re: robert downey jr entry BEST THING ON DLAND EVER
from tiggersnail :
Alright, sweet. I'll stay subscribed to your D*land feed then. Thanks! :) Now, to start sorting through like... six months worth of Diaryland entries from everyone. (Thank goodness I'm still unemployed?)
from tiggersnail :
Haha, well I did subscribe to both before realizing that the content overlaps. I'm too lazy to check, though, so I'm just gonna ask -- do your friends-only LJ entries get posted to D*land? Because those obviously don't make it to your RSS feed from LJ, so I feel like I'm missing half of your content. :(
from pseudonymity :
Thanks! That's what I want to hear! I think that's how I found you - Black Keys. They kick more ass than necessary. I enjoy your journal as well; biting wit is a winner for me!
from clairecav :
For some reason there I forgot how to spell. They would be balding men, actually. Oh, and they all hold hands a lot and try to be inspiration. It's rubbish.
from clairecav :
Hmm, I have no idea where it started originally so I won't accuse you Americanoes of robbing it off us. But I don't blame you for watching it, it is actually quite crap. Our version doesn't have any 'hot chicks with suitcases' though, we just have baldning men with boxes.
from clairecav :
Ooh, you cruel wench (yes, it's me again, your notes-page stalker), going off and leaving Diaryland. I have deep hatred for Livejournal but I suppose I'll just have to go and read your fun shenanigans there.
from clairecav :
What, so I can't claim the whole world now? Fascists. Anyway, the point I came to make, before I was so RUDELY distracted (looking nowhere... Rachel), was that normally I'd have to kill you for dissing not only Johnny DEpp's hotness, but especially his HATS, which are absolutely groovy in my opinion. But I feel happy and dandy so won't kill you. Hurrah!
from tiggersnail :
This is to ensure that Claire doesn't monopolize your notes section. She'd probably do something like that and then claim lordship over the entire world or something. WELL IT WON'T HAPPEN, CLAIRE! Not on my watch. Just lookin' out for you, Sara.
from clairecav :
God, I ramble to you, don't I?
from clairecav :
Some of the American show was good. Bon Jovi were good, but I'm just a bit of a Bon Jovi weirdo like that. And when Will Smith did the whole theme-tune from Fresh Prince Of Belair - that was good too. I'm not ashamed to say I was rapping along (though maybe I should be). You definitely have to see Dog Day Afternoon, because it is very cool and funny. And also, it has Al Pacino in it, which is really a reason within itself! I read some of your LJ (because I'm your stalker) and you mentioned the band Gorillaz. Well, I don't know if they go on tour, but I DID learn something kind of interesting about them. The lead singer in Gorillaz is the lead singer from Blur. I think it's Blur anyway. That Damon man. Though, I've just thought, you might not know who Blur are if they weren't very big in America. So if you don't know who Blur are, then ignore me. They sang that "Common people" song, if you were wondering.
from clairecav :
Oh my goodness, you don't know how much I want to kiss you (not in a lesbian way, please understand) because that is such an insanely kind offer. HowEVER my computer is crap. Nothing works. The sound doesn't work. Everything's slow. I need a new one and stuff. So not even Doctor Who would work on my puter. Which STINKS. I'm hoping it'll be on BBC3 again soon though... there was an advert the other down about the Christmas Countdown for the NEXT Doctor Who. Shocking.
from clairecav :
It really is very cool how you like Doctor Who... though what do you think about the chemistry between Rose and the Doctor? I mean, Rose is off with every man who comes along (and her loser boyfriend Mickey) but surely she must be in love with someone that fabulous? And the Doctor, as a Doctor and time-lord or whatever the heck he is - is he allowed to fancy some earth girl? It's something that's been bothering me all the time I've been watching it. Because things like that annoy me. I also like the way that when you like something, you REALLY like it and talk about it a lot... I do that too and I like to feel the obsessive vibes from other people. I mean that nicely.
from clairecav :
Yes! Yes! A real update on DIARYLAND (I hate livejournal... I refuse to have one). With love for Doctor Who and Christopher Eccleston - fabulous. I had so far failed to find anyone else who found him fanciable but now my mission is complete. Sadly, he won't be back for the next series... that sucks.
from clairecav :
AHA! Ignore me, ignore me, I have found you. Hurrah! I've got a lot of catching up to do...
from clairecav :
Meeeeeeeeeanpoooooony, I miiiiiiiiiiiss you, I neeeeeeeeed you... yes, that was me serenading you. Please update. I'm going to have to invesigate.
from clairecav :
Meanpony - WHERE ARE YOU?
from clairecav :
Ahh, interesting answers! I can't believe I actually asked that fart question though...
from clairecav :
I'm trying to think of 4 really good questions for your Mementry... it's not every day that you get to ask somebody random questions without seeming like a total freak, so I want to make them really good. Ah, screw it. 1) What's your biggest insecurity about? (should that 'about' be there, or should it just be "what's your biggest insecurity"? I dunno. I don't care) 2) What's the most worst thing you've ever done 3) How many times do you fart a day 4)If you could marry anyone, who would it be. These are gay, I know, but oh well.
from clairecav :
Embarrassing but funny... oh so funny.
from clairecav :
Little Britain is like a phenomena (I have no idea how to spell that word) over here. To the point where it's annoying. At first it was like a little strange, cult kind of show. But then everyone started watching it and quoting it and it's like "Ok, shut up, you're making it unfunny.". Kerrang is originally a magazine I think, then they had the music channel and now we have Kerrang radio in SOME parts of the country (mine! Yip!). Ooh, and I'd just like to say that I have become a bit obsessed with reading your older entries... I like to read people's older entries because it shows if they;ve changed and stuff... but yours are especially groovy because of your added notes about them... just like Anne Frank did at some points. And in one of your entries you were MEAN about Anne Frank! =P That was very bad. But very, very funny.
from clairecav :
I wish i could somehow defend the actions of the extremely weird BBC game... but I can't. The Brits like cross-dressers. Have you ever seen an episode of the (insanely funny, but kind of over-commercialised now) programme Little Britain? There is a LOT of cross-dressing in that programme and even homophobes don't seem to mind... Eh, and sometimes people here like to think Madonna is English because she wore a flat cap and said she liked English "ale" (which is a word only strange people use).
from clairecav :
For a moment there I thought you meant ME... then I realised that that is what I said in my diary. Maybe you DID mean me after all, in which case you can "say the magic words and I'll piss off" (to quote Drop Dead Fred randomly). But anyway... X Factor rocked. On www.ebaumsworld.com there is a clip of one of the funniest auditions EVER. From a man who worked in a chicken factory and sang Barbie Girl by Aqua... it was hilarious. But distubing. Hmm.
from clairecav :
You made me laugh FAR too much when you talked (or wrote... whatever...) about American Idol. Even though I don't think it's quite as good as our X Factor (here in Eng-er-land) and I wish that the judges would drink out of plain cups so they didn't have to blur it out, the programme is still insanely cool.

from raven72d :
You do tell wonderful stories. Still-- as a great fan of small, shaggy ponies (Small Mongolian Ponies and little Exmoor Ponies are the best), I think "meanpony" is not perhaps the best name you could choose.
from greenfinch :
oh my god, you tell stories like acid trips.

I love Beck; I also love OSU; I also love actuaries. Can we get married now?
from ophelia-w :
Lost Cause by Beck is lovely. And you know you put that about Gary Jules, and him being so much more than that Mad World song? Well, I think so too. You know the song, Poetry? It is one of my faves. Just thought I had to comment. If you wanna read my diary because you're wondering who the hell I am, then just leave a note for me. It's locked right now. *love* Hannah xxx
