♥ HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY ♥
from shortst101 :
please, please, let me know where you go
from boxx9000 :
My buddy, wyndspirit, has a *100 books* club. As much as you read, it would be perfect for you. Go check it out.
from boxx9000 :
it's a new day, it's a new year. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
from summer-gale :
That was strange .. guestbook worked! I doesn't for me! I must concur that the dress was hideous but I found a bit of charm in the use of the word peaness. Your guestbooker though put words in your mouth. It kind of makes you wonder how they're related doesn't it?
from captainron :
Thanks... I was going to leave you a note this morning, but just couldn't figure out the right words... I still can't. Hang in there.
from summer-gale :

I am hanging around in sweats and t-shirt and really need to shower, but that sounds too much like work and I'm on vacation. Hope Rick feels better soon.

Your first gifts from yoru son .. awww.. that is so sweet! I can remember those days and it kind of makes me melt.

Merry, merry Christmas from our house to yours.
from boxx9000 :
Is that a PINK tree? WhEeEEee. THANKS.
from summer-gale :
I wish mine was up too. I had big plans but nothing happened.
from boxx9000 :
PLEASE (pretty please with sugar on top) Post a pic of your Christmas tree.

In reply to your comment at my diary: YES! The bathroom is HUGE! It's ridiculous. I have NO idea WHY they made the bathroom so BIG and the kitchen so SMALL.
from boxx9000 :
1. Im sorry this is happening to you. 2. hang in there, dont get discouraged 3. Try to relax and stay calm. 4. I care about you and Im always around if you need to talk. 5. Surely its difficult on you and people need to respect what youre going through.

from boxx9000 :
((((hugs)))) I went thru four miscarriages before my first born. My sister in law was pregnant the same time as my pregnancy #4 and I miscarried in my 4th month. I was so jealous of her. I cried my eyes out when the family threw her HER baby shower. My husband was happy for his sister and proud to be an uncle, but all HER happiness were triggerers for my UNhappiness with NOT being able to have a baby. Well, it all works out in the end somehow, it always does. There is no use fighting it because it doesn't do any good at all. There's really not much you can do about feeling what you are feeling because those feelings are real. There's a reason for everything and it may seem IMPOSSIBLE right now to see it, but you'll see, it really does all work out. Go ahead and yell and scream and curse the world and then when you least expect it you'll say, "Oh, THAT'S why things worked out the way they did" been there. done that. Lots of (((hugs))0 for you and I REALLY DO KNOW what you are feeling.
from shortst101 :
hey, sighs, hang in there. Things are going to be OKAY. You are a strong woman. And I understand what you are feeling. Then again, I think we understand each other in many things. Hugsss, i'm here for you.
from boxx9000 :
Think POSITIVE! Your brain will believe whatever you tell it to believe so....tell it, "I LOVE MATH!" Find a way to make the BEST of this and to actually LEARN how to do MATH. What level are we taliking about anyways? I used to really HATE math and I even took a math anxiety class to deal with getting thru all my university requirements for my BA/BS. GOOD LUCK! Join a study group and GO to tutoring. Anything done well takes PRACTICE.....lots of it.

Dave and I met at age 20, married at age 24, divorced at age 48, RE-MARRIED at age 50. 2007 will mark 31 years together.

stop by and check out my newest project. : ) http://www.chickenscratchonacocktailnapkin.com
from boxx9000 :
AA/AS are totally useless, but you get them anyways on your way to a BA/BS, so you might as well take them, I did. The ONLY graduation I attended was my 5th year for my credential. I am only 10 units away from my masters and one GIGANTIC paper away that I do NOT want to ever have to write. hehehehehe. I have about 90 units past my BA/BS but you know how that all works, they have to be SPECIFIC classes to get the special paper to hang on the wall. I have NO idea wher my actual diplomas are? Maybe in a boXx in the garage??? I'm most proud of my MINORS, I have three.
from boxx9000 :
When do you get your AA/AS? and when do you get your BA/BS? Will you continue on for your Masters?
from boxx9000 :
I had to do so much useless writing regarding education *theories*. NONE of which has been in the least bit useful or practical to me in teaching, running or managing of an actual classroom. (sigh) I do not think 5 years of college is necessary to teach 4th grade. What would practical would be to pair up a new teacher with an experienced teacher and learn while on the job. Every classroom needs TWO teachers. The one in training could be the assistant.
from boxx9000 :
HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY. This year would have been Dave's and mine 30th year of off and on marriage. Currently we are celebrating about 20 whole days (on this time around) of Mr & Mrs. hehehehehe.

from dukkha-tanha :
I love koolkkb. He rocks. How could you even ask for such a great son? You can't. He's awesome. =)
from cosmicrayola :
This message it for koolkkb. You are a terrific kid, do you know that? And about your friends? Don't worry about them. My son is 35, long haired, and tatooed. He keeps a blog on myspace. On the front of his profile, he lists me (his mom) as one of his heros. Keep bragging about your mom if you want. You can tell a lot from a man by looking at how he respects his mom.
from boxx9000 :
That is such a sweet note, but the teacher in me wants to correct all the spelling errors.
from koolkkb :
mom. your the awsomest mom a kid could have. =] i love you soo much, and i hope you know that already. i adore the time we spend together, its the best thing in a lifetime, to have memories with that special person you love, and for me thats you. you might not beleive me, but you can ask my friends.. sometimes, they get mad at me for talking about you too much. every week when we spend time together, i go to schoo, and brag about how cool my mom is, and how much i love her. you might think this is cornie, but, its the truth. i love you! love keith

No problem, I'm glad you liked it and didn't think I was weird by leaving it. When I find a quote which says something (which describes how I feel about something) so simply and clearly it really is amazing and precious to me (weird?). That quote is my favourite one ever and I'm glad you liked it :)
from applerobot :
What you said made perfect sense and it was a great entry. It reminded me of my favourite quote in a book, ever (it's a long one, but it's good and I'd like to share it). It's probably not related to what you were talking about at all, but I like it and know that as you like books and quotes and things... I should share: "How many times have you tried to talk to someone about something that matters to you, tried to get get them to see it the way you do? And how many of those times have ended with you feeling bitter, resenting them for making you feel like your pain doesn't have any substance after all? Like when you've split up with someone, and try to communicate the way you feel, because you need to feel that somebody understands just how pissed off and frightened you feel. The problem is, they never do. 'Plenty more fish in the sea', they'll say, or 'You're better off without them', or "Do you want some of these potato chips?' They never really understand, because they haven't been there, every day, every hour. They don't know the way things have been, the way that it's made you, the way it has structured your world. They'll never realise that someone who makes you feel bad may be the person you need most in the world. They don't understand the history, the background, don't know the pillars of memory that hold you up. Ultimately, they don't know you well enough, and they never can. Everyone is alone in their world, because everybody's life is different. You can send people letters, and show them photos, but they can never come to visit where you live. Unless you love them. And then they can burn it down." Only Forward - Michael Marshall Smith
from dukkha-tanha :
Excellent entry. He is as lucky as you are. It brought a tear to my eye. =)

thank you about the cakes! i always make them and then focus on my flaws the minute i show them to other people, but i guess it's like that with anything, right? having the boy here was SO nice. and we won't have to wait a year again. i just finalized yesterday that i'm going to ireland in april!
from meine-kleine :
ahh, see, i didn't know in what respects your ex had been untrustworthy. i sort of figured all of them automatically due to that! haha. well, you're lucky. WE'RE lucky that that is one thing we don't need to worry about in the least, because i know if that aspect of my relationship was ever in question i'd lose my mind completely. it's perfectly understandable that you have a certain mindset still coming out of a marriage to, um. i'll call him "dumbass" (if that's okay by you, that is!). a marriage to dumbass. but it's alright because you try, and you know when you're in the wrong, and because you realize what's up. and so you'll get better and better about it, i promise. plus, rick loves you, hawk and all!
from meine-kleine :
my mother is a lot like this with her boyfriend due to her past. although, he's messed up a bit himself. i'm a very jealous and watchful person myself, but i have to remind myself that ultimately no matter how jealous i get i know my guy's amazing and he'd never betray me. i feel bad for hawking over him at times too, but i try to cut it down. aren't epiphanes great?
from shortst101 :
i need to raid your book collection
from shortst101 :

Do you read ArtGnome? She's an older re-entry student to college and also hates math. I think she hates me right now, too. She thought I was being rude to her when I commented last.

from boxx9000 :
Do you have COSMIC'S book?????
from applerobot :
Hmmm... Ive been reading you for a while (love it, by the way!) and I just love that you love books! I really should get you to recommend some for me (because I'm falling behind badly!), but my recommendation is "How to be Good" - by Nick Hornby! I saw that it only has 3 stars on Amazon, but that is rubbish, it's fantastical. Oh and "Prep" by Curtis Sittenfeld is good too! -- apologies if youve read either!
from boxx9000 :
Did they intend to say *shouldn't* or makes it MORE difficult? read again.

The change in the way clothing fits is an awesome sign!!! You are probably down at least a size. They say (and "they" are always right) that it's about 10 lbs between clothing sizes. I've noticed more like 15-20 for me. A scale will help your motivation when you keeps seeing the numbers down, but don't weigh yourself more than once a week if you do get one. It'll drive you nuts. =)
from shortst101 :
Hang in there Kristy! Things are going to be fine! I feel it in my bones.

My dog has eaten sooo much chocolate over the years, I've done a bunch of research. Actually the stuff we call chocolate doesn't have all that much chocolate in it and most dogs, Except for the really little ones can eat a ton before it makes them sick. Louie has ove the years eaten several dozen chocolate bars, half a chocolate cake, a box of chocolate eclairs and an entire chocolate torte. All it did every time was make him disapointed that he got caught.
from boxx9000 :
My doctors have never mentioned PCOS, but I do have a lot of those symptoms. Maybe i SHOULD have my last ovary removed. Would I lose weight?
from shortst101 :
I might have some things I can send you about PCOS. I"ll try to find them. Hugsssss
from boxx9000 :
I only have one ovary. My left one was removed when I was 33. I already had had my tubes tied so I was finished with having kids. The good thing about only one ovary is you only get cramps on one side. hehehehehe. Sending good vibes your way. (((hugs)))
from dukkha-tanha :
I wish you the best and will send positive thoughts and prayers your way. =)
from shortst101 :
Hey, You hang in there Kristy. Everything is going to be fine. I just know it. The PCOS you can deal with (i'm sure you will deal with it better than I have) and the world of medicine is amazing these days what can be done. I'm here if you need anything, hope you know that.
from shortst101 :
Hey, if you need to talk, you know where I am and how to get in touch with me. Hugssss
from boxx9000 :
HI! i'm baaaaaaaack! My son graduated from High School at age 16. My daughter dropped out of school at age 16. (Both G.A.T.E. identified) I didn't even START college until age 42. School is NOT for EVERYONE and definitely NOT on the same time schedules. The KEY is to never stop learning or LOVING to learn. A High School graduation certiificate means very little in the BIG picture. A college degree , however, means quite a lot. LOVE, BoXx
from summer-gale :
OK, now you made me cry. You have given me the words to match the thought of "child".
from shortst101 :
Hey, I hope all goes well at the doctor. And big hugsss, I know you miss your son as much as he misses you.

OMG YES!!! I *loved* those books. That and "Waiting Games". Loved them loved them loved them! Summer of 1984, sister, I read them both. I was just turning 14. Wasn't the guy Michael? He was awesome. I wanted one just like him. OMG. Yes, my heart skipped a beat. =)
from boxx9000 :
I think it is possible to still carry a baby even if your ovaries don't work. You just need the uterus, right?
from boxx9000 :
I had an ovary take a vacation on Thanksgiving day in 1989. Bye bye ovary. It had a tumor and the doctors removed it. I don't miss it a bit. I still have the other one. I'm actually looking forward to menapause. No more monthly stuff would be nice. (((((hugs)))) on your medical results. They will probably tell you to STOP worrying and to just PRACTICE (hehehe) more.
from shortst101 :
Try not to worry about the doctor's appointment. Hugsss
from boxx9000 :
music signifies or triggers emotional response. So does smells, sights, tastes, and touches. We are sensory stimulated beings.
from boxx9000 :
censorship is a BIG pet peeve of mine. I come up against it all the time in the arts. Both words and images are art related, forms of personal expression. I do believe there needs to be FAR better communication between parents and children. However, there are some subject matters I would NOT want a pre-teen reading. Like graphic pornography or gruesome murder details. I think the violence does more harm than sex. I have no problem with nudity.
from grlscout :
Hey doll - would you do me a favour and see if when you try toget into my diary, if it asks for the username and password or not? It seems like it just comes up and doesn't ask for the password anymore, like its unlocked (yikes!) Could you give it a shot for me and tell me if its that way for you?
from shortst101 :
HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!
from summer-gale :
I had that procedure and there was nothing wrong despite tenderness. So take heart negative is a probability
from shortst101 :
Hope everything with the procedure comes out good...and I promise i'll try to do better about writing. Kick my in my butt!
from wildrosie :
See?? I told you the procedure wasn't that bad! As for the discomfort on the one side, it could be as simple as you ovulating on that side. Good luck on your results!
from boxx9000 :
Wouldn't a sperm count be a whole lot easier to do to rule out that part of the fertility equation first? It took me 10 years and 4 miscarriages before I had my son at age 27. My daughter was born 14 months later and then another miscarriage the same year, so I had my tubes tied.
from wildrosie :
Well, being still legally married to my husband, you know, the child-molesting bastard who ran off with an 18 year old bimbo, I guess I have a view on this. And the view is, if it doesn't bother Randy and Chrissy, then don't let it bug you. I'd love to get a divorce from my hubby. Problem is, I can't afford one. Because of the issues involved, it will run probably at least 15-20K when all is done. I don't have that much. I don't even have 15-20 dollars to my name. If I open the can of worms, then his family may step in on his side, and they are ALL millionaires. Every single one of them. So Chrissy may be afraid of opening a can of worms, especially if hubby doesn't want to give her a divorce. Oh, and on the book issue? go to a used book store, and buy her her own copy. Tell her that it is so good, you know she will want to keep it.
from boxx9000 :
P.S. I will send you the eiffel tower hot dog sculpture card if you give me a mailing address to send it to. Email me at [email protected] I thought of you because you like all things FRENCH and you are always cooking.
from boxx9000 :
The Ex and I were married to other people when we first met back in 1976. We were married to each other from 1980-2005. Now we are divorced and living together. The legal marriage license did not do anything to make our relationship *better*. Being divorced has improved our relationship 100% x 3736715416489506787. hehehehe. The REAL marriage is what is in our hearts, minds and souls and NOT what the court writes on a piece of paper.
from summer-gale :
How very interesting that you should drop by. Thank you for your comment and I see we have some things in common. I'll be back.
from boxx9000 :
I will NEVER marry my Ex husband because I do NOT want to be related to HIS FAMILY! There is the piece of paper (legal document) and there is state of mind. The paper means NOTHING to me.
from boxx9000 :
That's WHY they are Ex's. hehehehehehehe. Although *I* like my Ex BETTER now that we are divorced than I did when we were married. It's a strange world.
from cosmicrayola :
Hahahaha! They sure do!
from boxx9000 :
I was at the card store the other day and I saw a cards that reminded me of you. The picture was a lady in her kitchen and she had made the Eiffel Tower out of hotdogs. hehehehehe.
from wildrosie :
Good luck in getting to the bottom of the problems, and don't worry, a trans-vaginal ultrasound isn't at all painful. Just a little discomfort, (It is hard plastic when you are used to softer parts!) but totally bearable. I think the worst part is all the KY jelly they stick on the wand! Makes you sloosh and glop about for a bit! Ick!
from less-than3 :
i'll be thinking of you and sending well wishes...

Sorry about the knee. Hope it's better today. I'm working my way backwards in your diary so notes are gonna be backwards too. God I loved this song. Hard to believe it was 20 years ago. That was the year I graduated.
from shortst101 :
Have a wonderful time !
from wildrosie :
Once, when I was in Athens, Greece, I was talking to a really great man, who happened to be a cab driver. He had suffered political persecution in the early 70's, and as a result, he wanted to best for his son. Result? The son was a drug addict, lazy, no impetus, bitching about how hard his life was. I told the Dad to send his son to somewhere like Mexico or India, so he could see real suffering and hardships. No matter where we live, we fail our children if we don't make them realize the connection between their efforts and food, shelter, clothing, etc. Just my thoughts.
from cosmicrayola :
Oh, and the new look of your site? Somehow, it doesn't seem like you. You are poetry and prose, tulips and daffodils, warm and huggy. The new site looks too organized and business-like. Too stark, yes that's the word. Nice, but not you. My 2 cents.
from cosmicrayola :
I grew up in a family where food was scarce. When I had my own kids, food was always plentiful and never ever used to reward or punish. Food isn't a luxury. It is neccessary. Take away the TV or the Gameboy, but never the food. I also never forced my kids to empty their plate. The only rule was that if you put the food on the plate yourself and didn't finish it, there would be no desert. That was to save on food, not to punish. My opinion, anyway.
from boxx9000 :
People need a license for everything except parenting. Parenting classes should be mandatory. Obviously, some parents should never be allowed to raise a child, but it's their American right to have as many as they want and screw them all up. I never physically punished my kids. I's not necessary. It is child abuse. However, verbal abuse can do damage, too. I set clear rules and was consistant.

from chickpea981 :
I think my friend used to live in Pinellas park and thats where I stayed with her when I visited a few years ago. Scary! Also the sewage... yeah, we had that problem in the basement of this house. Almost lost ALL of my posessions to that one but the water stopped one foot short of my room. *cringe* I think I got high on bleach from all that clean up.

Double check with a housing advocacy place, but in some states, you can withold rent if there are serious issues, but you had better put it in an escrow account so you can prove that you HAD the rent, but you withheld it for good reason. Just double check it sweetie!

from less-than3 :
hehe. i'm glad i'm not the only one who sees the humor in BLUNT. hehe. oh, can you email me at my new email address: [email protected], so i can email you back with the whole san diego/eric story? i didn't forget about your note from the other day, i'm just transitioning all my email crap. :)
from boxx9000 :
All misery is caused by want.
from less-than3 :
you know, i looked at the top right hand book really quickly, and read it as "kama sutra" -- gee, wonder where my mind is at? *cough*
from boxx9000 :
I just do not believe in a god. I'm ok with that. I'm also OK with people who do believe. "I'm Ok, You're Ok". Wasn't that a book at one time?
from shortst101 :
Awwww, baby seven, i mean Evan is a cutie pie!
from boxx9000 :
My two kids are 14 months apart. My sister and I are 6 years apart. I don't know if one is better than the other. I think I would prefer to have a sibling that was closer in age.
from shortst101 :
Yes that did happen at my company. What an idiot. I just can't understand the way some people think. Hey, by the way, thank you for the article you sent regarding epilepsy and depression, I appreciate anything that comes my way. And today is my sister's birthday too, except she's 6 years younger than me.
from shortst101 :
Wow, a girlfriend, that's exciting.....growing up too too fast
from shortst101 :
Waving as I pass through.
from boxx9000 :
You and I both tend to *react* to situations without thinking it all thru. Correct? With all the reading you like to do, you should be able to find a book that will help you re-program how you react to stressful situations. I had to do a similar thing and I used audio tapes. I have past issues regarding trust. I'm 50 and I'm STILL working on it.
from shortst101 :
Sending you hugssss and good thoughts.
from boxx9000 :
There's probably a support group for your kind if you want one. (hehehehehehe) Personally, I try NOT to be attatched to anything too strongly. OhHhhHHhh, I probably need a support group, too.
from shortst101 :
Hey there, just wanted to say hi and let you know i'm still hanging out...been busier than hell here....sighs
from less-than3 :
email me your address, and i'll send one out to you! :)
from less-than3 :
oh my god, that video was SO cutting-edge back in the day! hee! yeah, i feel OLD now. i remember when my friends and i loved them and we'd cut their pictures out of 16 and tiger beat and bop magazines...damn...
from boxx9000 :
010203040506. hehehehehehehe.
from cosmicrayola :
Well, technically, it will happen again at two minutes and three seconds past one on 04/05/3006 and every thousand years after. What say we meet up then for coffee. Hahahaha
from cosmicrayola :
You are just adorable! And I want a sylist from Malta too!!
from boxx9000 :
I ♥ HEARTS! Those are super cute rings. However, I don't wear a ring. I have soooOoooo many rings. iI's just not practical for me with all the mess I have my hands in all the time. However.....maybe....a HEART ring would be nice. hehehhehehehehehe. My birthstone is amethyst (yuk) I WISH it was emerald (or ruby or garnet)
from shortst101 :
He really is handsome and all grown up Kristy. God they grow up way too fast. Hugs
from boxx9000 :
That's a cute pic of your son. I like how his blue eyes match his blue shirt. How old is he again? My son is 23!
from shortst101 :
Sending you lots of hugs and good thoughts
from boxx9000 :
Hey, I DID my college time, FIVE whole straight years of FULL time schooling, sitting at a desk, IN a classroom. ALL so I can now spend the rest of my life standing in a classroom and grading all those papers the kids write during every free moment I have. WheEeeeEE!
from meine-kleine :
It would seem I totally misunderstood the tone of the note. I am going to go ahead and attribute that to my having only been awake for about 2 minutes as opposed to it being because I'm STUPID, and try to explain myself away with internet hugs. Internet hugs!
from meine-kleine :
Eep. I am truly sorry if I have offended at all, it was just a sort of joke? I mean, I'm German. There's a plethora of jokes there. Worse ones, even. I mean, the Irish overcame random famine and came out with a reputation for being cheery (albeit a bit boozed, haha). Maybe that's the point of the luck, eh? And I know my quality of diary entries has been less than five star as of late, but it's hard to produce anything decent at the moment. I'm just in an odd sort of mood, and have been. Sorry to disappoint!
from dukkha-tanha :
I loved this entry. You're right about this, of course. Go Ask Alice is one of my favorite books of all time. I'd totally let my kid read it. Your title today leaves a little food for thought. =)
from shortst101 :
Sorry to hear about your boss leaving. And the letter you wrote to him was wonderful. I know how you feel. One of my bosses is leaving next Friday and the other leaves in May. Everything changes and sometimes the changes truly suck. Hugs
from shortst101 :
Way to Go! I'm proud of you too! Your awesome!
from boxx9000 :
GO YOU!!!!! HOORAY!
from less-than3 :
congrats! that's awesome! :)
from shortst101 :
I loved what you posted in your diary today. And I got your email, just haven't been able to write back yet....but i will today :)
from shortst101 :
how totally cool is that, getting to meet the author! YAY
from ediblmercury :
You should just go ahead and read that thick ass book X9 It might take forever, but when your done youll be like "Yessss!" Unless it sucks, but at least ya got through it. Hell, if my school library has it Ill read it with ya. Two person book club. Woo and yay :9
from shortst101 :
You know you'd still have readers even if you only updated once a year! Hang in there...this week is over! Thank goodness. Sorry to hear about your boss leaving.
from ediblmercury :
Oh yeah! I remember now. Damn its been forever X9 And yeah, I think about Tracy a lot. I really miss talking to her. Sometimes I wonder if she just set it up to get away from everyone or something, but Im sure thats not the case :(
from shortst101 :
I heard this song a few weeks back and loved it instantly!

from sixelasauce :
you look really pretty!!!!!!!!!! the french lady did a great job! Loves ya!
from boxx9000 :
The Ex got both our kids jobs where he worked as a manager of a BIG BoXX home improvement store. There wasn't any problems. He paid them well, they got medical benefits, and they worked hard. Win/win for all. Is the nephew a flake or something?????
from shortst101 :
Sorry about the bad dream...but the one about your dad seemed like a good thing.....SMILES....Ricky is good, right?
from wildrosie :
"Rich Dad, Poor Dad" is a great book, and though it is repetitive, so is "The Richest Man in Babylon". You never do know when the smile you give someone may be the one thing that makes them hang on for another day! ~Rosie~
from shortst101 :
LOL @ the knife set! Unfortunately no red in my kitchen!
from cosmicrayola :
TFF! I almost with I DID hate someone!
from boxx9000 :
The *EX KNIFE SET* is HILARIOUS!!! I don't hate my Ex enough to buy one tho. However, if they made a GW BUSH one I would definitely buy it! RED is one of my favorite colors. BLOOD RED!!
from wildrosie :
OMG! I love the "EX"! If I didn't already have two knife sets, I'd get one. I would DEFINATELY get it no matter what if it had a knife in the correct place. ~Rosie~
from shortst101 :
Aww, the pics were great.....and heck your lazy eye isn't noticable at all. My niece has one too. Hugssssssss woman.
from captainron :
Thanks for posting the pictures. I had forgotten how pretty were are :-)
from cosmicrayola :
I heard them all too. My problem was my mom took us to a clinic. I was supposed to wear a patch, but when I was taken back the "other" doctor didn't see any sign of it (because I wasn't tired) and said I didn't need it. I think the worse thing about it was when I would look up at someone and they would yell "Hey! Are you looking at me or her?" I learned at a very young age that it wasn't as noticable if, when I looked up from reading, To close my eyes and refocus before looking up. I do it now as second nature and very rarely is it detected. Kids can be cruel. I remember it well. Thhe cool thing is that when I tell people, they don't believe it. I will say, "watch this!" and can make it go off on it's own. I have very good control of it now, hehe. When my kids came along, I once asked their doctor if they could fix mine. They said yes, that it is just a matter of pulling up the slack on the tendon/muscle/cord/whatever to tighten it. They said it would require therapy to learn to use my eyes together as All my life I had used them seperatly of each other. They said it would not improve my eyesight, so I said the heck with it. It was nice to finally have an option.
from boxx9000 :
I have one eye smaller than the other. When I get tired, it is REALLY noticeable. My younger brother had a surgery to repair his *lazy eye* They cut the muscle in his eyelid (that was too long) and made it shorter. His eyes looked perfectly matched when he was awake. The problem? It wouldn't close when he slept!!! (I kid you not)
from boxx9000 :
god does give more than one can handle, that's why people commit suicide.
from wildrosie :
Thank you for the vote, and thanks for adding me! Hope you don't mind if I add you too. If you notice your stats jumping, then you will know it is Rosie looking at your past!
from cosmicrayola :
J not being at any hospital is a good sign. I hope he's ok.
from less-than3 :

Kristy,We all do and say things at times that we can't help. It's so easy to get frustrated and not know what to do about that frustration. I know how you feel...but I know this....you and Rick will make it. After all that you guys have been through, I can see that you and Rick will be the ones that will make it. Also, sorry I haven't been around and that I didnt' answer your email either. Things here have been so crazy, that i don't know half the time who i even am. from dukkha-tanha :
I just read the last note from your boy and I have to say, I think there's a wise old man inside of him. WHat I realy wnated to say is that I sometimes throw things, and it's always somehting breakable. Mostly the phone. I've broken a few. The one we have now has a nice scratch on it from when I last threw it, which was roughly a week after we bought it. I always feel like an ass and hate myself for doing that shit. MAybe next time, I'll fly to FL and throw your ex's old lady. ;)

from dukkha-tanha :
I get pissed when you get those fucktard comments, especially when they come after such a great entry. Can you ban the IP for him? He sounds like a big jerk. =)
from boxx9000 :
I like reading you because I can always relate to what you are saying. I did not go to college staraight out of HS because I had a good paying job and saw no need. I always regretted that choice. As you know, I only recently completed college 3 years ago (age 46) Teaching is not for everyone. They do not teach you the MOST important thing to prepare for teaching and that is classroom management. YIKES! It is so overwhelming. I have learned to be extremely organized and allow little or NO unstructured time. (sad, huh?) It's a very demanding job. It doesn't pay enough for all the years of schooling and time that it requires. I'm either crazy or motivated by non monitary rewards.
from dukkha-tanha :
The link to "ms-dicks" on my diary. I had to go re-check my guestbook to make sure it was you that left that note. It was! At least, it was someone saying they were you...
from dukkha-tanha :
Holy shit, I just read your last guestbook entry and checked out that link! Too funny. I'm thinking I might want to do something about it...sometime! =)

from shortst101 :
hey woman.....28 days, sighs, i'm so happy for you and so want you to be happy too and i'm just excited for you. Now how come i didn't get an invite to wedding? Okies, no matter, can you send me your address? Please? Even if i didn't get invited I would like to send a gift. Hugsssssssssssssssss, miss you.
from meine-kleine :
Awww. I love love. I'm happy for you. You're lucky. I'm lucky. Everyone who has love like that is lucky. Psychotic worrying is just what happens when imperfect people with low esteem and odd happenings in their past come upon something as wonderful and perfect as love with the right person, because they can't wrap their minds around it properly. It's like an entire new species of animal or something. But it's fine, and, again, reaffirms how lucky we are. Hugs!
from less-than3 :
awwwww. you're gonna be just fine. i'm so excited for you!
from grlscout :
Thinking about you in all this huricane craziness. My friend Tina had a baby girl the other day and her middle name is Wilma (after her late mother) - so maybe Wilma will be sweet to your town. Here's hoping. Take care you!

from dukkha-tanha :
Love this most recent entry. I agree. Although, I do like the F word a lot and I don't find that it's as offensive as the judgmental part. Apologize to the F word! ;)
from less-than3 :
well, whether or not you take it, or despite the stress level, that's still a pretty cool honor - congrats! :)

love the nails, AND the invitations! and i finally put my university license plate holder on the Tucson...i love having it on there. :)
from dukkha-tanha :
Your school rant only made me thankful that I live where the school situations are somewhat normal. You go to school in your district, or if you want to go to a different school, you hvae to get a variance and Mom & Dad are responsible for transportation. That's only within the same city/town. Those are some fucked up school hours, too. The school system down there sure does seem like it's choking. Good luck. It'll all work out! =)
from shortst101 :
Hey, just wanted you to know i was thinking about you and miss you woman! Hugssssssssss
from dukkha-tanha :
You know, I think at 13 he might be old enough to spend a few hours alone afterschool. OF course, I know you've probably got the transportation issue to get around, but still? He's old enough to be around now and I only say that because it sounds like he really really REALLY wants to be at your place more. Plus he's just so darn sweet. I'll bet he's one of those kids who would do dishes and vacuum just because he's bored. =)
from pupart12 :
hey mom i dont know if you wanted me to stop reading or not but i knew i had to cause i wanted to know your fellings but i really really really want you to try hard to find a way to make it so that i can stay over at your house thats the greatest offer ever and i hope we can work it out love keith xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

from boxx9000 :
I would NOT want anyone from work reading my diary. YIKES! I don't want to censor myself and that would certainly put an end to spilling my guts. Both my kids read my diary, I'm Ok with that. I am SO glad I am NOT in school anymore. Except, now I TEACH school, so I guess I'm still *IN* school. How many more days until your wedding????
from boxx9000 :
You're right about the doom and gloom thing. I don't want a man in my life right now. I've been thru this before, this is my second divorce. I know how it all works. It will get better. I will get better. Then life will be better. Hopefuly, before I get too much older to enjoy what is left of it.
from devian :
if people really complained to HR about either of my paintings, then i guess i can scratch FL off as a place i'll live because i would wilt in that atmosphere. people are so narrow, so evil.
from devian :
i love jon's picture above your desk!!!! how cool!!!
from cosmicrayola :
Gee, I spent all that time in your office and you didn't even offer me a coffee.
from cosmicrayola :
Tell the man to go into the bathroom and pull a Hail Mary. OMG, did I say that? Naughty thing that I am.
from gumphood :
thanks for the add!
from boxx9000 :
My Ex lives in a mansion rent free with his parents. My son is in his 3rd year of college. NOT a penny of help from his father.
from resonant :
i no im making it sound more terrible then it really is. hes going away to school upsate which is really only like 5 hours away. i can see him whenever and he can come home whenever but i dont want him there! i want him home now. but i need to think of this way...its not like hes going to war , he is going to schoolto get a great education so he can get an awsome job and support me! im a sicko lol
from nicim :
thank you for adding me to your faves. Look forward to reading more of you!!
from devian :
i don't see anything wrong with your diary--did you change your template??? i like this one.
from devian :
your son's father can teach--scratch that--preach and brainwash--him whatever he wants, but that boy's saving grace is YOU! i didn't have someone like you to show me the other side of things...i had to come to that realization myself. however, you will do your son a wonderful service by just being there for him and letting him know that you don't have to be judgemental and hateful to make it in this world.
from dukkha-tanha :
As usual...I just caught up. I'd love to read the edited info that the trolls obviously led you to [email protected] your boy, he's amazing. I know he's being fed a lot of crap, but with a mom like you to look up to, he'll see through it all. Okay, now I'm going to google some promise keepers crappola. =)
from devian :
oh are you for real with that Promise Keepers entry? lord have mercy! your son IS being taught homophobia and that is tragic, but not un-doable. believe it or not, I WAS HOMOPHOBIC! yes, i was homophobic and also a devout christian at one time. these promise keepers need to keep one promise to me--stay the fuck away! tis people like the promise keepers, the MORMONS, all the hateful christians that give christianity a bad name and make people think ALL christians feel this way. yes, the bible says a lot of shit and people pick and choose what they want to attack others with. i studied the bible, i know what it says. i studied archaic language, so yes, i can actually READ the bible and i also know the bible was written in a lot of metaphors, which common hicks like the promise keepers don't comprehend. oh, the sadness that is religion. it's like giving a blind person a loaded gun.
from devian :
yes--it does always happen that way. that's what other lifetimes are for, i guess :) i posted a new poem today called Evil Insider. id love for you to read it :)
from devian :
i love the tat in all it's completed glory.
from cosmicrayola :
The more I read about your ex, the more I realize what a sick SOB he is. I'm just glad he is the "EX". How is it that all these people can quote all the hatred the bible supposedly espouses and never can remember one of the original commandments "Judge not, lest ye be judged. Jus sayin.
from annanotbob :
I'm so with you on all you said today. What's with these so-called religious groups that they're focused so much on hating? Scary stuff. Your son is lucky to have such a balanced, lovely ma. All the best.
from shortst101 :
Hey girlie! I sure have missed you. Love the tat, want to see pics of it finished.....love that things are going so good for you too. HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSS
from devian :
hey you!!!! per your request, i have posted tattoo pics--i just got my new one!!! i took my first tattoo of the eye of horas (that i got when i was 18) and had it updated and enhanced with some tribal artwork around it. it's so FUCKING GREAT NOW!!!!
from dukkha-tanha :
Too funny. I was even looking at the liquor bottles and never noticed the mirror. Did you notice that?!? Thanks for the laugh!
from devian :
well, isn't that just the nicest note i've received!!!! you are wonderful and i'm so happy to know you...having the support of another writer is so great for me. you validate me!
from devian :
right back at you, dear. :) you are supportive and loving and everything i'd want my mom to be. your son is very, very lucky. :)
from meine-kleine :
Eeee, weddings! Hello! I don't think I've left a note before, but reading about your plans made me happy as well. Did I mention eee, yet?
from boxx9000 :
I actually enrolled in a course (at the college level) called MATH ANXIETY. It helped me understand WHY I acted the way I did towards math. See if they offer one. It was very insightful.
from dukkha-tanha :
OMG your clothes! What a mess. And your boy. What a sweetheart. =)
from boxx9000 :
This is how I got thru the school clothes drama. I gave my kids $200 and told them to buy whatever they wanted. They could blow it all on one item or do thrift stores. It did NOT matter to me. It helped them learn how far $$ went as well.
from less-than3 :
holy crap you had one hell of a day. :( i REALLY and truly hope it gets better. apartment problems are THE WORST, and it seems like you've had more than your share. xox
from chickpea981 :
ooooo I like it muchos!
from devian :
nice tat!!!!! i can't wait to get another...i have three: one of the eye of horas, one of "believe" in korean and the other being a "D" in gothic script. :)
from resonant :
haha! that last entry was great you had me going until the last freakin' line!
from chickpea981 :
hurts so good to get new ink doesnt it?
from dukkha-tanha :
Thanks so much for your note. I really appreciate it...your ex sounds a lot more like my ex than my current husband. But also a lot like my current one too. Thanks again. =)
from cosmicrayola :
Run, don't walk to the phone and call your local high school guidence department. Ask for the name of a Algebra sudent that is getting high honors that would like to eark a littl cash and pay her/him to tutor you a few weeks until you "get it". If there isn't one there, call the college. I am sure there must be a Math brainiac that could help you for a few bucks. Once you "get it" you will be fine.
from boxx9000 :
Alegebra II was the ONLY class I ever got a *D* in. I had to re-take it (required) I worked so hard, went to the tutor everday, worked with a study group and I BARELY squeaked by with a *C*. I got a *B* in my upper division MATH course. I have NO idea WHY Algebra II was so damn hard. I felt as tho the instructor was speaking Martian or something. My buddy NateDogCool is a Math MAJOR. Ask him for Math help.
from boxx9000 :
Hi there! Thanks for the note in my guestbook. I'm willing to forgive just about every bad thing my Ex ever did EXCEPT for the way the divorce was handled and settled. I can NOT let that go. He MUST pay for half of our son's college tuition or I will NOT ever talk to him again. HIS CHOICE.
from devian :
thanks for the note about amber...i find out tomorrow how her surgery went yesterday and will post the update...i hope it's good news.&hearts
from shortst101 :
hey there, just wanted you to know that i was thinking about you and checking up on you. Hugssssssssssssssss
from resonant :
thank youuuu i really think so too this time-like for real! i mean this was something that was infront of my eyes all these years and i was the last to find out. i love ur new du by the way!
from cosmicrayola :
How pretty yu are!! Love the "do". And I love the shower curtain too, lol.
from devian :
thank you for that sweet message. i don't like to dwell on things in a "woe is me" kind of way. i love the way tradegy turns to triumph and look at all the "bad" things in my life as pieces of my armor. it is funny what you said about how people view your end product. i don't think many people truly understand the "intentions" of my work, but am just happy that people like my work at all. "skindiver" is about a drug overdose/suicide and so many people think of it as this sweet lullaby kind of love song because of the way it is played. "blood free" is about being so fucked up and like in a morphine-haze, but people just hear it for the melody and delivery...they just glaze over the lyrics. oh, the curse of being a songwriter, i guess. you know what i mean.
from devian :
since i'm a bit drunk and feeling confessional, "april waltz" was written for april, the girl who took my virginity. stupidly, i had unprotected sex and feared i had gotten an STD (hence: "all i bleed are april's seeds"). it really fucked with my head (the sex that is, for obvious reasons and that is where the line: "Inside you, I'm outside of me" comes from). april actually really loved the song and heard me sing it plenty of times, but i never told her what the lyrics really came from. her last boyfriend wrote a song along the lines of "april, you're a fucking whore and i hate you", so "april waltz" was beautiful to her. we remained friends but i lost contact with her years ago.
from devian :
thank you :) :) :) "april waltz" is pretty much everyone's favorite song from my band--that and "skindiver", which is why those two songs were re-done on "blood free". i recorded the entire album for my mother as her birthday present in 2001 and my cousin is finally getting around to mixing it, so she'll have it for a belated gift THIS year (hopefully--we'll see). wait until you hear it. actually, i should make you a tape of the good STUDIO version we did with many, many instruments (including violins) that is truly beautiful. you will love it for sure. yes, i will make you a tape of all my old, but very good and never-to-be-released, music. :)
from chickpea981 :
tres sexy! Maybe thats how I should get mine done - I think you are the only other person I know who has bangs!
from boxx9000 :
Oh my Ex has definitely cheated on me and worse. There's still plenty wrong with our relationship (whatever it is) Right now I'm getting more GOOD out of it then BAD. I don't understand it either. Just one day at a time.
from cosmicrayola :
Did you get my card??
from boxx9000 :
Your images aren't showing for me, but I BELIEVE YOU! (I feel your pain) In my undergraduate speech course, one of my fellow students gave her speech on her gall bladder surgery. I learned that I NEVER wanted to experience that pain. ((((hugs))))
from boxx9000 :
gall baldder surgery? YIKES!! I HEARD THAT IS WORSE PAIN THAN CHILDBIRTH!!! I hope you are up and about soon and feeling better. (((hugs)))
from devian :
my mom was a bit butchered with her sugery years ago--i'm sure she wishes she had that surgery NOW instead of THEN! yikes!
from devian :
"It is not important by how many you are loved it is the quality of love you receive that matters." --so true! i love that line. :)
from devian :
gallbladder surgery??? yikes. i'm glad you are recovering well though. my mom had that surgery years ago, but that was in the 80s and i'm sure medical procedures are more advanced now. yes, you certainly are loved and in situtaions like those, we truly know how loves and who could give a fuck about us. i'm glad something i said made you think. sometimes it helps getting a different perspective ;)
from devian :
...and kristy, i've heard much, much worse, too. that is hardly the most offensive thing someone has said to me. the people i grew up with back in trashigan (michigan) think that i died of AIDS because i'm not around there anymore. they can't fathom that i just MOVED AWAY--i'm gay and i'm not there, so i'm dead and i must have died from AIDS because you know, i'm gay and all fags get AIDS and die. like, duh? of COURSE i'm dying of AIDS! i'm GAY!
from devian :
why should you apologize for their ignorance??? please--i know that you thought since i'm so fabulous and cool and all that i wouldn't mind that kind of talk. what i do mind is having my individuality taken away because people think they know me based solely on my sexuality, which is idiotic. so, if i were straight, i'd be complex, but since i'm NOT, you can tell me all about me and my intentions? that really bothers me and they just need to open their eyes.
from devian :
art is in the eye of the beholder, so maybe it is really your friends who want to fuck someone bent over. that painting IS a window and it's about creativity and if they read something sexual in it, it is them--not me. i do get offended when people say things that like because just because i'm gay doesnt' mean that i'm no less a person than them...like some sexual freak or something. the other paining is NOT sperm either (what pigs you work with!) it's nothing really--it was supposed to be abstract. again--eye of the beholder so your friends are a bunch of CUM dumpsters! ha!
from devian :
in reference to your post about depression...i totally understand...two years of my life went by and when i came out of the haze, i realize i had just lost so much time...my entire life (which i thought traced back to the age of 9 when i began sucide attempts is actually my ENTIRE life, from as far as i can remember) has been a series of hazes and clarities...episodes of depressions...i'm in a mild state right now but realize that i'm coming out of it...thank god.
from devian :
i put "alone with everybody" by richard ashcroft on my MP3 player and thought of you...favorite track: "You on My Mind While I sleep". :)
from dukkha-tanha :
OMG, I just saw those same thongs at the "high-end fancy store" (okay, WallyWorld) where I bought some the other day and almost bought one. Too funny.
from less-than3 :
thanks!!! :D
from devian :
maybe he just stopped believing in himself and seeing his work made into a film reivigorated him...he was depressed and when i'm depressed, don't write and feel like it's all over...sometimes a nice note from someone just saying they were moved by something i did will reignite that spark that sometimes fades...
from devian :
you sweetie! thanks for that link--i loved the article. the reason i read the book was because i'm a huge gregg araki fan and wanted to know the book before watching the movie to see how it was done...i've heard great things and horrible things about the result, but if scott heim likes it, that's all that matters (since he wrote the damn book). :)
from boxx9000 :
When I started college a few years back I had to start from scratch, actually BELOW scratch. I needed 2 remedial Math courses and one remedial writing course. To finish college (BA) in 4 years I had to take MORE than a full load of courses every semester. I took summer school, too. My very last semester I took 22 units. I thought I would die. (and worked a 30 hour work week job) It was all worth it (except for the school loans) When is your estimated graduation date? What degree will you get? My major was Liberal Arts but I have minors in Art History, Studio Art, and Career Arts Management. ART is my LOVE. Teaching pays the bills.
from boxx9000 :
I used to do the same thing all the time (still do) I put things off until the very last possible moment. I actually function well under pressure. The only problem is if anything goes wrong (like the printer is out of ink) then you're basically screwed. I am the queen of piddling. I will do everything except for what I am supposed to be doing. Maybe I get a thrill out of the last minute pressure? I have no idea why I do it. I promise not to and then........
from devian :
i lost all my photos when my gold membership expired--which i'll NEVER renew (fuck off dland moneygrubbing bitches!). i think i may have it on a disc someplace, but by the time i find it, you'll have the painting!!!! it is ready to be framed in an 8x10 frame. i had to cut it down to fit it in the envelope!
from chickpea981 :
damnit! now I want to read soaring eagle's embrace!
from devian :
well, your package was put into the post this morning so it'll go out in today's mail!!! let me know when you get it and feel better! :)
from devian :
well, the painting is in a priority mail envelope, the label is attached and it will go out in tomorrow's mail. typically, it takes 3-4 business days, so i anticipate you receiving the package by thursday at the latest. enclosed is the painting, a letter and a VERY special surprise which i can promise no one in the world will ever own (something original, like your painting). :) (btw: the USPS tracking number is: 9101 0105 2129 7550 9118 96)
from devian :
most of my friends have been geminis and they're not my friends anymore. i don't know why i make myself believe that i like them so much when they always get on my nerves with the spit personality thing (it's SOOO true).
from devian :
was your ex a cancer by any chance?
from devian :
you're welcome for the insistance. you'll eat that book up like a light snack, i'm sure. it's fairly short but not a word is wasted. i like that it is written in first person, but told from several people's perspectives. i've never read a book that was written like that--usually first-person narratives are the same character telling their story throughout the whole book...it's worth every penny!!!! tell me, does anyone ever get jealous when you read a lot, like you're in your own little world rather than "reality"? i get that a lot when i'm in one of my rampages...i go so long without reading, and then read non-stop for quite a while...i'm now in the non-stop reading phase.
from devian :
i finished "mysterious skin" by scott heim and read reviews of the movie adapation by gregg araki and i'm thrilled to see the movie now and want to HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this book. i've never read a book that dealt with sexual molestation quite like this...it offers so many perspectives and shows how different people react to abuse...it left me breathless.
from dukkha-tanha :
Hee hee, sometimes I want to leave him, sometimes I don't. I'm insane like that. But I'm fairly comfortable with him, so I'm staying. And behaving. And thanks for the compliment! =) And I agree, I like being the brains of the operation, too, it can just get a little tedious soemtimes. But, the upside is, I never have to do any of the man stuff, like taking out the trash and spraying hornet's nests and such.
from coldandgray :
oh wow, I liked that post, so honest.
from boxx9000 :
That picture of your dog sleeping all curled up in the sheets is ADORABLE!
from devian :
i'm very serious about sending it. i'm just so bad at getting myself to the post office...i'm back in my old job though that takes me to the PO daily so it won't be an issue anymore...plus i just moved and unpacked all my paintings and saw it and thought of you :)
from devian :
[email protected] :)
from devian :
i will gladly make more recommendations. since i've had my glasses, i've been reading a lot lately. i went without them for almost a year and didn't read anything because...well, i couldn't really without hurting my eyes. i'm back, though!!! :) i feel terrible about taking years to send you that painting but it's always on my mind...i am going to send it to you without matting it. you can frame it, though and cut it down to fit a frame should you need.
from cosmicrayola :
My real name is Karen. I have never liked it. It just sounds mousey to me. I always wanted to be a Katie.
from boxx9000 :
I liked your diary entry about your name today. My real name is Laurel but I have never used it other then to sign checks and legal things. I have always used Laurie instead. I haven't heard from any of my 3 brothers in over 5 years. Family SUCKS.
from cosmicrayola :
WOW! That was a lot of typing!!
from boxx9000 :
That's a lot of books. I hope you used some kind of program that put them in ABC order for you? I guess there was no way getting around typing each name, tho? Whew, that made me tired just thinking about it. Would you please come and organize all my school stuff? I love to have things organized but I hate doing it myself. (sigh)
from meine-kleine :
Hi! Just a quick thanks for finding me worth reading and following me to my new diary! It's really flattering that people don't find my constantly switching to annoying they just leave it, haha. So yes, thanks!
from dukkha-tanha :
I just caught up on your past four to five entries. Mold-UGH! My cousin lived in an apartment complex that was full of it and her kids were always sick. They finally moved and amazingly enough they weren't sick all the time anymore. Did you take pictures? And your ex--he's a piece of work, ey? Her, too. I thought by her behavior that she was like 25. I loved "You're totally going to write about this in your diary". And Rick rocks! Is the boy going to stay at the same school? =)
from boxx9000 :
My son went to ten different schools by 10th grade. He graduated at age 16. I went to the same schools with my same friends from K-12. It depends on the individual. I don't think either one was better or worse.
from boxx9000 :
What's that saying? All work and No Play? I can relate to what you are saying. Sometimes I feel like I work non stop from start to finish. You MUST have some play time during your day. Mental health. Keeps you balanced. Keeps you happy. (((hugs)))
from boxx9000 :
Happy Birthday to YOU! Happy Birthday to YOU! Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday. Happy Birthday to YOU! I hope it's a good one. ♥

I didn't attend any of my graduations (AA/AS/BA) The only ceremony I did attend was when I received my teaching credential. I am MOST looking forward to seeing my SON graduate from college in two years. THAT will be my biggest accomplishment. His success, not mine. (getting him thru college)

from dukkha-tanha :
That was adorable! You are a great mom and he knows it. What a sweetie.=)
from boxx9000 :
How old is your son and what grade is he in at school?
from dukkha-tanha :
I have to say that I was so touched when I read the entry about the notes, and his notes are so sweet. What a cutie! I think my oldest was about 8 or 9 when I went from "Mom" to "Mommy". I only get "I love you, too" once in a while from him, and NEVER when his friends are around (then I'll get "Yeah" or something). I suppose I'm okay with it because I've got two other babies calling me Mommy and saying I love you all the time, and when they stop then I'll most likely have a big problem with it and turn into a "sMother".
from pupart12 :
hey mom me again i just want to tell you that you can give me notes in my name pupart12 so bye again love you
from pupart12 :
hey mom , its me your son keith i love reading your feelings please dont stop doing it because im here you can also leave me messages on your diary for me i will answer them if possible LOVE YOU !!!!!!! and thank <3
from dukkha-tanha :
It's complicated when you have kids and a partner who isn't their "parent". It takes a long time to get to know each other and adjust to the changes. There have been plenty of times I've divided my step kids and my kids into "MY kids" and "YOUR kids", not so much now, but a few years ago. Oh yeah and I'm writing in relation to Rick, not the stepmonster. I think it's awful that she does that to your little boy. Of course it's going to hurt him. I guess the best thing you can do is not play into it, just love him and praise him and be the best mom that you can, which you are. Even if you're "WRONG" sometimes. At least you can admit it! =)
from boxx9000 :
Irefer to my son and daughter as MINE even tho they DO have a father.
from banefulvenus :
Great entry! You're an amazing writer!
from banefulvenus :
WOW! I really appreciated you message. Thank you so much for your note. I totally relate to your heart felt message.
from boxx9000 :
I had an abortion when I was 20 (first marriage) I had been in a bad auto accident (and didn't know i was pregnant) The doctors took LOTS of x-rays of my pelvic and lower back area. When they found out I was pregnant they advised me to abort because of the radiation to the fetus. I didn't know I was pregnant because I was an exercise NUT and only weighed 98 pounds and had stopped menstruating. I had 4 miscarriages after that. I never got past the 16th week. I fianally got pregnant with my son at age 28. (EIGHT years of trying and NO birth control) I had my daughter the following year at age 29. I had another miscarriage and then I tied my tubes. I will send you FERTILE (((((vibes))) baby, baby, baby, bay, baby!
from dukkha-tanha :
Evidently, I forgot my second parentesis in there. Here it is: ) Put it where ever you'd like.
from dukkha-tanha :
All I can think of (re: the baby thing) is Marisa Tomei in "My Cousin Vinny". I had it hardcore in my mid to late twenties and ended up with two more kids (okay, so the second one was an oopsie, but I was still in full baby mode. I know how you feel. Of course, I shall never have that feeling again on account of the fact that those two babies took all that baby urge away. And the room tracker stunt there? I totally would have done the same thing. If I had a cool boss, of course. =)

What's the rush for a baby? You're NOT too old are you? What about school? What about work? What about enjoying your husband for awhile before you have to care 24/7 for a baby? However, babies ARE cute and I can't wait to be a GRANDMOTHER!
from boxx9000 :
36 & 21 is the chronological ages. WHAT are the maturity and mental ages? probably just perfect.
from shortst101 :
I miss you...and I'm sorry that I have been pretty much non existant lately. I'm still here if you need anything.
from cosmicrayola :
That entry was like, totally awesome and I'm like, so happy for you.
from dukkha-tanha :
Congrats on the new job! =)
from dukkha-tanha :
Having survived my own train wreck, I can relate to that entry. Look how far you've come, and how far you'll go. And I, for one, totally understand the kid living situation and do not judge you for it. =)
from coldandgray :
Are you making your invitations? I would love it if you posted one on here...
from boxx9000 :
Hi there! I am alive and well. I do NOT know why my diary is locked. I am trying to fix it. Your little dog is adorable! Is it house broken????? (I have issues about that)
from boxx9000 :
Oh Kristy, I am NO role model. I am the biggest loser when it comes to relationships. I wish I could figure things out for myself. Letting go of the HATE really freed me. It was such a burden to carry. I hope the two of you can find some peace. Go slow, don't expect anything from him and look out for #1.....YOU (and of course your son and your new hubby)
from digitalicat :
I agree whole-heartedly with one point... fuck what other people think. You're the one that has to look at yourself in the mirror every morning.
from boxx9000 :
I CAN'T stand my Ex for any real length of time, that's WHY we are divorced. He is a single serving friend, good in small doses. I have been with him since I turned 20 (28 years ago) he is my only family. Warts and all. I just accept him for what he is.
from less-than3 :
hahah! tonymacaroni rules! i want my programs at work to do fun stuff like that! you know, when i get a new job and all. :)
from dukkha-tanha :
I just read the entry about your ex. He sucks. I'd love to take the opportunity to punch his wife in the face, though. I hate evil step bitches who talk to their stepkids like that. >:|
from less-than3 :
YAY!
from dukkha-tanha :
Well put. Everytime I hear those right to lifers (or anyone) go off about how awful and cruel Micheal Schiavo is and how he's just after money and he just wants to wash his hands of her, all I can think is that they've never bothered to hear his side of it. I too hope that my husband would fight like that for me. Anyway, have a good weekend! =)
from digitalicat :
Hey... I remember you. It's been a while. I Googled myself tonight. Through Google's cache, I found that old Maximum Capacity thing. I was tickled. I've never forgotten you, but I did forget how to find you. :)
from dukkha-tanha :
My 35th is six months away and I find myself dreading it already. WTF?
from boxx9000 :
I have to admit that I did have a nice time with my Ex the other night. I also have to admit that his family (and him) will only conspire to make my life miserable. I will continue to NOT hate him, but I need to protect myself from him being able to hurt me. That means NO contact. It's really too bad, but I guess that is WHY we are divorced (one reason among many)
from cosmicrayola :
HAHAHAHAHA! I bite you! Hahaha. TFF!
from boxx9000 :
I actually get along well with my ex. I care about him very much, we were together for 30 years. It's only when I remind myself of all the rotten things he has done that I know I made the right decision to divorce him AND his stupid family.
from cosmicrayola :
Beautiful SUV!! If I didn't just get my new (4 year old) Echo, I might be tempted to be jealous!
from resonant :
or kicking his fat ass to long island would be great :-)
from resonant :
you know thats so funny that you said that bc i was going to post something saying if anyone lives in florida and finds a fat kid named doowop please kill him lol. what part are you from bc he is in daytona. :-D
from dukkha-tanha :
Again, awesome! I've never seen Buddhas at Walmart, but they have some killer ones at Target...I had to keep myself from picking a few up, I kind of have enough already...Nice birdcage clock! And the new vehicle, nice. I can't deal driving a vehicle with no CD player (ie; my husband's truck), which is soooo sad considering I've only had my van two years and somehow managed life without a CD player in the car before that. We play the "pretend we're poor" game with the ex (his) too...but we usually get caught (it's hard to hide the vehicles and trips and stuff all the time), not that it has any repurcussions or anything. It's fun to play "let them speculate"...Have a great day! =)
from boxx9000 :
RED is one of my favorite colors! Your walls need some art work. Maybe I better send you a housewarming present. Hooray for you.
from dukkha-tanha :
AWESOME! Loved it! That's so funny, because I had an idea for my next entry based on your entry with the pics. But that's all I'm gonna say for now, you'll just have to wait to see mine. =)
from dukkha-tanha :
I was a big Yankee candle fan until I discovered Partylite. Now Yankee is my second favorite. And I could read stuff about decorating and candles all day long. Welcome back to the internets!!! =)
from chickpea981 :
forgot to mention - you can also find it in other colors if you look around and are shopping savvy. My goth chick friend has a black one and I call it her death shroud. I've heard that if you look hard enough, you may even find the oh so ellusive purple one (If you do, LET ME KNOW!) but I hear Pier 1 is a good place to look at certain times of the years. Jesus, I sound like I'm hunting treasure. What a lame ass I am.
from chickpea981 :
You take somethign like this: http://store.buyhammocks.com/readynet.html and hang it above the bed, then use the frame to evenly dispurse how it surrounds. No tying to the frame that way and you still get the effect without bending anything. :) (I have the same netting except I got mine at IKEA for $14.95 three years ago.)
from dukkha-tanha :
I love your stuff, especially the baker's rack (damn! huge drawers!) and your entertainment center and coffee table. Can I have them? (just kidding, but I do know people that would ask that). Oh and I was oogling your cabinets before I saw what you'd written about them. I am so HGTV when it comes to stuff like that.
from chickpea981 :
8 long, 2 wide (aka over 6 around) *wink* Also, love your bed frame - that would be yummy with my mosquito netting.
from shortst101 :
Loved the pictures!! Smiles!
from shadow-box :
Enymph collects good people. Check out my poetry site, please. I wants ppl to add their own voice. It's free, no censorship, just say whatever. Ok, blessings and thank you! -Andrew http://versfication.diaryland.com
from dukkha-tanha :
That was a such sweet letter, he's a thoughtful little guy, ey? He sounds like a great kid. =)
from less-than3 :
ok, so there's an "i like mike" and an "i pick rick"...should i be doing an "i crave dave"?? hehehe.
from candoor :
when I had a dog and moved I'd move the dog and her bed and toys and everything else first and let her think it was her new home... I'd play with her there a little while, then leave as I ordinarily left telling her 'be good' and 'see you later'... then all the other stuff would be moved in and she'd be like 'its about time'... I think it's the being left behind sense that scares them most... and thanks from candora :)
from dukkha-tanha :
Good luck moving this weekend! The dog giving you the cold shoulder was hilarious. =)
from boxx9000 :
Oh, I've definitely been cheated ON. That's why I have trust issues.
from boxx9000 :
I am 49 years old and NEVER cheated on anyone. i feel so......cheated!
from dukkha-tanha :
Awesome. I loved it. You have far more experience on both sides than I do, and I really enjoyed reading your views. Lots to think about. Thank you! =)
from cosmicrayola :
It's so nice to hear you so happy. You deserve it.
from dukkha-tanha :
Yet another thing that I do not miss about the working world. Every time I'd call in sick just because I needed a mental health day, something else would happen, like deaths in the family or then the kids would REALLY get sick, and I'd end up being out MORE. Anyway. Yeah, I made up Bobby and Cindy's names. I didn't want to use their real names, and calling them "Satan's spawn one" and "Satan's spawn two" just seemed...wrong (???), no matter how accurate a description as that is. =)
from boxx9000 :
I hate calling in sick. For me that means planning ahead because I MUST prepare sub plans. I can't tell a lie, tho. It makes me feel horrible. I would have told the truth. What could they do? Fire you?
from resonant :
do things ever turn out the way we want to lol.
from e-nymph :
thank you :)
from less-than3 :
i LOVE that song. during the summer, when i was 5 years old or so, i'd go to work with my dad, and that song was HUGE back then. we'd hear it on the radio during the commute. yep. i was 5 years old, but i STILL remember the powerful vocal stylings of Sheena Easton. you know, before she got all slutty and started singing with Prince, or about "sugar walls". ok. i'm done now. ;)
from dukkha-tanha :
I loved this entry. It amazes me how you can write like you do and I can feel what you're feeling. My mom passed when I was young, so I can't relate to your experience in that way, but I could really understand how you felt just by reading it. And congrats on the 4.0. That's awesome, not an easy feat. Like Stuart Smalley said, "I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggone it, people like me!" Your ability to do so well in the face of such adversity is truly commendable. =)
from boxx9000 :
I think we have more in common than I knew. My mother was narcissistic. I am the only child out of 6 kids in my family to even graduate from HS. Earning my BA and credential has ben a great achievement for me and something I am extremely proud of. Who says it can't be done? Enjoy your A's. YOU EARNED THEM.
from less-than3 :
yay for A's!!! great job!!!
from boxx9000 :
You will learn from your professors. Because of my age when I started college (42) I had more in common with my professors than with the *kids* in my class. You just do your work, get those *A*'s and hopefully you will get to your upper divison courses soon. The 100 series classes are remediation. You can choose a more challenging English course as an elective.
from cosmicrayola :
I love me some small appliances. They're not fattening and they aren't habit forming.
from boxx9000 :
I suck at writing, too. But, I DO have other talents.
from resonant :
oh man, you could not have explained it any better! i guess i am not the only one who goes through this type of stuff!<333
from cosmicrayola :
Guy with wedding dress..... Priceless! I hope he sells it for big bucks. Might take a little of the painful edge off.
from boxx9000 :
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Congratulations!
from boxx9000 :
THANKS for the postacrd from Florida. I will add it to my collection. I will use it this summer when I do my wall display right before summer vacation with the map of the USA. Thanks again.
from cosmicrayola :
No, you were right. It is "supposed" to stand for virginity, but that's rare these days with anyone. Lol. Hey, why wear anything? I am a trekkie and in one of the Next Generation shows, one of the characters got married in the nude. Now THAT's different!
from boxx9000 :
Life is too damn short. if wearing white makes someone happy than they SHOULD do it. Who's wedding is it anyway? Is there a wedding police? I can't understand WHY anyone would want to be married. The wearing white part doesn't bother me at all.
from cosmicrayola :
Though I wore off white this time around, I would have worn white if I had wanted. I take the "White" dress as signifying the pure heart, not the body.
from dukkha-tanha :
I was just reading about someone who got married in red (dammit I wish I could remember where, but I think it was someone on dland) and it sounded really cool. I've never been into the whole wedding thing and got married at city hall myself, but the whole red wedding dress thing sounded awesome. And I really don't know why. =)
from candora :
Happy V-Day to you :)
from boxx9000 :
I used to work at a High School (teaching art) to kids in REHAB. I've heard just about every trick in the book to beat the daily drug testing. There was this joke going around about this *guy*. The story goes, "I have good news and bad news regarding you pee test. The good news is ...you passed, you're clean. The bad news is....you're pregnant!"
from cosmicrayola :
Love the new "do" too! And you are cute! I pictured you looking different. For some reason, I thought you had dark hair, lol.
from shortst101 :
love the new layout...and was so glad to talk to you on the phone the other day! HUGSSSSSSSS
from boxx9000 :
HOORAY! This is a much better template lay out with my computer. (iMac)
from less-than3 :
oooooh. purty layout!
from boxx9000 :
We are connected to some people for a reason. Whether we want to be or not. There is a reason for the connection. NO one in my Ex's family said "sorry" when BOTH of my parents died withing 6 months of each other (including my ex because he was having an affair at the time) I've never been able to forgive them. It's been 5 years.
from e-nymph :
just read your Gb entry, never got reminders that I had messages. and no, I didn't feel shunned on purpose. no worries. :) hope you're well.
from ediblmercury :
Hey! I had no idea you signed my gbook about Tracy's pic dissapearing. Sorry! It never notified me. :9 But I do still have it if you want it. Let me know. :)
from shortst101 :
Thinking of you......sorry I haven't been around.
from cosmicrayola :
Go you! Keep it up!
from boxx9000 :
Yeh, I have the school loans debt to prove how expensive a college education is. May I live so long that I actually ever get them paid off.
from less-than3 :
i totally missed the entry about your grandmother while i was away this weekend...i'm so so sorry...xox
from e-nymph :
my condolances on the loss of your grandmother, my thoughts are with you. *and yes, the password locks are still off* hope my glance doesn't upset you too much. *sending you thoughts of much happiness in your life*

from dukkha-tanha :
I'm sorry for the loss of the grandmother you never really got to know. And the fact that you were denied her. And the way your mom's family talk about her. That was such a great entry, I really felt exactly what you were feeling. I'm glad I finally added you! =)
from less-than3 :
classic stuff. my stressful moments are much like yours...
from less-than3 :
hm...some wine and some bad 70s porn -- now THAT'S a fum night. :)

from boxx9000 :
HOORAY! One week down and one week closer to graduation. keep up the good work. (I know you will) Midterms and Finals were always meltdown times for me especially with 6 all at the same time. Hopefully your classes will spread them out better???
from boxx9000 :
stronger, brighter, better, huh? I sure hope so.
from boxx9000 :
It's a mystery how it all works out, but somehow it does. I did the college thing (later in life) and worked full time with 2 teenagers and a CRAZY husband. It wasn't easy, but it got done. I graduated in May of 2003 and I've been employed as a teacher for 2 years. One day at a time. Yes, you CAN and WIll do it. The time actually FLIES by. How many years do you need? My program was 5 years.
from boxx9000 :
Shit to shrine, huh? I'll let you know the moment it happens. (I started college at age 42)
from boxx9000 :
Good luck, good luck, good luck. Please tell me what is your secret? How do you NOT have to pay tuition? I am currently paying my son's college tuition AND making monthly re-payments on my own student loans....payments will continue for 30 YEARS!!!
from rapunzal :
Happy New Year!! I would love it if you sent me a couple of suggestions for fiction that I should add onto my booklist for 2005. Afterall, no one I know reads more than you!
from cosmicrayola :
Marcia, Marcia, Marcia. Leave poor little Jan alone. If she is happy in her own little delusional land of hope, let her be. You have the fiance, you have the nice hair and you have me reading you faithfully. What does she have? Now be nice or I'll have to get that football out again.
from boxx9000 :
You know someone who is faking an engagement? That makes no sense. How sad. I can't understand why anyone would WANT to be married???? Pretend engagement, huh? What a nut case.
from less-than3 :
ah, the joy of french manicures. i've got one too, right now. my whites are actually painted on...but that doesn't mean that it lasts longer. :(
from candoor :
happy new year :)

from manda-d :
Oooo, look at the pretty finger nails :-)
from boxx9000 :
I don't know anything about the online courses at AAU. Maybe it's for the non studio courses like anatomy and art history??? At $500 -$1,000 per unit they are providing one of the best art educations available. CCAC ia another good art school here in the area.
from captainron :
I hope life is treating you well. Happy Tuesday Ron
from less-than3 :
definitely not the same at all. :)
from gothamite :
Maybe you should change jobs. I'd love some friendly cohorts.
from gothamite :
Hi there. I'm back. LiveJournal isn't all that.
from devian :
you are definately rollin' now mama! i would be honored if you'd write a review once you get it and absorb it all :) tell me how the artwork comes out too. i don't own a copy and yet to see one in person since cafepress puts it all together.
from devian :
you fucking rock! i'm so happy you're down with underground artist's. it is just great. i'll let him know because i told him i'd link him in hopes of people supporting him! he wants a cult following, so i think he is well on his way now! the one i love is called "city" i think.
from devian :
that guy is really cool. i saw him nailing up the prints in our hallway (the same ones he has online) and i asked if he sold them and he said yes, but i didn't ask how much. i was suprised at how cheap they are! you can buy them on his site through PAY PAL and he'll mail them out to you.

from shortst101 :
Kristy, Thank you for always saying the right things and for giving a shit. Your right, we have to live for today and no look to tomorrow or in the past. Today......right now, this moment......for we don't know about tomorrow......Thanks for being my friend.
from manda-d :
Here's to being "better than OK". :-)
from less-than3 :
yay for you being happy!

After all that all I can say is "WOW!" Thank you so much for that little novella in my guestbook. I think as equally high of you my dear.
from cassiopeia- :
Happy Thanksgiving--kisses, cassie
from manda-d :
OH! And he didn't wear Nikes to work either... but I'm betting he will eventually. They have give aways twice a year and they have one going on RIGHT NOW!!! They put him on the list last night, it goes by seniority, so sometime in December we should be getting some FREE loot! woo hoo for Nike!
from resonant :
i know what i do is wrong, but its just so hard i was always with him before any of this stuff i guess i just want it to be that way again and i feel like if im with him it will go back to how it used to be...
from manda-d :
Your GB entry cracked me up!!! I'll keep you posted on how many Just Do It's Jason gets!
from alice-suzie :
i'm sorry that you're passworded, i always enjoyed your diary. if you're willing could you send me the password to suzieATwordsforsnowDOTorg? thanks!
from cosmicrayola :
That ring is gorgeous!! Lucky you!
from manda-d :
Well, I'm worried if that helps at all?
from pretty-pussy :
im not quite ready to unlock my diary, but since you have me on your favorites, ill give you the password. i just need your email address to send it. [email protected]
from cosmicrayola :
I now have my new computer all set and good to go. Will you please send me the password and ID one more time? I've missed you!
from hawken :
Can I get the password if I give you $100 worth of illicit up-the'ol-kilt pictures? Awesome, hook me up then.
from lostinmylove :
Thank you. Sincerely. Thank you.
from manda-d :
It's cute (the layout). I like it.
from galaxyrabbit :
you've gotten HATE MAIL for proposing to your guy? that's ridiculous. i always thought it was kinda cool for the girl to propose to the guy. as far as the engagement-ring-buyer, i don't know her so i can't even speculate!
from ediblmercury :
I like the first two dresses the best :D !!! YAY! WEDDING!!!
from chickpea981 :
ahhh well that makes sense now and puts a lot pieces back together. Thanks for sharing.
from chickpea981 :
Ok I think I missed the part where you and the man got back together. Suddenyl I'm seeign all this wedding stuff and I'm realizing that I've missed a few entries somewhere. This is the same one that all the shit went down with and forced you to close off your diary for a while right? Not criticizing by any means... just trying to keep it all straight! You know my email if you want a less than public response to me. :)
from manda-d :
Lucky is actually our second kitty cat... we got Lenny, the first kitty about 6 months ago. Well, Lenny disappeared and for weeks we hung signs and searched for him everywhere. Well, someone called and said that found Lenny. Only it wasn't Lenny. It was Lucky. LOL. Did that make any sense? Lucky is a trooper though... he takes the kids' torture in stride. I meant to send some pictures of Jake (the pup) to work today but I forgot. He is as big as a house. And I'm certain my kids grow by the minute. I give it another year and I'll be looking up to John. The top of his head comes up to the bridge of my nose. He's 8!!! It's just not right I tell ya. Kaylee is really tall as well... that wasn't a great picture of her that I posted, but it was all I had here at work. Anyway, I'll try to be the picture taking queen this weekend. Thanks again for sending me the link to that site. You rock!
from grlscout :
Hey dude. I've got a poetry unit happening in my grade nine class - got any good poems/poets to reccomend?
from less-than3 :
what's freefind?
from burnmedeeper :
you are absolutely right about cheaters. i finally learned that i don't want him back, what i want is what we used to have. the funny thing is, is that he knows what i'm going through. He's chasing his ex, i'm chasing him. He's falling out of love with her, I'm falling out of love with him. its crazy. He knows what i'm feeling. I wish he wanted me back and not her but I can't change that. I'll just have to learn how to deal with letting that go.
from chickpea981 :
Oh don't you worry about that my dear. The favor WILL be returned. He loves eatin pussy as much as I love squeezing that ass of his.
from shortst101 :
Kristy, Thank you so much for everything. I'm blessed to have you as a friend.
from manda-d :
That letter is sad Kristy... :(
from less-than3 :
awww. your happiness is just wonderful. you deserve it. enjoy. xox.

from less-than3 :
lausage and hamburger helped out. i'm fucking hungry now. hehehe. xox
from ediblmercury :
whatever you do, DO NOT THROW RICE! Little birdies eat it and it expands in their bellies and kills them! :C
from resonant :
oh how beautifulll<333
from chickpea981 :
Lausage. ahahahhahah! Dont you love when a mistake becomes a joke and people make you feel better like that?
from resonant :
will the doves really come back?
from shortst101 :
YOu should have your wedding any way you want it!
from less-than3 :
ok. $100 for 2 doves, but you get 20 more for just $100 more? 22 doves for the price of 4!
from cassiopeia- :
You know, I still don't have the code for here...not that I am DL much these days and also I lost the # to reach you! Of course, it could still be packed up with the rest of our stuff...
from suprgoddess :
hey kristy! sorry luv. i'll be emailing you the code tonight. just trying to go incognito again, ya know... i have a feeling ry read. that's baaaaad. how come you don't come up on my messenger anymore??? hmph! :P
from less-than3 :
poured your heart out like hot chocolate...yeahhhhhh. damn! i could never say it that well....
from shortst101 :
And you know ext 6212 will come if at all humanly possible
from ediblmercury :
Yeah, haha. Usually a commited reader when I'm not too lazy to log on to DL :P Ive been slacking off of this site pretty bad since I've been in school. But when I do go to check my buddy list its yours and a couple of other people I check first and have been reading the longest. And I know exactly how you feel about missing Tracy. I think about her a lot. Every once in a while I mean to write about her on here but it just makes me so depressed and I put it aside. But I talked to her every day and told her everything, and now she's gone and there is SO much that has happened since she has died and I am always thinking "I wish I could tell Tracy about this!" It makes me so sad.
from less-than3 :
i'm so superhappy for you, you know that?
from ediblmercury :
I dont really have to give you 100$ for the password do I? Because I would if I was rich....but Im pretty damn poor :/
from shortst101 :
I feel happy oozing off of you <SMILES>
from superkc :
Duh! I'm at superkcATadelphia.net
from superkc :
Great news to hear! Everyone will be so pleased! Hey lady, while I'm here could you pass me your password? I wanted to ask you, but I didn't have your e-mail address (and of course, the brainiac that I am, I didn't think of asking in your notes!)
from resonant :
im so happy for you!!<333

from shortst101 :
holy crap, you did it last night???? I thought you were waiting until tonight! YAY for you and YAY for him!
from less-than3 :
???
from less-than3 :
good luck, hon.
from grlscout :
I know it's hard hon, but the doctor may be right. It's rough but you might just have to move on here, and moving on can sometimes be a wonderful thing (yeah, look who's talking here, I know. But I'm looking foreward to that day when everything looks a tiny bit sunnier). Phoning him is obviously something that just wears you down though, and you know that. Honestly Kristy, the guy should be chasing you down, not the other way around, but since he isn't - just don't chip away at yourself too much, that's all. It's harder than hell to let go of a love - but it's not all over - loves tend to get exponentially better. At least that's what I'm hoping for.
from non-descript :
Quickly, this iPod is becoming my sixth appendage. As such, I'll be hanging onto it. How could I not? *grin*
from pretty-pussy :

from manda-d :

from shortst101 :
You hang in there Kristy. Things will get better, one way or another. You are finding your way. Hugs
from chickpea981 :
Baby, if I knew the answer the that one I wouldn't have to keep starting over with new men. I don't think anyone is really ever worth fighting for but I also think there are very rare exceptions to this rule. As for Chef, well we left it like adults and no one is hurt. Maybe he and I can talk later, but I wouldn't count on it. I like what I got from him and he broke me free of a lot of old patterns. Take what you can from the relationsips. Learn the pieces you can and then walk away a better person. But fighting for someone who caused you pain is not worth it. You need to work on you right now. You admire me for being who I am no matter what - do the same for yourself. Say it your self: "I am what I am" xoxo
from chickpea981 :
OK, thanks for the comment and all, but what exactly would I be fighting for? Feelings based on sex. Based ona false hope that he would care. Why would I waste more of my effort in someone who doesnt make any effort for me and immediately told my friend whom he's never met that we were over. He had mor ecompassion telling her that he wouldn't get to see her than he did for us ending. He doesn't give a fuck, why should I?
from cassiopeia- :
Christie, I have no voice, it is shot. I will call you tomorrow to say hi and check in on you! ~Sandy
from captainron :
Can I have your new password? Please????
from less-than3 :

from manda-d :
I'm not worthy of your password... this makes me trulysad :(
from cassiopeia- :
My husband is presently on the phone talking to an owner whos property has been distroyed by the hurricane...we have ten total like that and it is crazy here right now!

from cassiopeia- :

hahaaa!!! :D that voodoo was too funny girl! *thinks* ehh, i think i've met my voodoo quota though throwin' down with my ex. ha! i think i'll just kill her with kindness...for now. heehee.
from suprgoddess :
sorry I haven't been around, girl...been working late and dealing with my friggen ex. call me in the evenings around eight or nine PST, if you can. {{{{{kristy}}}}}
from grlscout :
Good luck Kristy - I hope things turn out ok for you. Email me sometime if you like ([email protected]) Stay true. xoxo Scout
from grlscout :
Oh Kristy, I'm so upset that you have to go through all this. It's so unfair - you know you deserve a good relationship with a person who has his shit together and a family you love. You are going to get through all this kid, you are. The whole R thing might not work out & if it doesn't, that doesn't mean there isn't a whole set of better circumstances in your future. My heart is just broken for you right now and I know it all seems so bleak, but all the stupid men in the world can't take your heart away from you. What was that quote from Adaptation - you are what loves you, not what loves you back. Keep the faith sweetheart. I'm thinking of you.
from cleanstart :
Please reconsider what your thinking of doing. You know that their are families that for medical reasons can't have a child.... you can give this child up to a loving family that can and will care for it Christy. As you stated in your previous entry, don't be selfish. I am not trying to sound harsh at all, I am just wanting to be honest with you and let you know that there are other options out there other than abortion. Please e-mail me if you want to talk.... [email protected] And I'd love to have your use/pw if you lock! HUGE HUGS~~
from grlscout :
Wow - I am so impressed with your totally unapologetic honesty! I think that's really cool - people take advantage and manipulate the situation to suit their own purposes - good for you for putting your foot down. Real friends wouldn't put you in a position like that in the first place. Real friends think about how you might actually, realistically feel about things before they involve you in their bullshit. Sounds like you've made the distinction. Keep on that road, it's a good one.
from less-than3 :
woo hoo staffing!!! i'm an admin asst in a legal staffing firm, and making the transition to staffing coordinator...oh wait...you read my diary, so you probably already know this...but anyway...YAY for staffing. i love it. i'll keep my fingers crossed for you. xox

from shortst101 :
Kristy, YOU are going to be okay, everything is going to be okay. I hope you don't leave here because you do have people here that care about you. ME! I'm praying that things with R work out.
from grlscout :
Hey Doll, sorry that you have guestbook-dorks again. They really plague you, don't they? I'm locking my journal again in about a month or so - you should do the same, so that only your friends are reading & things don't get all silly (like you don't have enough on your plate!) Hope you're doing well. :: Hug from Scout
from cleanstart :
HUGS - HUGS and more HUGS~~~ I am sorry that you have some idiot harassing you, but you know what? Ignore them and continue with your writing. I think you are doing a wonderful job expressing yourself. No one, NO ONE has a flawless life and I commend you for being brave enough to admit it. I have you and R in my prayers!!
from cassiopeia- :
Please stay in touch...kisses, cassie
from less-than3 :
yikes. i've been away, and missed a lot, it seems. i hope you are hangin' in. xox.
from suprgoddess :
my thoughts and prayers are with you today, sweetie. the DA and all the other officials and advocates seem so removed from intensity the decisions made today will have. it's all protocol and legality...and you just end up wondering if there was any justice in any of it at all. if i could hug you right now, know i would. *hugs* you're doing alright, girl. both you and i know that 911 call always gives others greater control over your life. after that, it's all about accepting the realities. i still believe that circumstances like this can make relationships stronger. i'll always believe that if the love was truly there, it will surmount this obstacle and find a way. bless your heart sweetie. ~~~<@
from cleanstart :
I'm sorry to hear about your job loss. And I want to give you a pat on the back for the way you handled it, having an interview the same day with such limited outside access is awesome. Good luck in your job search!! HUGS~

3 HOURS, not days
from chickpea981 :
you know, I've been straying away from leaving you notes about this situation with your BF. I think its because it brings a flood of memories of my ex beating me up and I never get all the way through an entry of yours. I'ts taken me 3 days to read about the attack. I just read about the packing up of his thigns with a note. Jesus, it makes me remember everything. I couldn't just leave, I had to stay with him for 2 months till a roommate was found to replace me. My life fell apart. I hated him for everything and loved him just the same. I don't know if there's a point to this rambly note except to say that in a way I feel your pain and your love for him.
from chickpea981 :
darlin you're gonna make me blush!
from resonant :
to tell you the truth, i love the advice that you give me. not only is it true, but you make me feel "not wrong" about my situations. also, i am the same way about giving advice, i am so well at giving it to people, but for some reason i just can't seem to follow it myself! thank you and dont stop giving your advice!
from chickpea981 :
I don't leave you enough notage or guestbookage. I just read your quickie entry about giving a fuck - that sounded so much like me. I read your notes and they always leave me thinking. Your newest one: thank you for respecting me. I learned a long time ago that it's just bad for the mind and soul to hold thigns back. You openly risk a lot when you just up and say it, but I think you risk even more by holding things inside. Just like that guy who just flat out asked to fuck you. I guess I'm a little rambly, but what's the point of holding back? Anyway, thanks for the continued notes.
from cosmicrayola :
Whatever it is, I hope it gets better or goes away.

I just ran across you... A morning's random find. You're worth spending the afternoon on... [Excellent book recommendations, too... esp. "Christopher"] I'll be exploring your entries... And returning here often.
from less-than3 :
wow...
from chickpea981 :
Wow! Thanks so much for adding me and leaving such a great message in my guestbook. You make me chuckle at that labia comment. And about the guys reading... well if you ever get into the archives you'll find out how hard I tried to keep myself 100% honest when Cowboy and I were together and he read everything I wrote. But now I just don't care. It's my diary and I'll write what I want to! Fuck cushioning the blow. I prefer to deliver it with a smile. Thanks again for adding me. I'll be checking you out too.
from ubergrrl :
You're a sweetie. I love you too. :) I also love all the books...rock on! I am a total readaholic lately too...
from ubergrrl :
I'm totally with you on the coffee thing... damn carbs and fat. Even if you get breve, it still has too many carbs in it for my liking, and too much fat. I go with Americanos now... sugar free syrup or just splenda..and a couple tablespoons of half and half. I've grown to like americanos a lot (espresso and water) either iced or hot. Mmm... But yeah, I always laugh at the skinny ho's who order the Venti no-whip skinny mochas. Dumb chicks.
from suprgoddess :
just a note to let ya know i stole yer acronym quiz! :P
from suprgoddess :
*hugs* you're not alone.
from candora :
reading back a few entries, I find tears of understanding stream from my eyes and I offer a hug of comfort and unconditional love... and a smile of hope that you smile too :)
from suprgoddess :
tell it girrrl...i love this entry. :P
from neon7c :
please don't be offended by the term "stranger" -- it's just a shorter way of saying "my d-land friends, most of which i have never met in person, and all the random people who find my diary by googling for 'emo quizzes', as opposed to my family and people i knew pre-diaryland." yeah. it's a mouthful. hence "stranger". xox
from suprgoddess :
aw...thank you for adding me! :D you rock, too.
from grlscout :
Sorry that we had to beat your hockey team last night, but, you know how it is, you gotta kick some Stanley Cup ass every once in awhile! Hey, glad you are feeling a little better - I know how it sucks to feel all down and trod-upon, and how good it feels to emerge & get your head above water again too. Good for you for channelling your energies into your writing!! I'll be looking for your advice when I write my poetry unit this summer!! ;)
from shortst101 :
Hugsssssssssssssss, you know I'm here if you need to talk.

I just discovered your diary and I really enjoyed reading. You're a great writer, just thought I would say "hi". I'll keep reading..

happy birthday!!! Sounds like you are going throught the whole early thirties cosmic shift that pretty much everyone I know (including me) is going through - though with considerably more on your particular plate. You're one strong motha though (quite literally) & you sound like you're figuring it all out. Hope you have a lovely day. Make sure to take some time for yourself! ;)

This is a test. (beep) This is a test of the Emergency Valentine's Day System. (EVS) This test is to see if leaving notes around DLand will make this a wonderful day in spite of not particularly being with anyone romantically at the moment. (ummm) May the results be that all this love in my heart found some productive use. (smile) And maybe a giggle or few (PS... I've been bleeding ink forever :)

not candor, he was here first, but candora and a few others are me... I am candor over at LiveJournal though (it's my name, wear it out :)
from devian :
carlie's story broke me, too. my boyfriend was less than compassionate and said: "well, what did you think was going to happen?" i said well, you never know--they found that one girl alive! we lived through the horrible danielle van dam ordeal and it hurts me to see something similar happen again. it really creeps me out that you found a sexual preditor that you KNOW! good god. i feel sorry for his daughter. i hope he doesn't hurt her or his child on the way. i wish there were harsher sentences for sexual preditors (rapists, child molestors). the death penalty and lethal injections are WAY too soft for them. i want a stoning or something more drawn out.
from candoor :
sometimes I have no words worth writing, at least not in my mind, so I read others, like yours, and feeling inspired and then I want to say something inspiring or thankful back to you and find I have no words worth writing, at least not in my mind, so I resort to a *hug* which is meant to, in the absense of more meaningful words, say thank you for writing, and the best I can do is hope you understand the time passing through silence, or silence passing through time...
from grlscout :
Ugh, your guestbook hates me. I had left you a note about Judy Blume, how much I heart her too and alerting you to her very fabulous (and charmingly low-tech) website: www.judyblume.com/. Glad your job is going well!!! Have a great weekend! ;) Scout

How'd the interview go?? The reason I ask you about Catherine Guess is because she is kin to my husband and we just found out. She's going to come over to our house tonight and bring me signed copies of her books. I'm kinda excited! LOL

Ya, what cleanstart said! It is YOUR diary. write for YOU and the hell with the rest. Well, cleanstart wouldn't have said that part, but you get my message.

Keep writing and ignore any negativity you receive. These people/This person has nothing better to do with their life, so they interrupt yours. Laugh at em and move on.

You are exactly right, pushing is entirely different that punching someone. Neither should be taking place with people that "LOVE" one another. They are both wrong any way you look at it. Good Luck with everything!

from devian :
if someone were to say that it was OK to have sex in the same room as a child, they are aiding in the destruction of our children. it sickens me that anyone would condone such activities. karma is such a bitch, though.
from seedpod :
I just want to say that I wish that an adult- not even a parent- just an adult- had cared for me and my well being, mental, physical and sexual when I was a child the way you so passionately care for your child. Sometimes it pays to be willing to see the 'most' damage that can come from a situation when it involves your child- because you can always back down later when you have more facts and calm. But what if something worse had happened and you had done nothing- or said merely, 'Oh I don't think your father would have ever done that/meant to hurt you/embarass you/make you feel bad.' Do you know the feeling that lives inside a person for their whole life when their concern and pain is brushed aside by an adult? (I'm saying this to the people who've obviously hurt you in this situation by not supporting you.) The only thing I will say is that you don't need to say bad things( wrong choice of words but can't think of the right phrase right now) about them- their lack of understanding says it all.
from manda-d :
*Snicker* You're so clever ;)

I love poetry, so guess as to what I think of your diary. I enjoy both your design and entries. To put it bluntly, you rock me like a hurricane.

yeah, nerve.com rocks! i would dig some more later tonight for some haikus :) *huggles*
from pocket5 :
what a therapist said to you, about how you shouldn't be doing as well as you are now, that's something my mom and my family believe about her too. she should be dead/in jail because of her history. and considering all her drugs/alcohol/cigarettes/you name it she was taking, her three children could have been SO deformed. like retardation, conjoined twins, anything. so sometimes that's what we have to hold onto: knowing that we've surpassed the limit. that we've didn't even test the waters, dove right in, and made it out all right. doesn't mean we're perfect, but it's something, it's something to keep us going.
from neon7c :
eh. i KNEW because i read his entry on tiramisu. heehee.
from perceptionss :
Yes, Chuck is like a sacred lamb. He may write very well, but he's just a living breathing human like us:) Booby
from pocket5 :
too many of your entries have had "Bucky" shining like a silver star through your darkest of nights that i never imagined his light dimming if you temporarily lost your way. as you said, other people may be misunderstanding, but you know what's true, and that's what matters to now and to you.
from pocket5 :
awww :)
from perceptionss :
Kristy, thanks for taking the time to write such a kind note. You don't make me nervous but you do inspire me:) Take care of yourself and keep "hammering away on the computer." Booby
from perceptionss :
Everytime you write me such a kind note, I think of you and your bright smile. Thank you very much Kristy:) Love, Booby
from pocket5 :
that's awesome that you were able to to write a nice big entry about all the positive aspects of your life. more people need to think about that stuff. go you.
from lagrimitas :
hehe, and my family called me nuts when I made the Frito Pie, you should if ever you try, substitute the original fritos with the chili flavored ones....yummy!!!!! (too bad I don't eat chili anymo =( dang it) By the way lovely entries....*HugZzZ*
from lostflame :
thank you for your kind words :) take care
from garyhoare :
Yep. I got the money order a couple of days ago and sent out your book today. Thanks so much.
from pocket5 :
thankies
from brad-c :
MAN you have a lot of favourite diaries. A grand total of one person has listed me as a favourite. But I'm fairly new to this diary thing, so I'll just keep telling myself that in time someone will appreciate the mindless crap I write about.
from mandypandy83 :
Sorry, didn't notice I had screwed that up. Sorry you don't read what I do write anymore.
from kateso :
i can't seem to access your diary anymore---404 not found or something like that. do you know why? weird.
from shortst101 :
You sound better today.....i'm glad.
from neon7c :
amen sistah! i need somone to be my reason too....*sigh*
from lizzymay :
no matter what..depressed or not..your words ring a certain truth everyday.
from garyhoare :
Who's Bucky???
from mydalliance :
yes, that's dallas. wow. i didn't think anyone would recognize. neat.
from livingwreck :
Thanks heaps. It's just so hard to do.
from neon7c :
laughter. so important. lord knows i don't get enough. i'm glad you got some. (((HUGS)))
from geezo :
Sorry the pics are gone, poe. I just didn't want you to ruin any more panties, ya know? My conscience was working on me.
from captainron :
I'm glad you don't have a barn... If I were rich, I'd fix things for you financially... Me too. Unfortunately we play the hand we are dealt. You do OK with yours, considering the cards..
from captainron :
Sometimes love does arrive like a cement truck. You welcome the sureness until you realize you are encased in cement with no way out. Better to arrive like the touch of a butterfly, light and unsure until it grows into something beautiful and with wings that can take you both higher than should be possible. Hang in there... The financial mess will be over in two more days. so will lots of the stress. My guess is the migrane disappears then too.
from azure-bijou :
OMG, that entry was so sad. I was very disturbed. I don't think she's talking about herself though. I went to read a few more of her entries and she talks about one of her friends "jenifer", so I think she's written it about her...and she talks about herself as always having been tall and skinny...What we need to do is find out about if jenifer has a diary...how awful!
from geezo :
WHAT?!? Are you castin' garlic on my drawing skills? I worked on that for HOURS--in the dead of night, of course. I'll have you know that only a true Goth can conjure a masterpiece like that in a single night! Bah, nonbelievers....
from chasingastar :
hey babe. I think you might be right about the second planner...it was $12.95!! the colourful one was free with my student card, but I decided I'd like two, and I couldn't resist the elegance of the black one. Sheesh.
from lostplatypus :
Hey - thanks for signing my guestbook! Sorry to step on your Starbucks toes. I do tend to exagerate just a taaaaad, but I still HATE to spend $4.25 for coffee. I don't know why because I'll blow money left and right on other (probably more ridiculous) things. I must say, though, that when you're buying a cup for you and a friend/spouse/whoever, it does seem goofy to spend nearly $10 on sharing a cup of coffee. Where on earth did you find a $10 coffee pot????? I'm THERE. I really hated to buy the new one. Thanks again for visiting! I'll be back to your page plenty!
from lizzymay :
Hey, thanks for the trick..& I love the cool music too that you've added.
from geezo :
Well, I'd like nothing better than to rip the latest "reality" craze, American Idol, to bloody screaming shreds; I'm sure it deserves the treatment. But in order to preserve my remaining sanity, I have succeeded in avoiding the show entirely. And by the way, I am proud of you for doing the same.
from britneypink :
Fabulous stuff...and I can learn from it too.
from pocket5 :
"This time I will love halfway until he catches up to the middle." -if only love was controllable like that. then again, who would we be in this evergrowing apathetic world if some people didn't know the true meaning of lost love?
from lizzymay :
hey, thanks for the note..you are fabulous..as always..and the things you let us know...I like that.
from neon7c :
hey girl. how do you react when you get a bunch of nasty-talkers in your guestbook? (not d-landers, but just randoms)...recently this has started happening to me, and i'm just wondering if it has to you, and how you deal with it...
from inarticulate :
Yeah...okay, the idea is when you're trying to write a book, it's not terribly useful to think about it in those terms--it's too big. Instead of trying to write a whole BOOK, just start with something small, one thing, such as a single image. To remind herself of this idea, she keeps a one-inch picture frame on her desk. She tells herself to write only what will fit in that picture frame. This is all in her book about writing called BIRD BY BIRD, which I'm reading now. I like it--if you haven't read it, check it out.
from e-nymph :
YAY!!!! 'gotta get through this' has been on my win amp for months.(sara my english goddess had me download it when it hit the clubs). *huge grin* i love it,love it,love it. he's part of a huge show here on the 19th- even if i can get tickets and get the night off i can't find anyone who wants to go. it's him, shaggy, p. diddy, avril lavine, mario, michelle branch,o town, and bb mack. all proceeds going to aids research. :)
from thisisjohn :
thanks for the compliment. by the way. your image is still on my server. and i still have server priveleges, i just took off the picture and changed the diary around so its easier to read. peace.
from geezo :
Okay, fair enough. Check my revised Ozzy vs. People entry and see if it's more to your liking now. Thanks!
from shortst101 :
OMG...hahahhaha, I just read what you wrote in MP's guestbook. THAT was great.......damn woman you have a way with words!
from geezo :
Thanks for the note! I especially liked the Ozzy / Tim Conway comparison. Haha, brilliant!
from shortst101 :
Yep, you should work on your Haiku site. I put a few on there a while back, but I noticed today it hasn't been visited in quite some time. Hmmm, I'll fix that.
from shortst101 :
You doing okay??? And yes you are right, I know that I'm just trying to run and hide and "pretend" things are better, I know that it will all fall apart, like it always does....Ohhhh, and the only way I want any olives is if they are in a VERY STRONG DRINK.
from livingwreck :
Thank you.
from e-nymph :
that background was cool! my computer on the other hand sucks cock. so freaking slow at links sometimes you were off before i could reply. getting ready to post a sappy girly poem, no sex, no raw power...just sappy. enjoy.
from onemoredub :
You're right...
from emobeatdown :
can you believe how dumb i am? thanks for the note.
from theshivers :
ps...that was a good joke...
from theshivers :
i havent been avoiding the question (OK, well maybe just a bit)...for now I'll remain mysterious...but perhaps someday (if you even still care by then) I shall reveal my Paul-lovin' self....x0x0~S
from upfromashes :
Write to me at [email protected] and I'll send you the url to my real journal, k?
from theshivers :
no, you'll have to eat papers and run through ski lifts a la James Bond...it's all very secret-spy (my identity, that is)...but maybe, maybe, oh maybe just maybe if you can tell me what washed-up now-dead '70s pop star Westerberg was unfavorably compared to at a recent gig....then...*maybe*...hee
from theshivers :
"Sometimes I wish I could start all over knowing everything I know now. " I know that feeling all to well...as for those Westerberg pics, they are highly top-secret. People must pass rigorous exams before seeing said highly-classified photos....x0x0~Super Spy Shivers....
from softwhisperz :
your poems are... amazing. *softwhisperz*
from shortst101 :
Also, I wouldn't even ask you for gas money....
from shortst101 :
Freezer Jam consists of strawberries, sugar, pectin and water, you crush the strawberries, drown them in sugar, then you boil pectin for 1 minute and pour into strawberry/sugar mixture, stir well and pour into jars. EASY EASY!
from shortst101 :
LOL, I can do that, I'm only a couple hours from there....(Charlotte here)
from wild-heart :
Hi there...I'm around but just barely...ha! Thanks for the note.
from shortst101 :
I thought you knew where I was from. Where in NC is "him"??
from candor :
It doesn't matter if you're wrong. But you're right, so it matters. :)
from http :
Thank you for giving me a chance despite our aesthetic differences. The more I think about it, I think the actual difference is one between the relative merits of invocation and evocation... and I think we can both agree that that's a debate that can go on forever. As for my list of favourite diaries, every single one of them is someone who I know in Calgary and see on a regular basis. I use diaryland more as a method to communicate with my friends than anything else.
from thisisjohn :
what if what if... i am my own worst enemy.
from http :
My friend Mike (mdaines, on here) designed it for me. I like it a lot.
from lifeonhold :
youve always told me how cool your bosses are. in personal emails. written from home. where it really counts.
from lifeonhold :
we need a support group. you and i are in the same boat. what in the hell are we going to do? i talk to other boys and everyone just pales. i think about dating and i think why? my soulmate came to me. and then he went. i met my match already. do we get two tries in life?
from lifeonhold :
well damn. make me cry why dont you!
from wendidarling :
Those shoes only get worn on special occassions. They're my opera shoes :)
from e-nymph :
hey babe, talk dirty works if i'm online if not it's a no go. ;)
from e-nymph :
did that entry leave you tongue tied or speechless? i've said it before, blue eyed boys will be the death of me...esp. intelligent ones. ;) yummy. lol. :)
from wendidarling :
Isn't it just as well you can't get to some of those older entries? I may just leave it like that, hahaha. But I tried and tried to fix that dang left shoe and just won't go back...oh well.
from lifeonhold :
i do hate this stupid technology. not that his site is interesting to anyone but me. all he does is go to random web design sites and talk about the design. but sometimes he says oh i am going out of town, or i am going to the movies, or something about his personal life and it is the only way i know anything about his life so i hang onto to these words like they are my sustenence and they absolutely fuel me and this is such a sickness. so to you, his site would be such a yawn. "blah blah i went to webmonkey and i find his color scheme to be lacking and the aesthetics of greyscale arent up to par..." its boring boring. but its all i have and it is mine. it is a sickness.
from lifeonhold :
im too scared to give anyone his site. he has all these scripts running that give him referral stats and info on who visits and where they go next and where they are from and all this stuff and i just fear that someday, someone might someday lead him back to me. here. at diaryland.
from e-nymph :
different rain is beautiful. yeah love is all those things and the confusion it creates as well...all of those things make when it's real worth it.
from ihatepop :
in reply i say, it takes two to make a whole, and imagine you would have never seen the helicopter if you for that moment werent where you were, could you imagine being anywhere else...? i like your writting (ive only read one) its not dressed up, its honest, and that in it self says alot.
from e-nymph :
yeah i did that just for you. ;p lol. posting 'birthday gal' on 2/23 when i turn 34. ;)
from heartshaped :
hello. <3
from loser8720 :
i like you, your awesome, if you get a chance read some of my stuff and tell me what you think
from lifeonhold :
thanks for the advice. i am just so confused.
from e-nymph :
thank you sweetie. :) i love that dress.
from ktothac :
Awww.. I {heart} you. You're completely real.
from ninepoems :
Good morning! Hey, I think you should check out my friend Courtney's diary (mudd47.diaryland.com). She's a fantastic writer and has some interesting stuff to say. As if you don't have enough to read! Sorry I haven't gotten back to you since you last wrote, things have been rather messed up lately in my camp. Take care!
from upfromashes :
The Jalapeno says hello. :)
from zephyrangel :
I feel the emotion pouring from your entries. I express similar emotions in my own entries, though there aren't many. I've run away from my mentality somtimes, and I like to write about it. I like to write poetry, it's like a song with words simply said. You are truly...hehe, poetic.
from wendidarling :
Of course you have lots to say, you're a bona fide thing-sayer, as far as I'm concerned. I have lots of thoughts, ideas, but I can never bring them together (on a daily basis) in the fantastic way that you seem to. That is why I'll always be a devoted reader.
from thisisjohn :
to be honest, i dont even feel like i write them. they are words wandering my heart and mind. and they just come out when i let them. there is so much more. i could write for days on end, had i the time. just listen to your heart. that foolish foolish heart. =)
from lowpayne :
there will be 501 followers before the coming of............... you are #4. low.
from ninepoems :
Another note from me. So soon too. But I just wanted to say that I agree almost completely with your hopes for the Grammy's excluding two... I've got to pick U2's Elevation over DMB's Space Between out of loyalty to my man Bono, and on Best Alternative Album pick, I literally cannot choose between Radiohead, Bjork, and Tori. All three are so worthy in my opinion. If Coldplay wins I'll shoot myself. Also...I'm very happy to see Ryan Adams nominated ;-) yum yum delight for the ears. Yesterday when I left work I went and ran errands and couldn't stop listening to "When The Stars Go Blue," the entire time I was out.
from ninepoems :
My sign is in color and huge. Therefore people will not miss it. Perhaps if I made a sign saying what you thought would be good... they'd really get the point! Have a good day :-)
from antny :
SInce you said to save it, I will. However, and please ignore the fact that you wiser in your years than I, I offer not advice, but an observation. "We choose not who we fall in love with, but we choose who we love." I am one of those people that would like to swallow others pain and digest into some sort of manageable form, but I cannot do that. Time is a killer, and the only healer.
from ninepoems :
Shopgirl was kewl! Can't wait for the movie :-)
from antny :
sorry to intrude, but i found you via e-nymph. I love the your last entry (the tell off). and you are so right. I have to deal with people like that guy on a daily basis. jee-sus.
from upfromashes :
