| my grandmother was the same exact way..i used to hate that about her and thats why i hardly ever visited her..everytime i did it was always.."go lose some weight! LOOK AT YOU!!" "you're never going to get a boyfriend or get married..look at you!!" but as soon as I started toning up and getting better..she was stunned but of course found other ways to annoy me.."why do you dress so slutty? you know what kind of guys you are going to attract? LOSERS! Burger flippers!" geez thanks grandma..but then she passed away and i feel awful..because in reality..i viewed her as my mother..she was the one that raised me the most..and it hurts really bad..but i know that i had my reasons as to why i did not see her as often..i couldn't take that kind of criticism any longer..like you said, it hurt to hear that come out of my own grandmother!.. anyway..so just wanted you to know that u arent alone on this one..lol ttyl! |
