Along the lines of singing "Kiss me Baby...", the funniest pop song I ever heard was an accapella "boy band" group singing "Genie in a Bottle." Funniest damn thing I think I've ever heard in my life. I haven't laughed that hard in a really long time. Good luck with the move!

And thanks for the comment about the revised story :) I was just thinking, it's been about twenty YEARS since there was a major forest fire anywhere near where I live in WI. And the last huge one was the Peshtigo fire (on the other side of the state) that flared up the same day as the Great Chicago fire. Must be on account of getting more rain or something.

Well, considering that I currently "have" to live with my parents while going to school...it's not that bad of a deal really. Although, getting used to not being able to be completely on my own schedule has been hard to get used to. (You know, like being "expected" to put in appearances for certain meals and the like.) But to be able to go to school and all...it's really not bad :) Good luck trying to figure it all out.

I'm glad you like the flash fiction :) The son of solomon stuff got started because my church (when it was mentioned at all) said it was allagory but my dad always told me it wasn't. So of course I wanted to know what it really was then. I've been finding out for nearly a year now. Glad to hear you enjoy the studies, I sometimes wonder if they're worth the time and effort to post. Have I mentioned that I really enjoy your diary? I don't think I have. Your diary is awesome.

Maybe not noticing your notes has something to do with that not checking your email as often as diaryland??? lol One of my main goals during this phase of my life is surprising people and doing the things least expected of me. Writing about that other thing that "starts with e" is certainly part of my campaign. Few expect the church-going girl in baggy jeans and loose sweaters to write like that, much less know about Shulamith and her "e" thoughts about Solomon. It's rather entertaining to radically change their minds rather more quickly than expected :)

It seems to me that you and I are in about the same place right now. My younger brother just got engaged over the weekend too. I'm happy for him but at the same time, there's an overwelming awareness that our family is rapidly changing and that's a bit sad.
