Briareos was one of the three Hecatonchires (the other two were Cottus and Gyges), which were born of Gaia and Uranus. They were stronger, more overbearing, and more fierce than even the mighty Cyclops. They had 100 arms and 50 heads each. After getting tossed into Tartarus by Uranus (who took a strong dislike to him), he was rescued by Zeus and helped in the fight against the Titans. Also called Aigaion: monster with a hundred hands, summoned by Thetis to save Zeus (the Iliad). This isn't about any of that crap. But if you made it this far into the description kudos to you.
