I have finally unlocked my diary. If my ex wants to read my business, let him.

from bindyree :
I just sent you a blind carbon regarding the latest adventures from the delivery company. Please enjoy, and thanks again for the inspiring note with the valuable info!!!! Love ya!!! xoxoxoxo
from bindyree :
Wow, I never even thought about the 'violation of medical privacy' aspect of this issue. The red-hot minute I'm awarded my zillions of dollars, I will take you to Disneyland! Thank you thank you thank you for such an interesting heads-up!
from portia12 :
Thanks for the note about Heidi Janet. I just got it today as I tend to get so much junk in that email that I tend not to see new notes for a while. I really appreciate it. You are such a good friend for Heidi! Thinking bout you and your dad.
from portia12 :
How is Heidi?
from whystinger :
Well, well, well, welcome back!!!!!!
from kait77 :
I need some input on my post 9/20/07 about names. I appreciate any input from you and anyone you send my way.
from sassers :
Oh JP. It's great to see you updating again. I feel good but so so strange! It is like a shock to the system to suddenly be at a weight you haven't even dreamed of since 1999.
from kait77 :
hope you heal soon. Me I am back to bed. I am too tired to deal with today.
from whystinger :
I'm glad you updated... I was beginning to wonder. Hope you write soon.
from kait77 :
OMG I am so sorry you hurt yourself so bad in the fall. I dislocated my tailbone before. I also have R.A. in the joints that connect the hips, spine, and sacrum. So I have a vague idea of how much pain you are in. I pray for a swift recovery. I have spent 2 months in physical therapy. Only recently have they begun adding homework. I was too weak for it at first. Now my insurance wants me to take a week off while they decide if I get anymore therapy. Oh well, if they say no I will just wait till after my surgery and have my rheumy send me back under the R.A. dx. right now I am there under the fibro dx. Then I have the lupus dx if I need more beyond 2 more months. I really hope you get better soon. Chiropractic care can do wonders. I have also heard that your bed can have a huge impact on recovery from these kinds of injuries. I will be thinking of you in the next few weeks. I took pain meds tonight because it got to be too much. I am gonna see about switching from Humira to Embrel. dland won't let me comment on your entry page directly so I am doing it here- they claim I am a spammer.
from hothead :
thank you baby. thanks to all the love, support and warm white light i received, i did just fine. :)
from dandydandy :
Hey, feel free to rant in my comments anytime you like. It's free therapy! Also: 93 degrees? It's as if you are speaking in a foreign language. :)
from haloaskew :
I know...but I don't have the 2 big TEXAS current registration and inspection stickers in the left lower windshield. If I was pulled over, I would've had old Texas plates and a KY driver's license. They'll hang you for that kind of shit. Or at least fine the hell out of you. But yes, the irony. I know.
from dandydandy :
Ya know, it's funny you mention it because I often FORGET to pee. Sometimes I'm running around in the morning and then think: Doh! I better pee! Because of this, I'm prone to UTIs. Okay, I just wandered over into TMI. Anyway, I really enjoy hearing about your perspective of healthcare. I don't enjoy that you NEED the healthcare, but I'm glad you so generously share. It helps.
from smedindy :
Hey Janet - no need to blog after you got the CD. You did your part - I just wanted some hype for it, so I sent it our early to get reviews!
from dandydandy :
Here's how the CD thing worked: Smed gave some people the CD without them asking, but required us to review the CD so that other people would want it and grovel! Ha! So yes, please copy and paste freely. :) By the way, I very much agree with you that you deserve the mix.
from tiaris :
Sounds like you need a letter that requires a little concentration to help you get your mind off things. How about D?
from wifemotherme :
Amen! I wish I could have articulated this: <<<<<<We spend our entire waking/public life trying to keep it in check, trying to reign in those crazy thoughts and impulses. By the end of the day, we are exhausted by the enormity of the task.>>>>>>
from hibiscus101 :
i recieved a pleasant package in the mail today. Thank you so much. The card is darling and the stack of cds has been entertaining me at work this evening. Happy Holidays!
from heidiann :
You did send me books I haven't read yet! But the way I deal with my shopping obsession is by putting shit in the "save for later" section of my Amazon shopping cart. It's a sickness but at least it's free! And I'll call you ASAP on Monday, as soon as I leave the doctor's office. With my list of diseases and syndromes!
from sassers :
I admire you; you are your own Woodstock, and not many people get to be their own heroes.
from haloaskew :
I love you! You said the words I needed to hear. Thank you SO MUCH!!
from prolifique :
You know, I WOULD wash your brain, but it turns out my mind is still dirty, so apparently I haven't completely gotten the hang of it. ;p
from dandydandy :
Ha! Thanks for your comment. Cracked me up! And now I'm running downstairs to the basement. Just to make sure. ;)
from kait77 :
Thanks. It was offer in the past to have him sent to some nation where white people are made slaves but I stupidly turned the offer down. Knowing what I know now I really wish I had thought about it a little more. I know it would have been totally wrong to have it done but it would have been such a good way to teach him what being treated worse than an animal is like. Heck, I should have asked if they could have had him forced into the sex slavery so many women and girls are sold into. That would have been the best way to show him exactly what it felt like to be married to him. I just hate so much the feeling that despite escaping and getting my girls out that his cruelty is continuing to affect my life. I had believed that by now that part of my life would no longer affect my life today beyond not having the girls living with me.
from dandydandy :
I'm really glad you are a girl too because...OUCH! :)
from bindyree :
Thanks for touching my button. ... :-D
from haloaskew :
I'd heard that, but I actually thought the 555 thing came up YEARS earlier for movies that had to use phone numbers as "props."
from forty-plus :
Came for a visit via your banner. Love all the pictures! I'll be checking back when I have more time to read. Have a great day & LOVE the Woodstock tattoo! Love.
from sassers :
Just so you know, I wanted to lick you before you knew a fairy and a unicorn.
from haloaskew :
YES! Ritz and cheese! Be it cheddar, Havarti, tubed, or Velveeta, it's all good. Don't forget to add a spanish olive! (So NUMBY!)
from haloaskew :
Oh, shit. I hope Schlitz is still making beer, for the next time I'm in the poor house again. WHOO!
from tiaris :
Hee! Yeah, this is my fourth diary. I closed the first one after my divorce. I still miss it, had it for three years. I closed the second one after I decided the name was too location-specific. I closed the third one after an incident with a psycho I was dating. In fact, since I've started this one, I had a brief hiatus since I'm also on, you know, that space thing (not hard to find me if you click on some of our common friends), and I worry about worlds colliding, but now? Tough noogs. If people from there find me or don't like what I write or someone I know "in real life" stumbles upon it, they are cordially invited to make like a lemming and leap.
from tiaris :
Hi! I keep seeing your name come up at all my friends' places (Lauren, Chris, Carrie, and Smed), so I thought I'd come on over and look through your cupboards. Don't mind the wee little monkey-bird as she raises your hit count. Least ya know I'm not a stalker. ;-)
from sassers :
Hiya--I totally got a letter from you and then I sent you one back! Maybe LA is the mail (male) nexus of the universe where it is hard for things to come and go. :)
from irreverent1 :
I tried to leave you a comment, but it told me I was a spammer!! :( I am sad.
from red-savannah :
re:your note on Jen. I LOVE YOU, JANET!!!!!
from sassers :
I like you. I think that about sums it up for now.
from artgnome :
Thanks Janet, I hate living in this God-forsaken, conservative, so sense of anything good city. I spend most of my time biding it. I wish you lived nearby too!!!!
from lifeasme66 :
Hey girl, just checkin' in. Heard you and Lauren had a blast in Phoenix! Thanks for the invite to go with you... with the new job and the shortage of cash right now, it would have been impossible to get away for that, but I still wanted to let you know that I appreciate the gesture. =) **HUGS!!**
from sparkspark :
I can't find the cord for my digital camera! It's so terrible. I have to replace it, then I'll put up some pictures. Hang in there, baby! XOX Violet
from smedindy :
Oh, I liked Nebraska, especially the western part along US 20 - the ranch country did have some neat vistas and such things!
from smedindy :
Wow. Since I have that, I never looked to see if it was on iTunes. Cool. Rock on!
from smedindy :
Hey, I felt the same way too about the ladies back in the day! I just chose wisely in early 1993 and the rest is history! Hang in there - you're picker's software will get updated. Hopefully, not my Microsoft, though.
from smedindy :
Reference from Lauren's comments: Hey, now! A lot of my friends (and me) aren't assholes. At least not at the present time!
from smedindy :
Hey! Hey! Thanks for the add!
from heidiann :
I bow before the magical Sweet-n-Low packet. May I rub it between my breasts for good luck?
from haloaskew :
Yes, send me some questions to ask the dead! I'm sure they'll get a big kick out of the twinkies question. Or if I ask: "So, like, what's up?"
from smedindy :
You know - that's because we, people of beauty and taste - are the cool kids, and we hang where its cool! Heh!
from haloaskew :
I'm waiting for the lambs to stop screaming. Really. They need to SERIOUSLY HUSH THE FUCK UP ALREADY. Am I right, or am I right?
from heidiann :
The black wiry hairs I can't rest without tweezing are the random ones that just pop up on your cheek or the usually semi-hairless parts of the face. I will seriously spend an hour trying to pull one out with my nails if I have no tweezers. Which is why I now keep a pair in my car. Speaking of which, I've found the best time to tweeze is sitting in my car before walking in to work. I think it's the lighting. If I could, I'd sit out there all morning doing it. Though, I will say, when I'm on vacation and act like a hermit for a week or two, I enjoy letting the beard grow. It gets all soft and it's so fascinating to look at. Like, 'wow, I'm a bearded lady!!' Science rules. And sucks at the same time.
from haloaskew :
Today, I thwarted a veritable plethora (!!) of interlopers. Et toi?
from the-moo :
for leaving the comment on hotheads diary.. I just wanted to come by and leave you a GREAT big *huuug* she needs more people like you... who doesn't!! YOU RULE!! xxx
from bluemeany :
I am also hoping for a girl squirrel! I will name mine Maggie Gyllenhaal (because the resemblance, I'm sure, would be uncanny) and she would go and make a bunch of shitty movies. And Cleo can direct.
from haloaskew :
You still there?
from sparkspark :
I think the squirrel would love popcorn--you are obviously already a qualified owner!
from swirl-girl :
Hi Janet, thanks for your note. I agree that some of it is seasonal. I know this happens to me and yet every year I'm taken by surprise how lousy I feel. BTW, THANK YOU for suggesting tilapia, I made it last week and loved it! It's 100 calories for a 4 oz filet with 23 grams of protein. Great suggestion! I'm going to work that into my weekly cooking. Hope things look up for you soon, longer days are a-coming!
from haloaskew :
THANKS, SWEETS! BUT IF YOU HAPPEN TO RUN INTO ANY GEEKS AT WORK, GET A DIAGNOSIS AND HOLLER! OR JUST HOLLER. WE SHOULD YELL TOGETHER ANYHOO, RIGHT?
from dragprincess :
First of all, I *LOVED* the CDs you sent! Second, I'm not going to go the surgery route right now...I'm going to take my doctor's suggestions and see how I do with a trainer and nutrionist. But you know I'll keep you updated at all points!
from swirl-girl :
Thanks for the note. That's a GREAT idea! There used to be a guy who would hang out at my exit looking for money/food/etc. When the beanie babies were in happy meals, I would buy the meal and give it to him as I came down the exit ramp. He's not there anymore but I'm sure there are no shortage of people who could use a lunch. Thanks!
from haloaskew :
*Fanning my blushing cheeks with my hand* You are too sweet. Have no fear, chicka. There is more to come. So much more! :)
from haloaskew :
I can't believe you read my whole diary in 2 days! Wowza. I'm so flattered! (Thank you!) Yeah, the ex-boyfriend did disappear from my entries as well. That whole thing puttered out into nothingness shortly after I moved here (ironic, huh?) and there were so many other things to discuss instead of him. Plus, I knew he had my diary URL, and I didn't want to give him the satisfaction (or let him know what I was thinking). But I'm glad I finally managed to write an entry to fill in the gap (half hoping he read it). Speaking of reading, I need to delve into your diary! Wheeeeeee!
from haloaskew :
Oh my god! You're the first person to say anything! I was going to write an entry about Nub (Noodle)...his last day. But I was so choked up, I couldn't do it. I wrote a bunch of drafts that were never posted. I didn't want to be all depressing. Kept thinking I'd post something "later." I'm gonna have to scan some pix and do a Nubbus Memorial. He was DOE DWEET! MY BOY. And Rosie looks so much like him, it makes me squibbly in a good, yet eerie way. When she purrs in my ear, I know she's channeling Nub. Is that weird?
from sunshine0221 :
Thank you so much for the add. And back at ya. Your journal is really wonderful.
from swirl-girl :
I would LOVE to meet up with you! It's a date (albeit a very far off one). I got your card yesterday, thank you! Yours went later than I wanted so it will be more of a new year's card. I love that you're updating your blog so often, your entries are always so thought-provoking and really make me think about my own reactions to life. Take care!
from dragprincess :
Ok, let's do it! I'm going to run 3 times a week....
from dragprincess :
whew, that was a hard entry to read. ambien was one of the drugs that brought me to my knees -- the last stop on the drug train that had been my life. i can only say: look at what else is going on around you and really consider if ambien is helping...or harming.
from bluemeany :
Nice Monty Python banner. I love the silly walks!
from blue-froggie :
ok, so i saw the woodstock banner too and had to check it out. i love woodstock and snoopy. and you caught my attention so i thought i'd say hi :)
from momma-at-17 :
I got caught by a banner as well. I saw the book you are reading, and I think that's neat because I picked that exact book up from the library today. Is it any good?
from candoor :
woodstock grabbed me... I shall return :)
from angeleyescia :
hey! Just clicked on your banner! (yes, im one of those annoying people who click on your ad and then leave a pointless note! ^_^) Anyway, just wanted to say that your life fascinates me. Your diary is like nothing else on Diaryland. I shall be visting again! Talk to you soon, Ciara. x
from swirl-girl :
Thanks for the note! I won my auction so I'll let you know how it goes. ANYTHING would be better than the regular iPod. SO many times I'd be in my endorphin groove, trucking up some hill and my "bring it home" song would come on and then pfffft... Nothing. The thing would freeze up or shut off or whatever. I've literally almost chucked on the side of the road countless times. Anyway, congrats on your new job!!!! I hope it really goes well for you. 2 out of 3, you'll have the third goal down in no time!

Problems sleeping? =/

What a beautiful place to live. Can I move in? I promise not to bring my 5 kids. :-)
from amile :
Hi! I started a diary ring for those of us who have undergone or are planning to undergo weight loss surgery. My surgery is scheduled for April 12th. I was wondering if you might want to join the ring-- I think it would be great to have all of our diaries linked together. The name of the ring is wlsurgery. Jill
from wifemotherme :
AWWW Thank you..I always love the story of us entries. Its the fastest and easiest way to get to know someone and where they are coming from. Thank you for sharing
from wifemotherme :
Thank you so much for linking me and useing something I said. HOstly I needed to re-read that myself. I have been so whinny I cant stand myself latly and I think that entry (http://wifemotherme.diaryland.com/030215_25.html)gives a good understanding to me. I am just way to full of the wrong stuff latly
