enjoyed your words
from cassiopeia- :
Happy Thanksgiving--kisses, cassie
from veryberry :
Aww, I wish I COULD move out there! Well, I suppose I'd probably miss my family and friends after awhile, lol! But come on! This is the Faboo Janette we're talking about! ;)
from veryberry :
Have I told you lately that I love you? *grins and huggles* 'Cause I DOOOO!
from daises :
Where are you hun? You've dropped off the face of the earth... I hope everything is ok. Miss you!
from veryberry :
*giggles* Can you imagine your dad having an online diary? "Went round with Janette today to repair her car and find some replacement parts. Was thrilled to get the light cover for free! Only had the slightest of cracks; I do love a bargain!" Hee hee...Glad to know your car's fixed up again! *hugs*
from psianina :
Staying another year sounds wise and responsible. Then after that, we'll have to travel and see each other at least a little bit!
from veryberry :
Aww, poor Jam *snuggles* I like the sound of the way you're teaching spelling better than the way they're trying to tell you to do it! Yeah, of course the memorization thing works (obviously), but if you can possibly teach them a way of figuring out on their own how words they DON'T know are spelled, that's so awesome! That's what teaching REALLY is about! Bah...I'd say, if you can put up with the criticism, to continue doing what you're doing. Once you get some experience under your belt, you'll be one of the 'tenure' type people and they'll look to YOU for advice! ;)
from cassiopeia- :
Happy Valentine's Day! kisses, cassie

from mrquiteaguy :
I like the name. :) I am adding you to my diaries to read. Hope you dont mind?
from veryberry :
I love the new layout!! :D You're so talented, whee! *hugs*
from veryberry :
Ooo, Merry Christmas, my dear Janette! *SMUSH* As for all the sewing stuff...I wish I was brave enough to be able to just do things, instead of having to have patterns and make sure everything is perfect (not that it ever is...I just have this anal need to try and GET it there, heh)! Half of the learning process is just doing, but yeah, I'm always too afraid, hehe...I've never used a thimble in my life, though. So maybe I'm brave in that sense, at least. ;) *more huggles* Talk to ya later, and I hope you have a great Christmas!
from cassiopeia- :
Happy Halloween! Trick or Treat! BOO! kisses, cassie

from veryberry :
Your diary designs always seem to have a soft elegance about them, Jammypants! I just felt like commenting on my observation. ;) *SMUSHES*
from maihgread :
I'm sorry you're sicky, hun *hugs* Get better soon! And I quite liked your rant (ok, it was too polite to be a REAL rant, but still hehe) about the nonsense going on in Iraq. Does it help if you know that not everyone in the US supports it's government's actions and just want their country(wo)men back in one piece?
from veryberry :
*looks down* I'll bet you're glad to know that, aren't you? ;) Anyway, my professor informed the class yesterday that teachers get into teaching so that they can torture students. So make sure you let us know how well you're doing at it. *grins and huggles*
from tohya :
Hey there, Jam-jam! I know I'll probably see on online later tonight, but I had to say that the owyn layout is lovely!
from veryberry :
*glances upward and whistles innocently* I don't have a popup thingie on my homepage, nope... ;) Not that anyone ever goes there anyway, so it's no big deal I suppose! *giggles*
from veryberry :
This is going to sound silly, but it's so wonderful thinking of you as a teacher! *grins* On the one hand I think, "But she's so YOUNG!" but that's only because I'm so used to seeing really really old teachers. :P I can just imagine you sitting there with all the little kiddies, telling them cute stories! Make sure you read them that one about the two monsters who lived on opposite sides of the hill! ;)
from nombril :
Hello darkness my old friend, I've come to talk with you again... It has been almost a year since I've updated or been by your site, but it was good to get back here and read you again. I'm glad that you are still alive and kicking... and writing. I am now, too... with the writing... not the kicking. Oy! Anyway, I hope you'll pay me a visit again. I have a few fresh entries up.
from veryberry :
Three in a row...do I get a prize? ;) Anyway, it seems so weird for you to be getting teaching interviews already! Not weird in a bad way, of course, it's just so...I don't know! I'm only just STARTING college, lol, and you're going out into the real world! *le sigh* Remember when we were both just young, innocent things with no concept of the real world? *giggles and hugs* Good luck on the interview, whether you decide to take the job or not! :)
from veryberry :
Me again! Hehe...I took that Career Zone thing awhile ago, and got ASE like you did! Wahoo! ;) *giggles*
from veryberry :
Generally speaking, I enjoy life sciences much more than physical sciences. I just need to try and find a class that doesn't involve dissecting, hehe :P I'm sure there are plenty of them, I just need to find one I could get into! ;)
from smellyfinger :
HaHa. I like presants. They make me juggle the balls today.
from veryberry :
I know exactly what you mean, about colleges letting you study the degree you want, but not the subjects you want! If I had my way, I'd take all sorts of different, unrelated subjects! We get to have a certain number of free electives, but even THOSE are supposed to, in some way, relate to our major. :P I want to learn all sorts of different things!
from psianina :
The 'net does indeed do weird things to one's name! *grins* IRL I'm just Laura, though occasionally my parents will be silly and pronounce it the Spanish way. But online I'm Lola, Lane, Laney, etc.! ^_^ I like the sound of Netty. It sounds like a grandma who does crochet and plays canasta with a group of girlfriends on Friday nights.
from demmykin :
Janette!!!! I love the new design very very very much! And I agree, it's very you! I think we have a school here called "Cotillion," actually. A school where kids learn "proper etiquette." *giggles* Anyway. I adore the layout. ^_^
from veryberry :
I meant to tell you that I really like your new design!! :) It's very pretty, and I agree with Heather; it DOES fit you! *smush*
from psianina :
thanks! like the weatherpixie, btw! ;)
from cassiopeia- :
The only real way to know someone is to live with them. Even then, it is not always possible. Know yourself, that is what counts. kisses, cassie
from maihgread :
*hugs* Just dropping by to say hi and that I *still* miss you and it sucks that we never seem to find each other online anymore. Guess that's a hint I outta email you or something right? hehe
from cuke15 :
I don't know you, but it seems like you update your diary a lot, so I'm going to add you to my favorite diary list so when I check my buddy list and see that you've updated, I have something to keep me occupied. "Coz you're the one who can break me and keep me on my back Coz you're the one who can save me from falling into the black" -Butch Walker f/ Nikki Sixx "Into the Black"
from gbg :
Welcome to the Buffy/Angel diaryring! And also to the Angelus diaryring, but I usually don't welcome for that. :)
from dracofan :
Are you a Pansy Parkinson fan?
from veryberry :
You wanna know something a little eerie? Years ago, when I lived in Massachusetts, I bought a Tarot card deck in Salem. The particular deck? Moon Garden. How weird is THAT that we should have chosen the same one!!! *giggles*
from naniloa :
Hello! Am I to assume you live in England? If so, cool. I - who wishes I did - do not live in england, but i love talking to people from there. Kudos for teaching. My mom used to, and she says she wouldn't again for all of the gold in Ft. Knox! I have ADHD, like the -possibly - kid in your class. It's a bit hard to be quiet, but somehow I manage it quite often. Apparently not now though, because I'm talking your ear off, lol. If you're ever interested in talking (or have free time and are bored) feel free to drop by my diary and leave a message or a note, I'll love you forever. Luvs Muchly, Naniloa
from maihgread :
I miss you toooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! :-(
from veryberry :
Let me just say, Jam my dear, that I not only admire you TREEEmendously for your choice of careers (because goodness knows I'd never have the talent for something like education!), but I'm very proud of you!!! :-D *smush*
from cassiopeia- :
Hi! Mom is wondering if you know what is the approperiate age for children to begin music lessons. She also has a comment about money and sex, since you are on the subject of money and she finds this quote to be true..."Sex is like money, those who have it don't talk about it." Anyway...kisses! cassie
from maihgread :
I'm, like, totally 80s! ;-P I didn't check to see which monkey I was, tho. I hate monkeys.
from maihgread :
ROFL! Netty, yer friends are crazy *points at Amber* Wait......I'm one of yer friends. AHHHHHHHHH! I must be crazy too! ;-P
from veryberry :
Okay, so..."Jam, Jam, she's our girl! She's so great, we wanna hurl!"? No, somehow that doesn't sound right, even if it DOES rhyme! ;)
from maihgread :
*hugs* Feel better and less stressed, sweetums!
from bisskit :
~hugs~ I love ya Janette - I haven't talked to you in sooooo long - I miss you :\
from veryberry :
Aww, poor Jam! *smushes* I know it's good that you're not going because you won't be stressed out, but I'd been so excited for you!!! :\ Ah well, I know you'll get another chance to go...without all the stress! *grins and huggles*
from maihgread :
Somehow I knew you'd be a princess, Netty ;-)
from veryberry :
*smush!* I've missed yooooo! Well, you've had important things to do, hehe, but nevertheless, I've missed you! And of course, when I visit I'll bring over Diagon Alley and we'll play! ;) Whee! Aww, I hope your presentation goes nicely!!!
from maihgread :
*hugs* Yer so silly, girl! Oooh - and I was Veronica from Heathers. That goes w/o saying, of course ;-)
from pansygirl :
I removed the offensive diary entry because I never intended for it to hurt anyone's feelings or I wouldn't have written it. It wasn't written as a criticism at all. Sorry.
from psianina :
Besides making fun of me, you took what I said out of context. I was talking about how people use the Internet to be rude without having to face any consequences, for example saying, "That diary is soooo stupid and has the ugliest design and I don't know why the diarist doesn't just kill themselves because they're so boring!" You're free to use your diary how you wish, even if you want to talk about things that make other people uncomfortable, like bodily functions or your political convictions. I don't care if people write about how they worship Satan. They can write about what they want, and I'll write about what I want. But I'm not going to link to their diary and say "This person is a complete idiot!" Which is basically what you did to me.
from inisfree :
Happy Easter to you too, chicken! Hope ya had a great day with plenty of chocolate eggs :o) ::hugs:: ~Neas
from maihgread :
Carl Sandburg is a great Chicago poet, Netty. I can email ya some of his stuff sometime if ya like ;-) And oooh - I'm Boba Fett! hehehe
from veryberry :
Ohh, how pretty! :D I wish I could've gotten here before you left so I could exclaim over the new design!
from demmykin :
Ahhhh! I absolutely *adore* the new layout, Janette! It's so cute!
from maihgread :
Oooh - yer new layout is SO CUTE!!!!
from psianina :
what a nice sister you are!
from psianina :
I wouldn't trust what a quiz says about your beliefs, or other religion's beliefs and values.
from maihgread :
*waves n hugs* Just saying hi 'cause i haven't talked to ya in a bit!
from psianina :
netty come back where have you beeeeen?
from maihgread :
*HUGS* Glad to have helped yer day get better! But I can't take any of the credit. Dat's all Timmy :-)
from maihgread :
hehe. Lesse - I was the burgandy patent boots (whoo), I was The Kids font (huh?), and I was a Ravensclaw. Again - huh? you'll have to explain that one to me sometime ;-)
from maihgread :
If it makes ya feel any better, Netty, my hair is *exactly* the same way! I always look like I had a perm and need to get another one. Ugh :-/
from psianina :
If I remember correctly: Le Fou I'm afraid I've been thinking -- a dangerous pasttime -- I know. But that crazy old coot is Belle's father, and his sanity's only so-so. Now the wheel's in my head have been turning / since I looked at that loony old man / now I promised myself I'd be married to Belle and right now I'm evolving a plan!
from psianina :
On the DVD extras for Monty Python and the Holy Grail, they have a couple scenes in Japanese with English subtitles. And instead of "Run awaaaay!" it said "Escape!" It reminded me of you. I just thought that was fooneh.
from psianina :
I'm not mad, I was just feel snubbed whenever that happens (it happened twice last night alone) and had to get it out. I'm glad you weren't really snubbing me, though!
from davine-angel :
*falls over in amazment* you like crowded house!!! =D I thought I might be the only person in the world that does!..yaaaaay..now you HAVE to be my friend..tee hee *wonders if she scared you, shyly walks away*
from veryberry :
Berry misses her Jam! *giggles* When you get back from your holiday (saying 'holiday' always makes me want to break into song), tell us ALLL about your exciting adventures, 'kay? ;) *SMUSH*
from brilliantme :
Hey Janette - sent you a mail to that kookyjan mail addy. Go check hun! Love AnnaMia
from psianina :
I got 8/10! I said PE instead of Maths, and then Grey Tower because I didn't even look at d.), I just assumed it said netland WHITE tower! Oopsie! Wheeeeee go Laura, go Laura!
from demmykin :
Wheeeeee! Well, Demmy didn't do well. >_< Sorry!! She got a... *cough4cough* right. *looks around and hangs her head in shame*
from maihgread :
*HUGS* Thank you, "sweetie"! ;-)
from pufnstuf :
You seem like a nice person. I like your layout.
from psianina :
*chortles* It's not meeeeeee! The "next" option screws everybody! Sometimes it brings you to the next entry but more often than not it brings you to the index. I don't know why but it's common to everyone's diaries!
from nombril :
Hello. I was just browsing through recently updated journals and found yours. I like your style. It is really supremely readable. Good job. Have a great December.
from psianina :
I love the new layout! I just realized right now that the colors are the exact same in a layout I've been thinking of lately! ~~~~~ eh?
from veryberry :
*SMUSHES* My favoritest Jam friend! Mom just asked me today if I was still talking to you, and I said "Of course, she's just got a lot of schoolwork so I don't see her as often!" And it reminded me to finally get my act together and drop you a note...literally, since these are called notes! Ha ha ha! Get it? Bleh. ;)
from mattu :
Hey. I love your pretty layout. You should join my Neurotic diaryring.
from psianina :
