I have found myself in a harsh cycle and escaped. Insanity is your shadow and thoughts are the light that casts it. You know this though. And that is the ultimate pain in the ass, no one can give you advice that you haven't already thought of. At least, that's what I felt like. Sometimes it comes back, but rarely. That small wave of fear that hits me for no reason, where I seem to think that the trick to life is right behind me and I can never turn my head fast enough. When I was small I thought it was the fear of an ax murderer that I was feeling when I walked down the hall, when actually paranoia is all the same beast (can you feel it right now?...i...t...i...s...j...u...s...t... p...a...s...t...y...o...u...r... p...e...r...i...p...h...e...r...a...l... v...i...s...i...o...n, justpasttheglowofthecomputerscreen). The part of my mind that figures out puzzles was simply getting ahead of my awareness. One day, I stopped trying to convince myself that nothing was there and decided it wouldn't matter if there was or not. Yes, Jonah you are pathetic and it's really not that bad. You never fall if you never fight.
