from ritsuko-san :
"Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib. Not from his feet to be walked on. Not from his head to be superior, but from the side to be equal under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved. It is nice of you to write something with so much beauty as that in your profile. I read your diary, your last entry at least. It is good to know that you are proud of your husband for the effort he does, more wives should think like that when it comes to their husband's jobs.
from woundedearth :
Nice. 'nuff said
from krugerpak007 :
I can't believe the nerve of that guy!! People can be impossible! Anyway I hope your husband gets the job that will be good for you all. Take care. Kathy
from kilowatt :
I am so pleased that you took the time to pause upon my doorstep and delicately place upon it, a lovely little gift from you. A most gracious compliment concerning my diary. The act of reading your expressed sentiment was a most decadent treat that shall be the dessert to my day. Your glorious comment of appreciation eradicated any traces of hostility and negativity that I had previously received from others. I thank you for your exquisite thoughtfulness and consideration, spreading adoration like rose petals in an effort to wipe clean any pointless verbiage from others. You are an absolute delight! For today, I wish you a peace that is transmitted to each cell in your body. And may you listen to the specific high, clear notes of your soul.
from meganwaits :

from her-story :
LMAO@dinky! My older one used to sit on the couch and watch tv while playing with his dinky. (GAG) Now that he's almost 14, I better NOT find him on the couch, watching tv and playing with this thing.
from her-story :
OMG did you SEE her?? She's a total psycho. At first I thought she was kidding....but, apparently she wasn't. Nope, not at all. I thought her head was going to start to spin and spew pea soup or something. (Makes ya think that mandatory sterilization would be a good thing in some instances...)
from ruachadonai :
What do you mean?
from her-story :
Thanks Sher... I'll let ya know how this one goes... hopefully it's a lot better than the last 40... :)
from kilowatt :
"When you're in solitary confinement and you're six feet under without light, sound, or running water; there is no place to go but inside. And when you go inside, you discover that everything that exists in the Universe is also within you." ~ Rubin Carter, "The Hurricane" ~ "Listen to your life. See it for the fathomless mystery that it is. In the boredom and pain of it no less than in the excitement and gladness: touch, taste, smell your way to the holy and hidden heart of it because in the last analysis all moments are key moments, and life itself is grace." ~ Frederick Buechner in "Now and Then" ~ I am sorry that you felt acute loneliness and isolation today. I wish there was some way I could bestow upon you the positive feelings that I possess, some of the savory anticipation of waiting for tonight's gathering with my friends, some of the peace I felt driving to a site with leftover snowflakes still sleeping on my windshield. I wish I could hug you and whisper to you that everything will be all right. I wish I could serve you almond cake. I wish I could send you a flock of wild parrots to carry you to a sanctuary somewhere perfectly still where you can encounter the knowledge that you are a treasure, phosphorescent with beauty. All day today I will think pleasant thoughts of you. I shall send my thoughts of acceptance, love, and encouragement especially gift wrapped to you. May you accept these words to you. May you begin a love affair with yourself and live life undaunted!
from kilowatt :
May you experience a year of softly expanding awareness that illuminates the divine, miraculous woman that you are. May your holidays be filled with an inordinate amount of enchantment!
from brunette99 :
mmmmmmmmm............ I bet your house smells sssssssooooooooooooo sweet and deliciuos! Merry Christmas!
from her-story :
I'll ask if anyone could help me do the background. I've never done one, so I'll need to get help. Have you searched online for backgrounds like the one you described? That's how I usually find mine. But, in any case, I'll ask my friend if you send your husband to ransack clownazon.com for me. (I'd appreciate it.)
from brunette99 :
I thought this was a funny entry, it made me laugh most of the time!
from curiouoso :
Send me an email @ [email protected] to get your password for my diary. I had to lock it. Curiouoso*.
from ruachadonai :
Sherri, I got both of your emails, my AOL is down but when it comes up I will email you. :)
from ima-bandgeek :
Thanks for adding me!! :) Adding you soon! ♥
from shelliebell :
Ahh thats sweet... Now I want to do a history of me and my sweetie!
from ruachadonai :
Sherri, you question my Christianity passing judgement on me the same way I passed judgement on him. We all judge things everyday (judge after all means "to form an opinion about something through careful weighing of evidence"), it just seems like the second a person messes up or says something that someone doesn't like they get persecuted for it. Especially since I say I am a Christian. Everyone immediately equates that with perfection. I never claimed to be perfect. Furthermore I did not say anything that is not true by his wife's own words. She said he kicked her, she said he cheated on her, she said he goes through jobs right and left. I think she is a wonderful person from all things I've read and I think you are too and I have no problem with either of you. He is another story. This is America and I have every right to display my opinion in any way I see fit as he does on his journal. I didn't hear any objection from you when I made the comment about your husband's boss and being a Christian I probably shouldn't have said that either. You are welcome to respond, or not. Either way, I will you the best.
from brunette99 :
I know EXACTLY what you mean about that whole "born again christian" thing. My mom is really involved at our church and let me tell you that she's told me about some of the biggest hypocrites there. It's like its ok for them to say that they've devoted their life to the church and God, but they just can't stop bad mouthing people. Of course, no one's perfect, but you'd tend to think that people like that would be a little more cautious.
from mathero :
Thanks so much for wanting to add me. It makes me feel special that someone finds my boring life interesting. =)
from ruachadonai :
Thanks hun! I thought it was adorable too.
from shelliebell :
Honestly it didn't weird me out at all! It made me feel happy that somebody added me! I really liked the thing from the Hebrew Talmud. Also I liked your stand on the "INFORMATION MANAGEMENT" folder. I feel the same way. PS-I just accidentlly left this message for myself on my own 'note site'... oops!
from shelliebell :
Well that was an unexpected suprise. You are the first person who doesn't know me in real life that has added me. I don't know how you found me but you are more than welcome to read. Have a great weekend.
from kilowatt :
"Appreciation is a wonderful thing; it makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well." ~ Voltaire ~ You are more than welcome for any and all words of esteem and encouragement that I can take the time to write to you. I wish I could send you a flock of wild parrots to carry you to a sanctuary somewhere perfectly still where you can encounter the insight that you and your lost friend are treasures, phosphorescent with beauty. I shall send my thoughts of acceptance, love, and encouragement especially gift wrapped to you. May you accept these words to you. Please remember to be kind to yourself and bask in the knowledge that others, even ones you have never met and live thousands of miles away, think thoughts of kindness and respect towards you. "In the depths of winter I finally learned there was in me an invincible summer." ~ Albert Camus ~ May serenity be with you in all that you are and in all that you do.
from kilowatt :
"Sometimes, when one person is missing, the whole world seems depopulated." ~ Alphonse de Lamartine ~ May time ease your pain and leave you with fond memories. May you find comfort in your friendships. In your time of sorrow may you find solace in knowing that others care and strength in knowing you are not alone. With sincere concern, I believe that tears can heal, that memories can comfort, that love lives on forever. There is a quiet place somewhere beyond tomorrow where your heart will find peace and the mist of grief will begin to clear away. May these few inarticulate words of mine express my heartfelt sympathy to you. I am so deeply sorry for your loss and I feel your anguish, since my dear friend, who I refer to as The Green Goddess, succumbed to ovarian cancer on November 29, 2004. "With every friend I love who has been taken into the brown bosom of the earth a part of me has been buried there; but their contribution to my being of happiness, strength and understanding remains to sustain me in an altered world." ~ Helen Keller ~ I would like to also take this opportunity to thank you for signing my guestbook. I am honored by your words of esteem for my diary. "A compliment is a gift, not to be thrown away carelessly unless you want to hurt the giver." ~ Eleanor Hamilton ~ You shall always be warmly welcomed and greeted at my site, Illuminations. I do hope that you visit often. I thank you for your considerate nature and exquisite generosity. May you endure these days of loss and arrive at a place of peace and understanding. I am thinking of you.
from brunette99 :
Hi, I came across your diary and I added you to my favs. I'm sorry about your friend, I guess int these type of situations it's always best to be surrounded by loved ones.
from her-story :
Well, trust me, sometimes it's really GREAT to be not pregnant... then I can fit in my jeans better. *grins*
from lonelylatina :

from supermom3604 :
I just checked your location b/c of the Portillo's reference and the fact that you know that it's snowing, and you live in Naperville! I live in McHenry! We're like forty-five minutes apart! I'm very exclamation pointy on short work weeks!
from katehackett :
:) Glad I could steal it!
from lonelylatina :
glad to make you laugh girl...anytime ;)
from aiken4clay :
Thanks for your note! I enjoyed your diary, as well! ~Linda
from babytales :
I agree complately with the whole porn situation - it completely shatters your self esteem when partners look at other women. I'm sure they wouldn't be as happy about it if we paid to oggle naked men all the time! xxxxx
from soulstyce :
I totally identify with your porn situation. My boyfriend and I have run into the same problem MULTIPLE times now :(
from katehackett :
Looooooove the Talmud quote.

from supermom3604 :
Thanks for adding me as a favorite! Your husband's job sounds awful. I'm sorry you're going through tough times. I know how it is!
from ruachadonai :
It seems like no matter where you work there is always that ONE jerk that makes you want to rip your hair out and stab them through the eye with a blunt object. I hope he finds a job he LOVES!!
from mathero :
awww, I love the pictures of your son. Too cute!! Oh and I stole the hug counter idea. hehe.
from jaykay617 :

Hey, you left me a message on my diary, and I know how special I felt, so I had to return the love! Thanks for the little bit of encouragement... even though it came from a stranger, it helped hearing it. Thanks :) I hope to hear from you again sometime. PS - I'm "borrowing" the quote in your profile, just cuz I think its perdy dang neat! :) :) :)
from cera-jeanne :
Good luck with quitting smoking. You have to really want to. It took me 3 or 4 times of trying but with a LOT of willpower it can be done. And the gaining weight thing just happens at first while you are trying to curb your nicotine craving with a snack... Good luck! : )
from adorabelle :
Hey, thanks for leaving the note on my diary. I'd love to get some info from you! You can shoot me an email at [email protected]. I'd love to hear from you!
from yellowrosetx :
I enjoyed the quote in your profile! Glad you had a great birthday! Take Care!
