I see that you wrote it a few years ago, but your Social Consultant entry is smart and funny and I liked it a lot.
from revisions :
does this mean i owe you a happy entry?? because you are totally out of luck there... ha ha ha...welcome back friend.
from rainforme :
i sure hope you do...
from redsirenbody :
I have just gotten around to reading your entry on Kerry and Bush and the draft...What a great, informed entry. I must say I have not given enough thought to the question of the Draft as I should...time is so limited. (No excuse I know...) I am voting for Kerry as I have studied his ideas and feel he has the best chance to change the way this country is going...I do enjoy bush for his downhominess (I am a southern girl, through and through) and I can see him at your bar-b-que as well...I would like to attend also. Hugs. L
from rainforme :
la sigh. remember how we debated whether or not we need to find that mind altering, soul shattering, philisophical partner? i think that entry answered it. she makes you happy... a constant search for something that probably doesn't exist... not happy. i heart you guy. enjoy the sweetness.
from redsirenbody :
wow what a great entry. thanks for sharing. L
from rainforme :
knock a little softer, i have a nasty hangover. ugghh. heh.. see you soon!
from rainforme :
booya what? man who gets last say is just man who gets last say. old chinese proverb. and yeah... eat cookies. i'll supply the milk of gnostics and the napkins of atheists. we can have a party.
from redsirenbody :
hmm. I have done the same thing but I ate a cup cake. good entry. L

Touch. Great points and I agree with you 100 percent. Stereotypes are necessary for a variety of reasons. But, it's always tough for some people--I'm mainly referring to my students here--to get beyond the stereotypes. That's when they're damaging. Keep on writing.
from rainforme :
well, well. look at you boys going back and forth.. gets me all hot and bothered. hehe. phoenix - as to your stimulus entry... what happened to first reactions being the most truthful and honest... and therefore beautiful?
from inthepresent :
"Wake up" is strongly written, and evocative. But, as someone who has both a positive outlook on life and half a brain, I think you generalized a bit too much. Writing or speaking with emotion doesn't necessarily mean the person is saying what is "right" or that they have a superior value system. Nor does a lack of anger indicate that someone is "wrong," weak, or value-less. I could make a blanket statement like, "People who shout the loudest usually do so because of their fear of not being heard, and to compensate for certain insecurities." But, this is only partly true, part of the time. If even that. One thing I won't do though, is refuse to listen to anyone, regardless of how loud they yell or how softly they whisper. We're all ignorant in many ways, and you just never know when someone might say something worth listening to. Cool entry though!
from inthepresent :
Do we have control of our lives? Of course...not...sort of...at times, I guess. In my opinion I do think we have control over our lives. Like your entry about wanting to be more mindful, and your entry about being negative; you have control over these things. You decide whether the world is a beautiful place or a living hell. At each moment there are a thousand tragedies taking place--children being beaten by their parents, men and women being shot at in wars--but there are also a thousand things one can look at and say, "Wow, that's beautiful." It depends upon the way you see the world. But, of course, there's the variable of other people, doing other things to you, and to us. You have very little control over someone crashing into your car, or falling madly in love with you. Some things, well, just happen. So there is control, but there is also chaos. That's my opinion, anyway.
from redsirenbody :
you made me laugh today. aol name glaural i promise to sign out...smiles.

Hi, I just noticed you added me as a favorite and that you have howie day matt nathenson and oar listed as favorites, and I happened to have seen them in a concert last night.
from redsirenbody :
I know what you mean. I know how hard it is to live in the moment. I try so hard but I always slip out. It makes me so sad when I can not stay in the moment. We are programmed from the day we are born to keep looking ahead: the next birthday, the next, grade, the next milestone. It is sad the fate we give each other...I will keep trying and I hope you do too. Love L
from rainforme :
hurray for drunk entries!
from redsirenbody :
Oh my! I want to swing dance! Fun! L
from redsirenbody :
Your words flatter me to no end. I appreciate your saying them. Thank you so much for adding me. I feel I will be doing the same in a short time. L
from redsirenbody :

from rainforme :
