Happy, happy birthday!! It sounded like a great one!!
from retro-cat :
PeggyPenny, that luggage bag is AMAZING!!! i don't know how much you want for it?
from hitch-hike :
Happy New Year, Sunshine! From a reader in the Sunshine State !)
from hitch-hike :
I loooove and miss autumn in the American midwest & southern Ontario! My bro told me fall has come early in Michigan with cooler weather, so I'm sure it's knocking on your door. Thx for the congrats, too... I'm thinking of naming the little one Julian or Juliana (the daddy wants its name to begin with 'J!' :) I'm very, very excited....
from hitch-hike :
Cool, so the guy went away!!! Hooray!
from hitch-hike :
It's 100% appropriate for you to tell him he's not welcomed to visit your site. You also don't need to talk/email or keep any contact going once you've told him. "No" means "no!" I've known people who've had to shoo some people from their site for the same reasons, and even had to do the same to different people. They've always stopped once I said it and moved on to creep someone else out. Good luck!! xoxo
from hitch-hike :
GTO reminded me of the lady from Daisy Chainsaw. I bet she drew some inspiration from them!! Better yet, I think many of those baby-doll rock chicks did as well!
from hitch-hike :
Happy Birthday to the eternally youthful Julia!!!
from hitch-hike :
I subscribe to Mystic Medusa!! She sent me a postcard all the way from Australia for reading! I thought that was cool. I like to goof off with The Oracle to see what is would say. There's time when it was spot on (whoooaaa)...
from xnamehere :
it's a 3d animation program that's both infuriating and amazing! hehe.
from hitch-hike :
Ooh, rice and beans are the best! So simple and yet so full of Latin kitchen goodness! If you're ever feeling adventurous, search for a recipe for cuban black beans and rice (it's quite simple to make and doesn't require weird spices)... They are so good for you, too.
from xnamehere :
could so go for that movie right now. ^^
from xnamehere :
mmm red beans and rice is soo good. aww now you got me jonesin' ha! i couldn't believe the compliance story, having worked in many restaurants, i find it mind-blowing that people could be that stupid. i'd have told them to get their asses down here and show me a badge. *sigh* people man. that ballerina documentary looks good. i'll hafta check it. love ballet.
from hitch-hike :
I love E.L.O.!!! You made me remember them with the 'Strange Magic' video on today's post! They may be my next mp3 purchase :D
from hitch-hike :
Hahaha, I loved your piece on the motel although at the time it didn't sound so funny!! We had lots of those types of places in Northern Michigan (lol)... Anyhow, I'd like to wish you a Joyeaux Noel to you and your family (I don't know the greeting in Hungarian :). Enjoy!
from xnamehere :
*high five* :D dahling i wouldn't have you any other way!
from kenny-loo :
it's the story for a lot of us usually. There's such a truth to it. Sometimes that fact makes me worried that i'll end up alone, because i'm waiting for the time when we will both like each other in the same way at the same time and the right timing. Timing is everything i've been told.
from xnamehere :
you can find me under pentupfodder. feel free to add me and keep in touch. :)
from kenny-loo :
I saw "My Summer of Love" awhile ago and liked it very much. Had no idea those girls would cross that line though...but interesting movie nevertheless.
from xnamehere :
thanks darlin! :) hehe, there was a time long long ago when i deemed weed as a "drug", but now i see it as medicine. god my friends are right, i'm such a junkie. ;)
from xnamehere :
wow that actually sounds really cool, but i know what you mean. i actually have a lot of nightmares myself, ever since i was very little. it's kind of what brought on this interest in lucid dreaming. i'm tired of not being in control, i want to make the rules! oh and dude, i am so getting those bubble socks for my friend. she LOVES the power puff girls. thank you for posting them!
from xnamehere :
oooh that cosmic mix cover is shweet!!
from hitch-hike :
Methinks you need a trip to NYC to see the art museums and the fashion :) Have you been there? When I read about your Warhol thing, this was the first thing I thought! You'd love the Museum of Modern Art if you hadn't already been there... <3
from kenny-loo :
The phone i had which i paid for internet (which got stolen) was an Android. Samsung Exhibit II 4 G. I pay 10 bucks a month. On the plus, mine had wifi so i got to use it at home or anywhere with wifi and i don't use any of my internet data, which was cool. i still pay for it because i'm under contract. I want to get the same phone, i just wanna wait until it goes down in price. i had gotten it for free because we were eligible for an upgrade and now it sucks that i'd have to pay full price for another.
from hitch-hike :
I'm intrigued about Sasha Baron Cohen playing Freddie Mercury. Although the guy acts like a total ass in his comedy, he is actually one smart dude (studied at Oxford). I think he may do a good job because he's also English and grew up listening to him... I have faith he won't slam poor Freddie :D
from kenny-loo :
i had to chuckle when you called yourself 'weird-ass' and in some form of way, i know what you mean. It's hard to "get someone" when the majority of people our age are kind of lame and so set to this dumb ass decade. Me, well i am in love with older things, vintage, 70's, 80's. I DO have good friends although most of mine i have nothing in common with. I have one best friend whom i have known since i was 11 but i must say that most of the best friends you have you will meet in your 20's. It's hard to identify when you admire the little things others don't give a crap about. It's okay that you don't hang out. I don't see my friends that much. Every now and then yes but that's what it gets to. Life gets in the way. Sometimes i feel like the odd ball but it doesn't stop me. I like what i like friends or no friends. It does stink that i want to go to a Chicago concert or Journey and i have no one to go with because holy man, they might get bored to death but i want you to know i find myself so identified with you. Just when you think you're alone... BAM! Keep it retro. Older is better. Much Better :)
from xnamehere :
haha enid is awesome. it's hard for sure.. if you're meant to jive with someone it will happen, but nothing guarantees that you will jive with that person forever. everything is always changing. i loved that last entry. you're definitely not alone in your nostalgia and i think it's really great to be so influenced by the things you loved when you were younger. it's hard though when that inspiration runs out and things feel stagnant. i see it this way, as an artist the things that inspire you will reflect in your art. and you have a great source of inspiration to fill you - decades worth! to sort of lead you when you're struggling with technique or learning new skills. no matter what's currently trending, you're always going to have this well of inspiration to draw from that makes you very interesting and unique, especially if you make it your own, you'll be keeping it alive, perhaps to transcend time and become something even more wonderful. who knows ya know. whenever people come over to my apartment they swear they stepped back into the 70s. ha i have no shame. :)) keep loving what you love. i don't think it will let you down.
from xnamehere :
no problem. :) the photo shoot sounds like so much fun, i know you'll be stunning. <33
from xnamehere :
awww babe i love your journal. your style makes me happeh! but yes, i share your sentiment about sucking cyber dick hehe. really, what is going on??? just write for yourself, fuck the audience. you don't need a huge following to feel validated, you're very much appreciated as you are. ♥
from hitch-hike :
I want to be La Contessa!
from hitch-hike :
Ok, now you need to add the Patsy Cline movie to your collection <3 :)
from hitch-hike :
Voodoo Donuts?! That sounds like my kind of place!! If it's in New Orleans, I'll be sure to stop there when I pay my respects to the spirit of Madame Marie Laveau!!
from hitch-hike :
Happy, happy birthday!! I remember yours cos it's so close to my younger sisters! Have a great year!! <3
from sunflowerowl :

from dinahsoar :
Rumi rocks!
from hitch-hike :
I'm shrieking (in my head) like a teeny bopper after reading your 80s music mix!!!
from hitch-hike :
Happy New Year, Julia!!! :D
from julymalaise :
Gorgeous shoes! Miu-Miu is tremendous!
from julymalaise :
As a matter of fact, it was doritos!! People do get crazy over them, even myself. Some of the flavors are addicting. However, I would not fight over it, that is just... an outrage.
from julymalaise :
Yeah, Kim K has a super big ego and it's horrible and she needs to stop acting the way she does because it ain't cute whatsoever, lol. That was funny with the Justin Beiber thing. They probably thought that she was duplicate of him and got all excited for nothing to find out it's actually a girl, lol. Funny as hell!
from julymalaise :
Eww, that is fuckin' nasty. Why would anyone in their right mind send their used sanitary pad?!!? EWWW, that's diiirty!
from julymalaise :
Remember The Luxe series I mention to you one time in a message? The book about the young socialites from the early 1900s in Manhattan New York? Well, I ordered the third book in the series and I can't wait to READ ITT!! It's called Envy!!
from julymalaise :
Yeah, it was pretty horrible, but I thought it was funny as hell as my school years went by. I didn't care if I looked silly. And thanks for the encouraging words as always, you are always there :D and I appreciate it. I want to be a novelist or a journalist when I am older and that is what I want to study when I'm in college...
from julymalaise :
Wow, that was a crazy incident!! it's okay though, we had our fair shares of falling down and embrassing ourselves. That happened to me when I was crushing Mr. Pansy (You remembered him!! I used to talk about ALL the time in my old journal.) and I remember him just looking at me crazy and me feeling all humiliated because some boy was like "Look, that freshman girl fell!" (This happened when I was freshman.) and it did not help the situation whatsoever. Till this day, I will never forgot that time, though now, I think it was pretty funny. And that bitch gotta stop running her mouth, like what the fuck?!?! Bitchy-ass girrrrrl. I wish Stew DOES bitch-slap her!! That'll be funny as hell!!
from julymalaise :
OMG, I forgot to include Toddlers in Tiaras in the things I do not like. Lol. Yeah, perverts are just ugly, fat guys who have no life... YES, I like Belle and Sebastian and they are such a good band. I've been listening to them lately and I will check out those bands you mentioned to me, they sound so lovely!!
from stepfordtart :
Paul Scholes?????? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!! (sorry. that was rude of me. but, seriously? Paul Scholes? *sniggers*). s x
from julymalaise :
ARGH!! Don't you hate those douchebag teachers?? Ew, they're so annoying and sometimes you really want to slap them across the face very badly when they get on your nerves. That was a horrible thing for your french teacher to do to your friend. He's sick. And I hate those teachers who just put you in the spot for not being in homeroom early, like you don't have to be early in homeroom yet if the bell didn't even rang!! Like what the hell?!!?! The same thing happened to me too, so I feel your pain. Mhmmm, PB&J bagels sound so yummy!! And i'm stealing your survey! =P
from julymalaise :
Yeah, I hope they find who the cultprit was. I feel so bad for her because whoever it was totally violated her personal stuff by going through her pictures and ripping them up. She still hasn't found her stuff that they took yet. And your French teacher sounded like a pompous douchebag, I can't believe he made your friend throw-up and what the hell? He carried around a mirror? Wow, someone loves himself, lol. How did he made your friend throw-up? And I do agree with you, things like this shouldn't happen to nice teachers...
from stepfordtart :
I had to google mississauga as I didnt really believe it was a real place! Golly, you're a long way away! I posted a pic just for you yesterday - did you see?! s x
from julymalaise :
OMG! I'm doing great, and yeah, we were getting the last remnants of Tropical Storm Lee and it is crazy, it's been raining hard and stuff. Ugh, weather in September is nuts. My weather has been jumping and up and down for the past week. I'm wishing it could be November now. I like November, it's all cold and snuggly. Glad that your photography class is working out for you! Sounds like you are having a wonderful time!
from julymalaise :
Yeah, the hurricane cooled it down here too and hopefully, the heatwave is Canada will diminish if it hadn't already. I feel bad for the New Orleans people! I'm praying for them! Anyway, I'm glad you are taking courses for photography! It sounds cool, so glad for you! Hahaha, Jesse Eisenberg is a cutie. Lol, Mr. Willy, haha, he sounds like a dreamboat! I have a few shares of having crushes on teeachers!! lol. Gone With The Wind is an awesome movie! I fell in love with the movie when I first watched it in my eighth grade Social Studies class. I loved it so much that I told my mother to buy it and we watched it at home! (We didn't watch the whole thing in school, it was too long. We only watched the parts that talked about the Civil War.)
from julymalaise :
Thanks, Jules! We're okay here in Philly, we actually didn't get it pretty bad here. It was just rain and mostly... wind. But it was scary. All Saturday night, there were tornado warnings and I was scared. Some of my friends slept in the basement in the duration of the night. Luckily, no tornadoes went through the area, though there is some spectulation that there one near our area. There was one in Delaware and it destroyed one home. But Jersey is flooded and Vermont got it hard, I feel bad for them, and so did Connecticut. I heard Irene went all the way up to Canada! We lost power here for a few days, but it's up and restored, so I'm happy about that!! Thanks for telling me to keep safe, it really comforted me!
from julymalaise :
Glad to hear your livejournal is working!! YAAAAAYYYYYY!
from julymalaise :
Glad everything was okay, but I haven't heard anything in the news. And that's scary, the thunderstorms that sounds like earthquakes!! And I haven't heard anything about the tornado on the news, because all I had been seeing the past week is about the hurricane. I'm scared, it's coming Sunday!
from julymalaise :
The weather is seriously acting crazy!! Tornadoes are scary. Be safe, Jules, and I hope you are all right, girl! Write back!
from stepfordtart :
Hello! I saw your note over at julymalaise's place and thought Id stop by here to tell you, I host pictures for my diary via Photobucket.com - its super easy to use and its FREEEEEEEE! Might be worth you giving it a try. s x
from julymalaise :
It was really an eerie, I was frightened as hell. But no storm came again, which was good. Oh, I hope everything will be resolve with that website, it is so stupid that they are not letting you update!! Sucks!
from julymalaise :
Awww... thanks. And oh my gosh, that crash in LJ was getting on my nerves. I keep checking status.livejournal.com again and again hoping it will work for me because I wanted to update. I'm going to check to later Lj, see if it is working for me!
from julymalaise :
And oh yeah, are you having a problem with livejournal? Everytime I type the Url, it doesn't work.
from julymalaise :
I will say hi to "The Situation" for you cuz you know, i'm close to him like that, hahaha!! I love Little Joy, they are awesome. And you are totally welcome. It's the truth you are a groovy girl!
from julymalaise :
Thanks for the kind word, my bestie! =) I was very fed up the other day and had to vent about my feelings. I'm not going to change my sweet and innocent ways, but I AM going to make a point to people that I am not going to be walked on and that people are not going to be taken advantage of. And yeah, I'm known as the goody-two-shoes at my school too because I don't drink, smoke, and am certainly. And I'm okay with that. Whatever, I don't want to be looking a forty-year-old at age twenty in the future because I used to party all the time in high school. And people are just cruel, they were just jealous because you are such a cooler person than them. I mean, they are a bunch of haters, the ones who bullied. I'm sure that girl who regret not being friends with you no more because she probably realizes how totally rad you are. And remember, you're probably more successful than all of those ratty-ass whores who went to school with you and made fun of you. They are all just probably living in trailers with seven kids and looking like crackheads while you are living your life with no problems and is looking ahead to a more successful future!! You rock, Jules! Remember that!
from hitch-hike :
I had problems with bullies in middle school, so by the time I went to high school I made sure my skin was plenty thick and I had ready-made insults to hurl, but thank goodness the people were nice. Bullying is a problem and I've known people who dropped out or gave up on things that could've bettered their lives, and then we've heard plenty about people who lost all hope... **Hugs** High school is no more, thank god, and at least you were able to find an oasis.
from julymalaise :
Oh yeah! I heard that she sucked asss!!! She's really annoying and very egotistical!! She is just a fame-whore and terribly unintelligent! Oh yeah, my LJ is velvetcartier!
from julymalaise :
Yeah, I actually have a livejournal, so I'll add you, lol. I don't really update it much. Like time I updated it was like never, hahaa. Yeah, the thing i have to tell you, I'll tell you on livejournal, mhkay? Reply back!
from dinahsoar :
Thank you! I do, too! I even have well-worn ballet slippers (I got at a fles market - they fit perfectly) hanging on the wall of my office.
from julymalaise :
It's okay, blogspot is such a confusing website. She wanted her fashion blog to be here, but the signing up process is now all fucked up because of all the scammers and stuff. Anyway, she says "Hi." back and is very flattered. She made a livejournal yesterday (I helped her.) and it is classyteresa.livejournal.com. She hasn't wrote anything in it yet, but there will be entries soon!!
from julymalaise :
Yeah, I'm so upset that I haven't found a job yet. I, like APPLIED everywhere. It is so not fair. Hate this. Anyway, you're learning Swedish? Man, I wanna learn Swedish!! I'm obsessed with anything that is Swedish. And I hope this Russian thing works out. Hopefully, it does. OMG, it will be hard, but it will be worth it. Thanks for your luck, and by the way, need to tell you something...
from julymalaise :
Glad you are liking the comic and OMG, I am so happy you gave me that youtube url. I am now fixated on doing my hair that way and to try out new retro styles. All I have to do is buy bobby pins and I'm set. By they way, I heard Francesca Lia Block is a wonderful writer! I may check her out....
from julymalaise :
Hey girl! Thanks for the suggestions, I really appreciate them!!! You're such a great friend! =) I will check out The Sounds and definetely that Veronica and Betty comic because you know I love Josie and the Pussycats. How's the comic, by the way? Is it totally groovy? Good plotline? Anyway, mhmmhm... Liam Neeson, he's hot. Gotta check out that movie. He looked so yummy in "Ethan Frome." He is really is a fancy man and hey, how do you do Pin curls? You gotta tell me because I curl my hair as well with rollers and I was wondering how you do it the other way! Hahah, sounds stylish. Anyway, We The Kings, good band. I should listen to that song. Listen to "Foutains of Wayne" album and listen to "Sink To the Bottom." OMG, that song is stuck in my head! I totally love it! Well, have a great daayyy, groovy ragazza!
from julymalaise :
Awww.. I'm glad I'm back too, girl!
from julymalaise :
By the way, I missed you, groovy gal! ='(
from julymalaise :
Hey retro-cat, I haven't talk to you in a while! I recently ate gelato too! I was down the shore two weeks ago on a Wednesday and me and mother got gelato. It was my first time eating it and OMG, it was so fucking good! I had the dark chocolate, it was super yummy!
from dinahsoar :
I just like you SO much!
from dinahsoar :
Thanks! I love your exuberance!
from dinahsoar :
Today's entry just took me somewhere wonderful! Thank you for that holiday in the middle of my workday! You are so charming!
from dinahsoar :
You are so fun!
from hitch-hike :
My condolences for this 1-year remembrance.
from dinahsoar :
I'm glad it resonated! You really should ride in a turquoise van! It's magic!
from dinahsoar :
Love your pressies! Happy Birthday, magical girl!
from hitch-hike :
Sorry, I'm a regular member!
from hitch-hike :
Hee-heee!!! That sounds like my kind of birthday! My only question: no tiara? :)
from dinahsoar :
Zappa! Yeah!
from dinahsoar :
Cool skirts!
from hitch-hike :
Here's a surprise: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I remember your birthday is very close to my sister's birthday (end of March/early April) because you're so SPRINGYyyyy!! Have a wonderful one, Julia!!
from sunflowerowl :
I didn't know there was a film based on the book! I really enjoyed it, it was a great book. I'll have to check out the film next time I go to the library.
from sunflowerowl :
blythe dolls! i didn't know wal-mart sold them. they are so cute! i also didn't know revlon had scented nail polish. looks like i'll be going shopping soon. :)
from sunflowerowl :
Your art is awesome! I really like your style. Also love the Hello Kitty car!
from sunflowerowl :
Hi! I really want to see that movie. I heard they're also making Howl (Allen Ginsberg) into a movie. I think James Franco is going to be in it. I just came back from Disneyland right now. I am exshasted! It's good to hear from you! Talk to you soon! (yay black nail polish!)
from sunflowerowl :
Oh, I love Jack Kerouac. ♥ How have you been doing? Glad to see you still update. :3
from julymalaise :
Hello, sorry I'm so late to reply to your message, but I haven't check my notes in a while, I apologize. Yeah, well those people stop fucking with me and it's all good now. Those were funny names, I have called them, it's okay, it was more funnier than serious, so yeah. Grooby tights, and love the Hello Kitty merchandise by the way, I just had to bring that up!! Have a fabu day!!
from hitch-hike :
Oh, Julia, you just had to bring up PUPPIES!! Hahaha!! That definitely got a reaction out of me!! Yes, puppies are soooo irresistible, but they're like having a little kid around at the same time. Well... you know I still love mine!!
from julymalaise :
Well, that's good that you are all right! just sucks that all of those belongings were unfortunately ruined. It's not fair. And yes, Crater Crayon has a penis-shaped head. And his pimples do not help the fact that he looks like a penis with genital warts, like seriously, Imao. Yeah, that bitch was talking behind my back, but whatever. He's a hateeerrrr. Imao "pauly-birdie" that is so funny! Yeah, cute sub is not our sub no more =(, but Judge Judy is actually nice, and not what I thought of her to be. I love having to stay home because of snow too! That way I won't have any homework and just lounge around the house like a lazy cat!!
from hitch-hike :
OMG! Sorry about your nerves & your car! That was scary! That happened to a former roommate, and she made it out of the car. Sip some chamomile, and vedge with your kitty for the next few days!!
from julymalaise :
I am sorry that your things got destroyed, I would be beyond sad as well. What a terrible thing to happen, but it is good that you guys are all right. Hope everything is good now...
from kenny-loo :
your dad's birthday is the same day as my dad's birthday :) how cool.
from dinahsoar :
Your Dad sounds just amazing. It's no wonder you are you!
from kenny-loo :
That doll is beautiful. I like thrift stores. they have so much awsome stuff. My aunt goes all the time and she finds some neat things. The things that excite me are all the old fashioned toys and movies and even better- the records. i want to go back there and get some. The price is so cheap for them. I can't believe you can get so much stuff for so little! in a way, im glad the stuff is so easy to afford so also sad that they reduce some people's memories to a mere buck or two. Anyway, all the stuff you got was great :)
from julymalaise :
Exams were great, and hahah, you like that UFO thang, well it's true. And lol, Euro Boy is so hooootttt. Lol.
from julymalaise :
Thanks for wishing me luck!!! Well, I took one final so far, and it was my italian final, so now I have to take two tommorrow and one on Thursday, and one on Friday. I am taking my math and Greek Myth final tommorrow (If we DO have school!) I hope you find Jackie, it's never fun when a pet becomes missing. You are so lucky school was cancelled for three weeks!!
from dinahsoar :
Just read today's entry. Wow! So much to respond to. First, I so hope Jackie returns unharmed. I loved hearing about your experience at the swimming pool! I love anything that brings us back to happy childhood memories. I went to a swimming pool every day in the summer for years & never was brave enough to dive. I devised a way to swim that kept my hair dry! That was the focus! And I love the circus theme of the upcoming performance. I love Cirque de Soleil! Have you seen it?
from dinahsoar :
Thank you. I'm so glad it had that effect on you.
from julymalaise :
Wow, that lady sounds like a full-blown dictator! I hate teachers who aren't true to their word!!!! Thank gosh noone else had her!! And your French teacher sounds so ridiculous, but the armpit thing sounds so halirious. They should do that at my school, there is a lot of people who stank really bad in my classes. Super-gross!
from dinahsoar :
Really enjoyed the colorful buttons (especially "Thrift Store Whore"!
from julymalaise :
Argh... that sounds embarrassing as well. Yes, I hope he does forget it and I hopefully hope he didn't notice, but I doubt it because he probably felt it =P. Lol. Anyway, yeah, I'll give it some time before formal comes, I'm just so nervous to ask him now!! Wow, that religious sub you had sounds much more horrible than the ugly caveman lady I had!! Wow, I love how she cursed at those boys, did she get in trouble and did any teachers heard her?
from hitch-hike :
I saw your picture... You DO look like Drew Barrymore!!! And there was a famous model, but your face looked like hers!!
from julymalaise :
Thanks for the luck. I did pretty good on the test, despite the fact that Euro Boy was looking at me the whole time with the rest of the class!!! Lol, and I think I know who is your crush..... Ta-ta for now!!
from dinahsoar :
Yet ANOTHER thing we have in common ... I go to a used record/CD store where they have a huge collection of "everything Justin"! What a little twerp! I took a picture hugging a big cardboard stand-up Justin. They have a blanket with his face so huge. My husband said we should arrange it so his huge eye was staring out of our window! We could cancel our security system! Have you seen the poster where he is wearing a black leather jacket and has a wannabe tough look on his face and his little munchkin arms are flexed at his side? I posted it on Facebook with the caption "How would you like to meet HIM in a dark alley?"
from kenny-loo :
Your password has been officially set! make sure that when you log in with your user name (retro-cat) that you spell it (retrocat) together. apparently it won't log you in if you use the dash in the middle. :) Happy Reading! -kenny-loo
from julymalaise :
I know, I was so pissed yesterday. And I think I'm having more snow on Tuesday too!! I hope I do because then I will have no school. And sounds like you had a swelll time with Stew. And who is person you have a crush on? Anyway, about Justin Bieber and Stew doing humping gestures make my crack up!! "Just-in Diapers" is such a creative term to describe JB! LOL! Mandarin's sounds like a groovy asian cusine place! I wanna go there!!
from julymalaise :
Yeah, I'm hoping to not have any school this week because it was snowing yet again!! You guys are lucky you got no school yet in Canada! And yeah, I might really ask Euro Boy!!
from julymalaise :
Omg! You look like Marylin Monroe in your rollers! So cool!
from kenny-loo :
hello! yes, id be glad to give you a password. my diary used to be public (which is just the way i like it) BUT because of a stupid individual, i have been forced to go private. e-mail me at CowgirlK7544@hotmail.com and let me know what password you would like to use for yourself and i'll be glad to add it for you! Thanks! -Kenet :)
from dinahsoar :
You really DO look like a very young Marilyn! Enjoy your party in your Dad's honor! Happy New Year!
from julymalaise :
Thank you for kind words as always!! Hope you have a great New Years as well and I will party, yeaaah!!! I know! I love Rugrats and Muppets! They should bring back all the cartoons so we can have a nostalgia fest!!
from dinahsoar :
Thank you so much.
from dinahsoar :
Did I mention how lovely you are (you run circles around Marilyn Monroe)! Your brave and poignant description of Christmas without your precious Dad brought tears, as this was my first Christmas without my precious Mom (who died in August). My Dad died in 2003. And you list of gifts brough a smile. I love your gifts! They say so much about you! Enjoy your 50's New Years! May the coming year bring continued healing and joy around your memories of your Dad. Thank you for being my "buddy"!
from julymalaise :
Awww... thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the holidays!!! Omg, you always go to the coolest parties for New Years, now this year you are going to a 50's theme, so awesome!!!!! Hahah, yeah, The Apples In Stereo are a pretty good band!!!
from julymalaise :
Oh, that sounds so sweet! (That you made picture for the person you liked!) So cute!! Yeah, I'm just nervous with guys I like, if you can tell by my past previous entries! Hope you had a good holiday, the cat video was cute!!!
from hitch-hike :
Have a wonderful holiday! I miss going to Ontario for the winter holidays with ice skating and then hot cider and donuts :-D Well, they're great memories!! xoxo
from dinahsoar :
I love your entry! I'm all about stopping time! You just sound so wonderful! Great fashion design, too!
from julymalaise :
It was a good show and series, they showed some reruns here on Cartoon Network! And I'll look up R.L Stine up, I always thought he was a girl! hahha! Anyway, I wanna see that movie, sounds so good! Hahah, your cat Fez is adorable!
from dinahsoar :
So you were the original case of "identity theft", huh? Masquarading as "Miss Thrift", huh? And here I was born with that name! That's okay. Fuschia is not my color. I'm a periwinkle blue girl! Thanks for your lovely note! I get such vicarious kicks hearing about all the treasures you find! It helps keep me off of ebay (not nearly as much fun as "thrifting", but will do in a pinch while I'm at work)!
from julymalaise :
I know, he's so cute. And the things you got sound totally cool, especially those R.L. Stine books. Goosebumps is a totally awesome series, I really love them! She should make more, the author. (Is she even a girl, by the way? I don't know.) Anyway, Le Rouge Balone sounds awesome, I wanna watch it.
from dinahsoar :
I so enjoy vicariously hearing about all your thrifting and shopping (believe it or not, my maiden name is Thrift)! Hearing about each item was just delicious. It helps supplement my own treasure hunting every Sunday! Finding Kerouac in the children's section was hilarious! And you are so funny! Who else but you and me could find something we have to have in a tire store (other than tires, that is)! Also, you wheat hearts sound great! Your vinyl collection is amazing, too! So many of my favorites! You have just got to be the funnest person! Even your Debbie Harry picture on your page is so delightfully quirky! I love her! I just got a carved wooden rocker for $20 at the flea market! I'll always find the heaviest, bulkiest item right in the beginning & watch my husband carry it around all day!
from dinahsoar :
You are SO fun!
from dinahsoar :
Actually, I avoid that place for all the memories I shared. It's kind of a "shrine" for me to a lost love.
from julymalaise :
I know, I was totally freaking out about the tornado thing yesterday, but I'm hoping it will not come. Yeah, Euro-Boy is awesome, he goes to my school and I, like see him everyday. And you are right, people do freak over the stupidest things, as if the mice cared about you. However, a rat in science class would be freaky to me, how big was it?
from julymalaise :
As soon as I figure out what to say, which will be very soon.
from julymalaise :
Hey! Hope you had fun thrifting. Sorry, I haven't been on for a while. If you are wondering about the Whole Crater Crayon thing, the problem was resolved and he doesn't bother us anymore, but the same friend now has a different situation at hand. I will tell you later in my entries, tah-tah!
from xnamehere :
aww man, i've had this insane urge to go looking for new clothes too.. it's been a while... and you're not helping! ... and the subway, ah such fond memories of the city.
from dinahsoar :
Your entries are just so damn fun to read! I feel like I'm with you in those funky shops! I go "thrifting" every Sunday! I know that thrill of treasure hunting! My find so far this year was my leather "Almost Famous" style coat with the fur around the collar and down the front! I also got great combat boots & lots of 90's floral mini dresses! It is SO fun!
from dinahsoar :
Well, you were my inspiration for the baton-twirling vignette! You brought that memory back with your own memories. Thank you so much for your feedback. I would LOVE to string these all together someday and maybe find a book in there! Thanks for your encouragement!
from dinahsoar :
LOVE today's entry! You reminded me of twirling batons (watch out! I'll probably post a whole entry about it!). I, too, was Raggedy Ann for Halloween! I there was a time before I was afraid of flying! My Mom said I was singing while everyone was barfing from turbulence! I also loved playing Barbies with my best friend, Toni. We often say that those Barbies kept us out of actual trouble by vicariously acting out everything we wanted to be doing!
from dinahsoar :
Thank you so much for your note (and offer to be a geek if I need one ... which I definitely DO)! I'm glad my writing touches your senses so. That Style hairspray DOES tend to linger!
from hitch-hike :
**Throws Confetti** You win!! Good guess! The picture was from The Warriors!! I had to laugh, but when I saw that pic, I thought it didn't look too different from me and my female relatives! I was 5 when that movie was made, so it's not REALLY us, but the resemblance is pretty close!! LOL!!
from dinahsoar :
Thanks! I'll check it out! I'm VERY low-tech, so I don't know how easy it is to navigate, but I'll try. Thanks again!
from dinahsoar :
Thank you for your note. The Noah's Ark sheets really are whimsically amazing! If I ever upgrade to where I can post pictures, I'll show ya!
from hitch-hike :
I'll go with you in the time machine!! I'll go!!! We must go to Carnaby Street in the 60s!!!
from dinahsoar :
Just fell into your very interesting diary. You tell a story so well, I felt like I was there. I lost my mother just 2 months ago & was moved by your reference to hospice and waiting for the ambulance. I, too, like collecting vintage stuff. Just bought the same kind of record player I had back in the day - a GE Wildcat! I also found the exact sheets I had (wild Noah's Ark pattern) on ebay! Gradually, I'm recreating my first apartment in the back room of my house.
from gomerx :
No, no UFO conspiracy theories for me, but I do adore Alien movies...
from xnamehere :
yeah... my friend made me watch the beatles & cirque de soleil documentary. verry good stuff. that show looks pretty amazing too.
from gomerx :
It's Justin Beiber's song U smile slowed down 800 times!
from hitch-hike :
Sorry, but I had to laugh a little at the story of your friend who ran away; but at second thought (and in my adult brain), it does sound terrible! I can imagine it was creepy for you (you definitely came from a more protected home than I, where such occurrences weren't too unusual). I'm glad to hear she was able to change the direction of her life!!
from gomerx :
I think it's bizarre how you and I were both thinking about hoppin' into the time machine...LOL
from julymalaise :
OMG!? The Killers are broken up? Seriously! No way, I don't believe it! That's crazy, they were such a good band, I hate when good bands break up, it's so stupid! Wow, that cigarette butt lady sounded super rude, I would've been scared to do what Stewart did as well, I agree. Stew's a brave dude! =)
from julymalaise :
No, I actually haven't been to the bookstore lately, to be very honest.
from julymalaise :
Hahha, yeah I know a couple of swear words in Spanish as well. Like "Puta" and "Merda." It's fun learning a new language, especially when noone knows what the fuck you are talking about most of time, which makes it even greater. Yeah, that fan is so funny, his parents didn't bail him out of jail until the next day. I know! They always run in the field in footie matches, but the funny part of it is that the people are so used to it! It's funny. And that guy on the race tracks sounds so scary.
from julymalaise :
Well, I did put my foot down and said, "look there are rules with sharing my locker.." so I told them straight that there will be no mess, do not put all of your stuff in there, and to make room, which is going good now, the locker situation I mean. We were all sharing a locker and it is not messy or crowded, they just books in there, which is great for my benefit. BTW, what a kooky dream!
from gomerx :
Friends!
from gomerx :
nevermind...just found out.
from gomerx :
Hi retro-cat...I was left that skeet skeet message too and you said you know what it means? What does it mean?
from hitch-hike :
I think you need to go see some live music :-) More, that is!!!
from julymalaise :
I will tell you when I find the book. And the problem that I am having is not with a boy, but with a friend. Okay, here is where the story starts. Me and my friend were talking on FB and were discussing how her locker and homeroom was going to be changed because the of the freshmen. So then she asked me if she could use my locker, I will agreed to it without thinking about it. After I wrote it, I thought about it and I was like "Shit, why do I say that?" I hadn't even thought about it. And then she asked if my other friend could use my locker because both of their lockers are far and whatever. So imagine, Jules, three people using a locker? That equals no space. So i asked my mother yesterday and this is what she said "I wouldn't be quick to make a decision that fast, and I know you are trying to be nice, but tell her that you thought about it the second time, and think it is not a good idea." She also told me to be nice about it, so my friend don't get angry, so that is the story. To be honest, it will be really hectic if all three of us share one locker because the lockers at my school aren't that big and stuff, so everything is going to be squished together and stuff get missing, and oh! It will be disaster. So that is my problem. Sorry this is so long.
from julymalaise :
They are very difficult to find, but I have to keep searching more in the library and online as well. Well, my local library has the first one and then the last book, like wtf?!?! That doesn't make sense. I didn't take the last book out because I like to read the whole series first, you know? It just ruins the series by reading the last book. Anyway, it sucks, I can't find "The Sex God." one. I've seen three and four at my school library, but argh, it's frustrating. You are so lucky your friend from the UK sent you the books. Hahhah, Hamburger-a-gogoland. Isn't Austrailia called Kiwi-a-gogoland? Hahha
from julymalaise :
Yep, those videos are awesome. No, I haven't actually read it yet, I actually haven't read the whole series (I read the first and the third.). I have to though, but it is so hard to find the books. Guess I have to search through the big bookstore for them. I saw the book, but I didn't know it was the last in the series. Such a bummer!
from hitch-hike :
Well if you're heading to Live Journal, what is your handle? I want to keep reading! You help me keep it light, otherwise I'd be a totally square, bookish librarian in my manner!!
from julymalaise :
Heey! That Archie comic is a groovy steal!!! And it has Josie and the Pussycats comics inside?!?! I must steal it from you!!! =)
from julymalaise :
So glad to be back, and this time, I'll try to stay for good, I will try to. It will be easy, since I have the laptop now. I will be doing more, since I will have easy access to the internet, unlike my old desktop. Anyway, probably the heat is getting to ya, I know how it feels, stupid heat. It makes you feel all sweaty and aggravated. Take care, miss.
from julymalaise :
Oh, don't leave diaryland, I would be so devastated if you do. Sorry I haven't been on for a while because I would of totally checked in on you, but I didn't have internet for a while and I just got a laptop, so yeah!!! Now I can diaryland all the time.
from hitch-hike :
Kids are a never-ending source of laughter, especially when they get into very minor accidents! When I went to No.Carolina, my man Neil got a retro iron sign for his office: "Hippies Use Side Door" with an arrow!! I got a little magnet for my fridge! Maybe it was something you mentioned buying???
from hitch-hike :
Hey Hoo-lia: Boone was fabulous and such a wonderful getaway! Asheville was also nice and is known as being a hippie community (well, with some 21st century influences). It's highly-HIGHLY recommended and soooooo refreshing. It definitely came in time before my own nervous breakdown would've occurred! Boone and Asheville also had a million cool thrift shops and curio shops you would've enjoyed (along with the energy and clean mountain air)...
from owlheart :
thank you so much ♥
from hitch-hike :
I'm all moved into the new place, except (yikes!), I still have to organize stuff!! I feel like I'm still bouncing between boxes of stuff! However, I like the area! This past Tuesday evening, Neil and I went to the beach that's 1 mile away from my place! Talk about a nice way to end the day!...As for the annoying guest, hmmm, maybe she needs to find something else to keep her occupied that leads outside of your home??? Send her some gentle suggestion, perhaps?
from hitch-hike :
Madame Gypsy Fortune Teller Hitch-hike foresees... a trip to Hungary for you in the near future! Hahaha, well, so you can see your cousin!!
from julymalaise :
Thanks for introducing Sleeper to me. I love when people recommend bands to me and they turn out to be sooooo groovy!! The Fratellis are so effin' awesome!! I love "Chelsea Dagger." So does my mom, lol, she loves that song.
from owlheart :
it's okay, it's like that saying, "you gotta kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince!" :D so very true!
from julymalaise :
Is she really asking? That is so funny. Yeah, Pretty Little Liars is now a show on ABC Family and I wanted to watch it, but I missed it, unfortunately =(. How's the show? Is it good?
from julymalaise :
That's cool that you and your aunt have fun!! That Newspaper Cafe looked so groovy, I am so jealous!! And that is funny that your aunt likes the Kentucky Fried Chicken guy!! Lol!
from owlheart :
(((big hugs to you))) ♥
from hitch-hike :
I could see you enjoying a car like that Ford, but then again I think you'd be at home in a yellow or baby blue VW Bug!!
from russface :

from owlheart :
i'm so sorry you're feeling the same way too. last night i talked to jim and i told him how i've been feeling and we talked it all out and it made me feel so much better. it's really not good to keep things inside. you should talk to someone. if you want, i am always here if you need to talk. ♥
from russface :
Hi, send me an email to spamdump59(at)gmail your former addy does not seem valid anymore.
from hitch-hike :
I'm giggling @ The Beatles artwork (it reminds me of their Yellow Submarine days!). That's some good stuff! I loved drawing so much when I was in high school, and I still have my collections. Teens can be sooooo creative! We really should listen to their ideas more...
from julymalaise :
You are welcome and I hope you do feel better! Aunts are always fun!
from julymalaise :
I'm glad you are feeling a bit better, and I'm so glad you liked what I wrote, and I tried my best, really. Yeah, Johnny's brother was so young to go, poor little caker. It's good that your aunt is coming over! She will console and help you in many ways. Ta-Ta for now! And I truly hope you feel better, girl! Luv ya!
from sunflowerowl :
i'm very sorry for your loss, honey. you'll be in my thoughts. ♥
from hitch-hike :
My sympathies for you and your family's loss... I've enjoyed reading about the things you, mum, and dad had done together. You've definitely enjoyed a relationship many don't have. Grief doesn't have a path or timeline, so follow it to your heart's content. ((((Hugs))))
from hitch-hike :
Sounds like you guys picked a good movie for the drive-in!! For some reason, I always associate comedies with those places! I usually snoozed in the backseat when the adults wanted to watch a drama (boooo)!!
from hitch-hike :
We went to the drive-in back in the summer of 1986! We went there so many times in '85 and '86 that I can't remember what we watched when we saw the boys. I remember laughing a lot, so it must've been a comedy! I do remember watching Top Gun, Beverly Hills Cop, and Goonies at the drive-in! It was the cheapest way to go the movies at that time, but it seems the cool way to go nowadays! **Sighs with nostalgia** One drive-in had a trampoline area next door! They were so fun when I was a little kid because we'd get to play with others. The adults watched the movies, drank a little beer and smoked a doob, but the rest of us ran around like Marley does at the dog park! :-D Those were fun days!!

So not much traffic here lately?
from hitch-hike :
I'm very sorry to hear about your father... I will think good thoughts that he's in good hands, and that you and Mum will have all the support you need to get you through...
from russface :
I know! The band is going great! It's so awesome to be home too. I have two profiles on Facebook, one is a public profile for Dick Satan (the 'a' has little horns above it). And there are photos from a gig we recently did. We backed up a band from Huntsville, AL called Daikaiju. Check out their myspace page. Funny and great bio. dicksatantrio.com gets you to our page which is still quite lacking in it's eventual scope. Thank you very much for staying in touch! I really should blog, eh?
from hitch-hike :
**Feliz cumpleanos a ti!!** Happy birthday to you!!!! Here's to another cosmic year!!
from julymalaise :
Lol, I believe I haven't come across that term. I wonder what it means. Anyway, yeah I forgot my password to my last.fm, but add me to my other one when you remember your username. My username there is jimjamtheory. Lol, Stew did a wonderful job on your hair, it looks so pretty on that girl that I am sure it will look pretty on you. Stew has a new boyfriend? Aww.. soo cute. Don't you love it when your best gay guy friend tells you about his loves? It's so cuytooh!
from hitch-hike :
Marina Vlady? Hmmm, methinks I'll try a flick or two through Netflicks... Thanks for that suggestion. And seriously, I could tattoo 'Love is the Alpha and the Omega' somewhere on me if I weren't scared by needles!!
from julymalaise :
Happy birthday to Bobby. And Happy Late Saint Patrick's Day. Hahhaha. I'm glad diaryland is all back to normal, I seriously was going to cry when the crash happened, hahha. Anyway, you added me on last.fm? Okay, I gots to check that, so I will add you. I'm glad you are good. Take care!
from sunflowerowl :
Hi! Oh, my sister-in-law and I really want that Alice makeup set too. I like the mushrooms around the mirror. It looks so cool!
from julymalaise :
Thanks. I didn't meet him yet though. But yeah. My friend has to introduce me!
from hitch-hike :
I'm sorry to hear your computer is sick. May it get well soon, but keep having fun!!
from julymalaise :
Hope your computer gets fixed soon enough! Lobster is the best nad yeah, I am so scared of doing ice skating, it looks freaky in a breaking-your-neck-way!
from julymalaise :
I know, Wayne Gretsky is the best! I'm glad you're computer is doing fine now, yeah computer can kind of go M.I.A. at the randomest times. That luge guy, I feel so bad for him! He never got a chance to be in the Olympics this year. Terribly sad! Oh, I thought you knew the game Backyard Baseball. It was a really fun game when I played on the computer. But I did heard of ACTUALLY playing Backyard Baseball in real life. Lol! Laytah.
from julymalaise :
The snow stopped here, but I am off again from school, so hoorah! Yeah, I hate guys like that, they think they are so cool, but they are not and they are just freaks! A Camp is awesome!!!!!!!!! I love their song "I Can Buy You." It's my fav. Ha! I wanna hear that Avril Lavigne song that sounds like a chipmunk, what is the title called? That lady with the doggie Ollie sounded cool. Amd Ollie sounded so cute!!! Hey, and Portgeuse chicken sounds like a wonder!!! Hey, have you ever heard of a game called Backyard Baseball? It's a cool game I used to play when I was little, it was a computer game! I still have it!!
from julymalaise :
I know, right? He'z a crazy little number!
from hitch-hike :
**We got the beat! We got the beat! We got the beat! Woooooo!!** I wanna be Belinda Carlyle (circa 1982)!!
from julymalaise :
Yeah, money is not worth fighting for, in my opinion, but yeah. Yeah, I need a job fast! And thank you for saying good luck to me. You know, about Martin! Thanks!
from hitch-hike :
Hey Love... Marley's the world's best puppy! She's opened my heart in so many ways that it's surprised me. She belongs to me and an former beau (but we're still friends). He has full custody, but I have visitation rights (ugh, sounds like a divorce). I'm still in Florida, but this time near your favorite sport 'cause I got a new job 2 years ago and moved. Yeah, lots of changes came about!! Oh, yeah... I got to visit Budapest in 2008 and enjoyed it. They know their history, that's for sure.
from julymalaise :
Yeah, I'm sure that is the best way to do it, to say hi to him. Thanks for the advice, Miss Retro Queen. Lol, I'm going to ask you a question on that website, it will be majorly fun. And I'm sorry to hear about Vic and you, rumors are never fun. :(
from annanotbob :
No, I'm a Brit, in Britain, no idea where the idea of Canada came from xx
from julymalaise :
That song is cool!!!!!!!!
from russface :
Happy New Year! You are welcome to explore MKE with the family. Let us know if you get down here. You have my email.
from julymalaise :
Happy 2010!!! Okay, Angus, Thongs, was on Nickelodeon on New Years day and a fellow diarylander sexonatable told me about it, since I read the first book, so yeah, but I didn't get a chance to read it. Awwww....so cute with you and Vic, I'm so happy for you!!! And that guy at Stew's party sounds like a gross douchebag, seriously men like that should just be isolated in a room with no windows. Like seriously, that was disgusting. But overall, it sounds like you had a pretty good time, considering you guys were listening to the hits of our now last decade and you guys were rollerskating to disco music, now that's fun as hell, I wish I could of done that. I like that song, "Empire State of Mind." by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys, I think it has a good beat to it! I like Alicia Keys, I think she awesome. Jay-Z? Agh, he's okay, I guess. But it still is a pretty cool song. Ta-ta for now, missy!
from julymalaise :
Yeah, it is unbelievable, I would not know what to do with those cats, that will be a crazy life that dude has. They made a movie out of it? Who's in it? I wanna see it soooo bad! Well, I have to read the book first before watch the movie, so it will have to wait. Have a Happy New Year's!!!!!!!!!
from annanotbob :
I am now totally confused about where in the world you are...
from julymalaise :
Merry Christmas to you too, yah, I wake up early at 5 every morning because I have to go to school, it sucks major balls. Anyway, the snow hasn't melted in my area, but they say it's going to rain Friday and it will go away then. Yeah, poor Brittany, RIP! Coooooool, you have a boyfriend, retro-cat has boyfriend, ahhaha!!!
from photofawn :
hi! oh yeah, i got those sock monkey slippers from target a few years ago.
from russface :
I know. I have a lot to talk about too. Miss you as well. Happy Holidaze. We've moved home! Great to be back.
from julymalaise :
Hot chocolate sounds cool! Is it snowing down in your neck of the woods? Lol, way to sound like Al Roker! Anyway, I can't believe Brittany Murphy died!! I loved her in "Uptown Girls." and I was just watching her movie "Love and Other Disasters." Saturday!
from photofawn :
i know. i'm so sad about brittany murphy too. i'm still shocked. she was so young. :(
from julymalaise :
Hey. Oh, I hope Vic's your boyfriend, he does sound pretty cool! Snow is here again and there's going to be a lot, yaaaaaay!!!!!! Yeah, I should to talk to Martin about hanging out, I really like him. Caitlin's Way was a show on Nickelodeon in 2000, with Lindsay Felton. It's about this troubled teen who is an orphan and lives in a ranch with these other people. Hey, good albums!!!! I love them!
from annanotbob :
Great music! I love Mika - well, that album xx
from annanotbob :
Yay!! xx
from annanotbob :
Bloody hell. I'm glad to hear you and your dad and your mom are OK after that NIGHTMARE. Wishing you some better times - I only clicked on you because your user name is so cool and I got drawn RIGHT into your post - glad it ended up OK x
from sunflowerowl :
i'm glad to hear your dad is okay. i'm so sorry you had to go through that. (((big hugs)))
from julymalaise :
Hey, who's Vic? And how have you been? Lol. Haven't talk to ya in a very long time. Hope you are okay.
from sunflowerowl :
surprised cat! oh, how i love that video. so adorable.
from sunflowerowl :
thank you! is your dad ok? i talked to my mom today so i feel a little better. still slightly worried, but not as much because she's been telling me that she feels fine. thanks again for being so sweet! :)
from sunflowerowl :
That Indie Rock coloring book looks awesome!
from sunflowerowl :
Yes! It's a strawberry change purse that I keep my make-up in. Like lipstick, powder compact, brush and a small mirror. My mom got it for me a few years ago. The Bats are so good. Listen to "Up to the Sky" it's my favorite! I'm still working on my comic. That character is the only one I have so far besides her best friend (which is an Owl named Olivia)... David Bowie = LOVE Canada = COOL and as for those shows on TLC... they = unintentionally (maybe) hilarious! :D
from sunflowerowl :
i just read your entry. it made me laugh! that's so funny. i would probably get caught flipping someone the bird too! :D oh yeah, i'm going to do that survey later. awesome t-shirt btw! goodnight my groovy friend!
from sunflowerowl :
hi! :) hope you had a great thanksgiving!
from julymalaise :
Happy thanksgiving to you too!! And thanks for saying thanksgiving to me!!!!! No, I didn't see New Moon, but i was just wondering if you have seen it already, i want to see it too. My shoulder is getting better, thanks for asking, hahaha. Omg! That's scary about the Swine Flu stuff, I do not think I am getting it because I don't know what's in it, you know? So why get it?? I dunno know. Anyway, yeah, I did notice that your diary wasn't functioning as well as it usually does. It took forever to load one day and it open into another page, which rarely ever happens. No, it didn't happen to me, but i am glad that it is all resolved. I looove Enyclopedia Brown too! I have the book!
from sunflowerowl :
Thanks. I altered it at Photobucket. Upload a picture there then go to edit. Once you're there go to effects and select pop art... ha! I almost typed pop TART on accident. :D
from julymalaise :
Thanks for words, I might have to check out that entry and it sucks, doesn't it? by the way, have you seen New Moon, just wondering. Lol, thanks retro-cat again, you are too groovy! And no I hadn't put Vicks rub on it.
from sunflowerowl :
ooh, i love revlon's valentine! <3
from julymalaise :
Hello, yeah, I', glad you like my new layout and thank you! I like yours too. I need a bf too! And I hate the Foo Fighters! I hate David Grohl, he's a creeper. Omg! I love Russia, I wish I had some Russian friends! I would love to live there if I had a chance, and I wouldn't care if I froze to death, I would be the most happiest isicle EVER...lol! I need a Brit boy also! Poor Aaron Carter, he got booted off on Dancing With The Stars, remember how everyone was so crazy about him in the 90's?
from sunflowerowl :
hello :)
from loopykitten :
Kudos on not matching! I sometimes have to wear different socks if I have to look professional on the surface, just to keep myself happy.
from julymalaise :
I know, boys are wierd, you have to be careful around them or they'll think you are flirting with them and stuff like that. It's like I gave you a smile, doesn't mean I want to kiss you or anything. Ugh, wench is a stupid word. And Happy Veteran's Day.
from julymalaise :
Yeah, Garbage is good, I love it! That fire sounds so horrible, poor cat! REst in peace, kitty who died in the fire. Very misfortunate, but like you said, it was a good thing noone was hurt. I like your Halloween icon, how was Halloween? Yeah, Trading Spaces was a good show, but now they have stupid shows like "Jon and Kate Plus Eight." And "Eighteen Kids And Counting.", all of those frou-frou shows. Yeah, more people should be high on life.
from julymalaise :
Thanks for suggesting that band, I totally dig the music. Hey, I love Air! I love the song "Sexy Boy." And Garbage is totally awesome! Yeah, The Pansy is stupid, he really needs to go to Charm School. Ew! Your teachers sounds so nasty, I hate teachers like that. Thinking like you have the problem, but it's really them. Terrible.
from centaurlord :
Yes, David Bowie is super great. I don't know anyone that likes him besides me. My wife says I'm like an old person for likeing him and the Cure and Depeche Mode...
from julymalaise :
I like 90 girl bands too! A good one I recommend to you is Veruca Salt. They are kick-ass in every way and I totally adore Kurt Cobain also, he's too cool, but it's shame he died, he would of probably kept rocking if he hadn't committed suicide. I like your ghost icon thingie!
from julymalaise :
Yes, that girl looks like Lady Gaga and it was so crazy! It's so weird, and hopefully she doesn't own those cocoons. Yeah, a lot of cute guys, but trying to find a decent one that is not an asshole you know? So yeah... I dunno if I am going to trick-o-treat, but I don't know, like I said. Stealing your quiz if you don't mind.
from russface :
I'll add new vids soon. I'm out of the habit!
from julymalaise :
I know, right? Ohemgee! I wish I could be there at the graveyard, ohmygod, I would run out of there in a jiffy, like no lie, man! That is so freaky what you guys experienced. So scary, in a groovy way! The only time I been to a haunted place was Fort Mifflin, which is a Fort near the Delaware, that is supposedly haunted. Unfortunately, we didn't find anything, but we did scare people who were really convinced that there were ghost there when really they weren't out yet, even though I wished they were. Yeah! I woujld run out too! Shit, man! Lol.
from julymalaise :
Sorry I haven't replied to your new and old message, been busy for a while, so now I will reply. Yeah, those boys are so nasty, they talk about like sex 24/7, it is like so digusting! Ew! Thanks for saying you like my halloween layout, I changed it since it is October already! And oh, that girl in the bathroom, she wasn't having direhea, no, when I got out of the bathroom, the lady yelled at me because she said I had "jeans" on and at my school we are not allowed to wear jeans. Yeah, the Georgia Nicholson series are awesome! I'm going to try to look for the second one if I am lucky! Anyway, smoothies sound deelish! I love smoothies! Yum! Yum! Yum! And that was a nice compliment, I want to see that new movie with Drew in it, called "Whip It."
from russface :
Yes! Saw them in a tiny club that isn't around anymore called the Unicorn in MKE. Likin' the Kinderwhore look. (Saw The Mono Men at the same place)
from russface :
Great! I'll try and change them daily again. You may have noticed that I'm having a bloggers block. Lot of stuff going on but not able to put it down like I'm used to. Yes. I've had Hobnobs in England and they sell them here too. Lot's of British expats here in Dubai.
from julymalaise :
Poor Patrick, such a good man. Woah! Cool groovy layout, missy! Yeah, it was cute, wasn't it? I couldn't believe it was over the news though. But um.. lucky you your dad lets you crank up the music in the car, my dad doesn't let me do that, I do not know why, but I do not know, lol. Btw, I love big metal letters!
from russface :
That's great! Now I have a reason to get back in the habit, AND of putting up again, all the ones you missed!
from julymalaise :
I love Luna! Yeah, they should totally just stop judging! And I heard about Partick Swayze, me and my family were so sad about him, he was battling cancer for a long time! Yeah, I heard Obama called Kanye a "jackass." too! Hahhah, talk about the president calling Kanye, he derserves it! Thanks for the recommendation for the movie, groovy gal! Yeah, I am way too excited for the New Moon movie!
from julymalaise :
Congrads on Ginger! Lol, I love kittens so very dearly! Yeah, I hate hairdressers, they messed my hair up as a kid. Well, the ones I didn't know, hahah. Yeah, I am shy also and I get embarrassed all the time, lol. I hate it, I feel so stupid afterwards. And I hate how people are so against gay people when they do not even know them, okay? It's like get to know them before you judge, am I right? That must of sucked, running outside in that unbelievably cold weather, for realz, that is so damn crazy. I love Gordon Levitt, isn't he from Ten Things I Hate About You? and 500 Days of Summer! I always thought he was cute in that sort of way, gosh! Everyone's waiting! Yay!!! I wanna see New Moon really badly, I just recently read the book, which is totally awesome. Thanks for saying you like my layout, and I do wish my dad gets a job soon =( Sucks cocks. I love Taylor Swift! STupid Kanye WEst! Asshole! Anyway, I am glad you like my way of words.
from julymalaise :
Yay! You got the internet back! Woo!!!! I'm glad!
from julymalaise :
Me too! I don't know if it is out in threatres yet here either, but it sucks it is still not playing in your area. Actually, retro-cat, that's not a stupid question! Turns out I don't go to Catholic School, no I go to public school, and we have to wear uniforms, but they are completely different from uniforms for private school. We are laid-back, like we have to wear polo shirts of any color and pants that are khaki, black, and gray, or brown. But I still hate wearing uniforms, they are so stupid. Anyway, aww. I just love cats, my cat Blackie does the same thing as Bobby, he sighs. Yersterday while I was typing, my cat was on my keyboard! That rascal! It was so cute! Lol, at the UFo thing, yeah, it was most definetely a lighting bolt though. About DJ AM, yeah I never knew who he was until he dated her! I was like "Who's this?" when he first dated here, and then after that, his name was like all over the place. I never heard of Digweed, but that name sounds so GROOVY. And you're welcome! =P By the way, I would love to read Kurt Cobain's Journal and Jim Morrison is such a dreamboat!
from sunflowerowl :
My Monday class is full of loud, disruptive people. Just my luck. It totally sucks. BTW, I really like your John Lennon quote in your profile. Regina Spektor does a cover of "Real Love" that is just beautiful. Have you heard it? I'm listening to it right now. Lovely. Well, I hope you're having a nice day or night. Talk to you later. :)
from russface :
Nine (I think)
from julymalaise :
Yeha, that is what I thought when I seen the fried oreos down by the shore. Lol, my mom always says that too when a guy talks to me, ugh, I guess it's a mom thing. The food you ate sounded so wonderful, man, you got me hungry, hahha. That's a good spend, that you got that notebook, that sounds so cool! I heard "Taking Woodstock." is a good movie, I want to see it. And I never knew Chef Ramsey ate a Puffin's HEART??!?! That is so sadistic, how can anyone ever eat a Puffin's body part! How mean! And thanks for telling me to have a great weekend, have a great WEEK! Lol.
from julymalaise :
Hahha, yeah it was super-freaky! Hahha, ho-r-us is so epic, that is truly the greatest. Hhaha, Kill Bill, that's funny! I love Guitar Hero, my mom is thinking about buying it for me for Christmas, lol, Hopefully, she does, but if she doesn't, it's okay. I can just go to a friend's and harrass her to let me play Guitar Hero, just kidding! Sounds like you had a lot of fun, I used to go to baazars when I was little at my high school, but they do not have it anymore, but it was super-groovy! They had tables set up like from every country, I always thought it was amazing. That girl you talk who said that they fry everything down in the States is totally correct! We have fried oreos, but the thought of that is just plain nasty..ew...like I like fried food, for example Fried Chicken, fried rice, but it's like I do not go to the extremes of eating every fried. That is a little bit overboard and highly nasty. Some things aren't meant to be fried. I never heard of chocolate-covered bacon before, but I wouldn't even try it nor even touch it! Hahaha, that couple is just plain nasty, I mean save it for when you get home. I hate when I see people in public groping at each other like they are about to lose the person in a second if they let go...it's like it's too much. Hahhaha, I went on that mouse ride when I was little and I was so scared of it because I thought we were really going to fall off when it abruptly looks like it is going to get off the track like you said. I know, isn't it a wierd ride?
from julymalaise :
Yeah! The guy's name is Ryan Jenkins, and I know, can someone say gruesome? Yeah, Hurricane Bill passed us. It was so miserable out here, we even lost power on Saturday in our house! Poor, Nova Scotia...Sounds like you had a groovy time at the mall!!! Ohmigosh, I guess the mall was really crowded!!Geez, they can at least watch where they are going! Geez, Louise, lolz. Yeah...I was thinking the same thing with the hobags with their heels. I mean if they ever in a pickle, can they just take their shoe off and just chuck it at someone or just beat the hell out of someone with it? It's so crazy. Yeah, you are right, guys are so totally not good with maps, and they think they are the superior gender? Ha! Try again! Lol, yeah, it is sad to see a person you are friends with move away and they just never talk to you again, it is very sad to see that. =(
from sunflowerowl :
Your note reminded me of the first time I met Jim. We were sitting outside on the grass and I was so nervous that I did not make eye contact with him and the entire time I was talking to him I was picking blades of grass and tossing them over my shoes. :D
from julymalaise :
Thanks for saying you like my layout!!!! Yeah, your next-door neighbor sounds totally mean times ten. Hm... and that wasn't nice what he did to poor Morris!!! That load of crap!!! Yeah, I'll be gambling...sike no! Lol. Hhahaha, boys are funny when they are camping, aren't they? They just lose their manliness when they are out in the wild. They are so weak and clumsy. The wilderness is their kyptonite, hahah. Funny about the grasshopper, hahah, I smiled at that. And what happened at the shower thing sounded like something I would do. And yeah, you are right, the boys who are so cute are always taken! Why, god, why?!?! LOl.
from russface :
I really enjoyed your latest entry about your camping trip. Loved the creepy bald guy because he sounded like he looked like me (but I don't hang by the ladies showers ... much). I'd have fixed the shower head if asked. Mosquito's love me too. My dad used to say 'they die when they bite me' which I always liked to hear. My cousin said they don't bother them because they 'get drunk when they bite him.' I have to look at the entry again because I forgot what else there was to comment upon. So much hilarity. Back in Dubai now after an awesome visit back home. Only ten more months here if all goes according to plan. Don't be afraid of bugs too much!
from julymalaise :
I know, he is a total bastard, that is news lately in Philly...thank god fox hunting is banned now! Foxes are very pretty animals and they should not be hunted down like that. Aw.. I am so glad I reminded you the wonders of Swedish Fish and I tried to squeeze some fish in into the screen, but it didn't work! =( Boo!! Lol! That is totally awesome you had a pet squirrel, awww what happened to him? And that must of been really cute when he was begging for peanuts. hahah, they used to call my Science teacher when this year Pee Wee Herman, it was so mean!! Lol!! It must of been quite a laugh, hahhaha (About Scarlett.) Yay! You did the G and P thing, I totally love ghost stories and picnics in the park, I never really had a picnic, I would love to though, in a nice, quiant park..if I could find one.
from julymalaise :
Yeah, internet service is really annoying!!! Jeez, sometimes my computer wants to be bipolar and sometimes disconnects me from the net when I am in the middle of writing whether a large porportion of writing and doing something really important, like research. That explains about the cats. I love cats, I think they are super-special and cute! Yeah, I hate people who just leave their cats to die in some deserted area. They know they are going to starve, why do that? That is animal cruelty and neglecting a poor innocent animal. If you can't take care of the animal, take it to a local animal shelter, instead of just leaving it to die. I could never do that because I love animals to death and I would feel so bad and guilty that I killed a living thing. I love kittens, they are so cute!! Aww, racoons are cute too! And I think it is really great of you to help save those neglected felines! Go retro-cat! Yeah, there was a possum in my backyard once and my cat was meowing to it, my cat has a friend that is a girl, but she doesn't talk to him anymore. But my same cat also has a squirrel friends who always comes around and talks to Blackie. The squirrel is not afraid of Blackie, because Blackie is so mellow and is not your average cat that hunts things. Lol, he is a lover, not a fighter!!! I hate nightmares, I have the wierdest dreams a person could ever have, like really. Yeah, I do not think it is right to parade your three-year-old in some dumb peagant, and you're right. Poor Jon Benet, how tragic! Kill Bill was a great movie, and lol is it still hot down there? That sucks, and who drew a mustache on Scarlet? :p
from sunflowerowl :
I hope you don't mind that I added you. I like your diary! :)
from xxholding-on :

from julymalaise :
Hello retro-cat. Omigosh! Yes, I hate those commercial so much!!! But never had I saw that one with the Christmas jingle, I keep seeing the one with the "Easy Button." from Staples, gosh it is annoying me. Yeah, it was fun cooking, and yeah my dad made good brownies, yummy!!!Hahahaha, I love Lasagna!! it's the best food EVER made. Yeah, I miss my camp friends dearly, and I couldn't even find them on the computer, it's shame I wish I had a reunion of some sort. They should not made fun of you or Joey, just because they are different doesn't mean they are weird. They wer so mean to him, they didn't like him becuase he was allergic to Peanut butter. This one girl, Leann breathed Peanut Butter into his face, but he didn't get affected by it, it is when he eat Peanut butter, he gets a reaction, but i still thought that was really rude. I hate responisibiity, boo! Lol, I would of been really terrified if that man walked up to me and said "You had just met Jesus." I would be like "WTF?" and run out, lol. Maybe it was him, lol like you said, just kidding! Yeah, I hate immature boys, they are so dumb and stupid. I was going to beat that person up thata was talking crap, but i didn't know how it was. Hahhaha "feels like im typing in the Mogabi Desert" is best line EVER!!! Hahhaha, who is Ginger? Is it another cat of yours besides Bobby? Or is just a stray cat? Just wondering. Hahhah, what is up with cities with capitals? There is a Paris, Texas. Even here in PA, there is a California, PA and a Bethlehem, PA!! It's all too crazy. And that dream with Harry Potter must of been really wacky. He turned the cars into magic carpets! That must of been really funny. Aww, that sucks you fell in the lake and a frog was on your head, hahah blame it on Harry!! Lol. And yeah, I hate those little kid pageants, they are so fucking dumb and that is like child abuse or whatever, because what are you working your child and putting all of these layers of makeup on their face at four? And aren't you the least concern about child molesters? They need to worry about their child's lives than their child's paycheck, like seriously.
from julymalaise :
You're welcome for the password! Oh! I never knew Nina was in another band called "A Camp." I though she was still part of the Cardigans. Wow, it seems like you had a groovy night, actually. Yeah, it's starting to get hot and next week, I heard around PA it is going to be 100 degrees! Phew! Talk about temperature, lol. Yeah, my mom is the same way, she likes to talk about her exes too. Like one time, she told me about her ex who liked to watch Hockey and listen to the band Nirvana, she said he would listen to it ALL the time! Hahha, but she didn't mind, she like the band. Oh my goodness, what it a ex that slapped you in the face? That dumb bastards, I hate guys these days, they are so retarted, act like macho men when they aren't, and are so fucking shallow. Cheerleaders are bitches, I actually met a nice one though, but she is not a cheerleader no longer. She was a heavy party girl, but then she changed for the greater good, which is really awesome, I guess. She's a nice girl, always has been, but she has been influenced by these slutty girls around my neighborhood, like seriously.
from julymalaise :
Yes, the Wannadies are Swedish!! Oh my gosh, thanks for recomending that band to me! Sounds totally groovy. By the way, love the new look, fabulous really! You are so lucky that you have The Wannadies recorded! What? Do you like see them in concert? "You and Me Song." is a cool song, it was featured in Romeo + Juliet, the Leonardo DiCaprio version. That was where I heard the song from and I fell in love with the band, they are absolutely groovy! There is swedish band too, they are cool, called "The Cardigans." "Lovefool." and "My FAvourite Game." are pretty good songs, they are a rockin' great band. Yeah, I want to read that book so badly. And sure, of course, here is the password for goodluckgold. username: retro-cat password: groovy. Have fun!
from xxholding-on :
i saw that you were 'online' in the users online section. and thank you so much!
from xxholding-on :
hi i saw you were online and i really wanted the vote from diaryland towards a contest i joined. It's a coach marketing contest and i need as many votes as i can get, please help! http://www.brickfish.com/Pages/PhotosAlbums/PhotoView.aspx?picid=975395_34070543&pid=2767347&scid=452
from julymalaise :
By the way, I love The Craft! Ah-mazing movie!
from julymalaise :
Oh my god,The Wannadies are so groovy, aren't they? What is your favorite song by them, I love them so much, they are my favorite band EVER. Anyways, yeah some diary was talking about pantyhose and I was like "What?" Ohemgee, I can't believe you went skinny dipping! Oh my gosh, I never swam in a lake before, I would love to though, sounds fun. And my cats HATES taking baths, sometimes we bathe them because they get dirty easily, but they don't like it, Bobby loves water! I bet!
from julymalaise :
Yeah. You should definetely read the book "The Girl With The Pearl Earring." and I never knew Johanssen played Griet. Yeah, I read all the clique books, Dial L for Loser was cool! That is awesome you are working on a painting, I wish I was good at painting and stuff, but I'm not, lol, but I am a good writer, I like to write stories, so that kind of keeps me occupied when I am bored, hahahha. I luv cats. My cat Blackie likes to go outside, we let him, but we keep an eye on him, though. But he doesn't try to escape or anything, he just lays his fat butt on the grass, being lazy. The other day, though we hadn't noticied it was thunder and lighting outside because we didn't hear it because we had the fans on and the AC and my cat was outside! We quickly got him in and he was not affected that there was lighting streaks outside and that it was raining, he's just a happy-go-lucky cat. Cats are cute and I think that cat survived because usually when cats fall, they will land on their feet. So if a cat feel from that place, he would surive, just have a few minor injuries. No wonder why they say cats had nine lives.
from julymalaise :
Hey retro grrrrrrrrrrrl, That painting looks so pretty and how was "The Clique?" I'm sure it was terrifc and so totally groovy. Have you ever read the books? Just wondering.
from julymalaise :
Hey retro-cat, Yes, Willy Wonka is supberb and so is Hershey candy bars, hahahahha. Yeah, I know like owls now, especially the white ones because they are gorgeous. And I liked tose paririe dogs, they were so quirky. Oh yeah, I seen Sasha Baren Cohen without the Borat and the Bruno disguise before, he looks so good-natured and you're right, a sweet British accent!!! Hey, have you read the books the "The Clique?" I read all of them, I just finished the latest one called "Boys R Us." It was really cool. Though I have never watched the movie, but I want to. Yeah, I would like to see Bruno, but I don't even know if I'm going to go to the movies, *Sigh*
from julymalaise :
Hey retro-cat, I didn't see Harry Potter yet, but next Sunday I am. I want to see Bruno so badly too! I heart Bruno, he is so halirious. It seems like all I want to see is like EVERYTIHNG that is currently showing in theatres. Summer movies are the best, like seriously!
from russface :
Now I'm in the mood to hit a drive in. Public Enemy (Enemies?) had some parts filmed in Milwaukee.
from julymalaise :
Hello, retro-cat, thanks for the groovy message you sent on my new diary and thanks for saying that about me and I am glad that you like my new username. You are an awesome person tooo!!!!! Anyways, I heart Lady Gaga, her music is sooooo groovy, like seriously, she is so awesome. Woah, you have really cool friends and is it seriously 21 degrees in Canada, oh wait do you Celsius instead of Farenheit? Hahahha, I'm soooooo stupid. The zoo sounds way fun, I love the zoo. The animals are absolutely adorable, I like the polar exhibit, where you see Polar Bears swimming and Penguins and other artic animals and oh my gosh! It is way fun. Yeah, it's very sad that MJ did that.... hopefully he rests in peace. You're sooooo grooooooooooovy!!! :P Later. -H.
from goodluckgold :
Wow, sounds like you had a good day. I have to clean up my room also, it's a horrible mess. I soooo envy your groovy telephone, so sophicated! Fudge Factory is the greatest, I will always see that place when I go down to the shore. Lovely atmosphere as I should say. We haven't been experiencing any hot weather lately, it's still cool in Philly, which is good. Those flower are absolutely beautiful, love them!
from goodluckgold :
Hahhaha, you're welcome. Well, it wasn't a cartoon actually, it's an computer game back in like in the late nineties-early twenties, yes I heard about Punky Brewster, awesome chick
from russface :
Big smile. Just joshin' ya.
from russface :
Naughty. How did you screw up the timing? You owe that poor guy a lunch with beers, even if he DOES like Led Zeppelin.
from goodluckgold :
Wow, you must of been very scared. I was scared too, and I was tired, I was trying to sleep, but yet you hear all of these noises outside. Wow, I never knew that about Canada and the U.K., thanks for telling me that.
from russface :
Yeah. England is kind of the same way. I don't know why that is. With all the parkland available, you'd think it would be a no brainer to whack in a couple of courts per park and be done with it. They make playgrounds, why not courts. They require so little upkeep. It's those 'little' differences as Vince Vega said.
from russface :
I like bong dreams.
from russface :
Moscow Mules are a vodka highball. In a tall glass with ice add: Shot of vodka (Stoli?) dash of angostura bitters 1/2 shot of lemon juice top with ginger beer or ginger ale In Milwaukee, it's free to play tennis in many of the parks. In England, one usually has to pay(!). Weird. How does it work in Canada? I have been playing lately because it's the only game I don't hate that much.
from goodluckgold :
Hey its me... again. Hahhahahha, you had those frosties from Wendy's? Is that the same frosties that those funny people are singing. They're all like "Babyyyyy, you wanna get frosty with me?" I always crack up when I see that freaking commercial!!! I love it!
from goodluckgold :
Thanks for welcoming back, you little groover. Yeah, it does fit your personality that picture. Yeh, why did Romeo and Juliet had to die?!? I wanted Willy to make them alive so they could run away to Mantua like the Friar had planned it to happen. Really? I knew there was a Verona! Wow, it's a goth city, totally awesome! Yeah, maybe Edward Cullen lurks around there, sike no! Ciao, Sammy
from goodluckgold :
Hey girl, Archie Andrews is my favorite red-head too!
from goodluckgold :
Hey sorry this is late, but um... yeah Leonard Whiting is so cute, if I lived in the 1960's, I will totally date, but unfortunately he's old now. (If only he was immortal.) So how have you been? Hopefully, good. I like your new layout, missy.
from russface :
Yeah. The impact (pun intended) didn't wig me until later. I'm not real crazy about oceans either. In fact, I received a jelly sting (very minor) that day. The beauty, and despair (over denuded coral) outweighs any fear.
from russface :
I thought your dream was wack! Fun to read about.
from goodluckgold :
Happy Earth day, well yesterday was Earth Day, but still... everyday can be Earth Day!!! If more people like you and me recycle!!! Sounds like you got your recycling groove on at work! good job retro-cat!!! Yeah, tennis is sooo fun, but it is very sore to play. Omigosh, I am good at serving, but I am not good at hitting the ball when the person hits it back to you, lol. Terrance is so retarted, I like Martin now. Lol, the annoy-boy, cute!!! That's what I am going to call him if I ever talk to anyone about him (Which I highly doubt, but hey you never know.) Laytah, Sistah. Sammy
from goodluckgold :
How groovy does a vegan picnic is? Totally awesome girl!!! Yeah, I don't get it either why they call it Badminton. It's fun, but I have forgotten how to play it. Hahhha, I wanna see Summer-Cleaning movie, wsa it good?
from russface :
smiling... You must have a whole room sized closet for all the 'stuff' you buy.
from goodluckgold :
Hey Jules.. yeah Martin's pretty groovy, he is so nice. Yeah, mom are like that. Yeah, I would wear jammies to the White house too, only if they have Obama's face on it. I love Obama. You totally have to read the book, it is very awesome. Really? This Adam guys looks like Robert Pattison? Ohh, yummy! Vampires are totally hot!!! Yeah, it's a great classice, R&J. Yeah, I watch some of it of that version. Leo is cute as always, it was a very weird set-up of a movie. Mercuito is too funny!
from goodluckgold :
I miss you too,retro gal!!!

Hey retro-cat, I just read your journal! Happy Friday the 13th, lol just kidding. Happy Valentine's Day and hey! We're supposed to have rain too and we were having lots of cold and windy days. Brrr!!! Anyways, Omigod! Kids are so funny, can't blame them! Gosh! That must of been funny with the cupcake on the shoe, it'll be more funnier if the mom stuck her foot in it and mushed the cupcake in her feet.
from goodluckgold :
Hey retro-cat, Well, I guess Andrew the current state of the Union right now, I can't even look at Terrance, he is making be sick of him. Anyways, I tried to negoiate with my teacher that I didn't know that she was coping off my test, but she ignored me. She seemed to be having a bad day, but she didn't have to be a bitch about it, you know? Science is cool, I guess. We don't dissect things till next year and I might skip the dissecting part, maybe I'll stay home too!!! Sam

from goodluckgold :
Hey retro-cat, it's me again!!! Omigawd, I think they like Scarlett because of her jugs, because this weirdos at school are like going thru a star magazine and they were like "Halle Berry has a sexy body" and like "Scarlet Johanessen, look at those boobs, wow!" Tehy're such perverts, guys. I love Coldplay, they're awesome!!! Did that girl seriously thought Green Day was a holiday?!?! You got to be kidding me! Lol, she sounds like an airhead.
from goodluckgold :
Hey hey, hey Jules, I looooooooooooove Shai Lebeouf, and isn't it wierd? I think boys with glasses is so cute, it's like a turn-on, it's just crazy.
from russface :

from goodluckgold :
I agree with you 100% percent guys, thay are such wankers, like you said they are! Brady is a wierdo, Andy has to pretend to nice.... at least, if he know how to do that (Doubt that he does.) And Terrannce, WHERE IS TERRANCE?!?! Lol, I love those telephone booths too, the old-fashioned and would totally use it if I see on in Philly. They are better than those filthy telephone thingies nowadays.
from goodluckgold :

Too bad you didn't live near SF. There was a LOT of cool stuff you'd have had fun browsing through. I'm REALLY worried about the Soldier Boy.
from russface :
If you lived in The States, I'd be VERY worried about soldier boy. But as you live in Canada, I'd just be a 'little' worried.
from goodluckgold :
Hey, retro-cat That new guy at work, is it possible he has post-pre war symtom or whatever the hell that is called? Lol. And is he old? And he wears his army uniform to work? I wouldn't surprised if he ducked and cover when there's a paper jam on the printer, hahhaha. I hate those chain messaging, they just annoy me, it's just annoy reading the same shit over and over and it's like "If you don't send this, you'll die in a month. This is a true story, when Mitchell got this message, he just marked it as spam and a month later he fell off a tree and broke his neck." I mean like gimme a break. That's a bunch of bullshit. I hate sending it to people, it's really stupid and dumb. Toodles! Sammy
from russface :
Next time take your mom shopping for bras and show her how easy it is. Fun post and, oh, hello!
from revolution3 :
OMG! I read "-25 windchill" and got the shivers.. haha! I live in arizona, and it's like thee driest, sunniest place in the US.. it's 70 degrees F here and THAT's chilly for us! haha! and another thing.. ditto to "righteous kill" being just a drag. al pachino and robert deniro.. you'd THINK that'd be golden, but it was the only movie I've seen in theatres that I've ever fell asleep during >< hahah!
from goodluckgold :
I know, Kev's annoying me, seriously!
from goodluckgold :
Hey retro-cat, Yeah, they do have some Raiunforest Cafe here in the U.S., I think there's still one in New York, lol! I feel so bad for Jett! And omg, I never had a friend who had seizures all the time, I would of been scared of their life if I my friend had a seizure in front of me.
from russface :
Mott was my faves back in the day. Find "All The Way From Memphis - Live" on youtube. Great! The lip synced TOTP version of "Roll Away The Stone" is amusing but ... I can't hang with lip sync.
from revolution3 :
I LOVE THE RAINFOREST CAFE. haha! which one did you go to? there are only a few in the country, yeah? luckyyy! and congrats [?!?] on having a far out new year (: sounds like you had a gas!
from goodluckgold :
Hey Jules!! Sounds like you had a hell of a time, must of been way cool to play "Are you Smarter than A Fifth Grader?" I always wanted to play that, just to see if I WAS smarter than a fifth grader, which I highly doubt (Just Kidding!) You brought me back memories when you wrote about how you went to the Rainforest Cafe. I never knew they still existed, they closed down one when I was eight. I was so scared of that place when I was little, I always thought those mechanical monkey were real and the snakes! Oh my! Was I scared! Looking back to that makes me laugh of how terrified I was at that place, I mean it's all fake, hahaha. Well, I DID like the sound effects that made it seemed it was raining. It was so relaxing. Your New Year's sounds so similar to mine, me and my mom's friends and neighbors of her friend came over my mom's friend house and play guitar hero and they were singing to the songs. Hahahhaa, I was playing the guitar, it was awesome. OMG, you heard about John Travolta's son, that it drown in the bathtub and DIED? How horrible for him! I feel bad. Sammy
from goodluckgold :

from goodluckgold :
Hey, hey, hey I love that game you put in your diary, I love Archie Comics, Aurura Borealis and Archie comics! lol! I wanna play tha game too. Tony and Zeke should go out! hahaha! Omigod, I can't believe Paulo would do that! That little fresh creeper! And Madeliene liked it! Ew! lol that must of been funny when he was pressing the repeat button several times and of course this happens when the teacher isn't there, In English, some girl was crying and my english teacher and the student had to go outside to talk and then once she left the room, everyone started t o throw shit everywhere, I was ike What the hell? Omigod, I don't know what gotten into my friends at lunch, but they were crazy as shit as if they were high on..... sugar! Lol! hahaha, they would be nasty with that guy belching, but I'll be cracking up and I bet your cafeteria was probably dead silent when this kid do that. Sam
from goodluckgold :
Omg Hey girlll! Yeah, Andy came back from Cali, where he was orginially from. I was so happy! And Jared is a really, really, BIG nerd, more nerdier than Zeke, who is nerdy, but a cute nerd Zeke, but an complete asswipe, hahahaha. Omg Tony is so ANNOYING!!!!!! He is so wierd like Zeke, lol! And Macbeth lol! That guy Paulo, what did he do that was so nasty? Sam
from loopykitten :
Hmmmmm I was going to go with the obvious but in lieu of your latest entry mentioning Mama Mia and Abba, let's go with A. I give you the letter A!
from russface :
You still aren't able to watch the video I put on the site because if you were, you'd be able to watch Jaan Pahechan Ho, the song that is my criteria for taking the class. Ghost World turned me onto it. I purchased the album Doob doob a rama so I could DJ with it back home. I too watch it consistently on youtube. Why can't you watch vids? Do you only have a work computer? If so. You are missing out on a lot of retro-cat style vids that I change daily. Ok, I'm going to read your latest posting.
from goodluckgold :
Hey retro-cat, Yeah, I felt bad for him, but yet it was so funny when he got dropped because he acts so tough all the time and it was good to see his weak side, kinda! Poor Matt! I wonder how it is like being thrown in a trashcan! That is ten times worse than being dropped, you're all stinky and and at your worst. That's mean everybody was making fun of him? But that was funny about the banana peel, I love banana peels!!! Oh we played Dodgeball again and we lost, we suck!I wanna see the Dark Knight and I loooooooove the Spider-man movies!!!!!! Sam
from loopykitten :
Yup it's my artwork (sorry I've been awol). Thank you so much ! I'm glad you like it, that crow piece is my very favorite. I'll be putting up new ones once in a while though. Right now I'm making medusa. :)
from russface :
Mild stimulant (catha edulis Forssk)used a lot in Yemen and other areas. It's leaves are chewed and I tried some. It tasted like leaves and I think I spelled it incorrectly. Shoule be "kat" or "quat" or some shit ...
from goodluckgold :
Hey Hey Hey, Hahaha, Billy-Joe! I can't wait for Green Day's album, it sounds like a good name!! I love Volleyball too, but I hate serving also because I really suck at it. And yeah, that Colin kid, yeah they think he likes me, but I don't know. He's nice and cool, but he's not my type, but oh well hahahaha. Omg! I can't believe Tony, you must of been cracking up so much!!! An embarrassing thing happened to Zeke also, but it's kinda cruel, but I thought it was funny, he got dropped by some dude named Jared, who is this tall kid, they were just playing around, but now Zeke is like humiliated because people in the hallway were going up to him and were like, "Hey! Aren't you the kid who got dropped?" Apparently, everyone saw him, I kinda feel bad for him. Omg, I can't believe Tony squeezed your booty, that little rascal! I heard the Dark Knight was super-awesomeness, my friend watched it four times, that is how much she loved it and I think an Austrailian accent is sexy and cute in a guy! hahahahaha! Also a Italian accent also. I loooooooooooove Twiggy and I like her green dress where she is holding the two puppies in her hand and the white dress below. She is so gorgeous! Sammy
from goodluckgold :
Hello retro-cat!!!! Sup G? hahahha! Yeah, it was really fun helping bake cookies for the soldiers, and I agree with you a hundred percent, they should come home soon! And I love dodgeball, just not the part when you get hit, hahhahah! And really? They did fight for you when you were picked for dodgeball? You must of been like stuck in the middle. And I'm so happy I've found my freaking math book! And no, I hadn't seen the Ap Alternative cover and I'm sure Billy-Joe is steaming like a fucking suana hotter than the sun! hahahaa When is Green Day releasing their new album? I want to know! I haven't heard any new songs from them lately. That book Cupake looks awesome, I going to check that out when I go to the bookstore...... OMG I LOVE STARBUCKS!!! I have a starbucks around the corner of my school, so I can go there when it's really, really, chilly after school and go there! Ooooh, I saw that big gigantic dog too!! In a commerical! I also saw the Rhino too and it is like so expensive! I think the dog is named Biscuit! My mom wanted the Rhino, she said give that to her for Christmas, I was like "Oh yeah, right." I saw that thing and it was hugmonous!!!!!!!!!! I don't think that is a good present for little kids because they might get scared of it thinking it's a real rhino and the parents would spend like 200 and something dollars on it. Hahahaha! I thought it was cute! I would want it for myself too! Sam
from goodluckgold :
It must of been fun, ballet. And same to you, have an super-suigggly-suana weeekend!!!!
from goodluckgold :
I hope you feel better and that was very sweet of your friend Stewart to call you and see if you're doing fine. Now that's a very good friend right there! Sam
from goodluckgold :
hey retro-cat, Hahaha, that Lyndsey girl sounded like a big pest, if I was one of the people, I've punched her in the face and was ballet fun? It probably was!!!! And that cartoon show seems cool, but they're all dressed weird!!! Hahahha! Sam
from goodluckgold :
Hey retrro-cat. I loove Soccer too, but I felt I hit that girl on the face, it was by accident, I apologize anyway. Yeah, my math book is somewhere, I lost it! Sam
from goodluckgold :
omg, I never had Greek food before, but I imagine it would be very good to eat. OMG! I hate the same experience with a lady bitching about her food, it was at Mcdonald's and she was very pissed, I was like to my friend Roxy "oh shit, that lady is pissed off." and she laughed
from goodluckgold :
hey retro-cat, I'm glad you made it through the mall, I actually went to the mall the other day it was fun. And you're welcome I called you super-fab, hahaha! And you are right, boys are strange, and he wants you to call him Tony the Tiger, so LOL! And he growls? You must be laughing your head off when he does that, I would be!! And I am glad I got rid of my virus and I can't believe that Austrailian dude, how disgusting. Thanks for the website link and saying you like my template!! Sam
from russface :
Thank you!
from goodluckgold :
hey retro-cat, Wassup girl? omg, I know, Black friday is terribly crazy and you are right, there is a traffic jam of soccer moms who seem to be impatient and like wanna punch the nearest person for no apparent reason. Hahahaha good luck when you go to the mall, stay armed, my friend! hahaha. Oh, I never knew you celebrate Thanksgiving in October, it makes more sense clebrating it in October than November because that's when Fall starts. And Zeke is kinda cute and he's like Tony tho,a geeky funky boy-in-baggy-pants type too. But he is seriously strange sometimes, but in a funny way you know? Well, have a fabulous day! Sam
from goodluckgold :
omg i totally agree with your latest entry with the whole John Lennon thingie and how come I never heard about this bombings in India, hmmm gotta watch the news more and oooooh! Someone likes you at your work!! And is this Tony guy cute?? Sam
from goodluckgold :

Send them to Mars! hahaha! And omigod I know Zeke is totally into me, he keeps poking me at lunch. And that's okay about the typ-o, hahaha! And Happpy thanksgiving to you too. How was your turkey day? Sam
from goodluckgold :
Hey retro-cat, yeah, it was freaky!! I was so scared. Lol! Mr. Beaudet sounds like has an addiction to Dunkin Donuts, have you consider of sending him to the donut rehab?hahaha. just kidding! Oh and I know, don't you just hate that when people throw stuff at you when they borrow it, it is seriously annoying and it makes me wanna punch the crap out of them. Rose sounds rude and selfish. Okay, first she copied off of you and THEN told everybody that you copied, hold up that is not a good friend there. I've had a lot of friends like that, it is a shame. Sammy!!!!
from goodluckgold :
OMG the oujia board is so fucking crazy, I played that crap too! One time me and my friend Shyanne were like playing it and we were seeing tiny orbs all over that day at the house we played at (we were at my aunt's house.) It sooo freaky!!! Hahahaha! that was funny with the bald dudes and the gum, hahaha, that is totally awesome and badass at the same time!!
from goodluckgold :
hello, yeah omg I used to watch Sabrina too and I don't know what happened to Melissa, but she was a great actress!!! Anyways, yeah the boys were absouletly crazy when the fight erupted, they were like "Oh shit!!" I don't know why they get so turned by that, it's really weird. Sam
from goodluckgold :
Hey retro! OMG I SOOO ENVY YOU RIGHT NOW!!! :P I loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove Josie and the Pussycats and I would really like to have one comic of it so I'll keep it forever!! But I read some of the comics online, but I want to own a copy you know? I also like Sabrina the Teenage Witch comics too! I need to go to flea markets, but I have to find some around here. Do you have the one that says "She's Josie" on it or the ones that says "Josie and the Pussycats" on the cover? Just wondering!! hahahahaha! Sam
from goodluckgold :
Hey retro! Yeah, I wanted that book and people from the UK are seriously funny!!! Anyways, I suck at math, like I try and try, but it doesn't seem to work with me, I guess it is not meant to be to understand the freaking math problems you know? And thanks for congradulating me on my grades, and lol! I looooooooove Cadbury chocolate. If it's Easter, I'll give Mr. Cadbury some of the Cadbury chocolate hahahaha! And ur friend Mikey was cool letting you skateboard in the hallways, did you ever get in trouble for doing that in your school? And that is so lol how he terrorizes the class, lol! And I know, math should be banned forever!!!! Sammy
from goodluckgold :
hi retro-cat! I just got your message! hahaha! About the books? So yeah... I heard about the Truth or dare books and the book about the snogging thing and about the girl named Georgia, yeah I wanted that book from the bookstore actually! but I couldn't find the first book of the series. Is it the series with the cat on the front cover? And I'll definetely check out the other books and that book "The secret life of the social butterflies" sounds pretty neat. And cool, Canada is awesoome!!!!

from russface :
Saw Queen last night. Pretty good. Too many power ballads though.
from goodluckgold :
Hello, I was looking at your diary and I love vintage stuff too, expecially the fashions of the 60s, it's very chic and I love the vintage Archie comics and Josie and the Pussycats. I'm from PA, where are you from? Comment back Sammy PS. May I add you to my list please?
from russface :
The Hungarian Walnut kugel thing sounds good. There's an LSD thing on youtube that the BBC did awhile back while Kesey was still alive. The bus is not that trashed in it. I guess the doc was older than I thought.
from russface :
Hi. Sorry the pumpkin didn't turn out. They do require finer carving tools I guess. Try again next year. And yes, I'm familiar with Glastonbury (we lived in London for five years) but I didn't go. I DID take my nephew to an Ozzfest as he was into heavy mental at the time and I can get into it occasionally. I outlasted his ass in the pit. Dave Grohl whose Foo Fighters substituted for Korn thanked the audience for not throwing piss at them. Rather funny I thought.
from russface :
Hey. Me again. There's this site: http://www.fabulousliving.com/component/resource/article/273/21466 where you can get stencils for your pumpkins. I've done a couple of them and they're a bit of a pain but look cool. You need to prick the outlines and then carve INTO the pumpkin without completely piercing it. Not traditional but different.
from russface :
Your latest entry made my stomach growl with all the food description. Are you a chef or one in training?
from russface :
Sorry for seeming the pesky equivalent of your creepy dancing at Oktoberfest guy but if you like Hullabaloo (all lip synced) look at my vids. Leave me a note or comment and add me as your new best friend.
from revolution3 :

Yeah, I love racoons, they are so sweet. The cheetos is how I tamed my last little one, he was so adorable, we used to sit next to each other sharing a bag. Not the healthiest for them, but hey, at least he was happy. The Labyrinth game must be hilarious :)
from loopykitten :
Racoons also love cheetos, just so you know :)
from loopykitten :

from loopykitten :
Oh hun, I just read about your fish, I'm so sorry. When I was a kid I had a carp that acted the same way, she loved getting pet. Hope you feel better soon.
from konbu :
Hey, I wish America had a national family day. But yeah, meh on long distance relationships. I have mixed feelings about them. I had one that worked and one that didn't work, so that leaves me totally ambivalent.
from loopykitten :
I felt the same way when I thought about him. And then I saw the last interview he did for the Batman movie, and there was something about him that wasn't quite right. You could tell he was extremely depressed for some reason. Either that, or that he was using drugs, possibly heroin. (I know from spending too much time with street people, how every drug affect you in a different way). It was odd, because I never thought of him as one succumbing to drugs or depression. Ugh, how sad.
from loopykitten :
Thank you ! I don't know where the life saver shirt is from because it was a gift, sorry :)
from loopykitten :
Go on the date... you never know if you might not meet prince charming after all. And if he's horrible, well it's only a few hours of your evening wasted, and you get a free meal!
from centaurlord :
Hi, i see you added me to you favorite diary list... how did you find me??? i think it is cool some one is still reading my ramblings
from loopykitten :
Have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. Talk to you in 2008
from konbu :
Amelie's haircut was the cutest!
from konbu :
Oh yeah, I love thrifting. I like knowing how clothes will fit AFTER you wash them, and you can't tell that at regular stores. Plus since I sew, I can fix most of the reasons people donated the clothes in the first place.
from konbu :
There is a "You Can't Do That On Television" website here --> http://www.ycdtotv.com/ You can watch it on youtube too!!! They had a whole Halloween episode, in 3 parts. Just as funny as it was back in the day too.
from loopykitten :
New coats are the best. Especially ones with fur :)
from konbu :
I LOVED You Can't Do That on Television. I liked the drunk dad who would always say "don't encourage your mother," and I loved how low-budget it was. My mom used to HATE it. I'd have to sneak and watch it. I might be looking for it on you tube...
from loopykitten :
No exotic bird. Just dog and cat for now. I do want to get a cockatoo at some point though. I would love to be able to make costumes. I'm trying to learn how to sew right now.
from konbu :
I would have been cyber tortured to death when I was a kid too. It would've been HORRIBLE. Thank gods we are old!!!
from loopykitten :
Hey ! Yes I'm a big Hepburn fan although I took her picture down. I will be changing that first pic quite often throughout the years I believe. Thank you for your note.
from konbu :
I like their accent. I like the way they pronounce short a's and o's, especially.
from konbu :
You live in Canada? I like the way Canadians sound when they talk.
from milesofsky :
thank you for that note. it means a lot to me. :] <3
from milesofsky :

from konbu :
Oh my god, I saw Sheep On Drugs a year or so ago! I looked them up on wikipedia just then. I had no idea they were from the 90's.
