I tried posting a comment about thunderstorms but it wouldn't let me. it looked like this " thunderstorms are cool, except when you are driving in them at night and you lose control of your car in a giant invisible puddle, which would have been visible if the lightning had turned on at that opportune moment. but from a porch in a wicker rocker, they are quite delightful. even better in a lean on the laurel highlands...so long as your toes don't get wet.

I just wanted to say that that was a beautifully written entry. It looks like you're similar to me in that we write best when we aren't happy. It's a cursed talent ;o) I also wanted to clarify that you did, in fact, make my life brighter after my breakup with Charlie. hmmm star wars is the only one I've actually almost played. I have some friends that grew up on D&D that keep trying to make me check it out, unfortunately, as a GM, I have looked over the books and it looks like you are either playing a hack and slash or if more in depth, fighting over rules constantly. I had a player in one of my games that entered it after it was well established, so I was feeling safe, but we ended up arguing over rules wasting approx. 1/2 the time we could've been actually playing...needless to say, I ended the game before it's time :( I love the concept of D&D, but I can't get past all the rules... that is why I love whitewolf, so easy, and if there is any questions, it clearly states in the book that the GM is law, which is as it should be. so many times I have had a player roll on dex+security instead of say...wits+security to lockpick only to have it thrown in my face that I am playing wrong. But I say if it makes sense, why question it, just because you have the damn book memorized, damn I am longwinded...thats all for now :)
