i've been thinking a lot about how friendships change, dissolve and reform as we grow older...it's such a strange thing. It often makes me sad but then also very happy for the friendships that survive...

oh dear, i hear the engaged-thing. i thought there was something HORRIBLY wrong with me when all my friends from high school and college got married, and i wasn't even dating anyone. but you know what? there wasn't anything wrong with me. and there's nothing wrong with you. you're not where you want to be right now - that's for sure - but that doesn't mean that each day at your assistant ed. job and each day living with your folks isn't a step towards the day when you'll be at a job that's more meaningful to you and in a living situation where you're more independent. which i guess is all a long way of saying: hang in there girl! you can make it!

Thanks for the kind words, and I'm sorry that love sucks. Even in my non-relationship status, I know that. As far as boy wonder, he seems to be having a difficult time facing up the truth about his work obsession (nothing I'll ever be accused of). But it's good you're getting this way out now. Either he will have to face up to the fact, or you'll know he isn't the right guy for you. Plenty of other men out there, especially in the 28-year-old range judging from your last post to me ;-)

i looked thru the source code for your page, and it appears you won't be able to change the wording under the lily. it's not separate text, but written directly onto the picture - the only way to be rid of it is to find another picture to link to. if you'd like some help working on it let me know, i'm somewhat of a coder. (barely!)

I think you should be able to find the words while looking through your template - just delete them. I have dealt with similar stuff in templates I've used and could always find the verbiage just by using the "Change your Template" option.
