My favorite music:

Stone Temple Pilots
comments: Oldie but Goodie.
System of a Down
comments: Wow, a band that doesn't constantly croon about romance. Totally awesome political and societal commentary. They Might Be Giants meet nu-metal.
Nightwish
comments: Metal opera. No, really. Rich vocals, fantasy lyrics not unlike poetry, and some fairly happenin' BGM makes this one great band.
Burden Brothers
comments: Post-grunge from former Toadies, Vaden. Music ranges from sounding like Pearl Jam to something out of a jammin' blues/western concert. Currently indy.
Queensryche
comments: 80's style hair rock with an operatic quality and just an all around awesome sound. Positively great stuff.

My favorite movies:

Wrestling
comments: I'm a whore. My Life Is Jericho, Raven, Spanky, Christian.... Among many, many others. And yes, I like the slash aspect too. ^^;
Tennis no Oujisama
comments: Who knew a series about TENNIS could be so damned entertaining? But with a great cast that back up what would normally be a boring plot, this one of my loves. Suki da na, Mizuki!
Get Backers
comments: Sometimes you know it's just fanservice, but Ban and Ginji are fun. I like the idea. I like the cast. The manga is most excellent, the anime cuts through the filler.
DNAngel
comments: It's pretty much a bishounen-laden series. Satoshi rulez j00.

My favorite authors:

HP Lovecraft
comments: The true horror author--and the only one I can tolerate. All else is imitation. ^_~ Lovelove: Colour Out of Space, Rats in the Walls, At the Mountains of Madness, Call of Cthulhu, Shadow Over Innsmouth
Sartre
comments: Existentialist author. 'Le Nausee' is a must-read for even the casual philosophy student.
Douglas Adams
comments: Hahahahaa, this man is a witty genius. I never get tired of re-reading his stories. Rest in peace, Mr. Adams.
Oscar Wilde
comments: This man is completely and utterly brilliant. If you haven't had the joy of experiencing this Victorian author, you are missing out on very whimsical pieces. Lovelove: Dorian Gray, Canterville Ghost, The Happy Prince (and nearly all his fairy tale
Ray Bradbury
comments: He gratuitously abuses metaphors, but his vision, his scope, his imagination!!! It just totally inspires me in every single way!

update April 6, 2020: Sorry, we just had 8+ hours downtime due to a server problem. Restoring from backups took soooo long, but everything is back and no data was lost. Ay yay yay! Anyhow, hope everyone is well with the virus stuff.
