Hazel can be bipolar at times, but in an oddly harmonious way--sort of like "nerd chic". Sometimes she feels like a socialist revolutionary wannabe and sometimes she's drooling over the latest collections while squishing her oversized feet into painfully oppressive heels. Neither anti-establishment neo-bohemian nor materialistic fashion victim with radical right wing sensibilities, Hazel's just mucking about somewhere in between.
