I studied Biblical Languages in college. I'm interested in theology, linguistics, rhetoric, grammar, and tea! Tea is good. I am a firm believer in a Creator (God) who created humans to enjoy Him and to bless us in the process. Humans, however, rebelled against Him. As such, we've become traitors who rightfully deserve death. Sadly, we can do nothing to be pardoned. Thankfully, this Creator is a loving, gracious, and merciful God who has provided the only means of pardon: He sent His only Son�Jesus�to die for His people. Jesus' death absorbed the full measure of God's just wrath that we deserve. Every one, therefore, who puts their faith (i.e. trust/belief) is pardoned. (genuine faith, by the way, is evidenced by "repentence" which is the turning away from sin as one turns to Christ in obedience). No longer traitorous rebels, then, those who put their faith in Jesus are made sons and daughters of God. Such people are known as the "Church," and are also referred to as the "Bride" of Christ. Once enemies of God, we are now His Son's Bride! Awesome!! :-)
