Hi, I just recently joined your Bowling4soup ring, but I noticed that the picture's link is invalid. I know you haven't updated your diary in a while, but I thought I would tell you anyway. If you have hosted your image on diaryland and your gold membership expired, might I suggest using www.imageshack.us to host your images. Your membership will not expire there.
from ruachadonai :
Linda, I was doing a yahoo search on IP banning and came across your diary. Could you tell me how you are able to IP ban someone on diaryland. I'm sorry to bother you but this is very important. Thank you for any help you can give.
from my-solitaire :
Clay looks so sexy *rubs hands* can't wait to see your "changes" you speak of!
from my-solitaire :
Do let me know when you open up that clay fansite -_^
from mellieemo :
Hahaha, funny story about your diary! I know I have mine floating around here (luckily they have tiny combination locks, but I mean, how easy would it be to bust one of those?) So I'll be re-reading them and laughing at something dumb or juvinile I wrote. I'll want to read it to John; I'll be reading away and get to a part that I forgot about. So I just skip over it and hope he doesn't notice. Haha...I'm sure he does though.
from supermom3604 :
What a bum. I have a mail carrier who doesn't attempt to deliver packages either, but my mailbox is at the end of the road because the postal service doesn't go down dead end streets. So I'm sure he (or she, I've never seen the person) doesn't want to drive the extra 150 feet to my house. Don't they make a lot of money? I want to be a mail carrier.
from mellieemo :
Old diaries are the best! I have diaries that go back to when I was 13. How far back do yours go? I keep saying that once I become an old lady and know I am going to die, I'll have to burn them all or something. Hahaa
from thecrankyone :
I know the feeling. I look at the picture on my wall of the brightly smiling bald headed 11 month old baby, who thought everything was amazing and who wanted Hooked on Phonics when he was three, and wonder how on earth he ever got replaced by a 5" 4"3/4 boy with bigger feet than his dad, a boy who talks like he is 16, and can hook electronics and figure out mechanical things like he was born with a calculator in one hand, and a schematic drawing in the other. It doesn't seem like its been that long..
from supermom3604 :
I'm SOOO with you on the ornaments. My tree doesn't have any either. I have a three year old and a two year old. Why would I make that much work for myself?
from just-m :
Hey, no problem! I, too, am addicted to that show! It doesn't hurt that John the Gardener is uber-cute, though!! I used to love him (or, if you want to get technical, love WATCHING him) on the soap Passions.
from irisheyes70 :
Is that the show on ABC? I found out I have a distant relative on that show. Donahoe is their name. They were the diary farm family from upstate New York. My aunt married their uncle. Does that make sense? It was interesting to hear the inside scoop on that show. They do a creative job with their editing! And I never got around to watching it! I wonder if they've been on yet?
from goingloopy :
Of course you can be my best friend. I think everyone should have as many best friends as possible. :) And does that mean I get to come over and eat meat with gravy in a worcestire (I'm sure that's spelled wrong, but I'm way too lazy to be looking that up) marinade???
from supermom3604 :
Blah. The election. I have noticed a bit of Diaryland snubbing myself, and you know what? PFTHTHTHTHT. Whatever. It shouldn't make that big of a difference. I still love ya.
from janie12975 :
I am shocked that people would still be sore about the election! You know, I read some diaries that were pretty vocal in their opinions, ones I disagreed with, but that's their right. I still read them. Ugh. People.
from xnavygrrl :
I'm afraid I'm one of the guilty who've not been replying back. Would you forgive me if I brought up the fact that you do not LOOK almost forty. You go girl!!
from xinashadowx :
thanks for your response... : ) ~Ally~
from xinashadowx :
Hey! Your name caught my attention since I'm a HUGE Clay Aiken fan, so I thought I'd leave you a note. Read a couple of your entries, and I have to say I like your style a lot. : ) The entry where you saw Clay's book in Target cracked me up. LOL! I did the exact same thing when I saw it..... I'm rambling....sorry!! ~Ally~
from supermom3604 :
I'm sorry you are feeling overwhelmed. I know how you feel, believe me. I don't have any words of wisdom, seeing as how I am still just as overwhelmed as you are, but I wanted to tell you that there are plenty of people who know how you feel. (((hugs)))
from cutielatina :
hiya! I bought the Clay Aiken Christmas CD the other day, love it,but when I was at Wal-Mart last night, looking at the new Clay Aiken book, hubby was jealous and said, why don't you marry him then!? LOL I said, I will then.LOL Had to share that Clay moment with you.Cuidate...
from pashiesplace :
OMGosh. If you can handle home daycare I bow to your amazingness, LOL. I could never, EVER do it. Hugs.
from whatloveisnt :
I wondered my way here thru supermom. I have to say I really like your diary. Have a great day!
from my-solitaire :
Gotta love that big lots!
from supermom3604 :
I have been known to put my kids to bed at 6:00. When I just can't take it anymore.
from goingloopy :
I agree...if you're not venting here, someone else is gonna get it in person. But your password is easy, chickie, and of course we want to read you. And I want an Eggnog Latte. Too late in the day, though...I have delayed caffeine reaction...I'd still be tired for the next four hours and then awake at 3 am.
from nascarwidow :
Thanks! I agree that this is the place for us to unload. For me it is extremely necessary. It's what gets me through the worst days without tearing my kids heads off. You've got to do what's best for you at sometime, so let it be here and to hell with everyone else!
from janie12975 :
Now I feel bad for not asking for a password. I must have missed the entry where you offered it! (((Hugs))) As for people reading diaries, I googled my X and his fiancee's name and my diary came up like 3rd or 4th entry. So hard to be careful because when it comes down to it, it's your diary, and you want to be able to vent and say what you want and need to say.
from irisheyes70 :
Vent away! That's what diaries are for. We're not perfect. Sometimes we need to vent about people that drive us nuts so we don't say or do something we'd regret. ;-) I hope you can unlock soon. *hugs* Oh, and happy Clay Day!
from thecrankyone :
Warren loved the Incredibles. There is very little profanity, and most of the violence is of cartoon nature. Normally Warren judges a movie by how many car chases/crashes and or explosions there are, but he loves Pixar movies so far. I thought it was a great movie too.
from goingloopy :
Thanks for adding me...I have done the same. I love your template. :) I have a fetish (well, that's probably extreme, but to hell with it) for bright colors on white. Had I but the money, it would be my house....sigh.
from xnavygrrl :
Girl, you are hilarious...I had such a good time reading your archives. I'm adding you to my favorites.
from nascarwidow :
I hope you're doing okay. I finally have things together enough to start catching up with my online friends. Take care!
from my-solitaire :
Lol that is gross but awesome!
from cassiopeia- :
please join this ring also, stolenhonor: Watch the entire Stolen Honor documentary on-line. See the video John Kerry doesnt want you to see. http://www.stolenhonor.com/
from my-solitaire :
Awwww sorry about your hair! It can't look that bad *smiles* I'm not sure what I'm going to be...for halloween....
from pashiesplace :
Try using something like head & shoulders on it. It's pulls out color.
from thecrankyone :
I'm so sorry for your family's loss. He sounds like a great person to know. I will say a prayer for your family... (((Hugs)))..
from my-solitaire :
I'll pray for the family, I hope you're doing okay *hugs*
from my-solitaire :
10G's!! Holly Shit... must be nice.
from supermom3604 :
I didn't know it was your birthday yesterday! Happy [belated] birthday Linda!
from thecrankyone :
Yeah Warren's previous school tended to over react to things like that too. Just this morning I nearly had an anxiety attack when I got a message that the school had called and needed me to call back right away (in the past that always meant something bad), I nearly had a heartattack only to find out they just needed my permission to give him some Tylenol, cause he was complaining of a headache.. I nearly collapsed. But yeah I've been thru the stupid suspensions and crap.. I hear ya
from my-solitaire :
I have a marathon of notes going on now... I have trouble finding your gbook (if you have one) but anyways I was going to say that being put on the backburner does suck, and unfortunately it's happened to me more times then I can count! Don't sweat it though people do get busy, try not to read to much into it but if it keeps happening confront the friend!
from my-solitaire :
You sound like you should be writing a book because you're very detailed with your words, kind of like hemmingway... just don't kill yourself like he did ;) I wish it hadn't rained here in forver, but lets face it, There has been 4 hurricanes so Florida has been hit hard with the rain.
from my-solitaire :
Hey Linda! It has been so long since I've been to your diary because I have been without the web, I just wanted to say I was back, but I'm at my old diary and not captivated- And I still love your username!
from supermom3604 :
((hugs))Thank God I'm not the only one. I actually screamed "Can't you guys be good for five goddamn minutes?!" right in front of my mother. When you've had it, you've had it.
from pashiesplace :
I'm having a similar day, Nearly started a fire(seriously) by burning Ramen noodles to a pot this afternoon,Em is (not)pottytraining- 7 pairs of panties in 4 hours...I've also screamed like a banshee only to see both my open window AND a neighbor lingering nearby. Huge hugs coming at you.
from cassiopeia- :
Thank you for joining the anti-kerry ring! kisses, cassie
from supermom3604 :
Ha! I don't think anyone has ever told me that I'm so f'n cool before. That totally made my day. You rock quite hard yourself!
from supermom3604 :
Hi! Thanks for taking my survey. It's so much fun to know what other people are thinking. And thank you for your comment, too - I love when people leave notes. A Helen Keller joke? I can't imagine what that might be...do tell!
from supermom3604 :
I realize I don't know the situation very well, but if the kids are going less than a mile to school, is it an option to just drive them there, or do you live in one of those districts that MUST bus them?
from thecrankyone :
I've had that button on me for a long time. Warren has been riding the "special" bus since he was in first grade, and tried to pick fights with 6th graders...
from supermom3604 :
My kids NEVER listen to a word I say. I know, they're young (1 & 2) but everyone else's kids (it seems) are so well-behaved, and they sit when they're told and can be taken into stores and restaurants - not mine! You're not alone. I think the "good kids" are actually robots bought by rich yuppies to make us look bad.
from janie12975 :
Ah yes, I once naively thought that once I turned 20, and was out of my "teens" all zits would cease. Um, at 28, with a huge zit on my forehead, I am living proof this just ain't so! Ugh!
from nascarwidow :
Hi there! I finally had a chance to catch up on your entries. My heart is breaking for you. You don't deserve all the stress you have to deal with daily. I hope this school year will allow you some stress free moments to give you the energy to go on. Sorry J scare you so badly, too. BTW, I'm a die-hard Bush fan, too. Just another thing we have in common!
from pashiesplace :
OMG about J.! I bet you're still shaking thinking of it. Hugs.
from irisheyes70 :
Holy crap about J! I'm so glad he's allright! Who knows what they think. "Look at me! I'm dancing in the street! Look at that truck! Hey! Look at me, truck!" Eeeep! I pray every night for God to look out for my kids. They do crazy stuff sometimes too!
from krugerpak007 :
I just read your latest entry about E and I am so sorry for you. You seem to be having such a difficult time with him. You are an amzing mother, I don't know how you do it. I hope things start looking up, I can only imagine how difficult it is for you. xoxo Kathy (I really like your present template!)
from pashiesplace :
Oh my Linda. i just read your 7/30 entry. I so truly understand. My Maya is very much the same. nothing works, period. She is capable of such sweetness, but usually chooses the opposite behavior. I have taken toys, tv, time-outted,grounded...I feel useless. and, it does feel like MY punishment. My penance for some still unknown terrible thing I must have done. I haven't gotten hit in the eye, but she did bite my stomach so bad about 6 months ago that I needed a tetnus shot. I hurt for you & really understand your frusteration. I also just "need her away" from me. I know how awful it sounds, but we're human. No one can take every single bit of hostility even from your own child, without finally feeling negative. Big hugs.
from pashiesplace :
You & I really are on very much the same path. Know that you aren't alone. Big hugs.
from pashiesplace :
Wow! Great deals even for Walmart! I agree about Dollar Tree not taking debit cards. How crazy are they?
from happyleo13 :
I just wanted to say hey! You love Clay too! that's awesome. I'm madly in love with him. Love, Jess

from cutielatina :
Sweetie...it will be ok. I was a victim of a hit and run accident recently, and someone as kind as you are stopped and stayed with me while my husband took care of things. I have lit a candle and will say a prayer for that woman..and one for you. You are a genuienly good person, and there was a reason it wasn't you.And I hope you feel better. I send you a *hug*...Cuidate...
from just-m :
I wub Clay *heart* He's my future husband, dontcha know? :)
from cutielatina :
Thank you for adding me to your favorite. For some reason, when I was adding diaryrings and deleting the ones that were kind of lame...I saw your name, more than once,in the ones I was adding, not the lame ones..haha.. and it intruiged me.:) And once I read one entry...it was so funny and you are really genuine. And Clay Aiken, is growing on me. Did you see his interview with Diane Sawyer the other week? Anyway, thank you again for the honor. Cuidate...
from captivated- :
