I started writing on my diary all the time in 1999. And then went online in the year 2000, but it took me a lot of courage to actually publish my own thoughts and let others read them. I had only written on paper diaries. I loved the respectful, tolerant community that Diaryland was back then, and I miss it a lot. The #1 inspiration for me in 2000 to get online was a Norwegian Diarylander named Ragnhild. She is the reason why I started at all. I admired her writing so much, and I literally could not believe it when she read my own stuff and we became friends.
