Welcome to my Blog. It's a random selection of what I've been doing, what I've been thinking, the odd rant, some jokes, and probably a few entries that don't fit into any of those categories. Hopefully you will find it both entertaining and thought-provoking. So who am I? Well first if all, my name isn't Ruby: I'm not even female. Ruby is a nickname I picked up a few years ago, but I kind of like it. In fact, I'm quite proud of it. Very few people know the origin of the nickname though many have tried guessing (and been hopelessly wide of the mark) I live in the south of England, and work in IT. In my spare time I am a voluntary first aider. Some people (and not only drunks and children) say I have more than a passing resemblance to Arnie Schwarzenegger. And some say I am sexier. Everyone else tells the truth.
