Mystic Taco Stand

I have both created and destroyed myself in my efforts to answer what initially seemed to be such a simple question: Why?

My favorite diaries:

dead-slug profile - diary
comments: I think I understand some of how this person feels, but I know that if I were to actually try and tell them that, they wouldn't believe me.
monkey-king profile - diary
comments: I will never, ever, be as cool as this guy.

My favorite music:

Radiohead
comments: Our Lady Peace
Beck
comments: Queens of the Stoneage, The McKinnon Band
Tom Waits
comments: The Dresden Dolls, Jefferson Airplane, Bush, The Mamas & The Papas, Blind Melon, The Who, Moby, The Smashing Pumpkins, Led Zeppelin, Aphex Twin, R.E.M., The Leaves, Presidents of the United States of America
The Books
comments: The Ramones, Madeski, Squirrel Nut Zippers, The Doors, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Cake, Jimi Hendrix, A3

My favorite movies:

Pleasantville
comments: When I was a child I always imagined that when I colored the pictures in my coloringbook, I was bringing them closer and closer to a state of consciousness as I worked.
The Cable Guy
comments: "Someone needs to kill the babysitter."
1984
comments: Read the book first or I will eat your face.
Invader Zim
comments: Not a movie, a cartoon series, but it's good, clean, sadistic fun. With aliens and sometimes piggies. I like piggies.
The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy
comments: Once again, not a movie, a cartoon series. How can a cartoon in which two children enslave the Grim Reaper for all eternity go wrong?

My favorite authors:

We just get FIVE slots?
comments: I can't even come close to listing all my favorites in this space. I can't tell you how many books/authors I am currently in love with.
Instead...
comments: I will tell you what I like to read about and you can come to your own conclusions.
I like -
comments: Utopia /Dystopia, Horror, History, Art, Classic Literature, and Scientific Publications especially concerning psych, biology, and occasionally physics.
GEORGE ORWELL
comments: He wrote 1984. He wrote Animal Farm. I'd totally do him.
CHUCK PALAHNIUK
comments: A twisted mind is the best kind of mind, in MY book anyways.

update April 6, 2020: Sorry, we just had 8+ hours downtime due to a server problem. Restoring from backups took soooo long, but everything is back and no data was lost. Ay yay yay! Anyhow, hope everyone is well with the virus stuff.
