Ha! I don't remember exactly which record. Probably a Blue Oyster Cult album. I was buying a lot of those that month.
from raven72d :
Still here?
from moodswing :
!oh,hello!
from moodswing :
hi
from raven72d :
still here?
from raven72d :
I hope September and October go better than summer did for you.
from raven72d :
Thank you!
from raven72d :
I'll still be updating and reading until all the lights go out.
from boombasticat :
Wow! You're one of the first people I read on here. (I've been gone for a long time but there's something about this place that feels almost like writing on paper). I'm very glad to read you again.
from secret-motel :
By the way, Happy Birthday, you young'un!
from secret-motel :
Oh, which one? "I like you, Lloyd. I always liked you. You were always the best of them. Best goddamned bartender from Timbuktu to Portland, Maine. Or Portland, Oregon, for that matter."
from alethia :
There's not many of us left, updating. But it seems to be the quiet vulnerable ones that still are, though.
from secret-motel :
SF, CA USA
from secret-motel :
Howdy. Welcome back! I'm glad you're here.
from raven72d :
It will load, but for some unknown reason, it takes forever to load. I apologise for that.
from sky-rocket :
wait, when did you write that?
from bridgecity :
I'm reading it
from bridgecity :
I'm still writing some. you?
from sky-rocket :
I tried to add a new entry but it wasn't able to be seen in the archive. doesn't look like i can add new entries and have them be stored the way I want them to anymore. anyone else having this problem?
from boombasticat :
Can I get a password?
from raven72d :
How is October for you?
from raven72d :
My forehead remains uncreased, but I live in mortal terror of bags under my eyes or a wattle. I'd have surgery in a heartbeat.
from raven72d :
Thanks! I will track the song down.
from elusive-you :
it's at a chiropractor's office!
from raven72d :
Sumemr heat and razor rash...not a problem I'd thought about!
from raven72d :
No BBQ? What did you do for the holiday? (And while I'm poor, I do understand about leaving tips)
from raven72d :
how does swimming affect your back?
from raven72d :
A scat boyband deserves its own reality TV show.
from atwowaydream :
there should be a scat boy band. like, new kids on the block, only all about shit.
from bridgecity :
Since you first wrote about him I periodically think about your entries regarding the shit smoothie guy and how much shit he may have eaten since then.
from raven72d :
there's no way ever to make scat anything other than seriously messed up.
from raven72d :
hope the mini-vacation was fun...
from raven72d :
glad to read that you're through with meth.
from elusive-you :
hope you're doing all right. i enjoy reading you.
from moodswing :
i do the same thing with dreams, if only these things could be useful. at least they are entertaining
from raven72d :
mimosas and xanax and caverns... i like that.
from sky-rocket :
nevermind. fuck it.
from sky-rocket :
locked it up because i can't get rid of certain words coming up in the google search engine, even though i've taken them off the pages themselves. leave a note and your email address for the password! and maybe the diary you have.
from raven72d :
I'm a big MacBook Pro fan.
from raven72d :
The swimsuit outfit sounds great.
from raven72d :
pinot noir is always good.
from raven72d :
No energy drinks at all for me. Coffee. Other than that, the occasional single-malt. No Red Bull, no Monster, no Rockstar. Earl Grey tea, maybe.
from raven72d :
i hope that all that anonymous. I'm here in the Deepest South reading along.
from moodswing :
yes'm. i've been around diaryland for approximately forever. i don't write as much as i used to, but i was probably following you one of the last times you were around. glad to see you're back.
from raven72d :
you have the fierceness to go up the ladder.
from moodswing :
hello, miss. i am reading.
from raven72d :
i'm reading--- though after so many years, do i count as anonymous?
from opposure :
Hello. I must admit to having read almost your entire diary on this account - it had an effect on me. Seems like you've changed for the better. Glad to hear you're doing well. You seem like someone who would be interesting to hang out with. Cheers for your sobriety - i hope it brings you enlightenment. - s
from bridgecity :
hello stranger whose diary i have been reading for several years. I am pleased you began posting entries again as there are only a handful of people's I enjoy reading.
from mangotuesday :
portland hug.
from secret-motel :
Yeah, I don't think we know each other or even live in the same city. And I haven't stalked anyone since '99 or 2000. I just read a bunch of your entries and added you. You seem like you might be the kind of person I would stalk if I was prone to stalking. But I'm not prone. There's no point. I have neither the heart nor the stomach to attempt human relationships, near or far. Sorry about this dumb note. I am a bit sauced out on this Saturday night. Please delete.
from raven72d :
update often...and do stay in touch.
from raven72d :
Hi back! Glad to hear from you!
from raven72d :
how is the Year Twelve beginning...?
from raven72d :
37 weeks--- congrats. And you have been missed.
from raven72d :
eight weeks... congrats.
from raven72d :
21. August 2011... I do hope you'll update.
from raven72d :
i hope you're back... you've been missed.
from opposure :
i suddenly discovered that your diary was unlocked. i read through several entries and also perused your pictures. i had a very strange feeling while translating your lexicon - i think it was some odd combination of that color scheme you have going and your little confused bursts of genius and profound synesthesia - but i started to feel a sort of sad bliss, like a high one doesn't want, fearing the distance of the ceiling. you seem so familiar, a forgotten sibling from my mad tree or a beautiful monster from a dream. of course, i know nothing. my investigation of you or anything is like ransacking a room without a clue what i'm looking for. maybe we knew each other in that universe next door - though i don't know if it was the one cummings was talking about. cheers. s
from boombasticat :
Still writing somewhere? Got a password?
from invisibledon :
Thanks for adding me
from bridgecity :
I don't think so. unless we met at a party or a rock show.
from opposure :
I understand having unfortunate pleasures. Now I'm curious what others you have. Will you grant me entrance into your secret trove? If so, would you mind emailing me a password? My email address is available on my diary pages.
from raven72d :
what's happened since september?
from raven72d :
still there?
from raven72d :
i do hope you'll keep writing. and occasionally stay in touch.
from raven72d :
i love Texts From Last Night: small vignettes of a world just outside my reach.
from for-tart :
and then we dried it out and vaporized it and smoked it. That's wacked. I love it.
from raven72d :
looking forward to new entries...
from raven72d :
how did all the losses happen?
from raven72d :
you're back! yay!
from raven72d :
where have you gone?
from raven72d :
miss you...
from bridgecity :
hi. you never emailed me the password. am i unworthy?
from raven72d :
do update...
from boombasticat :
Hiya. You still around?
from raven72d :
I never liked John Lennon. But then--- I never liked the whole hippie thing. I was a New Romantic and then a Person In Black.
from dulligirl :
I love the words to that song. Thanks for your comment. This whole food thing is something I've struggled with for a very long time. Sometimes I'm ok with it. But most of the time I just can't deal with it. But I will try. Again.
from raven72d :
i always think of 'atom' as an armenian name--- as in Atom Egoyian, who did "Exotica". i've never been to ireland. enigmatic text messages intrigue me. i never call anyone 'doll'.
from raven72d :
i do still want to hear your voice one day.
from for-tart :
Was it a nice nap?
from raven72d :
sorry about the romantic exchange...
from raven72d :
e-mail me soon...
from raven72d :
i love the photos you're using as links in your entries. where are they from?
from raven72d :
well, maribor is a good town.
from raven72d :
13 Jan 09--- great smiles in the photos.
from raven72d :
I hope you do recognise that, barb or no, I find you deeply intriguing.
from raven72d :
barb?oh--okay... ottobar in b-more?
from boombasticat :
I think I did know that, the Yuengling brewery in Florida. I guess they got big along the way somewhere. If you ever do get a chance to go to Pottstown (or Pottsville?), Pa., the old brewery they have there is quite a sight. It's creaky. I think the Ottobar does still do Britpop nights. That was never quite my scene, but lots of my friends used to go, as of a few years ago. Hope all's well. I liked your self-portraits.
from raven72d :
04 jan. 09--- very true.
from raven72d :
15 Dec. 08--- good photo, by the way.
from raven72d :
I'm not sure what to make of your entry, and if there was a barb in it. I'd certainly have tried to chat you up--- you are lovely ---but I'd be embarrassed to do it over a bundt pan (which I can vaguely identify). I hope that if you did speak with your older admirer that he was intelligent and fun and interesting. And I do hope you have an excellent Year Nine.
from raven72d :
28 Dec. 08--- lovely self-portrait.
from danimal42 :
i txted you when i was about to watch it, wishing you were there with me. good article in nyt, no? i was inspired by it.
from raven72d :
Beautiful photos. And--- merry Xmas, beautiful.
from danimal42 :
so you did see it after all!
from delighted :
Everything I am about to say applies to myself, I might be mistaken in thinking it is relevant to you: I expect it is a mistake to call yourself stupid. If you truly want to do something it just gets in your way. You are no more stupid or fucked up than the rest of us. Talking about it just makes you more interesting. Though ultimately you will be boring if you continue to revel in it which is what I think you are doing. Lowest common denominator living it up. Hiding out in a story. I think anxiety is created from being with people but being out of contact with those people. If you wanted I think you could write an interesting and good novel. It would, in my opinion, be very Joan Didionesque but your own. Like all of us, you are choosing and scripting this. You can choose something else. It only requires will and a change of focus. That's all. I am entirely open to the fact that this might not be you at all. In fact it is mostly me in here, but maybe you can see some of you in here too. Maybe it is helpful. Maybe it just pisses you off. Nevertheless I mean it.
from danimal42 :
guy died in a room? more details plz.
from banjomobingo :
text me password. plz.
from sky-rocket :
i'm getting freaked out about this diary now that i have a job. email me for the password...
from danimal42 :
about the blacklisted entry: you are smart and hot and a fan fuckingtastic writer btw. p.s. go to yoga class on your day off.
from erari :
is that your cat? i have a soft spot for animals. :)
from mangotuesday :
let/s lunch sometime. you work downtown right?
from soon :
How's things? You could probably tell by the look on my face... not great. I thought you were in Florida. Maybe we'll run into each other on the 4 sometime soon.
from banjomobingo :
the ball is certainly in motion for this. full custody would be a blessing, but is unrealistic due to our mother-first custody system. im just waiting on some money and information at this point...
from mangotuesday :
it was good to see you at the show the other night!
from danimal42 :
x to the o
from mangotuesday :
good. i want that for you. also. church + state are having a fashion show sat night. at the boutique i work at. seven. if you are out and about! xxx.
from mangotuesday :
love.andwelcome[back]wagons.
from for-tart :
Just a hunch, but I think he wants to live through you.
from for-tart :
Instead of a cameo appeararence, I see you as producer for Sam's next big thing.
from raven72d :
If you head west again and pass through Louisiana, give me a call. We'll do the dinner thing and talk.
from danimal42 :
once again, missing you.
from boombasticat :
Well, I see you went on that trip. New York, Vegas, and San Francisco? That's serious business.
from soon :
Wow, this guy is officially a Grade-A Douchebag.
from boombasticat :
Jesus, I just left you a long note. Sorry if it's obnoxious.
from boombasticat :
I hope I can be more specific without sounding like I'm an expert on this, because I'm not. These are just my opinions, but it's kind of incredible that an adult would legitimately give another adult a hard time for voicing an opinion about anything aesthetic (including football, absolutely). Adults are allowed--supposed to--share honest opinions about food, politics, people, football, toilets, whatever. Just because he hates football doesn't mean you can't have a conversation about some element of it. What's he saying, that nothing in football can be "amazing"? Incorrect. Most anything in the world can be amazing, when it's amazing. French fries can be amazing. Seems he has very narrow notions about what is OK and what is not. Sounds like he's holding himself to a web of high standards because he doesn't like some things about himself? Derides what he deems culturally bad, or something, because he secretly has a soft spot for it? (I'm not going to say anything about his own word choices because that'd be too obvious.) Point is, to disapprove of football: fine. To hate it: that's your right. But to not allow the other person her opinion about a particular play or a particular brand of football or anything, really, in the world, speaks a lot more about him than he'd probably care to have said. And, about the list of attributes, I hope he likes more than that. What do you like about him?
from boombasticat :
Regarding the whole thing: wow.
from danimal42 :
he doesn't get or appreciate the real you.. you're a stand in for something. what boring desires he has. a vibrant and stunning being stands before him and he's like.. as long as i'm always right.
from raven72d :
It doesn't matter whether you voiced those things to him. When I read it, I knew that if girls thought that, then they'd say it to *me*--- what the entry meant was that my own fears were true, and that girls will mock physical failings. More reasons for why I'll never have sex again.
from sythy :
regarding what he likes about you: wow.
from raven72d :
The last three entries were sad and depressing and scary.
from old-story :
dump the fuck and come hang out in chicago with me and andy. ha.
from raven72d :
I'm always glad when you say hullo. Check your e-mail later,
from sythy :
Thanks for this entry. That book sounds really good (I'd like to read it), and the introspection it seems to be inspiring in you is, in my opinion, absolutely essential to having healthy relationships/ becoming a person somewhat in charge of or responsible for her own emotional reactions. My experience has been that I first had to understand how my parents' attitudes towards me affected me, and then I had to sort through *my* response to them -- I had to figure out how to cope with my coping mechanisms. It's very interesting to read your experiences and thoughts.
from danimal42 :
this new guy's a bit cloying for your taste, no? i see what you mean about it becoming a job. my least favorite kind of relationship is where, against my will, i'm somehow looking for a dollar.
from mangotuesday :
i second soon/s comment. heartsout.
from soon :
Oh fuck. Feel better, will you?
from danimal42 :
sorry about the infection.. i'm sure you'll be back to your delightful self soon.
from sythy :
I'm so sorry you're going through that; staph infections are the fucking worst. I haven't had impetigo, but I've had another staph skin infection. Fucking hell.
from raven72d :
"Augustine"... beautiful.
from danimal42 :
u too
from bridgecity :
fantastic!
from raven72d :
Lexapro and no internet...but how did the sex happen on Saturday and Sunday?
from boombasticat :
I like "The Greatest" more every time I play it.
from raven72d :
you must call sometime...
from longitude :
let's drink
from raven72d :
i wish i could stand by the shore with you...
from southeast :
i root for you.
from danimal42 :
if you roll around in mine, can i roll around in yours?
from raven72d :
So many intriguing there in your entries... And I do sympathise with fear of "promise" evaporating as you get older.
from neeeeek :
Take it easy, things will eventually find their way. Just relax a lil bit and take a nap? Thhings are easier afterwards. Maybe you haven't looked through all the job portals yet.. there must be sth. or at least ideas where ya wanna head. Even if you might have to move or tkake extra courses. Who cares? You're young. Take it easy. Life's ahead of you. What is there to achieve anyway? More money in the bank? More friends? More certificates? Take your time. Rushing things is harmful, things are faster if you don't put yourself under pressure and take it step by step. You can do it : - ) best wishes, a friend P.s.: it's just life. In case that helps Don't worry
from soon :
Oh man, so well-written and stark. How can you say you're not a clear-thinker after this?
from heidis1984 :
he is a freak , you should get yourself sorted and move on
from bridgecity :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coprophagia
from neeeeek :
That guy should spend more money on couselling. Or should you? Just an idea.
from neeeeek :
WHOOOO.. still stuck on that idea derived from my insult? Did't mean to have such an impact. Was simply kinda shocked by your ideas and my nick name attached to them. That made me kinda angry. So I said it. Stupid coincidence.. Even bums in India wouldn't waste their time on such ideas. The lowest o the low still try to keep dignity. I wonder what's up with you. That person you write about can hardly be real and'd be in need of psychological assistance.. this is clearly pathological behaviour.
from bi-pet :
your last entry sounds like something out of 'american psycho'..
from elliestuff :
You should be getting paid more. That really sucks about sleeping on the floor, too.
from raven72d :
Clean sheets mean a lot. And since all lovely girls should sleep naked, sleeping on the floor presents problems.
from neeeeek :
*bwahaha* sounds as if you were taking up some of my ideas. What a luck it's all fiction. I'm actually impressed of the wickedness of your protagonist's thougts. Must have had a really bad childhood or something. I'm surprised they did not cancel your account yet. That's freedom of speech, isn't it?
from moodswing :
you certainly have one of the most interesting dlands i've ever read
from bi-pet :
don't stay if you're not happy. i remember thinking omg there are really people out there who don't own crockery and cutlery!?
from danimal42 :
sounds like it's time to move on.. maybe go for the fastbreak this time.
from danimal42 :
omg plus plus
from boombasticat :
Holy shit?
from raven72d :
How is life here east o' the Mississippi?
from sythy :
I like this entry a lot. I think it is a myth that you can't go home again, too.
from raven72d :
Nebraska? Hmmm... I hope we'll speak someday.
from danimal42 :
go nebraska.. we had a good time in kearney just a few short weeks ago, got groceries at boogarts. skip omaha if possible, tho the purple sunset was great.
from soon :
kelly, i just discovered your diary is unlocked. thank god, you're awesome. hope you're well.
from raven72d :
Sex is the best aesthetic.
from mangotuesday :
safe travels. i will miss you.
from boombasticat :
Thought you might find it funny that my work's automated system has prohibited me from viewing your journal. The screen says, "You are prohibited from viewing this page. Reason: Mature/Adult Content."
from neeeeek :
Eat shit and die. I mean.. you, not you. *bwahaha*
from neeeeek :
Who thinks out such a bullshit? Severely funny..

from boombasticat :
The ol' pee-in-the-mouth, clothespins-on-the-balls move.
from raven72d :
Do send me your new password...
from raven72d :
How is Florida?
from boombasticat :
I like it. I'll start wearing beat-up ball caps and drinking more. I have a hard time doing that particular accent, though it doesn't stop me from trying. I hope your trip east goes well: home of grit and traffic, serious commerce and hunched shoulders.
from dullstar :
Try monica/monica.
from bi-pet :
heya girl! would love to get your new password... [email protected] many thanx..
from danimal42 :
yo, somehow lost the password or you changed it.. may i pleaze continue reading yur brilliance?
from raven72d :
Let us know if you do get laid.
from boombasticat :
I'm enjoying your video store courtship.
from raven72d :
cute and 38...that sounds good.
from banjomobingo :
let me in lady. send me access codes! and yes, tiny raisin weiner. just like me.
from raven72d :
You have the e-mail address to send either/both.
from raven72d :
I wish you'd leave me a poem and a phone number on a rainy Friday.
from raven72d :
Androgynous and sharp-hipboned, sunk in a peacoat: I do like that look.
from boombasticat :
On dark days, I long for sun on young skin, too. And thanks for the recommendations. I used to listen to the Tortoise album with the fishes on the cover and really liked it and I just checked out Boards of Canada and they're cool. They remind me of Lemon Jelly, but less fizzy. Anyway, I'm glad to hear about your school stuff. I wish I knew how to do something visual. Also, the Fiery Furnaces were actually kind of cool last night. I read a review that said they were the "ultimate ADD" band and that's about right. They'd get into a groove that you'd like and then switch it up 45 seconds later, all night.
from danimal42 :
luv the cautious optimism
from danimal42 :
i love your writing.. don't deprive the world of your talent, plz.
from raven72d :
Write soon...
from raven72d :
Down just north of New Orleans...
from raven72d :
I envy whoever you woke with on Xmas Day.
from danimal42 :
i'm at a loss... great entry is all i can say
from boombasticat :
That's a really wonderful little thing you wrote there. So much hope and sadness and, ultimately, hope. This one's really great: "Even though I knew there wasn't much hope, there was still something, as long as we were still en route." As long as were still en route.
from banjomobingo :
pssst. let me in.
from raven72d :
Good luck at PCC.
from bridgecity :
I've never illustrated anything personal. I think there was some things from my life in snakepit years ago.
from mangotuesday :
knockknock.
from old-story :
fucking guys, indeed. that message. and you'll jump right into it. because that's what we do.
from boombasticat :
If you ever write a memoir, it should be called Feelings and Emotions and Stuff.
from division-day :
YAY!!!!
from danimal42 :
thankgod fucktard is gone.
from boombasticat :
Your diary is, you know, totally locked-up.
from raven72d :
Are you locked again?
from division-day :
holy shit, those messages are scary. it would be funny if he really did call the cops, cause obviously you aren't doing anything illegal with your "big strong man".. haha.
from soon :
i think there's some website where people can trade gift certificates with other people for ones they want more. and i'd assume you could also sell them, although probably not on the dollar. google 'trading gift certificates' or something.
from raven72d :
I use the self-service debit-card line. I'd only speak to young/hot cashier girls, anyway.
from dulligirl :
Believe me, I'd love nothing more.
from soon :
for what it's worth, my mom still thinks she has a future as a trophy wife, and she's 54.
from raven72d :
Read more, smoke less pot.
from raven72d :
Thigh-highs are good.
from raven72d :
I like the thought of talking to new boys by phone.
from raven72d :
Do you see yourself as single for long.
from raven72d :
Being alone while living with someone is never good...
from bridgecity :
i see that several need a password and i am included among them. wait...no, look, just fuck the password shit and open yr diary.
from raven72d :
I can't make the password work... May I have a new one?
from raven72d :
Password?
from division-day :
password! help! password! help! are you depriving me because i took down your link because you're pasworded? i'll put it back up!
from raven72d :
Juliana Hatfield is forty... That's so hard to grasp...
from boombasticat :
If you gave me the password, I'd use it.
from delighted :
password isn't working....
from raven72d :
Have you changed your password?
from raven72d :
Be careful with VBT... I wish we could talk.
from raven72d :
Sex is aesthetics...the more aestheticized the better.
from boombasticat :
Boys are dirty. Aren't you a Sea and Cake fan? Where should I start?
from bi-pet :
could i get your password? [email protected]
from division-day :
you don't want to take lithium. eventually you will shake in the morning, for several hours, really noticably. it makes brian look like he should be in a mental ward. now when i see people shaking like that, i know why.
from raven72d :
What were the older diaries of yours that I used to read?
from division-day :
allowed? you know i'm clean...
from raven72d :
I always encourage girls to be panty-free, but...
from raven72d :
One day I must exchange e-mails and ask you about the past and about abandoned diaries.
from raven72d :
You have no idea how much your entries fascinate me.
from raven72d :
The 22 June entry--- lovely.
from raven72d :
Write soon... I do want to hear from you...
from raven72d :
Hardwood floors are a moral imperative.
from raven72d :
And I hope you'll tell me about the previous diary...
from raven72d :
Ahhh... Good stories.
from boombasticat :
Sounds like you're doing pretty well. That stuff just breaks my heart. Be nice to yourself, yeah?
from raven72d :
The password you sent me doesn't work...
from delighted :
could I have a password? Please? I'm addicted to you.
from raven72d :
send me you e-mail...i'd love to hear more from you.
from raven72d :
un/pw: raven72d/capybara
from raven72d :
Idee fixe...both parts. Yes. Yes.
from raven72d :
I'm on your favourites list... Do you have the password?
from boombasticat :
Oh, man. I failed. I should lose a merit badge or something.
from boombasticat :
Your diary, today, is exactly one hundred percent harder to read. Is there a password and stuff I could get?
from boombasticat :
"Pine apple." Yes. What's it mean?
from boombasticat :
I like your Beckett quote. The Independence Day lyric just makes me happy. I like optimistic songs, and highlighting one from Elliott Smith just seemed right, considering the source. I've heard great things about Portland (it's almost a mythical place, for East Coast folks, full of flowers and dancing and shows and parks so green they hurt your eyes) and one of my best friends just moved back there. He talked about it all the time, when he lived in Baltimore. We'd refer to him as "Portland." I'm not trying to imply that a place makes or breaks one's happiness, but I just find myself always rooting for you, and Becky. Your writing is so intense and knife-like. You pull no punches, and I admire that.
from boombasticat :
I'd say that you deserve good things, nice things, warm things, marshmallows of cashmere. And a good steak. I don't eat a lot of steak, but when I do, I order it rare. Sometimes I get looks. What's the deal with Portland, anyway, and the diaries I read? Is it that it's always rainy? Is that the cause of the gray thread I see throughout?
from delighted :
the stuff about your dad and forehead lines etc in the middle of part deux l'idee fixe is really fucking good.
from bi-pet :
wow, your diary sounds full on. trust in yourself and do what's the best for you. i'm worried...
from division-day :
hi kelly. you know i didn't write that, right? i still love it though. there's more, at the website i linked to.
from boombasticat :
Sharks patrol these waters.
from boombasticat :
I like the "at my balls all morning" and "don't play martyr with me" stuff. Also, I'm listening to "The Greatest" and I like it. It reminds me, strongly, of Paul Simon's "Graceland." Not real sure why, either.
from mangotuesday :
i'm in california. i will be home on wednesday. send me a space note or email if you need anything. love and safety patrol.
from delighted :
Remember to believe your story. It's when you start to believe them that things get really out of hand. At least that's what happened to me. Be careful.
from soon :
Wow, this is bad. i'm with becky, you would not be overreacting if you called the cops and had him escorted out of there. someone who whips out a copy of 'Guns and Ammo' during shit like this would be justified in getting a swift police escort out of the house, let alone actually explicitly bringing guns up directly, and using them. You don't have to tolerate it for a second... as long as you know that.
from division-day :
hey, i hope you are ok. i was worried when it was locked last night. don't let him manipulate you, you are completely right that he is overreacting. with the kind of threats he has made, you could totally call the cops if you felt in danger, and maybe you should. it doesn't sound safe. take care.
from boombasticat :
I mean, that's not sane behavior. If I were a flesh-and-bone friend, I'd bring you a cup of coffee or something.
from soon :
uggh...meant to say he had his headlights off. i just woke up.
from soon :
what an utterly fucked up, hopeless situation. i can understand going back in the house or blanking out. if i thought the guy looked drunk (and from news reports, he probably was... on top of not having his headlights on and having a long history of reckless driving) i'd have a really hard time not getting in his face. despite his state. driving a car is like parenting, isn't it? everybody thinks they can do it, everybody technically can, but there's a large segment of people who have absolutely no business doing it.
from mangotuesday :
it actually makes me feel a bit better. that someone with a good heart was nearby. lets have lunch soon. love,a.
from mangotuesday :
that bicyclist is my brothers best friend.
from division-day :
girl, run from people who say "because i told you to". there are other hot guys out there... not that i'm one to talk about my boy choices, but he does not sound like good news.
from mangotuesday :
it was nice to run into you all those days ago too!
from boombasticat :
The apple stuff is nice. Don't know what plano-convex looks like, but I can guess.
from mangotuesday :
hipretty. andy is having a party tomorrow night. at the same place as the c&s fashion show. you are coordially invited.
from boombasticat :
I like that song "He War" a lot. I'm game for recommendations. I guess I like self-contained, polished rock and roll songs. I'm probably not the most adventurous: "No Complaints" from the new Beck "Favours for Favours": The Futureheads "An Experiment": Mates of State (beautiful) "Man of Metropolis Steals Our Hearts": Sufjan Stevens "This Must Be the Place": The Talking Heads Sort of like that?
