I'm at jarrad, then that little "at" symbol, then veritography then a period then com. Sorry about the stupid way of saying it, but I don't want any robot spam.
from minouchi :
Where are you getting your email these days. (it's feb of '05)
from x-ray-specs :
If this writing class helps me become half the writer you are, I'll consider it a success.
from melisander :
thank you for the positive vibes, brilliant biker. Peace.
from melisander :
L-P, Thanks for the quote from JS Mill. I really dig it because that is the problem really, when people are depressed, they don't see their connection with everything.
from minouchi :
That gay marriage this was so good I almost sent it to everyone I know, INCLUDING my mom! Almost, but not quite.
from x-ray-specs :
I love it when things are funny and serious at the same time. You rule.
from x-ray-specs :
Come to the pacNW in March. Do it. You will be staying at nary a hotel if I have any thing to do with it.

Feel better soon!!

I responded to your note in my own notes page. So this is just a note pointing to another note, really. Like a treasure hunt! Only with no treasure, and you're just clicking instead of actually looking places...

J-man... First, I must tell you that I found your 'ant' entry to be most amusing.. HOwever, I would be neglecting my spiritual duties if I did not take this opportunity to inform you that all life is sacred, and that randomly killing other lifeforms, no matter their size or ability to communicate with you, is something that I truly hope you feel some small amount of remorse over. If not.............. .................eh, you're going to hell.. save me a rock.
from minouchi :
Pics. Yeah, Yeah. You suck. :-P
from x-ray-specs :
excellent pictures!

from kaalimar :

I googled Sheldon a few minutes ago. I found this reference. I thought it hilarious, but you might not get the joke. Here it is anyway: "An arbitrarily short reply to Sheldon Smith on instantaneous velocities", forthcoming in Studies in History and Philosophy of Modern Physics.

I think it's Coloradans, no extra o's. Yowch, that vomitting sounds wretched, I don't find that silly or endearing but glad to hear you've worked it out. The gods be a spiteful and fickle bunch sometimes.
from kaalimar :
You haven't seen my kids in a few years, have you? Pound for pound, my son is stronger htan I am, and my daughter is well on her way to be taller than I am. Pissing them off now, might mean they put me in a home later... See the logic here????
from kaalimar :
Well, that's not MY problem, is it? I mean, I can't think of EVERYTHING... Sheesh.... if I had to, when would I find the time to do laundry????
from kaalimar :
Dude, the lock has been off the diary for about two months...
from minouchi :
Is your email on the fritz or what?
from x-ray-specs :
Dude, I will totally be on your team next year! And you know I'm coming straight from the heart when I say "dude". Aside, now that you have revealed yourself to be a pirate, you have cemented your identity in my consciousness as 'the perfect man'.
from kaalimar :
..In death we mourn not the passing of a loved one, for they cannot feel the pain of suffering anymore. More, we mourn the passing of them from our lives. For in death, do we truely understand how much we valued what is now gone....' My condolances...
from minouchi :
That bookstore chick....you're awesome, by the way!
from kaalimar :
ROFLMAO... LP, you rock dude. In all my wildest daydreams of mindless revenge on the ignorant, I don't think I could have ever come up with anything better. Well done... (gryn)
from kaalimar :
You know J man... It's interesting to think about the old addages we once heard at our fathers knee. . Time heals all wounds.. . I don't agree, but I think that with the passing of time, and a dedicated amount of self realization, one can find perspective. . Congratulations on that. It's something I think we all strive for, and rarely ever find. . Tell Quinn not to shoot any more tiki darts at the teachers...(lol)
from melisander :
Hey TSgt? What does that stand for anyway? I don't think the dialogue with the Lawyer is very interesting. maybe because I'm not a philosopher or something. But I don't think you should be punished. I think you two should shake hands and make up, or whatever lawyers and philosophers do, drink some ambrosia, twine olive branches round each other's heads, you know, the formal affair. A room of one's own, indeed.
from kaalimar :
I learn the most interesting things reading your entries....
from labyrinthial :
(I'm going to assume for a minute that the "James" you quoted as ´┐Żone of your friends´┐Ż is me...) I must object! While it is probably wholly accurate to think that my response to your plans for medical school would've been "Oh," this was written before I knew anything about your aspirations. It's rude to misquote people. Since a rude doctor would be unthinkable, I'm going to posit my official response to your future plans: Oh.
from x-ray-specs :
Good luck on the SAT tomorrow. Get sleep, eat breakfast. that'sm plan. i hope it makes up for the lack of studying - wink wink.
from minouchi :
Hey, shouldn't anterior be your newer entries? Since in chronological order they're closer to the front? Or did I mix those up again. And I think YOU'D be great at whatever you decide to do. I'm just said if *I* were in your position, *I* wouldn't do it. lol. Liked the survey though. :)
from melisander :
Socrates, I am not lost, it's just that your old email address doesn't work anymore! I am going to protest the war by not paying taxes! So there! Anyway, about being a doctor. Think about it. You know what they do. Could you grow to love what they do? Do you love being a medic? Aside from all of the hero stuff. Could you do it and be present with it, be focused and committed, for twenty years? Or even five? Ask yourself that. If the answer is yes, then you know what you should do.
from minouchi :
Starbucks...too funny.
from ssgtsocrates :
Thanks X-ray. I don't know that I'm a monk, but I don't drink or sleep around. I just figure that if the products of my hobby are that "painful" for some people to read, they are free to not read them.
from x-ray-specs :
kaalimar, ssgtsocrates is a monk! He doesn't drink beer and knock boots! Right?
from kaalimar :
You know Jarrad. I have to admit that I find your overly logical rants to be mildly painful to the eye. Have you ever thought about simplifying it and just going 'dude, I need a beer and to get laid'.? You do argue, quite well I might add, that philosophy has allowed you to lead a better, richer life. However, written among your dedicated proclomations of this, are the subtle lines of depression you admit to. Now, if this 'fuller, richer life' is so evident, why are you so depressed? And my second question would be, how can you be so sure that what you see beyond the 'masks and obfuscation' is what is really there?
from kaalimar :
J-Man. Meow...
