Hi I would love to read your diary( I used to read it under *faeries in my coffee* but I need a password~ would you be willing to add me to your list please? I think you are a very talented writer and have a wonderful way with words. :)
from beagle47 :
argh! andrew rejected the e-mail as spam, thus: http://beagle47.com contains the holiday message 2005. please visit? all my best...-=b47=-
from beagle47 :
the lock will remain a long, untold story. a mystery, perhaps? however, there is a key, if you wish to e-mail you shall surely get one (although it does come with a few rules...) i hope you slept well.
from beagle47 :
it has been a hard year, perhaps more like two years. i wonder if it has to do with world karma, bad energy and things which elude us all as mortals. i don't know if this will mean anything to you 'fly, but i feel badly for you. i'll think good thoughts for you tonight before i drift off to sleep.
from beagle47 :
don't think i didn't notice... ;) welcome back, 'fly.
from havechosen :
Oh, never mind. I guess I should've looked at the journal before I posted a new note. :) Mwah! Yay!!!! It's a lovely template! :) Yay!
from havechosen :
Um, does that mean I can't have a password? Or does that mean no peaking until you're done fussing?
from havechosen :
YAAAY! You're back! Except you locked me out. May I have a password, please? tessalation at gmail dot com (if you still want me to be able to drop by)
from firefirefly :
Hello! I known you for sometime, cos we are sorta siblings - 'firefly' =) and I found you from review sites and such, but I never knew that you were from Malaysia as well! Whoa. Cool. I was looking through Globe of Blogs recently and spotted your name, to my surprise.
from beagle47 :
to the former firefly: i am certain that you shall be reborn as a butterfly. oh, yes, and i cannot resist giving you advice as to being in love (forgive me?): if i've made any mistake in life and in love, it was/is taking it too seriously. all my best, 'fly!
from explodingboy :
A nice piece of writing that, well worth being quoted. Cheers. eb*
from beagle47 :
an incredibly well-timed note. thank you, as always. the banners? dull. you've missed nothing. however, i've a suggestion for you: pure white background, black times roman 10 pt. font, text = "fly me." centered on the banner. i suggested it once to someone else who, i believe, felt it was offensive. it wasn't meant to be. my guess? lots of clicks. great to see you noting, 'fly. thanks again...
from soror :
I was rather impressed by your library. It's most similar to mine. :)
from natinski :
mark z. danielewski. he wrote 'house of leaves' yes? elijah wood's favorite book. hmm, i'm a very curious (and wintry) fangirl.
from silverpeanut :
hello! just dropped by to say hi. and happy new year to you and god bless!
from beagle47 :
happy new year, 'fly. my best to you and yours. peace. (and i really mean that).
from sparklytears :
this is dena from dedications;; thank you so much for supporting me by leaving a note for that STEALER: nonamephreek . . . i hate when people do that .p.a.t.h.e.t.i.c. anyway, thanks again. xoxo. [<3]
from deaf-knee :
it says "new people". well, it's supposed to mean that anyway. :) including you I now know 3 liyanas. YAY? :P NS rocks lol.
from cutething :
by ' sits, ' you must realize, i meant ' sites'
from cutething :
i just realized you have three sits of mine listed as favorites. that' s crazy. incredibly few people realize i even have more than one. i' m afraid i' ll have to kill you now. well, after i finish blushing and looking at my feet, cos i' m so gosh darn flattered.
from beagle47 :
i am always a little extra grateful when i know that you have read anything i have written (and even a little more than that when i know a fellow nightcrawler reads that one as it is generally understood without further explanation as it has been lived). so nice to see you again. hope all is, well, straight A's if they have those in K.L.
from compendious :
Your review is up at Compendious Reviews. Thank you so much for requesting! We think you'll be pleased.
from taliarant :
Wow! You're prolific this afternoon!! :) Good to hear from you and know you aren't, in fact, dead from the stress of exams. :)
from literatim :
Oh, lovely girl, I am fine. Not very compelled to write lately, but the muses should return (they inevitably always do). x
from onedarkrevue :
Hi! Heard somewhere that you wanted to become a reviewer. My review site's pretty new and we don't get a lot of requests for reviews yet, but if you're interested in becoming a reviewer let me know and when we do become busy I'm sure you'll have tons of diaries to review.
from ruhee :
http://ruhee.diaryland.com/playlisten.html This may interest you. I don't know, if you run out of music, or something. I'm working on writing something for eargasms too. Yay!
from ruhee :
Thanks!! I added my comment. :) It is sort of off-the-cuff but says what I wanted to say. I don't know whether it merits a post. Also, thanks for adding me to your list on eargasms as well!! Wow. I'm honoured. Cheers!
from ruhee :
By the way, I have now added eargasms to my buddylist too. :) And I think I added a comment in the wrong spot (sorry about that), I meant to just say that if you like Rufus Wainwright, they used a song of his in the film "Shrek," it's called "Hallelujah" and it's one of my favourite songs. Check it out, it's gorgeous and really stirring. :D
from ruhee :
thanks for the heads-up about eargasms! very cool idea. i'm going to for sure contribute soon :D thanks, that was a really neat thing to see. i promise i'll add that soon ... gotta run and finish my chem/social/math weekend homework (yech). later days. cheers!
from nectar3103 :
Salam. Thanks for the wish, Liyana. yeah, there was a typo and I'd corrected it - the link works now. anyway if ur still interested, the link is http://www.babycenter.com/refcap/7211.html or you can just google, right?
from exhaust :
Not to worry. Everything will remain intact. I'm leaving for me this time. *mwuah*
from beagle47 :
thank you 'fly. it is really quite nice to have been an inspiration at least once in my life! ;) peace.
from malex :
Hehe, yes I did make that layout, but I didn't take the photo. I found it somewhere on some website a long time ago. But I just changed my layout again so it's allll gone :P Thanks anyway!
from caralynne :
thank u. how did i do that?
from nectar3103 :
Glad you entered the mph essay competition. I hope you'll win the main prize.
from beagle47 :
bravo, 'fly, bravo. i am just, well, so proud of you. thanks, sincerely. peace. (and i really mean that).
from beagle47 :
...which is just another of your great assets...
from exhaust :
I sometimes read 158 and wonder what came into my body to write that.
from exhaust :
Thank you, Love.
from pelangi :
Lily, it's me again, Aunty Nectar. I have several accounts under diaryland, and it happened I signed in as pelangi. anyway here's the link for the contest. http://www.mph.com.my/promotions/contest.htm i really hope u'll enter and win.
from nectar3103 :
this contest is organised by mph in conjunction with bulan membaca - closed on 31 july if am not mistaken. i'm not sure whether it's open to everybody or members only. i'll check the leaflet again tonight and send you another note. the title really sounds like the essay that u had written - what it means to be a Malaysian. I hope it's not the same one you had entered.
from nectar3103 :
congratulations on winning that Kikokuniya contest
from nectar3103 :
I knew you are a great and talented person. So are you going to submit an entry for the Kempen Bulan Membaca essay writing contest? I like the one that you wrote for that trip to Ireland contest. BTW, playing bubbles is not crazy. My daughter Hanna loved it. She thought they still had that bubble place in Twinkles and she was so disappointed the last time we went to One Utama. We don't go that often - maybe just two or three times a year, and once Ikea moves, perhaps we'll make fewer trips there.)
from i-enthusiast :
i'd expect to be notified before being linked, i assumed you'd like the same ;) anyway, i got to your site through yati's gbook
from beagle47 :
in case he hasn't, i wanted to and perhaps that will do. it is sad to know people suffer with the realities of love, but sometimes the most wonderful writings are borne of such struggles. keep up the fight, and make sure you write! ;) peace, 'fly.
from nectar3103 :
i'm really sorry to hear/read about what you had to go through. i pray that your present and future will be happy.
from beagle47 :
entirely possible and happening even as you write. also, this is without question a hall-of-fame link. i cannot tell you how flattered i am (in addition to being cheesy...). ;) peace. (and i really mean that).
from hamizah :
gee, thanks :)
from indie-snob :
beck w/ the black keys review is now up. thanks!
from beagle47 :
yes, why not? me: simple, i guess. Frost (cute morals neatly rhymed), sandburg (chicago poems), Walt (self-obsession at its finest), Plath (who makes me think, and think, and think) come to mind. there are others, but none jump out. oh, cast my vote for long, too! ;-)
from indie-snob :
hello there. i reviewed a Coldplay show I saw last night and thought you may be interested. i have a bunch of other reviews here, too, including Sleater-Kinney w/ the Black Keys (who I'm seeing again tomorrow night w/ Beck). check it out, thanks!
from xyad :
salam. how goes things? just to let you know, im a fan of long entries, you just keep em coming in.
from hamizah :
You're welcome, Liyana. Loved reading your diary :) and about that title thing, well, I thought I'd change it after all...
from beagle47 :
hello. why plath?
from caralynne :
how long have you had me as a fav diary for? (blushes) merci.
from nectar3103 :
salam liyana, i like your writings. still haven't finished reading your archives though.
from malex :
"Before that I considered the cello because I loved its haunting, melancholy sound." (from your "me" page on your geocities site... #45) Guess what instrument I play...? haha this is crazy.
from malex :
Haha, eerie similarties aren't a bad thing ;) ...or is it? I don't know what kind of parallel you're talking about, do I? Maybe I'm YOU in Australia, or you're me in Malaysia. That'd be freaky! And I sooo can't imagine "She Said, She Said" sung by the Beatles.
from malex :
I really like your diary, and you have the BEST taste in music! I know hardly ANYONE else who knows The Black Keys AND The White Stripes... Good work! Hehehe :) Your diary is really cool too.
from taliarant :
Oooh! I found you via beagle47!! I am incredibly impressed! I just read this entry (http://dizzyfirefly.diaryland.com/030523_girl.html too bad there's no html in the notes, eh?) and I'm entranced! I haven't had a chance to read anything else, yet, but wow! I will definitely be back!
from beagle47 :
most likely a computer screen. thank you for your kind note. an extremely high compliment from such a wonderful writer as yourself. it is sincerely appreciated. peace. (and i really mean that).
