My favorite music:

Goo Goo Dolls
comments: Their combination of honest and insightful lyrics plus music ranging from hard to soft rock makes them perfect for any emotion and one of my favorite bands of all time, not to mention they were AWESOME in concert.
Pearl Jam
comments: Very dynamic, they range from excellent rock songs to very emotional slow songs.
Secret Garden
comments: "Many have said that our music is very "visual" and evocative. It's been suggested that it is music to a film not yet seen". - Fionnuala Sherry
Linkin Park
comments: Unique sound of rock with attitude, enhanced with hip-hop and tasteful use of turntable art.
Green Day
comments: Great band, some of the best rock songs out there. Really love their new songs, and some older slow songs too.

My favorite movies:

K-Pax
comments: A very emotional and thought provoking movie that deals with mental illness, other life forms, and the possibility of an individual. Favorite movie of all time.
Lord of the Rings
comments: All three movies are amazing, the more I watch, the more I love them. I'm going to have to read the books soon, some reason I haven't yet.
Star Wars
comments: Not as much as LOTR, but still great movies, especially like the scenery and the 'look' of the movies.
V for Vendetta
comments: "There is no certainty, only opportunity."
50 First Dates
comments: Very funny movie that deals with some pretty deep stuff. Movie never fails to make me cry and it carries a special meaning for me because of my own car accident.

My favorite authors:

William Styron
comments: The Confessions of Nat Turner: From the first sentence, I feel in love with this book, its incredible and my favorite book.
Scott Fitzgerald
comments: The Great Gatsby: Written beautifully and I can relate to the characters.
George Orwell

Aldous Huxley
comments: Brave New World: A very different look into the possible future.
Lois Lowry
comments: The Giver: About a Utopian society that sacrificed color, love, and many memories.
