Yeah...well, when Ms. OR and Miss Scott wanted my opinion about the Asst. Captain thing, I mentioned whether or not Theressa had received a lot of support, and I guess the verdict was kind of no. I really like Theressa, and I can understand if she was upset, but she really just doesn't seem that into it - she does the motions and gets fed up, etc, etc. I mean, I suck, but I think I try to put some effort into it. Mreh, I don't know. I also think that just because she's quiet people maybe don't notice her as much. I don't know. It's hard to say, though, I think being a gymn captain is sort of weird, just because everything is so individual. I guess we'll see how it all plays out.

Well, basically a bunch of craziness happened, and so today I didn't go to gymn, under the advice of Mr. Peters, who wanted to talk to Ms. OR or some such thing. Anyway, then I got an email saying that Ms. OR really wants to talk to me. So after dinner I haul ass in the freezing cold to 2CB, where I sat alone in the physics office with Ms. OR and Ms. Scott (aack!) , during which time I got 21 questions about whether I was using wanting to play rugby in third term as an excuse to get the hell out of gymn, etc, etc. It was a bit awkward, really. But I did say that I enjoyed it for the most part and that I would like to continue with it during third term. And Ms. OR started going on about my leadership and how she would hate to see me go, etc, etc. And I was kind of explaining that I was trying to make some decisions this year that were going to make me happy (which was a bit awkward, because, for some reason, I think they both knew a bit more than what I expected them to...you understand?) So, the plan is that Mr. Martin and Ms. OR and I are all going to sort out a way that I can do both gymn and rugby! Hurrah! Anyway, I was pretty exited. That's the end! I could tell Ms. OR was really happy that I was happy with it and everything. I'm glad that I could sort of make everyone else feel good while still having myself feel good! If that makes sense. Anyhoo my dear don't you worry yourself with school. No one does well first semester - it's a huge step up, and you're trying to cope with so much, while trying to have some fun. Don't give your dad any money - buy yourself and your sister something nice instead. Sorry if that's shitty advice, I just want you to be happy because I know you deserve it. I've been sort of "down" lately and I know that doing a few things to make myself feel better is actually helping more than I could have ever though. Really unexpected things. So do the same, ok?
