Starting tomorrow (10/10/02) I am going to compile a list of the fellow indieflicks memebers' favorite indie flicks. I am taking suggestions for best indie flick ever and also for anyone that listens to indie rock, which bands they think rock the casbah! Let me know what you think and I will put your suggestions on my diary. I will stop collecting suggestions in a week (10/17/02) and then on the 18th, I will make the lists. Happy hunting!!!

hello, here is a random message. just thought i'd say hi! xx

Yeah, I agree about Artisan being way too mainstream. Blair Witch and Stir of Echoes were the only good films from them. The others are crap. I have found that Sony Classics do alright films (welcome to the dollhouse) and I think that they did Heavenly Creatures too. But I have been really getting into foreign films lately. I saw "Y Tu Mama Tambien" and "Amores Perros" and I enjoyed them both. Do you like foreign films? Do you have any good suggestions of other good ones? I am kinda new to this area of films. Thanks...pmattie.
from pmattie :
Yeah, I noticed that all the movies that came outta Artisan were a bit on the weak side. But, for some reason...I really liked 'Blair Witch Project'. Shoot me, but I thought it was cheesy enough to scare me. I still can't camp very easily. But wasn't 'Stir of Echos' an Artisan film? I love that movie too. Kevin Bacon almost looks as good in that as he did in 'Tremors.' :)
from pmattie :
Hey, thanks for joining the "indieflicks" diaryring. I see in your profile that you like River's Edge too. I love that movie...especially Dennis Hopper. I love his surly demenor. So what other movies do you like? Thanks again for joining.

update April 6, 2020: Sorry, we just had 8+ hours downtime due to a server problem. Restoring from backups took soooo long, but everything is back and no data was lost. Ay yay yay! Anyhow, hope everyone is well with the virus stuff.
