from zoela :

from kiosh :
Hah! That case study was great! Friends is such a fun show and Monica is definitely the perfect subject. Something funny is that I actually remembered all the episodes referred to in here... I love you lots, hon! =0)
from licalicious :
HAHA! I pretty well knew you knew all that off the top of your head, I was just hoping... I miss you too lady!
from licalicious :
I loved your case study on Monica from Friends, it was very well done. PLEASE tell me you had to research that at least a little...
from zoela :
Great news about getting your head shrunk and shrinking others' heads and... Hey, maybe now you can figure out what's wrong with me. ;)
from kiosh :
Oh, wuould you like to be featured as a guest writer on me journal? It'd would be a total pleasure! =0)
from kiosh :
Yay! Thanks for the loving thoughts! - I'm so glad you're enjoying school so much. You know, for the past month and a half I've been thinking of going to a bit of theraphy, perhaps it could do me well. Now that you've mentioned resistence, you gave me something to think about, I mean, it makes a lot of sense to that cryptic side of me. Heh. - I send you much much love and big cinnamon hugs! I luv ya lots! =0) - PS: Didn't you get my email asking for the address to the new site?
from bexx :
Yes you will be getting moe lovely physc terms thrown your way....and beware, when you study the DSM4 you will think you are MENTALLY INSANE. -Bexx
from bexx :
thanks for the support.......yeah at least I have until October 20th to pay the ticket.....shit. hopw all is well with you! -B
from wench77 :
thanks for stopping by.. I dumped internet guy before the second date was even set... he got all weird: says he thought since I allowed him to kiss me, we had something going, he arranged his schedule to be free for me (and then was all disappointed when I said I'd like to see him next week... cuz it wasn't TOMORROW), that he took his profile down from the dating site since he had found me and he thought about me every free moment since our date. Hell... I don't even know what his hobbies are, how he spends his time, his relationship with his kids now, most anything. ack ack ack. freak me out! thanks though! come back soon!! I am actually blogging more often again now since I am single again. Hope you're well, out there in SF!!
from zoela :
Building bridges is a very good skill to have. Good luck on your first day of school. Keep me in the loop! You know my email. (The new one, not the old one.) Lots and lots of hugs.
from kiosh :
Hey ya! Well, thanks a lot for that perspective. You have a very strong point there and it makes me feel better... Big hugs! =0)
from kiosh :
Yum, yum, it all sounds so exciting! I wish you the best of luck and send you positive vibes on this new adventure! - Big strawberry hugs and much, much luv! =0)
from kiosh :
Bastard woman and bloody cashier. I mean, you were so right to get mad, after all, it was only 15 items not onehundredandf*ckingtwentytwo! Gaah. What a fun entry! Oh, and yeah, who is really shocked about Lance being gay? Not a fan of stereotypes but... You know. And you also know I like *NSYNC! I send you all the love in the world and martini hugs! =0)
from zoela :
That entry made me laugh. Kathy Griffin! I can't believe she came here and I missed it! I like the N-Sync guy now too and just a few years ago I had a bumper sticker that said "NSUCK." Now I feel like that was just uncalled for. By the way, one of my friends works at Rainbow grocery.
from hlupak :
let's keep that virginity. if i want to listen to a boy band i'll listen to rammstein. (they jokingly refer to themseves as a boy band.)
from hlupak :
i didn't know who lance bass is. *blushes* *chuckles* i still haven't heard any of their music (i plan on keeping it that way. ;) )
from kiosh :
Hey! I hope you didn't get hurt in that fall! So, I guess that planetary movement can explain lots of things in my own life. Naaa, I'm just a big bloody mess. LOL. --- You know I luv you? And I miss you, too! As always, lots of tangerine-flavoured love and black cherry hugs for you, sweetie! =0)
from killsbury :
*pokes*
from inside---out :
i'm sooo looking forward to pride, and also thinking that maybe i should read more camus, and maybe in english so that it's easier to understand.
from bexx :
About S-K....suck....yet at least they are leaving the band on a good note, rather than fighting. Maybe they will do shows in the future? Who knows. Have you started school yet? Hows it going? -B
from zoela :
I think we should.
from bexx :
Congratulations super nerd for getting into grad school!!!!!! If you need any assistance with the program let me know.......I have tons of resources, yet some might be outdated.-BexX
from kiosh :
Hurrah! I'm so happy about the grad school! That's the start of an exciting time for you! Ahhh, my dear Bree. Hey, I hope you check out one of my latest entries, called "Original journal sundtrack", I dedicated something to you there! I send you tons of sparkly hugs and don't forget I loved ya! =0)
from killsbury :
This week is the beginning of a brand new year for both of us. I hope all your birthday dreams and wishes come true. Failing that; I hope it's full of steamy encounters. Cheers!
from kiosh :
Well, well. That was a nice detail. I guess, in a sense, she'll always be your Snow cherries from France girl. *Sigh* Only a few days till THE day! Woo! In the meantime, I send you huge amounts of love and positive vibes. I love you very much! =0)
from zoela :
Have you ever gone bike riding with Critical Mass SF? I haven't yet, but I want to.
from kiosh :
I love you! I really really do! =0)
from bexx :
I enjoyed your list....I will consult it when I finish the book I am reading now, + when I want to see a film! Sorry about the break up too, eventhough, you do seem quite okay with it. -BexX
from chaosdaily :
i love dandelion wine.. err the book. dont think i had the actual wine. but bradbury is one of my favorites. early sci-fi/fantasy type!
from bexx :
Thanks for the compliment, eventhough, thats not a good picture. Yet, I think every female says that.......thanks for the vote!!!! You rock the house!!!!!!-BeXX
from zoela :
Hey, I live in SF. If you don't mind hanging out with a weird psycho chick, we should hang out. Could be fun.
from killsbury :
You got to me to go and Google. Corned beef is from the Irish, but uses kosher salt. Pastrami uses no salt, but is Jewish, and to me tastes pretty much the same. I'm sure I will remember this; my cellphone number? No way.
from bexx :
fUCK yEAH
from bexx :
Good luck to you!!!! You will be fab! -Bexx
from acaldwell :
wishing you well in this and good vibes!!
from bexx :
Shit....clinical physc huh? Are you planning on going for the phd or the pc? Just curious.-B
from bexx :
Thanks:) I feel so much better now that test is over and I don't have to study anymore.!=B
from killsbury :
I like/need to be prepared. Healing from surgery is one of the things that will be getting in my way. I'm not laid back at the best of times; even traveling when well is a hyper situation. I'll drive them all crazy before I'm packed.
from eatyouryoung :
I haven't talked to you in so very long and that sucks. You are a fantastic person (who has helped me with a great deal of shit) and you rule. I have been away for a while due to family issues/school, but I'm back! I don't have AIM/Yahoo privileges because I have to use my roommates computer. I miss you lady and I hope that you are doing well, because you rule. <3 Melissa
from kiosh :
Congratulations! One more thing: I love you very much! Really! =0)
from acaldwell :

from jwinokur :
Wow, I just finally read my notes from the past year and saw you came to see my photos at Coffee Society! Thanks super a lot for making the time to do that! I have another gallery show soon, this time a BIG one in Los Angeles. Hooray! I was looking at the movies you like and the list of music you like. I have a pretty strong hunch you'll dig my album, yo. http://justinwinokur.com Hope you survived the endless parties that happen on a typical San Francisco New Year's Eve! (I'm still recovering!)
from kiosh :
Aaaah, am already becoming a big fan of your work... I'm dying to see the movie! Can I help? He he he. Oh, and the whole Dax thing sounds great! Hey buddy, I luv ya lots! =0)
from killsbury :
My childhood was kind of sparse, so now I have the National Lampoon's kind of Festivus, the tackier the better. I still do it my way ;)
from kiosh :
The best of luck! Super warm and sparkly hugs and many positive vibe are being sent your way! And just in case you forgot: I luv you very, very much! =0)
from zoela :
Hahaha... I've been told that before. ;)
from zoela :
Good luck! I'm sending positive vibes your way.
from kiosh :
Hmmm, lovely. Very. I like what you did in there and that was a fantastic movie choice. I see you making great things in the future and writing future movie hits, you've always been a great writer. Would you like to come and work in our production company one day? =0) Sweetest Bree, I send you thousands of star hugs! PS: The Javascript for your comments is still broken!
from licalicious :
soo have to go watch LiT now... watch me run to the living room!
from zoela :
oy ;)
from eatyouryoung :
It is because you are a badass and a lot of things have been coming together lately. You've listened to many of my rants, whether it be by journaling or e-mails, and you've helped with a lot of stuff. It is my way of showing my appriceation for you. So, thanks. Hope you had an awesome Thanksgiving.
from zoela :
Moving to San Francisco in January... My latest entry is bad. Don't read it. Seriously.
from kiosh :

from kiosh :
Hello me sweet Bree... DLand wasn't the same without my fave Cali girl... I have missed you so much! Did you get my emails and stuff? I send you big big hugs and much love! =0) PS: Would you consider a guest entry?
from eatyouryoung :
I'm glad to see you're back! How I have missed your posts!
from wench77 :
re zen holes... you goof! :D have fun!
from wench77 :
Yo! i like the color of your template and the cheese! Limburger?? Very nice. But your comments don't link up to anything. I looked at your sourcecode and the words 0 comments are just in bold but not made into any sort of link, oops!! :D Glad to see you back, glad to see I'd made the cut. Wish we got more dirt for heaven's sake! We've already read that zen hole story before. We wanna know what hole YOU'RE INTO! and is it dark? wet? warm? squooshy?? glad the screenwriting has been going well. Very cool. keep well!
from fridayfilms :
Thank you for keeping me as a link! Keep on truckin' (in that writey sense).
from killsbury :
I miss you!
from bexx :

from bexx :

from onewetleg :
and you know it!!! (pokes metal fingers in the air)
from bexx :
Yeah dude.....I was seriously mortified after the hair cut...thats totally not like here....eh....yep and you are an icon! -Bexx
from zoela :
Your mall visit made me laugh. I can relate to everything except a D cup. I've missed you! I've been gone too. Then I became semi distracted by this: http://www.myspace.com/maayans. And I'm moving in December. I need helpful hints.
from wench77 :
yah, well, I was actually invited to Detroit initially by her cousin, and stayed at her cousin's place before I actually ever stayed at ob's place. At that point I wasn't seeing ob yet... I was invited back by both of them to visit a second time, which is when I stayed with ob for the first time... so yeah, I've remained friends with her cousin the whole time... Nothing to do with ob. Lots to do with a nice open friendly person who I like to talk with who befriended me. The cuz is the one who drove me to the fest from Detroit two years ago... 5 hours each way even though she decided not to go herself cuz of the massive power outage! Now that is keeping one's word! It was just ob who let me down! hah! :D
from liviasgarden :
I'm glad you liked my ramblings. It really was so much fun! Thanks, Cat
from candora :
found you?... who knows, probably through one of my favs or linkers... I enjoy the energy and life in your words... I lived in Monterey back in the seventies (suddenly, I'm looking for age spots) and fell in love with the Bay area on weekends... I lived in NYC a lot of years too... I bought a house once, lost everything once too (the things we do for love, or at least what I did for love)... I talk in old song lyrics... I think I moved to Florida and died...
from candora :
another profile I enjoyed, another diary I look forward to... returning is a continuing process :)
from zoela :
Guess who'll be moving to San Francisco later this year... :)
from liviasgarden :
Thank you.
from wench77 :
You are too funny! Thanks for the great comment! :D
from hlupak :
i hope you have a happy birthday!
from moon-blood :
thanks for the note! look forward to reading your journal! nicole
from zoela :
With all this encouragement from you, I may want to stay neurotic forever. You're my favorite. I love you to pieces.
from eatyouryoung :
Thanks, I will be sure to check it out. I am happy to be done, it has been a long semester.
from eatyouryoung :
You know, I'm not 100% on what it truly means. It does leave some rather entertaining visuals for the imagination.
from bexx :
thats cool....yeah and I was just taught "dont fear the reaper." Elliott Smith would play that at the end of some of his shows. That guy just rocked. I'm tipsy now....so WHO IS THE MORE TIPSY!? Ha~!-BeXx
from wench77 :
"my jesus can beat up your jesus" is so american I can't believe it. Actually it is just macho, no matter what continent or religion. "Jesus nuke YOU!!! grrrr" hehe. It is deliciously ironic in it's inherent implications, but I doubt the person who said it realized that. Well, Yahweh can beat up any of the little Christ follower's messiahs. Love they neighbor. blah! hehe.
from hey4eyes :
I'm glad you like my journal. San Francisco is somewhere I have to visit if I am going to be a famous writer. I need to hang off the back of a tram dressed in men's clothing cursing the violent rain. I'll look you up when I get there! Bobbie Sue Dicks.
from bexx :
I sent the "manu script"-HA! just now....take it easy!~ Subject headline is elliott smith -BeXx
from bexx :
hey yeah, I would have to know your email address, then I will send it along that way. Just so you know, it was a paper that we had to sumerize a diagnosis for him. Its a post grad class I am taking...etc...etc...-BeXx
from bexx :
I saw the Nick Drake movie a few months back....it was decent in a few parts....-Bexx
from licalicious :
for some reason I can't leave you comments anymore... have to reinstall my browser or something. About the "moats and triangles" entry - I too am fascinated by impermanent art, partly because I wish I could be able to let go of something I have created. It is a sign of my inability to live completely in the moment. Sometimes I think of how wonderful it is just to have those centered moments and how I might take them for granted if they were constant. I remind myself that repremanding myself for not living in the moment is pretty damn hypocritical.
from zoela :
I am so embarrassed. :(
from bexx :
Usually the incense in the Catholic church smells like a nauseating orange....I am reformed....and no longer Catholic...-BeXx
from miss-blue102 :
Your 'mourning' entry if by far one of my favourites! (i tried to just leave a comment...but it wouldn't let me for some reason.) I loved how you wrote about your internal monologue...that was really cute. The entire thing was awesome. I love how you write. Everything just flows together so smoothly and reads completely flawless. I'm so jealous...=)
from hlupak :
i just saw this in a mailing that i just got from a gay bookstore. i thought you might enjoy it: Pussy Pucker Pots Vegan Lip Balm For the tastiest lips north of the hips! 100% Vegan & 100% Naughty in twelve tempting flavors: Areola Apricot, Chocolate Nipple Ripple, Clitoris Citrus, Don't Need No MANgo, Labia Lemon, MuffBerry, Nice Melons, Plain Ol' Prude, Shaved Peach, Strawberry Snatch, TaTa Tangerine and Vanilla Vulva
from licalicious :
I loved that entry.
from zoela :
Oh WOW. That blew my mosque entry to pieces! I saw everything through your eyes. I was right there with you, down to the pink tissue. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. (I'm also comforted by the Nag Champa reference. My SIL and cousin-in-law never heard of it. What is Nog Chimba, they asked.)
from hlupak :
i'll definitely let you know when i get my new blog going. thanks for the note.
from blinkrevu :
your review is up: http://blinkrevu.diaryland.com/breezip.html -- meredith
from breezip :
hlupak: hahahaha! thanks for that.
from hlupak :
when you mentioned burritos it reminded me of some cuban slang, in cuban slang tortilla means "acto lesbiano."
from licalicious :
hey babe - could I use your buddy list description of me in a banner? I'd credit you in it of course.
from licalicious :
this was in my notes from before nov. 2nd "from Art: yay! good for you telling that ignoramus off! i find the majority of bush supporters are of the same ilk. stupid moronic idiots! thank you for putting that bozo in his place, and thank you for voting kerry in november! if bush wins, our freedoms will vanish even more, and the idiots like this fool you described will just lay down and drink another beer. congrats! i listen to NPR all day also!"
from blinkrevu :
my apologies for the extreme delay, but would you still like a review?
from hlupak :
i enjoyed the 2004 recap, but you don't need to apologize for your opinions. they are as valid as those of anybody else. my favourite film by david lynch that he did before "eraserhea," it is a short film entitled "the electric grandmother." it is wonderful." i hope that things are going well for you.
from bexx :
Im gonna list you as a buddy...I found you through the Dig me out Ring I believe. Have you listened to The Gossip? I'm sure you have. -BeXx
from bexx :
nice stuff here.-BeXx
from hlupak :
hi! sometimes what we need to do most is simply to simply be and not "to accomplish things." just be cause we do not seem to be accomplishing anything does not mean that we are not accomplishing anything. we need friends, but the things without which we cannot live are found within us. take care of yourself.
from hlupak :
thanks for the note. it would be great if we could get together. believe it or not sex is not the only thing in which i am interested. (i know that's difficult to believe, but it's true. lol) once in awhile i need eo hear some encouragement (or read it) most of the weekend i will be at the doubletree hotel. i will be satying at the homestead studio suites san jose. one of the challenges for me will be how to get from the hotel in sanfrancisco to san jose. i have directions on how to take bart, but i'm not really looking forward to it. thanks again.
from wench77 :
Thanks! You are an integrity-saver. I sent that and a couple other links on to the people who forwarded that "quote" to me. Cheers!
from candoor :
happy new year :)
from wench77 :
Oh, by no means did you spark a downward spiral. Getting told that he was cancelling and spending the time with his daughter sparked a downward spiral. If he had cancelled cuz of work. If I didn't want a kid. If his family hadn't said I was welcome to come but he didn't seem to even consider inviting me. You just got your name at the top of the entry cuz I was segueing from the previous entry with your comment which I had just read. Sorry to give you the impression you were in any way responsible! Happy New Years!
from theplayhouse :
Hi, I was searching under the saddest music in the world, and looked at your diary and liked it a lot. :)
from kiosh :
Bree, sweetie, I hope you have happy holidays and a smashing 2005 full of happiness and peace. As always all the love and appreciation for you and lots of snow and diamond covered hugs! =0)
from liviasgarden :
I hope you and yours have a great holiday :)
from fight-club16 :
heh, no problem. I try not to review on what you write, but rather how you write it. even if it's about asparagus, if it's well written, it deserves credit (no offense to asparagus).
from r-e-v-i-e-w :
blehh. haha I fixed it! Thanks for pointing it out :)
from r-e-v-i-e-w :
your review is up!
from kiosh :
Hello sweetie! A quick note so send you much love and peace wishes. Hope everything's alright! Good luck and lots of happiness! Disco hugs! =0)
from wench77 :
LOL! I know how you feel about that... I feel the same way when radiogurl or OWL are on the same time as me in the middle of the night... and Dangerspouse used to always come on before I went to bed about 6am, but doesn't anymore. It is comforting isn't it! Thanks for the comment!!
from tex512 :
hey -- i noticed you haven't scribbed...scribed? yea, that must be it! to your diary for a while...MISSING your entries, hint hint. :) i started a diary today...not sure if i can keep up with it, but figure it's a great outlet for rampages and looking-for-work venting....:)~tex
from liviasgarden :
Thank you so much for your note. I hope something miraculous happens and you never have to experience this kind of wrenching pain. The lines between love, sacrifice and selfishness get awfully blurry. My only advice is that repeating, "I don't know what to do", doesn't help much. And I really don't.
from kiosh :
Hello Bree! I have to say that I really like you and the things you write. I have always admired people with a social conscience and concern for the world and you're that and much more. I think you're sensitive and smart and loads of fun! Just wanted to let you know that I appreciate you a lot and that you're often in my thoughts. May the gods above grant you with many blessings and good things. I send you lots of love and pop hugs! Say hello and send Nat a hug from me! =0)
from spiruleena :
Hi there again :) I'm that bush-hating new zealander from a few days ago if you don't remember me. The one with the highly self-centred diary. :) Thanks for dropping me a note back. I found you on the members area page where they list all the people who have just updated. Your name caught me eye so I took a peek. I have to say I really like your diary. Insightful, thought-provoking and generally very outspoken. Just the type I like reading. Its nice to escape to another reality sometimes. Anyway thanks again :)
from wench77 :
haha, yeah, reading my todo list is stressing. Imagine how I feel? I must admit a burning sensation between my shoulder blades. Often I let things slide so my days are reasonable, and that's why when other people show up to my life I look at it through their eyes and see the things I've let slide, the doghair on the floor, the dogdrool on the walls (see I didn't write washing that off as a thing to do!), the weeds in the garden, the frost in the freezer... and then I feel incompetent cuz I feel "at their place" there wouldnt be hair and frost and weeds. I think that's one reason I had a meltdown when my dad arrived. He was like "oh it doesn't matter" and then shows me proudly photos of his immaculately kept decorated apartment (all newly renovated), his awardwinning orchids in the greenhouse he has built from scratch, the landscaping he has done.. and i just want to hide. On the other hand, he is paid to do the landscaping, his wife helps with the orchids and he is the caretaker of the bldg so the landlords paid for the renovations... and he doesn't draw comics or publish books. SIgh. It is so hard to keep up to one's own expectations (ie having an interesting and social, artistic, healthy, fun balanced life, and publishing etc) as well as that of others (clean house, time to relax etc) sigh. And haha, re the reading and commenting on diaries... it is what I do to escape from the todo list!! cheers!
from hlupak :
i guess you could say that i am a pot-smoking, absinthe-drinking, beer-drinking, socialist, sensualist gay slut christian (not that i want to be labeled, nor am i limited to these things. :)
from hlupak :
hi bree! i am a christian and have never seen any of your statements to be anti-christian. i have a button that is similar to your t-shirt, it reads, "nuke a gay whale for christ." (i've had it for years.) maybe those on the christian right should do what paul said that he wished those who wanted new converts to christianity to do. emasculate themselves (i hope that i don't sound sexist here, but i do not know what the equivalent term would be for women.) keep on standing up for what you believe and be true to yourself.
from fridayfilms :
I've been meaning to get that up and running, actually, but I'm not much of a self-starter these days. I generally need a bit of a prod, so thanks for the motivation. I'll try and have something for next week. I'm glad you're interested. Cheers, - Friday
from fridayfilms :
Hey, thanks for adding me! I can be a bit mean at times, though, I should warn you. But I'm much harder on myself most of the time.
from fridayfilms :
I was searching diaries by favorite books, and I saw that you also list Nicholson Baker. You were somewhere near the top of the list, so I took a peek and liked what I saw.
from over25revue :
ok, i have added you to the pending list, but i don't know how long its going to take to get to it. i've really been lazy about reviewing lately. mostly because the next on my list is a bit intimidating to me. you know, i live in sf, also and you probably have shopped in my store. it's the g00w1ll on 19th and mission.
from fridayfilms :
You're a fantastic find.
from jwinokur :
Thanks so much for coming to see my art! Wish I could have been there to meet you in person. Email next time you will be around!

Hello, this is Ev'Yan from Winterfresh Reviews. I'm very sad to say that we are no longer excepting any requests & our review site is now officially closed. I'm not sure if we'll ever be back -- it just depends on if we can get our lives back in order. Things here have been super crazy, with school starting & us both trying to sort out things that have been happening over that last couple months. But, I DO want to say thank you for your request & for considering us...we have really appreciated all the love. I want to apologize for putting you on hold. We should have been more punctual with everything. Maybe someday soon, we'll get back on track. But for now, we're done. Thanks again though for understanding...when you get a chance, go to our website to get our information if you'd still like to know what will happen to us afterward...♥Ev'Yan xxx

Thanks for the note. As a Canadian about to marry and live in America, I was grateful to read your take on politics. I hope I met someone similar in PA. Cat
from licalicious :
This would be another other uncle... All of my uncles are off balance now that I think about it. This particular one makes me hug him every time I see him, and I can't even half-hug, it has to be a full on breast squishing hug. Last night I literally had to jump over him and pull his arms off of her to get him to leave her alone (take his hands off her breasts). It was sick. She doesn't even know it happened. I don't think I should tell her either. BAH uncles!
from licalicious :
hehe, I know next week is labor day, but that's my excuse for not coming in to work today. Apparantely I hit the snooze button for about three hours this morning. Oops! Time to start taking the tylenol pm again.
from miss-blue102 :
Wow...I was totally blown away by the note that you left me. And I was even MORE blown away after I read some of your entries. The fact that this interesting and intelligent women complimented my random whining is such a gigantic honour. Thank you! I love the way you write. It's realy entertaining and everything you say seems to be well thought out. I really enjoy how you're able to have all these different thoughts and yet you can piece them all together so well. Reading your diary is what I would imagine having a conversation with you would be like. I will be back. -Miss Blue (p.s. fab taste in movies by the way...)
from licalicious :
"left of center" just came on the radio. I have to think of you whenever I hear that song.
from hlupak :
thanks for the kind words in your diary. sorry to disappoint you but "hlupak" is slovak word for fool or someone stupid. i'm adding your diary to my list of favorites, so that i can keep up with it.
from wench77 :
"hyperly prolific, fierce politics, zany antics, fun!" cool! thankya thankya... hyperly prolific, I like that. Now if I only felt that way. :D

hiya! yeah, better get to bed! i gotta get back to work! It was a pleasure discovering your site!
from eatyouryoung :
I'm sorry its taken me so long to get back to you. I just want you to know that your note made me feel so much better about everything. You deserve nothing but happiness, you rockin' lady you. <3
from hlupak :
thanks for the message. it helped to cheer me up at the beginning of the day. i just looked at your diary. i love the layout and thoroughly enjoyed the content. (no, i am not saying that the physical appearance is more important, but it is what caught my eye first.) thank you again for your kind words.
from candoor :
some stuff in your about page, your background and where you're from and philosophical stuff lead me to wonder :)
from candoor :
did you, by any chance, ever hang out at a Yahoo chatroom called TheAsylumTM?...
from beaware :
This is from lica - I'm just logged in under an alt blog - thank you, sweetie! I have been able to avoid him. With ten people in the house it's pretty easy to slink into my room unnoticed.
from zoela :
You can call me anything you want. :) You make me nostalgic again. Call me Franka. I'm still Franka. Or you can just call me Schmo. Yeah, Schmo.
from licalicious :
re: manic... Yes it would seem so. I just went outside to grab something from my car and decided it was nice out and I was sick of being sick, so I ran up the hill to see if I could catch the sunrise. The beers I had earlier that night surely influenced that decision. I should have gone to bed, I lost some ground on getting better. I'm a dipshit. I deleted that entry because I was barely awake enough to know what was going on at that point. Ugh, I have to stop this not going to bed thing... it's really messing with my life.
from kiosh :
Hello! Thank you for your note! =0) I am starting to read your journal and it's good! I toast for years of DLand friendship! A hug! Good luck and happiness! *Kiosh

I'm all about the notes tonight. I left a goofy comment on your rings page.
from licalicious :
hmmm... I'm hoping you went to Santa Cruz 'cause I was really hoping for that update. I'm hoping your girl(why can't I remember her blog name, I can only remember the real one) is doing well. Take it easy!
from eatyouryoung :
Awesome, I am glad you enjoyed it. I really love her, she is so talented.
from eatyouryoung :

from oldpenguin :
Thanks for the recommendation! At this early stage I'm liking it muchly. Only time will tell whether the sentiment is a lasting one or not, though. Must get back into the Diaryland swing soon, I've been a bit... absent recently. Your diary's one of the things inspiring me to get back. Yup, still enjoying your writings. They are like verbal chocolate. OP
from franka :
Thanks for being my friend! :)
from eatyouryoung :
thank you kindly. i hope you have been well.
from sindustries :
hi there. just a little note from a stranger to say i really like your journal :) take care
from licalicious :
I got a site meter and I noticed someone from South Africa was checking out my site. Weird. Made me think of you and Nat. Hope you're not too lonely!
from franka :
Interesting, your entry about similarities between Buddhism and Judaism. Every word from Buddhism is so well put, very admirable. PS. I grew up in Almaden! Weird.
from franka :
Thanks! Hey you like Camus, I like Sartre. I should read Camus. Your diary is incredibly entertaining. What you said before about contradictions...How so? I've been told that before so I'm curious. (I have bee stings too. Yay for bee stings.)
from eatyouryoung :
thanks, that is really sweet of you. sorry it took me so long to get back to you. i really appriceate it.
from archangelica :
new entry, for curious you...
from ayden :

Thank you so motherfucking much for the birthday wishes!
from licalicious :
okay... I didn't mean "like's" in the last post, I meant "likes" I have a bit of a muscle memory problem that makes me type an apostrophe before the letter "s" even in the middle of a sentence, and when I type "though", I often add a "t" at the end to make "thought". Bah on me! I just came by to encourage you, Bree, to keep up your log and not let the "real activist" dream make you think this site of yours, or any other activist actions (like the zine), are futile or insignifigant. I will post your site in my links column (new, come see it!), and you should get a counter and plop it in yer site so you know how many you've reached. You'd be surprised! (I'll send you a free site visit counter link if you want, and it's sooooo easy to put it in). I love that you're out there being you, and remember.... sometimes the "uber activists" turn people off, some people need the subdued version to get them to think. You can be this link to reality for them! (I swore to myself I'd never use the word "uber", but it seemed appropriate)
from licalicious :
Yay! I'm glad someone else that I respect like's wilwheaton.net... By your recomendation, I checked out that audio blog from July 18th, laughed out loud, and I mean HARD! I can't believe I overlooked it! Thanks for reading my diary, lil lady, and I most certainly am enjoying yours!
from oldpenguin :
Hey! Thanks for your kind compliments. Yours is a very pleasing diary as well, though I was too lazy to say before. And I hope Arnie doesn't end up being voted the governor for california. I have no clue about American politics generally, but it's obvious that he is not a competent politician. Anyway, keep up the writing! OP
from everoboto :
Hey there! I found you through one of your banners. I really like your writing style. I just read your entry about Buddhism. I've been doing a lot of reading on it lately, so I thought your entry was great. I look forward to reading your older entries. \m/
from eatyouryoung :
i am not putting up with you. you are a pleasure to talk to, and i think it is great you want to know why i think what i do. you are a very cool person.
from eatyouryoung :
thanks for the note. i just wrote you in my journal. check it out if you have time. have a great day.
from eatyouryoung :
thanks for the welcome back. welcome back yourself, i really hope you had a great time on your trip. i don't have much time, so i'll get into the bush thing with you later. welcome back!
from breezip :
Gentle readers: I'm curious. Who is the person who reads my journal pretty regularly and connects through eastlink.ca? Do I know you, or can you tell me who you are and if you have a blog I could check out, too? Thanks for being out there! --Bree
from eatyouryoung :
thanks very much. have fun on your trip! i'll talk to you when you return...have fun ;)
from eatyouryoung :
thank you for the kind words, i needed to hear something like that. it is much appriceated. maggie gyllenhaal is amazing and ever so lovely. i really dug that movie. what else has she been in, do you by any chance know? how long have you been into Sleater Kinney? have a fantastic nite, and thank you again.
from eatyouryoung :
you rock because you like Sleater Kinney. Sleater Kinney rocks my socks, and i love you both. rock on.
from spider88 :
I finally signed up so I can leave you messages! Thanks for dinner the other night. When do we get to read your REM musings?
from straite :
bree, i was glad to hear you bought a bible. of all the books i've read it is by far the most interesting and enlightening. i agree some bits in the old testament are a bit 'psychedelic' (though not immpossible), try reading the new testament, Matthew 5 is an interesting passage. cheers, rohan
from facepunch :
this is your first note! how exciting!
