Sorry to hear about your cat. :( Decisions like that are never easy and I am definitely not here to judge. Good luck with ttc next month, that is awesome that your cycles are so regular, mine are sure not and I am trying very hard not to get frustrated. If I had known going off the pill would be this hard and take this long to have a regular cycle I would have gone off sooner. I am sure you will be celebrating Mother's Day next year!! Enjoy the last little bit left of school and be thankful you are done closer to the beginning of june, I am stuck there til June 30!!! :S

Yeah, that is the same practice you go to. I think they will be continuing yearly check ups and such, just nothing on the baby side of things. I really like who I'm seeing now and I'd be more than happy to share that info with you. Or you could probably contact Dr. G (the man) for another practice...he told my sister-in-law that he'd make sure they were taken care of when it comes time for them to have their next baby. And I just recommended this to someone else, but if you haven't already, I suggest you try charting for you conceiving. You could start before you two even start trying! You'll know your body a lot better and the timing of things. It lessens the feeling of disappointment because you have a better idea of whether or not it will be a success. You can contact me if you want to talk about it any. :) I'm really excited for you guys. Best of luck to you both!

That is not an easy decision to make, but good for you for going with your gut and praying for waiting to try. Maybe it is still too early to test yet? some people don't get a positive right away. I agree with you, wait and see if your period arrives or not and if it doesn't then test again. :) And try not to be too discouraged, it is only your first monnth of trying and you can just have more fun trying next!! ;)

Thanks for the mention ;) Today I spent two hours in the NICU "recording" for a new admission, meaning standing with a clipboard documenting everything everybody did. I saw my first newborn intubation as well as everything else they did. It was sad but surprisingly I didn't get emotional at all. Maybe because I was too busy to! I don't think I could be a NICU nurse though...I love them babies when they come out big and healthy! Although I saw a newborn who was leaving to go home have an apneic episode, turned purple around the mouth and flopped like a ragdoll in my arms. It was scary! But I need to see this stuff to prepare me for the future> Keep the baby entries coming I LOVE reading them :)

Isn't OB wonderful?? I love the ER but floating to OB is always a nice change. I worked in our OB this Tuesday and we had 8 babies, which is a lot for us. One had a NG Tube and one had a G-Tube. It broke my heart to see babies that sick. I am like you though, I fall in love with them everytime I am around them.

Yeah, I did kinda know that, but I had forgotten about it. It seems like I never recovered from my first illness as a baby until late high school! Concerning your cat - what could be stressing it out? People often think they are stressed, but actually their brain or muscles or some part of their body just doesn't feel right because of lack of the right food. So I'm wondering what you're feeding her. I'd stay away from Meow Mix, that makes my cat sick, and all the people I've ever known who have cats always told me that Meow Mix was trouble - yeah the cats eat it, but then they get sick. I'd stay away from Iams just because they abuse animals. Fancy feast in cans always seems to please my cat as well as not make her sick. And the dry food Dad's is cheap but seems to please her. Let me know if you discover that indeed a change of diet was what your cat needed. ~Phoenix

My old stomping grounds? I hate to say this, but I have no idea what that means. Or I might have an idea. Is it where I used to live? You could've stopped by my parents house for dinner! They loved you...even though they probably only met you that time for our science fair project...but they did like you. :) I remember the time I discovered that my route to the bookstore had been detoured on my way to work. I only wound up being 15 minutes late or so, but it felt like forever since I didn't know where I was going. I'm glad you're doing okay. I'm sure that living on your own has reduced a lot of the stress...although it can bring in it own stress. I can't wait until our girls night out. Don't worry about staying the night. If it had been anywhere else, I wouldn't be staying the night (separation anxiety, I guess). I expect that Dr. Seuss might be the only one who stays, since she doesn't have someone to go home to...although that never stopped her before, did it? She's called 2 or 3 times already today. This is becoming a daily thing and it's driving me batty. Well, I've written a book, so I'll let you go. Take care!

OY!! Cappuccino from the machines in gas stations is NOT cappuccino. It's 'coffee' flavored hot cocoa. If it's not brewed from a bean, it's not cappuccino. It makes my skin crawl to have people say "I drink cappuccino" and know that's what they're referring to. Cappuccino is made with espresso, which is a style of brewing. THAT SAID-- I practically lived off of coffee flavored hot chocolate when I was in college. I worked at a gas station third shift. Their real coffee always tasted like dirt so I might as well have had an IV hooked up to the 'cappuccino' machine. I was the happiest cashier when they brought out the pumpkin flavors!! : D

Happy b-day to rocky!!! :) Last night had to put some gas in the car and the station i went 2 it was 2.85 and i got the good stuff because they were out or regular and i put about 10 bucks in and it didn't even fill it up but i got half a tank! That just sucks so much. I would sure hope that josh dosen't decide to leave that would be hard on your sis and put stress on her witch in turn would be hard takin' care of the baby but she has you guys there! I noticed that it did that sometimes when I copied an entry after I used notepad to write it and save it. I also noticed that question marks and other backslashes will show up when I try to create and entry that has the same html page name as another page (then it resets the entry page and I have to rename it). Other than that, I don't know how it happens, but I will try to find out for you! I'll let you know as soon as I can ('cause who knows...I might run into the same problem some day!). :)

And yeah, lilo & stitch make me smile too. And cry. It's so beautiful and i'm so emotional. I feel ridiculous at times! lol The hula dance scene, when they are surfing, when stitch is looking at lilo, nani and david playing on the beach and feels left out and when stitch run away with the duck book...those scenes make me cry everytime.
