I am Emma VonHeindriche-Darkblade. I am a half-breed bastard. My father was an unknown blue dragon and my mother was married to Lord VonHeindriche of the Wyrm Wood, north west of Waterdeep. I travel the realms with my older half brother Wolfgang VonHeindriche, a Knight of Great Stature. My childhood was miserable. My mother wanted nothing to do with me, and while Lord VonHeindriche publicly accepted me. Privately he wanted nothing to do with me. My only happiness came from my brother. When he left for the adventuring life, I had to leave with him or I would go mad alone. We traveled the realms, he in search of combat and treasure. I, in search of happiness and acceptance. I thought that I had found that. I thought that when I met Hogarth my search was over. But the gods had other plans for us....
