"WHERE SOME STORIES ARE FROM"

The older you get, the busier you are. There are more responsibilities – and as a writer, you must work much harder than before, just to find some decent time to write. Allocate it wisely, just like what you do with your energy.

At least that’s how I feel.

If you wonder about my life these days, I can only sum it up into one word: BUSY. That’s right, people. I’m one busy lady.

For starters, I live alone. In fact, I have been for some years. Most of Indonesian women my age are already married. They have at least between one up to three kids, statistically-speaking.

I’m also a workaholic. I work fulltime on weekdays. In-between, I’m a freelance writer and translator. Once a week at night and on Saturdays, I teach English.

So, when do I really go to sleep? Of course, I still sleep. I have to. Although more sporadic, I make sure I get enough – at least four hours a night. It’s easier said than done, but I have to make it possible.

Otherwise, I might possibly get exhausted and sick. That has happened too many times before. Well, what can I say? I’m only human. I’m not a superhero.

So, despite my busy schedule, I still make sure I have time to write. These are the stories. Here is where some stories are from.

update April 6, 2020: Sorry, we just had 8+ hours downtime due to a server problem. Restoring from backups took soooo long, but everything is back and no data was lost. Ay yay yay! Anyhow, hope everyone is well with the virus stuff.
