| Elliott and I have been together for five years...we met when he was 17 and I was 15. During his senior year, he told me he was joining the Army...and I was proud of him. Mind you, this was a time we weren't really at war. When the war first broke out I really lost it. However, I choose to "put myself through" the heartache and lonliness all because it'll be so rewarding in the end. Other people would shy away from that kind of thing, but not us Army chicks! We refuse to give up something so good. |

| Hey there....I just happened to join your ring because I too am in love with a soldier! I'm luckier however...my soldier isn't in Iraq, but in Russia to do busy work of all things! We have limited contact and I know just how you feel about not having a physical boyfriend. It's tough...I often feel depressed too. His phone calls and emails are what keep me going and I think he'll be home soon. It's almost enough for us to hear from them, but it's much better for them to come home. :) |

Anywho.. I wouldnt have took that job either... if i had a job and had to go to school.. school would be first because I can always get a better job later on! LoL |
