This is a story, a novel, set in a time not so long ago but unique...A time of Flower Power, peace signs, drugs, war protests, assassinations, casualty counts and body bags on the nightly news.... American Children weren't sheltered from these horrors, but God forbid they knew anything at all about sex. Kids watched primetime expos on MIAs being tortured and protesting students being shot, but though well-known amongst the news media, the sexual escapades of politicians and rock stars were taboo subjects. Those coming of age were thrown from sheltered innocence to a new society... a sexually blossoming, sometimes violent society in which roles, values, and rules were changing... and in the midst of this... a love story...for love is unchanging and timeless.
