I am so sorry to hear about everything you are going through. I haven't been here in a while, but I hope everything is getting better. Big Hugs. You are all in my thoughts.
from laurie2002 :
I will definitely pray for you and your family.
from pandora111 :
I always need to VENT, usually about the exact same things--so here is a great big HUG!!!!
from enchancea :
Well I hope you feel better soon and I dont think you should delete it because your journal should be you and that includes moments like this. Goddess knows I would die if I went back and read the beginning of my journal.
from camham :
Glad to see you back. I like the new lay out. Camden has not had a bottle since he was 6 months old (and even then it was only one a week of breastmilk). Now he is big enough to use a sippy cup at meals and nurse in between. Even if your little boy refuses bottles (smart boy) it just means he is most likely smart enough to hold out for the real thing. As for the stored breastmilk, can't you start using it to mix in cereals and foods that he is eating? You probably don't need to keep pumping as often (joy of joys!!). Camden only nurses 2-3 times a day and eats solids other times. Even if you only nursed AM and PM that would be fine at this age I think, right? Won't it be joyful to say goodbye to the pump?
from enchancea :
This layout is beautiful
from f-i-n :
lovely poem
from kestra :
Beautiful poem and Falcon is too cute! How is the daycare situation going? I know you liked the really expensive one, then you thought about switching to a less expensive daycare situation... So I just thought I'd ask if it's worked out for you. :)
from jensanimals :
Wow, what a head of hair!! He is soooo Cute!!
from jensanimals :
Gee, Thanks for reminding me that my baby is about 3 in a few days :( (3 years old,already..where the hell did it go?) They grow up way to fast. I am not having anymore so I will just have to read about everyone elses now.
from kestra :
You sound like me after I had Bowen. After the newborn stage, I wanted to do it all over again! It used to be that Bowen was always the youngest baby, but as soon as I started seeing babies littler than him, I started getting jealous! It's funny, but I don't have the same driving urge to have baby #3 as I did to have baby #2. Gee, it sounds like I'm going to start designating them like the Borg. ;-)
from camham :
I'm there with you, girl. Our libdo hormones must be hanging out together :) Heather
from thaichic :
Hey girl. Have I done or said anything to upset you? I hope not. I sure do miss talking with you.
from starlight42 :
First let me say that I completely agree that Greg's ex is an idiot. And it was irresponsible of her to let Star get an ear infection, to then take her to ER and then not even give her the medicine she picked up! I would be pissed off too and I can see why she annoys you guys. However, I do have to disagree with one thing, a divorce is not always between the entire family, I think it is mostly for the couple. An example, Dave's aunt and uncle were divorced about 15 or so years ago. Most of the family does not associate with his "ex-aunt", however, some still do. He does, he still considers her an aunt, since she was for many years. They had 2 kids, Daves cousins, and of course for birthdays they were invited, in fact, Stacey (his cousin) and him were best friends and still are to this day. Since the mom had custody, a lot of stuff was at her house, it's not like they weren't going to go because of it, even though they weren't 100% happy with her. Another example, no divorce involved, but I was engaged about 7 years ago, we broke it off, but I'm still great friends with my ex's brother. However, not with the entire family. We're still friends to this day, he was even at my wedding, even though my parents thought that was weird. Anyway, I guess I'm just trying to say that although it sucks, family might continue to be associated with her. It's not anything against you though, I wouldn't take it that way. But like I said, I completely see why she's a pain and it's hard for you to put up with her!
from cmkern3 :
Why don't you try to work something out with work to work (could I say "work" one more time?) M-Th and have Fridays off. Or work from home on Fridays? Then if you really like this chick, it'll work out? Plus you'll be w/your son more often!
from thaichic :
Gosh darn it I missed his pic!!!!!!!
from thaichic :
What cute pictures! I have a sling I bought off EBay and it's supposed to be pretty darn good, but honestly I cannot for the life of me figure how to use it. I'm very impatient I guess. I need specific instructions or I just throw things to the side. It's still sitting in my drawer brand spanking new since Aidan's birth. Anyway Falcon is such a cutie pie! So adorable! How are things really going for you girl? You don't talk much about you anymore. Hope you're good. Take care- Jen
from bettyalready :
Can't get over how cute that haircut is! Had to say it again. It is HARD not to be irritated w/ the spousal's. When I cook, HE cleans up. At least he does that. But the house is always a MESS.
from camham :
Hey there. Sorry I haven't written in a while. I love your new do! Thanks for the support on co-sleeping. I am heading in the way of abandoning the crib for now. I will still use it for naps and when I first put him down in the evening, but after that he can come to bed with me. That's why we have an extra bed room!
from ohnobaby :
Oh I LOVE your hair! It makes you look much younger (dont take that offensively!). I wish cutting my hair off would make me look that different. And Falcon is so adorable, even when he's fussy.
from thaichic :
OMG! You cut all your beautiful hair off! Well it still looks great. Seriously I love it. I should do something like that too. I've been wanting to. I have long thick hair like you, well not as long, and I just hate how flat and heavy it can get. Oh and Falcon is so adorable. He's so healthy. So glad to hear from you!
from jensanimals :
That was ALOT of hair!! Looks great. I need to do that to mine. It is about as long as yours was. I haven't had the guts to chop more than 8 inches off at a time. Maybe someday.
from jensanimals :
Wow, 4 months already.. That does not seem possible.(coming from a mom with a 12 year old and whose "baby" is about to turn 3. :( Glad he is doing so well. Yep, it definitely sounds like his weight and height are gonna hit the limit right at the same time. At least he lasted in the infant seat 4 months.3 of Mine were born at 10 pounds, they were not even in it that long.
from thaichic :
Welcome back. We've missed you. Your son is gorgeous. He has your eyes. Well he has a lot of your features I'm sure, but his eyes really stand out. Thanks for putting up the picture.
from thaichic :
Hey lady, hope you're okay. Miss ya- Jen
from enchancea :
wow what a different between all those weeks
from jensanimals :
The new layout looks great... Sorry to hear about all the problems Greg is having. I sure hope that he is able to get the help he needs to kick his problem. Good Luck to you in having the strength to get through all of it.
from starlight42 :
Wow- I'm so sorry to hear all that's going on. I am glad though to hear that you're trying all that you can to make this work. And it just might work, it sounds like right now he's agreed to do a lot to get help. I wish your family the best!
from bitterwineuk :
sorry to hear about your situation, i have recently parted with my husband over the same things after a second go at things. (the same things happened last year and we were unable to make things work properly.) I wish you all the strength in the world to do whats right for you and your baby. I know how tough it is when your partner has an addiction of some sort so I wish you all the best in everything you do. Becca
from pfratz :
oh wow, I am so sorry you are going through this! I hope he goes through with everything and that things get better for you all.
from kestra :
This is worse than adultery, in my opinion, because not only does he fail to help you or be faithful to you, for instance, but he's actively working against you, hurting you in a very real way - and not to discount any of the emotional hardship either. Have you called the police on him? It wouldn't matter if you think he will change and plan on working things out, but if you plan on separating, getting documentation, such as a police report, is very important. Anyway, I hope your mom has come through to support you through this difficult time. It really sucks that he waited until after you both had a kid together until he does something crappy like this (twice), sometimes I wonder if it was just because he started to feel comfortable, like he didn't have to worry about losing you, so that's why he stopped trying to be such a good husband. It would be better if he got treatment, for himself if not anybody else, but I really don't know how much hope to hold out for that...
from thaichic :
He's using your money for drugs? OMG! What are you going to do? He doesn't bring it home and do it around you and Falcon does he?
from thaichic :
Why can I not get in anything when I pump???? I'm so envious. I'm glad your first day back wasn't too bad. I know it was hard. it's still hard for me.
from frogmom :
It does suck you have to go back to work! I am sure it will be harder on you then your little man!
from cmkern3 :
MAN! It goes fast doesn't it???
from pfratz :
Yup! We lived in Indy when I was really little, but moved to Spiceland probably when I was 3-4. Then we moved to rural New Castle when I was in the 3rd grade. I took a look at that link and found one for Mooreland, which is not far from New Castle. I'll know more later today I hope, when Dennis gets home from work.
from frogmom :
Madison had a jumperoo and LOVED that thing! She had a saucer and didnt really like it
from enchancea :
That picture is so cute
from thaichic :
Awww Falcon is so adorable. Glad to hear your trip went good. Real Estate out here is unbelievable too. Tim is from Indiana. We thought about moving there for like 2 seconds and realized we would be leaving all our immediate family here.
from pfratz :
That's the cutest picture EVER! So cute! I'm jealous, I'd love to live in Indy!
from frogmom :
sounds like you had an awesome trip!
from crazeemomma :
What a gorgeous baby boy you have!
from pfratz :
Oh, I took a look at the pics - he's adorable!
from pfratz :
I hate that, really. I mean, YES, I'm a sahm and I do most of the housework, but darnit taking care of two kids isn't easy work! It's weird, when Dennis came home from Iraq last time and was home for almost a month with no work - he was like "I get it now. I understand what you've been saying" that lasted like - a month after he went back to work LOL. Enjoy your time with your baby, the housework is always there :)
from enchancea :
He is so adorable!
from thaichic :
Awww you shared pictures? I wanna see!!!!! And you're right; you should just eat up all the time available with Falcon. It is hard to get chores done. I do mild cleaning, like dishes and wipe downs during the week and then on weekends when Tim is off we spend a couple of hours doing the major stuff together, like laundry and vacuuming, mopping, etc. I'm always eager to get Aidan from my parents daycare after work and school, but I can't stand a really messy house, so sometimes I'll drop by my home on the way out there real quick and throw in a load of laundry or just tidy up, so when I get home with Aidan I can go right into our nightly ritual; shower(both of us),nurse, some play time, nurse again, and he'll usually dose off for a bit. If I'm not too tired I'll go prepare my work clothes and lunch for the next day and I'll get Aidan's diaper-bag and outfit ready for tomorrow as well. Anyway I'm rambling- I think you're doing great. You're putting your son first and that's a mother. You're awesome. Just reading your posts I know you and Falcon have an amazing bond.
from starlight42 :
Awwww....he's getting big!! You look so happy :) Thanks for sharing the pics.
from thaichic :
LOL1 You are so funny. What a perfect update. I'm sorry to hear about your sister. I can't stand ungrateful people. You'll have to tell me how Falcon did on the plane ride when you get back. Have a great time! -Jen
from frogmom :
I would be pissed if my sister acted that way too. Oh wait that IS something my sister would do! Have a nice, safe trip to Indy! I love the layout!
from starlight42 :
Have a nice time in Indy! That's nice you'll be seeing your parents exchange the vows. Wonder if my parents will do that...they already passed 25.
from frogmom :
I know I told lil white lies to my ped and it never hurt anything! You know whats right for your baby!
from jensanimals :
I think we all tell little lies to the pediatrician. I know, I always did. My kids were 4 months old before starting solid food. (Well, thats my story and I'm sticking to it)
from babymania :
I don't think it's wrong to tell little lies. That is funny about the Saint Bernard. Have a great day.!
from starlight42 :
That's funny about lying to the Ped. I tell you, reading your diary is really gearing me up for when I have a baby! Esp. all this breast feeding stuff.
from thaichic :
I've noticed Aidan needing more skin to skin time as well. He constantly wants to be close to mom and dad. I love it. I can't imagine it any other way. Hard to believe some mom and dads get tired of holding their baby.
from silverscorp :
Hey sweetie, I'm moving to another diary. If you want the url let me know.
from kestra :
I haven't been receiving notices about guestbook entries in a long time! I've just had to resort to checking it every now and then. I was just thinking after reading your guestbook entry, I went ahead and signed your guestbook anyway. But I left you a note so you would know I was here. I'm starting to feel like I'm harassing you. LOL! Hey, I was thinking if you wanted, maybe we could stop by for a visit next weekend, like maybe Sunday the 10th? Let me know if you would be interested in doing that. :-)
from silverscorp :
Yeah I bled at 6 weeks too. But it only lasted a couple of days which was weird. I thought the same thing because I too was only breastfeeding.
from cmkern3 :
Um, yeah, $247 a week??? Holy crap batman.
from dogbones :
Hello, I am leaving this note to tell you about a new web forum out called dogbones. It lists journals, blogs, designers, reviewers, and other types of journals to make it more convenient for everyone to find. If you want to find out more information then just visit the site. If you would like to join then go to dogbones and click on apply and follow the directions. It would be very appreciated if you would spread the world also. Thank you for your time.
from kestra :
That daycare center sounds great! These places can charge an arm and a leg though. I like the idea of being close, so you can nurse on lunch break even... that takes the pressure off of pumping at work... Has Falcon learned to take a bottle yet? That was a stumbling block with Bowen and I, because he couldn't/wouldn't take a bottle, and I thought, how am I going to leave him to go to work then?
from silverscorp :
So adorable. Him and Aidan have the same haircut! lol Hope you're doing well chic. Miss your updates.
from laurie2002 :
That is a gorgeous little boy. You are blessed.
from silverscorp :
When Aidan first cried at the boob, I was told it was because he had an ear infection and his jaw hurt. SO I took him to the doc. No infection. He cries while breastfeeding sometimes and I figure maybe it's gas and his tummy hurts or possibly my milk isn't coming out fast enough for him. I don't know. I iwsh I did. Normally he's real fussy when on the bottle and so calm when on me. Which makes me feel great, because we mothers have the magic juice. But sometimes he'll go bonkers on the boob too. If you find out anything, let me know ok. Glad things are going great with Falcon!
from starlight42 :
I'm glad someone can relate to my entry...I didn't want to come off sounding like a snob, but come on!! I'm on the lower end of Mgmt. level- they're just workers, you know! Have a nice weekend!
from silverscorp :
Walking up and down the stairs would actually be great exercise. And the plus side is Falcon probably loves being in the sling and you walking around, so there you go. Just be careful since you may lose your balance from being tired and worn-out. I know how you feel about getting anything done. Instead of sleeping while Aidan slept, I cleaned. It sucked when I'd finish just when he was waking up, but it felt good to have a clean and organized home. Tim wasn't too helpful at first, but lately he's been incredible with picking up and doing chores. Maybe Greg will snap into it soon.
from starlight42 :
Wow- just thinking about your nipples makes mine hurt!! That's one thing that scares me a bit about breast feeding, I'm not great with pain. But, I suppose all the positives are worth it. Glad things are well :)
from preg-nancy :
I suffered from cracked nipples in the beginning as well. Here's what my lactation consultant advised and what totally helped them heal: After feeding, rinse nipples with a saline solution and allow them to air dry. Then, coat nipples with polysporin. You might want to use a shield on that one nipple until it heals. Before breastfeeding with that nipple, express a little milk to rinse off the polysporin. I followed this routine and my nipples healed really quickly.
from preg-nancy :
I'm seriously counting down until the 3 month mark. 2 weeks to go until the 6 week mark when fussiness is at an all time high! How are things with you? I always want to leave you notes but never have time. I can barely keep up with everyone's entries, much less my own diary. Things are getting better though as I can actually put the baby down now for a nap. For the first few weeks she would only sleep if we held her. What a baby! Ha!
from cmkern3 :
I would never want to be the one to burst your bubble or anything but....this great newborn "sleeps all the time" stage is temporary... after the first few weeks/month or so is when you'll be up every hour or two. Not that you won't love every moment of it my dear.
from babytales :
Congratulations on your beautiful baby son!!! He's absolutely adorable xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
from indy1212 :
I just read your birth story and I totally know how you feel when it comes to the c-section. Worry over having tohave an emergency c-section is the same reason I agreed to mine. I hope you're taking it easy and recovering well!!
from silverscorp :
Congratulations Misty! The pictures are gorgeous and I think him and Aidan look so much alike. Your birth story was amazing and had me tearing up. Can you believe your pride and joy is over a week old already? I'm in awe that Aidan is four weeks. I'm so happy for you, Nancy, us. This is the best isn't it? Even when we feel at our worst, they make it all better.
from preg-nancy :
Congratulations! I am so proud of you; I have no clue how you handled such a long labor! You are truly a strong woman. I know it can be tough trying to reconcile the birth you wanted with the birth that you actually had, but I think you're handling everything wonderfully. At the end of the day, you have a healthy and beautiful baby boy.
from laurie2002 :
Awesome writing! I'm amazed about him latching on immediately because it took us forever. I almost gave up, but it all finally clicked. Congratulations!
from pashiesplace :
I know it was nowhere near to the delivery that you wanted but you know, you did it! You carried, nurtured & grew a healthy baby, delivered a huge & healthy son! Truly in some ways I think if extra gold stars were given out, c-sections are ultimately harder. as you've said, it's SURGERY. 6 weeks of recovery versus a week or so of ice & a donut pillow. So many women forget that until the first time they try to stand up, myself included. The shivering is pregnancy hormones leaving your body. I shook horribly after having Maya, right down to teeth chattering. Hugs & take good care of you (I know you will of Falcon)
from enchancea :
Congrats! He sounds beautiful!
from pashiesplace :
Congrats :) He's beautiful! Hope you're recovering well! I've had 3 sections & the best thing I can tell you is to be gentle with yourself. Hugs!
from youscareme :
Congrats!! You should still have my email address, but here it is again: [email protected]. I think you beat TranceJen in length of labor (she went through 72 hours). Can't wait to see pictures. :)
from cutielatina :
Congratulations! WOW! 87 hours!!!!! Youch! I hope you are recovering well, and could I please have the link? E-mail [email protected]. Thanks, and congratulations:)!Cuidanse...
from starlight42 :
Congrats! (Sorry to hear about the 87 hours...) I would love a link to the pics, if you would want to share- my email is [email protected] Hope you're all well!
from cmkern3 :
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!! Hurry up with the pics!!
from jensanimals :
Congrats. I figured you ended up having a C-section when it took so long for you to get back... Sorry, things did not go as planned, but glad to hear everything is ok. What a big, little boy. Look forward to seeing pictures of him.
from bitterwineuk :
congratulations on your lovely little boy. You must be so Proud. I remember I was when my son was born. Congratulations. Becca
from indy1212 :
Something tells me you've had the baby or are having him now :D yay! Can't wait to see the update!!
from jensanimals :
Hmm.. could you be having your baby, finally? No update in almost 48 hours. Looks promising. I am checking in every few hours, just waiting. Hope all is well.
from indy1212 :
YAY! Come on baby, it's TIME!
from babytales :
Keeping my fingers crossed and thinking of you xxxxxxxxx
from jensanimals :
Sure sounds like the real deal this time. I would hope that after 12 hours they would not stop. I don't blame you for wanting to stay home as long as possible. It is more comfortable that way. Sending quick delivery vibes!
from pashiesplace :
Ohhh fingers are crossed!
from indy1212 :
oh I'm so sorry you've had a rough couple days :( Modern medicine really stinks in this area, IMO. (((hugs))) ~*~Come on OUT baby!~*~
from pashiesplace :
Hang in there. Misery always strikes right before you have the baby. I know that doesn't make you feel any better right now. If your NST is dicey (lots of contrax etc.) they may decide to keep you or just induce you. It'll be soon, I promise :)
from pashiesplace :
If your butt hurts its definetly back labor! Good luck!
from cutielatina :
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:) And cuidate...
from silverscorp :
Oh I hope today is the day for you! I'll be burning a candle for you.
from jensanimals :
WooHoo..That is great. GOod Luck. Keep us posted if you are able.
from cmkern3 :
Ooooooo so excited!!!!! KEEP US INFORMED!!!
from preg-nancy :
I'll be thinking of you all day! I think it definitely sounds like amniotic fluid. That's how it began with me - a slow leak. And the backache sounds very promising. Good luck - I will send you positive labor vibes.
from enchancea :
You poor woman, I feel so bad for you. You tell that baby to stop being stubborn and to come on out
from babytales :
Oh hun, it's so frustrating and uncomfortable to go overdue! I was due to be induced the day my little one decided to come out - I'm convinced it was because I was so terrified about the procedure that it started me off! lol. Fingers crossed you don't have to wait much longer xxxxxxxxxxx
from jensanimals :
Maybe he is just trying to wait until after SuperBowl. ?? Yes that definitely would be awesome if you got to 8 before "real labor" started.
from preg-nancy :
This is the worst part! I remember feeling so impatient and anxious, and I really got sick of hearing "the baby will come when it's ready." Are you taking anything besides EPO? Ask about Christopher's pregnancy formula - they had me taking that towards the end as well.
from indy1212 :
aww take it easy, you're body will do what it needs to do when it's time ;) ((hugs))
from indy1212 :
I agree, you are nesting!! Not much longer now! :)
from enchancea :
Wow how can you have so much energy when you are so close to giving birth? I did the same thing today. Ive been cleaning for 4 hours now and Im just taking a break before I continue
from cmkern3 :
You're NESTING!!! It'll be any day now!!
from pashiesplace :
You're very close. With each of my girls I got sick RIGHT before I finally had them. I think its true, your body cleans itself out to prepare for labor. Luck & Hugs!
from babytales :
Oh wow! it sounds like you're really close! My plug wasn't bloody either, just mucus n stuff, quite icky. It took about 12 hours after that until I went into labour though. How exciting!! xxx
from babytales :
How exciting!!!! I can't wait to hear your news!! xxxxxxxxx
from enchancea :
Good luck with everything!
from jensanimals :
Woo-Hoo...That is great. Bout time something got started. lol.
from luxlust :
Hi i am new. Your picture is beautiful!!! I love the fairy momma and baby! I had my daughter in a hospital which i researched before hand and found to be really pleasant. I hate the idea of babies being born into florescent lights and chaos, but they offered water births and a fabulous room, like a nice hotel room. It was all covered by Medicaid. I guess i got lucky finding that in a regular hospital. Good luck, i hope all goes well!
from starlight42 :
can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!! So excited for you!!
from jensanimals :
I love the layout. Sending labor vibes your way. I know you are getting uncomfortable, impatient and irritated that it hasn't happened yet. Hopefully this will be the week!!
from indy1212 :
aww, I hope you have your baby soon - I know that the last few weeks are really the hardest. ((hugs))
from preg-nancy :
Ina May's Guide to Childbirth rocks. If you want another good natural childbirth read, check out "The Baby Catcher." I really enjoyed reading that book. I'm hoping we both go into labor soon. I am so uncomfortable . . . ask your midwife about taking black/blue cohash, and I know that you're already taking Evening Primrose Oil. My midwife said to use the Evening Primrose Oil as a lubricant during sex so that way you're hitting the cervix with both semen and EPO. Also - as I'm sure you know - do lots of walking and squatting. None of this seems to be helping me though.
from jensanimals :
No need to worry about the non stress test. All you do is go in and get hooked up to the fetal monitor and a contraction belt and hit a little button each time you feel the baby move. Usually it lasts about 30 minutes,if the baby moves good, But worst case an hour. They are just checking to make sure there is no stress on the baby. Good Luck, I sure hope you go on your own soon.
from starlight42 :
Only 6 days to go!! Can't wait to see baby pics! Hope everything goes smoothly for you :)
from x--drifting :
Hello. Thanks for the welcome note. =D
from preg-nancy :
68 is our compromise temperature as well. Before I was pregnant, I would've frozen to death at 72! I can't believe that I find 68 degrees to be quite sweltering now. Man - I am so on edge, waiting for the baby. So far all of my intuitive feelings about pregnancy have been wrong; I kept thinking I'd have the baby early and this doesn't seem to be the case. Keep me updated. I check every day on your progress.
from pashiesplace :
Ahh, your energy is all about nesting. The need to do stupid stuff NOW. The belief that you have the energy to actually do every single thing imaginable. All of my kids had a burst of activity right before labor. It felt like they were repositioning themselves for their big entrance. Hugs. Betcha you're holding Falcom within a week.
from preg-nancy :
I'm very boring too. Thank god I'm somewhat busy with work stuff, or I'd seriously be driving myself nuts. I've been feeling very weird lately - especially in the evenings. I keep thinking, "Is this it?" and am disappointed when it's not. I'm sure when it happens it will feel like a bowling ball hitting me in the stomach. Are you all packed for the birthing center? What non-traditional items are you bringing? I'm bringing lots of candles, an aromatherapy diffuser with lavender oil, and maybe this moroccan lamp that casts a cool red hue over the rooom.
from moonshadow02 :
Just a comment on what Lauren said about the contractions.......not death-like pains. They hurt but I have 5 kids and zoned-out on meds with my first one only. The last 2 were pretty much all back pain.....that's the bad one. Thinking of you. moonshadow
from jensanimals :
That is great that everything is going so well. Hope he spins around for you. That back labor is killer when they are the wrong way. I went through it 4 times. Hopefully you won't go to far past your due date.
from not-long-now :
thank you for your kind note!! :-) made me grin and WOW on the pregnancy!! I hope you enjoy being a mother!! *hugs* very best of luck! xxx
from pashiesplace :
Oh, you are so close now! My last few weeks always felt longer than the months leading up to them. I know you've read everything imaginable but here's something I've never seen anywhere. People talk about back labor all the time but no one really described it well to me. I had it with all 3 kids (If Falcon is facing your spine you're more likely to experience it) and while it briefly starts in your lower back it quickly turns into ass pain. Seriously. One of those weird aches a lot of women won't mention because they usually don't know that they should. It doesn't feel like contractions at all and isn't timeable, it just amounts to seriously bad pain in your butt. Watch for that any time now.
from jensanimals :
Wow, that was some dream. Did you have to get up and check on the dogs after that one? For some reason I could not get to your page on the website.:( But you probably don't want me to guess anyways.. I was between 7 and 14 days Overdue with all 4 of my kids so I tend to guess later.I may just jinx you.lol. Sounds like you are definitely getting close.Don't you just hate the last month misery stage? Just a little longer *keep telling yourself that*
from indy1212 :
ohh I love expectnet! If you look up lilbit, you'll see my Xanders ;) I'll do yours now! I already have one for Boo, simply because I didn't want someone else to take the name lol
from preg-nancy :
Ugh - I am so ready to be done. It's so unfair that our bodies are not allowing us to sleep when we're about to give up regular sleep for good (well at least for the next year). When's your next appointment?
from indy1212 :
Yes, definitely dropped. Fun! I hope you're feeling better soon, being sick while pregnant is no fun, especially that far along. I had bronchitis when I was 8 months along with my first .. that was horrible.
from jenne1017 :
Congrats on the pregnancy!!! And I would have been like, "Kroger???" LOL
from pashiesplace :
Sounds like you've definetly dropped! I forgot about how it used to take several attempts for me to actually LEAVE the bathroom after dropping!
from bettyalready :
I can't sign your GB so fast. Grr. But it's cool that you've dropped. Maybe you'll have him on time or just a tiny bit early. A few days early sure wouldn't hurt!
from candoor :
merry happy new year :)
from jensanimals :
Glad you were able to find something for the carpal tunnel. That is great that Falcon is all in position. I can't believe you are so close to already. (I know it seems like forever to you) And definitely do the perineal massage. No cuts or tears is much better than an episiotomy. I had to be cut with my first 3 because of a lazy Dr. Then with number 4, the Dr. massaged as the baby was coming out and I did not need cut and I did not tear( and she was 9lb 13oz)
from indy1212 :
aww YAY you're getting close!! I feel like it's going to take forever for me to get to that point, but at the same time I'm thinking, hey I don't mind waiting LOL.
from indy1212 :
I don't think I've ever seen hair on the u/s --- though my boys have come out pretty bald so maybe that's why? LOL I love you more and more every day, too! I'm so glad to hear/read that you'll be leaving your baby boy intact. So many people just don't get how barbaric circumcision is and I just don't know how to clue them in.
from pashiesplace :
I loved seeing hair on u/s's! It's amazing how you can see the texture. Glad everything is going smoothly! BTW, he is probably bigger than they say. They were always way off with my girls. They averaged at least a pound bigger than anticipated! Tech's tend to lowball weight to err on the side of safety. Hugs.
from silverscorp :
Hey you girl, you look fabulous. I don't think Aidan is going to make it to his due date either. Looks like the turkey is almost done over here!
from indy1212 :
My kids made out for Christmas as well. I have no clue where we're going to put all the shit. Hopefully our place in Colorado will have more room! Love the pics!
from pashiesplace :
I'd love a g-mail nvite if you have any left!
from pashiesplace :
I'd love a g-mail nvite if you have any left!
from kestra :
Gee, I don't know whether to say yes or no, because I'm not exactly certain what g-mail is... other than that it sounds like another e-mail provider. (Right now I have been using yahoo for many years, but the spammers have finally caught up with me and are pounding the crap out of me. Woe is me!) OH YEAH. To answer your question, we didn't end up doing anything with the group for this holiday. We don't necessarily get around to doing something for every holiday either. Maybe one of these days when I'm older and wiser, and uhh, belong to a more coherent group too. lol
from preg-nancy :
It's weird because I'm still not convinced that I'm having a baby. Somedays it really hits home and I realize, wow - there's about to be three of us and I'll have this tiny creature to take care of and love. But then on other days, things feel so normal - I just feel really big. It's truly difficult to wrap your mind around things. I'm also feeling so unprepared. I really need to wash all the baby things, get a car seat, start doing the perineam massage, and practicing meditation for labor. And yet - I can't seem to get motivated!
from pashiesplace :
I think you're making perfect sense.
from starlight42 :
Awww, you're getting so close! I loved the pic. Happy Holidays!
from indy1212 :
aww yay for baby gifts! Those are always so much fun! I have a pregnancy journal that I wouldn't mind sharing, but I use my real name on it, so if you would like to read it - you can email me at [email protected] :)
from jensanimals :
Ha, Must be a guy thing. My husband likes "thick" (as he calls it)and big boobs. We have talked about adding women for a while.Just haven't met anyone yet. But, I am sure it will happen when neither of us expects it. LOL, No I would definitely think that would not be on the top of your "things to do while pregnant" list.
from indy1212 :
Thanks! :) I love the picture, you look so cute! I can't wait to have a big baby belly like that again!
from preg-nancy :
I know - I have very mixed feelings. In some ways, I'm excited because I know that relatively soon I'll meet my baby. But at the same time, I don't want it to be too soon, especially because I'm hoping to go to the birthing center and if it's before 36 weeks, they won't take me. Hopefully she'll stay in a little longer. :)
from enchancea :
Hope you feel better soon!
from pashiesplace :
Don't be embarassed, pregnancy really messes with your sexuality and most men seem about the same. By the 3rd tri they worry about hurting the baby. It sucks & thankfully, it is temporary. Sex with a newborn...it's like anything else I think. If it matters you find a way. We went for months with me getting a baby back to sleep at 4am & then waking John up to play. You'll figure it all out.
from jensanimals :
Yuk. I know all about cleaning up after dogs. I had to clean up shit at 1 this morning.. NOT FUN!! Anyways, How nice of her to get you a gift especially one from your list.
from preg-nancy :
My nipples and breasts have totally changed. At first it was cute, but it's not so cute now! I have D's before, they're up to DD's now, and I'm sure they'll go up another size immediately following birth. What's the next size? DDD? E? F? Anyhow, they're not so perky anymore and I'm worried about how far south they'll head once all is said and done. It's times like these that I wish I had small breasts.
from cmkern3 :
Ahhhh - no you di'int say "nother"!!!!
from indy1212 :
I hope you feel better :( I've had a cold for the past few days, so not fun! I know it's even worse when you are pregnant!
from jensanimals :
Get well soon. I hate when people go to work sick and think that it won't affect anyone else. Ughh. Happy Thanksgiving.
from bettyalready :
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
from pashiesplace :
Being sick on top of being pregnant really sucks.Hope resting today does the trick.
from pashiesplace :
Oh honey, welcome to REAL pregnancy. Not the nice, sweet, flowery stuff that you always hear & read about- but real pregnancy. At some points it is just plain difficult at best. 40 weeks is a very long to wait for anything precious & after awhile the journey there starts to feel very long. About swelling, keep an eye on it & make sure you mention it at your next appt. Preeclampsia & Adema in general tend to set in close to 30 weeks if they will be a problem at all. I had both with my last 2 babies & its not fun to walk a block and have legs looking like they've doubled in size. Hugs.
from enchancea :
My bf has trouble putting his clothes in the dirty clothes too and it gets to me. Its not like its hard, ya know?
from indy1212 :
I'm glad things are good for you :) Being pregnant IS wonderful. I need to organize my house. Completly. Top to bottom. Gross. I always swear I will do better at our next house.
from bademotions :
I find it very bizarre that we share the same get to sleep technique. But it's also very cool :D My hubbie won't do it for me too often, but when he does I sleep like a baby!
from bademotions :
I love your new layout...very fertile goddess-like. As for your dog...I don't know what to tell you. I've had the same problem with my two boys; when they're tense or they know something's not quite right they make messes. Short of scolding and putting your dog outside afterwards I have no good advice. Good luck with it though, dog poop is the nastiest stuff outside of baby diarrhea.
from bettyalready :
that is an awesome layout!!!! very cool indeed.
from preg-nancy :
Hiccupping is too cute! I love it! :)
from silverscorp :
The deal with the vomiting was my appointment was late in the afternoon and it didn't sit well I suppose in my stomach, also every woman is different in her pregnancy, so props to you for feeling fine.
from preg-nancy :
I just got my maya wrap in the mail as well! I am so excited to try it out but unfortunately, I haven't had time to practice yet. I got the neutral color (forget what number). I had wanted to get black but thought it might get a little hot during the southern summers.
from bettyalready :
Ok, so I just need to read the full blog because I keep posting and I may seem like a stalker, but I'm really not. You and I are so close in due date! Just remember, there is no wrong way to have a baby. I haven't read that far to see if you have a plan or posted it. It's good to have a plan, but if you don't end up sticking with it totally for whatever reason, do not even sweat it. I have had natural birth, C section, V-back (natural birth after C section) and am having another C section with this boy. I've had no drugs to an epidural for the v-bac. It all works out one way or the other. With the epidural I even had stadol (a very strong drug) and Danielle was totally alert and fine. It's a great experience! That's probably why I'm on my fourth. haha.
from bettyalready :
So you work for a health insurance co., but not exactly, so is it like a subsidiary of the health insurance company, or branch? Or they used to be part of the company and branched off mostly to do their own thing? I come from a health insurance background and worked in the operations dept. as a customer service rep, then a rep in the pre-authorization dept.
from indy1212 :
I used to change my layout a lot, too lol. Not so much since I started this one though. Soon though, I think. I'm feeling a new one is needed.
from pashiesplace :
It seems my layouts have a 2 week lifespan, LOL.
from indy1212 :
Oh I was so upset, too :( I live in Oklahoma, so I hear you on the hicks lol. I am quite liberal, becoming a mother has only increased my liberalness LOL
from pashiesplace :
Can you tell Falcon's position yet? Fuller belly on one side is often a back pressed against you. Pretty soon (maybe now) is you can tell where his back is if Greg puts his ear there he'll actually hear his heartbeat seperate from yours. You might be able to feel it with your hand soon too. So cool to feel your heart then your babies & realize they are not one & the same.
from preg-nancy :
I've been peeing almost every hour! It totally sucks, and we're going through so much TP. I just want my prepregnancy bladder back.
from preg-nancy :
I know how you feel - I have been unable to sleep for more than four hours at a time for the past week or so. Every night I wake up at 3 a.m. and I can't get comfortable again. To top everything off, I'm totally congested and am forced to breathe through my mouth. This, in turn, forces me to guzzle water throughout the night, which then leads to many trips to the bathroom. How am I going to do this for 3 more months? Ah!
from preg-nancy :
The first 2/3 of pregnancy were relatively easy for me. Guess it's time for me to pay my dues! :) What would I have to talk about though without a little pregnancy drama? On another note - did you see the lunar eclipse last night? It had been raining here and then cleared up just in time! It was super pretty.
from pashiesplace :
It's funny. Everyone is calling this the :lesser of 2 evils" election. Neither choice is very comforting.
from zombee :
Hi there :) It's awkward with these preggo bellies isn't it, lol? And I feel the same way you do about the Bush and Kerry thing... I don't know really... I am so confused, but Kerry does seem like the lesser of the two evils. We'll see I suppose!
from pashiesplace :
My very first Maya memory. The doc had just pulled her out (c-section) & she was screaming like a banshee. They handed her to John & he said 2 words to her & she immediately stopped crying and nestled in. They definetly know voices once born!
from cmkern3 :
Oh my goodness!! If you move to Indianapolis, do you KNOW how much closer you'll be to me??? :)
from silverscorp :
Hey woman, are you registered anywhere?
from zombee :
About the hiccups, I just worry that she'll get all stressed out in there because of 'em really! When I was around 32+ weeks I started feeling them I think. you'll know, it's like a repetitive kick, only you can tell it's not a kick. And, yes I have some friends coming to my labor, and *Bug* still says he is going to go, but who knows? I hope he doesn't flake out, I dunno though... We'll see.
from kitchenwitch :
I really don't like my ob-gyn. She doesn't take the time or effort to explain anything to me. For example, when I had oligohydramnios in my 32nd week, she didn't tell me how serious it was... She just said to take it easy! Then when I went to the prenatal specialist, they explained to me that "take it easy" actually meant complete bedrest! Same with the pill. She put me on a low dose pill, and said that it might effect my milk, so to make sure and exclusivly nurse. She never mentioned I'd bleed almost constantly for three months straight! Grrrrr.....
from zombee :
Aww! Thank you! yeah, my baby girl is due any day. As a matter of fact, I am dialated at three so my midwife thinks she'll be early, yay! You'll be surprised how quickly it goes!
from flower21 :
I don't like the new mermaid picture! I liked the old one with the baby boy merman! I was going to add you as a favorite diary, but I don't like the layout anymore! I'm not being rude- I just really liked the older one & wanted it as a favorite!
from indy1212 :
Oh, wow, what a beautiful house! I wish we were in IN and buying a house lol. You can't find anything like that out here. You can find houses for that price, just not like that lol.
from indy1212 :
I think that pagans are more open to 'alternative' birthing methods because they are more open minded in the first place. That is wonderful. Tricare just made it so that you CAN pick a midwife and they will pay SOME of it if you switch to Standard - which means if something happens then you have to pay for some of the costs. ohh a Doula, lucky! I told my husband if we ever have anymore children and we can't afford a midwife then at the very least we can afford a doula lol. I have two Motherwear shirts that have lasted me almost *two* years. They are getting holes now  but it's ok b/c we're weaning soon anyway. Even if Xander doesn't want to admit it lol
from preg-nancy :
When do you have to take your GB test? It's weird, I don't usually like candy this much. And it sucks that my GB test is right before Halloween. Ugh.
from starlight42 :
I hate cell phone companies...OMG- I am making the same thing for dinner today that you had yesterday. Only I'm doing mashed potato's. MMM scalloped do sound good though...
from enchancea :
Love the new look!
from indy1212 :
I love your new layout! Don't worry too much about the sex drive, seriously, when I was pregnant, I had NONE. Period. My husband knows if we get pregnant not to expect sex for pretty much the whole pregnancy. lol ;)
from indy1212 :
I loved my Motherhood nursing shirts, they were especially wonderful when Xander was a newborn and I was learning. I think they were the only two shirts I wore out of the house for the first year LOL Ebay is a treasure, really. If Star's clothing is named brand, it will do really great. I sold the boys winter clothes last month and did really well :) GL.
from moonshadow02 :
Oh, I remember those pregnant days. The belly taking up all the space in the room, the pimples from hell when my face hadn't broken out in years.......such fun. It's a good thing that we all still want babies cuz with all of that crap going on no one would want to get pregnant ever again. I had 5 and with my youngest I spent 8 1/2 months eating almost nothing but cheese cuz that was all that didn't give me heartburn so bad I wanted to die. Hang in there.
from indy1212 :
Yay for you for going for a birth center w/ midwife! I hope to have that with my next, but that will depend on where we are, etc. And if Tricare changes what they will pay for. We are passing (obviously lol) on the bible stories as well. The book, Circle Round, has some really good pagan stories in it.
from zombee :
I just have to say, your entries always make me laugh. Your thoughts on haveing an outie "ewww! Disgusting!" made me smile. I lucked out, my belly button shows more than before, and *kinda* pops out, but it's not really that bad. Anyways, good luck w. the rest of your pregnancy. ~Lauren
from karmicenigma :
Rock hard vegan brownies....yummm! For the life of me I can't imagine what these people are thinking. While they have my utmost respect, bless their hearts for missing out on food's finest. Thanks for the note, it was too funny....
from starlight42 :
kids clothes are so cute!!
from cmkern3 :
I actually lost weight for the first 5 months of my pregnancy, believe it or not! I wasn't able to eat a lot of foods, and especially wasn't able to eat a lot of high-fat foods because of the nausea factor. But - once month 6 hit??? LOOK OUT!!
from indy1212 :
D'oh, I meant to add, Congratulations on your pregnancy - boys are great!! I have two of them myself :)
from indy1212 :
Hi, I found you through the moms in 20s diary ring. I just wanted to say that I absolutely love your layout. I took a look around and saw that we have some stuff in common. I'm also Pagan (Wiccan to be exact), and am from Indiana (though I am currently living in Oklahoma (my husband is military). My mom lived in Richmond and I believe my Aunt may be living there now. I lived in Mount Summit/Spiceland when we lived there (we moved to GA when I was 12). Anyway, I have rambled enough (I seem to be in a rambling mood tonight.)
from donkeylady :
Just a note ... I enjoyed your spirituality survey. Opal
from pashiesplace :
Great shopping day! Old Navy has fantastic baby sales all the time. Always look at the Clearance stuff.
from zombee :
I know, I am very pregnant arent I? When I saw those pictures for the first time I was like "Damn, I didn't know I was that big!" But don't you worry, let me tell you, sooner than you know it you'll be very pregnant looking too!
from zombee :
Hi there. Yeah, my doctor had me all worried about a brain ventricle that was measuring abnormal. I searched about it online and all I could find were pretty grim outcomes. Severe learning disabilities, downs syndrom, and autsism, I didn't think I could handle those types of "special needs." But yay, I had my perinatologist visit, and eveything is looking good, so I am relieved. :) Thanks, ~Lauren
from silverscorp :
Hey girl, thanks for the note. Congrats on having a boy! Isn't this exciting? I've added you as well to my buddy list. Take care- Jenni
from preg-nancy :
I tried to find a hypnobirthing class yesterday and it was $250, $100 more than the Bradley Class! So - I don't think we'll be taking it. Nonetheless, I plan on getting some books and reading up on it a bit, perhaps even attempting to write my own meditations that my husband can use. Let me know how your Bradley studies go. Nancy
from preg-nancy :
I actually started the "Due in February" ring when I thought my due date was Fabruary 1st. My midwives, however, say that I'm due on January 25th. I guess they decide the due date based on the beginning of the 40th week; I had calculated my date based on the last day of the 40th week, so we'll see. I can see myself going either way as well. Have you looked into hypnobirthing at all? I've heard very mixed things about it but thought I'd give it a try as well. Never hurts to have multiple tools in your arsenal. :)
from starlight42 :
Yay- it's a boy!! So glad to see you're back online, I was ready to give up on you. Thanks for the counter site, I'm going to check it out. I love all your cute baby counters on your buttons page. Oh, and so glad your boss was understanding about your slip up the other day. Hey, we all make silly mistakes like that.
from preg-nancy :
When are you due? I am so excited about the Bradley Method. I don't even understand how people can use Lamaze - it honestly makes no sense to me! I've been told that Lamaze is good for people who are planning on having medicated, hospital births but even then, I think Bradley would be more applicable. Good luck finding a class. Have you read the Bradley Method book? There's lots of good information in there as well.
from jensanimals :
I love the new layout.. (if it is not new.. Sorry I did not see it sooner, was away and then just busy) I had the horniness, too with my first pregnancy.. It is great. Oh, and Congrats on the baby!
from zombee :
OMG! "What are you two working on today?" That's just comical. lmao. :)
from joegreg :
so i was touching myself so ithought of you
from pashiesplace :
I had pretty much the same reaction to GF's Guide & also read a lot of it outloud to John. My best nugget of wisdom: The things that you fear most right now will likely be a piece of cake. It's all of the surprise curve balls that will be a bigger deal.GF's guide has 2 other books, one on the first year of motherhood & the other is on toddlers. Both are awesome & pretty accurate. If I can ever help let me know. 3 kids has equalled nearly every preg scare/newborn scare imaginable.
from pashiesplace :
I'm so excited for you! Boys have been elusive in my family(Dh is the last boy on either side of our families & he's 34) so I'm slightly jealous! Seriously though, I'm thrilled for you. You have read the Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy by now, right? That was the most realistic pregnancy book I could ever find!
from cmkern3 :
Hehehe...I know what his *real* name is...I know what his *real* name is! ;) Oh, also? What is this gmail thing I keep hearing about???
from starlight42 :
I'm so excited for you, still! The news of your pregnancy still seems so new. Enjoy it :) Also, very cute new design!
from cmkern3 :
Hey girlfriend! Email me the registry! Oh - and - I read The Time Traveler's Wife - its very good.
from cutielatina :
Shesh, where have you been? I have been worried!!! LOL Wow, those are random entries, but I am happy that you are happily married and now pregnant. Wish I was pregnant, but I guess there is a reason for everything. Cuidate...
from starlight42 :
Congrats!!! How exciting! Glad that everything is going well :)
from youscareme :
I looked at your diary on a fluke today (I cleaned out my friends list because I'm hardly ever on here anymore), and saw your entry. Congratulations!!! Orlok and I have been talking about getting pregnant, but I think we're waiting until next year. If you want to stay in touch, drop me an email: [email protected]
from cmkern3 :
OH MY GOD CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! I am sooo glad to hear things are going so well!!!!
from cmkern3 :
Um, yeah, so WHERE ARE YOU??? Did you get lost in Jamaica? Did you relocate there and are now living in a hut with dreadlocks in your hair singing about shooting sheriffs & stuff? (Yah mahn...)
from watty :
Happy birthday and Easter! Congrats on getting married, too. Hope you have a great day celebrating. All the best to you. =)
from treewillow :
Happy Birthday, I hope you have a wonderful day. Congrats on your marriage. And Happy Easter.
from starke- :
Hi, I was wondering how you found out that you're INFJ. The only test thingy I could find on the 'net only told me that I'm NF (Idealist) and said I had to pay to find out which kind. And, dammit, I want to know which kind! Except I don't want to pay. :) Oh, I'm in your April ring. When is your b-day?
from tarotreading :
Please visit my site if you or a friend would like a Tarot Reading! Thanks.
from starlight42 :
Congrats!! Sounds like you are having a blast. How awesome. Enjoy the sun for me.
from enchancea :
Im sooooo jealous. But congrats on everything.
from jensanimals :
Congrats!! Hope you had a great honeymoon.
from youscareme :
About damn time you updated. Congrats on your marriage. Mine is on Thursday morning. Yay! (I'm so nervous!)
from pashiesplace :
Congrats Congrats! So glad that you're happy. Enjoy your last day away.
from cmkern3 :
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Happy Jamaica-ing!! And - congratulations!!
from starlight42 :
where ya been? And hey, I just noticed you have my diary linked on your buttons page- thanks! I've got you linked now too :)
from cmkern3 :
Where the HELL ARE YOU????? ;) Hope everything's okay!
from tru-optimist :
I have just recently joined your diaryring and wanted to say how great it is that you are so passionate about being happy. The glass is always half full! ~*tru-optimist*~
from lostmystic76 :
fuck right!!! Leave the poor croc hunter alone...damn media morons! lol
from starlight42 :
ok, maybe I missed something, but does Greg's ex wife have the same name as you? how weird!
from aka-li :
hi, i wanted to join your baltimore diary ring and i have a link on my page for rings but im not sure how to show i'm a member of the ring. Any suggestions?
from jensanimals :
The new layout is great! Love the colors.
from starke- :
Thank you for joining my ring!! And I just happen to have an April birthday (and am happy about it), so I'll join yours, too. ♥ Starke
from enchancea :
I came across your diary from someones guestbook and I have to say I love your layout
from cmkern3 :
Oooooooo when I saw your new template I thought "She does this on purpose I swear to God!" LMAO!!
from youscareme :
The tire blew on my car on Thankgiving while I was driving down the highway. We're getting it fixed tomorrow. I also was going to sign something to your guestbook ages ago, but it was being flaky. I think it was something about all of the similarities between you and me. I forget all of it now, though. Yay for getting married soon, though. We hit the 2-month mark on the 26th, and I can hardly wait. :)
from valkang :
Hi. Thanks for the welcome note. I'm glad you enjoyed that smoking entry. :)
from valkang :
Hi. Thanks for the welcome note. I'm glad you enjoyed that smoking entry. :)
from cmkern3 :
ONLY 4 MORE DAYS UNTIL WE MEET!!!!!!!!!
from chicknamedal :
Since you like Cross Sums (wow!) you should check out this site: http://leopard.kitfox.com/puzzlecorner/ He's in the process of a move and Puzzle Corner is down for a week or so (I'm having withdrawals!) but check him out when he gets the site up again. This guy does a daily Cross Sum puzzle and has his dailies going back for at least 6 months. Just thought I'd share.
from starlight42 :
I didn't know they limited you to 12 rings either...what a jip! (is that how you spell it?) anyway, I love how you have the rings page with instructions. I hate people who join who don't put up the code or have a locked diary!!
from zeldarose :
in answer to your question... no, your banner is not too naked. it's beautiful. there's a difference between porno and art. the difference is that art is beatiful, not slutty. I'm a newbie right now, but eventually I won't be... I like your diary! ~Rose~
from cmkern3 :
Regarding Dec. 16th - work shmurk! Tell your boss I said that. They can't make you work late BOTH NIGHTS - the only 2 days you're here!!! Also - is "The History of The Wife" good????
from cmkern3 :
I don't think your banner is all that bad - but it does look like the mermaid has a long pointy penis sticking up.....or is it just me???
from cmkern3 :
Ok, first of all - you forgot something - 4. List five things you'd do if you won the lottery (no limit). -Buy a house!!!!!!!! -Pay off my car, buy Greg a truck, and get a minivan for when we have kids. -Get pregnant immediately. -Pay off the mortgage for my parents' houses & sisters' houses. -Adopt lots of pound puppies & kitties. -Give cmkern3 a milllllion dollars. Second, don't make any plans for Tuesday, Dec 16th, as we are going to hit up a bar somewhere! CAN'T WAIT!!!!
from starlight42 :
I don't think the banner is too bad. It really leaves more to the imagination I think.
from cavekitty67 :
Hey Woman...I just wanted you to know I added an entry in this thing...it's been a long time...and while I was here...checked yours out...Randy ?...really ?...
from cmkern3 :
OH MY GOD GIRL!! I live, like, 20 minutes from Waukegan!!!!! Tops!!! We are SOOOOO going to have to hook up that week! Send me the details!!!!
from chicagojo :
Thanks for the note. Glad to know that someone likes when I welcome ppl to my rings. I run a whole schlew of them, so I'm always writing hellos. Of course I do it on company time with their uber-speedy Internet connection. It's the only way... :) Have a good one.
from cmkern3 :
Hahahahaha!!! I agree about diaryland, although - gotta love it anyway! (I actually had a little back & forth diary spat with a certain reviewer before...she totally bashed my diary and when i went to hers it was like 300 entries about some guy she liked...LMFAO)
from chicagojo :
Thanks for joinign the long-hair diaryring. Now flip that pretty mermaid hair and make everyone weak in the knees!
from starlight42 :
I totally agree with you. But I suppose we were just as obnoxious at that age too. Although, I didn't have an online diary & if I did I don't think I'd be so critical of others. It is funny that at 15 or so they think they can judge a 20 somethings diary accurately. They have no clue. I used to do reviews, and request older people, but usually that's only a 20yr old as well, so still lots of stupidity going on. I've stopped. :)
from cmkern3 :
Hey - just wanted to let you know I didn't blow you off during our IM's yesterday...our internet connection at work crashed - for most of the day. grrrr.
from cmkern3 :
Now, what did I tell you about the naked mermaid templates?? ;) ;)
from ladypoetess :
Actually, I have 3 mirrors of my ladypoetess diary, as well as having 3 other, completely separate diaries - a pagan diary (walkthepath.diaryland.com), a rant diary, and a Dom/sub arguement diary. The last two are hidden and and not connected to my "socially acceptable" diaries.
from cmkern3 :
I can't believe your job is hiring so much! Ours just got done laying people off for the FIRST TIME ever! I'm jealous!
from pashiesplace :
Thanks! I really appreciate you asking around!
from cmkern3 :
Hahaha...everytime I come to your site, I have to read the first couple paragraphs REALLY REALLY fast so that someone from work doesn't walk up and think I'm a big naked mermaid perv....
from girlgonebad :
Hahah! Thanks for clickin my pimp link!
from pashiesplace :
The history and culture for sure. Thanks!
from pashiesplace :
Something tells me you might be exactly the person to ask...can you recommend a good book on faeries? My interest is suddenly sparked and I need to read about them!
from girlgonebad :
I tried signing your book but it didn't work?!?! I wanted to let you know that I loooooove your layout! it rawks! I also was glad to see that there is someone else at there that has four parents, and has personality traits from all of them. It totally questions the "Nurture vs. Nature": theory. How could it possibly be one or the other?
from cmkern3 :
Welcome back girl!
from cmkern3 :
Heehee! Thanks for your note! :) Glad I made you laugh girl!
from youscareme :
I tried to sign the book, but it was being flaky. I don't know what to you tell you about all the similarities. It would be really scary if our fiances' names were the same or similar. We'll have to meet up someday, since we're practically twins anyway. :)
from starlight42 :
Hey, thanks for the note! You know, you've got a good point. I never looked at it that way. Very true!
from cmkern3 :
I wasn't too clear below - what I meant is that I think #2 is probably more appropriate for you - not #1...hehehe....
from cmkern3 :
I have had quite a few teeth-falling-out dreams! Know what they mean? One of 2 things: 1. If your teeth are rotten, crooked, and/or falling out this means that your lies are hurting someone very badly and that you will soon be found out. Or (and knowing some of your life situations, this is probably more appropriate) 2. Falling out: Loss of control over certain aspects of one's life. Powerlessness, unable to influence things or the outcome of things important. Loss of self-esteem in a situation or a chronic problem.
from deep-guilt :
interested in getting a review? check out http://designviews.diaryland.com or http://fuckinugly.diaryland.com for a review on your design!
from cmkern3 :
Hey girl...just added you to my AOL IM list, but then I realized you probably aren't on during the days, and I'm not on in the evenings...LOL...so, you're listed but we'll probably never chat! Heehee.
from inaptbeauty :

from cmkern3 :
Okay, so JournalCon is in October in Austin, TX for online diarists....you in????
from cmkern3 :
I just heard about Margaret Atwood's new book last week!! I heard its freaky because its about a disease that wipes out humanity except for 1 person and people are comparing it to S@RS. So its good eh? I'm going to have to check it out now! Handmaid's Tale still my favorite - it'll be tough to beat that one out of 1st place...
from jelibeary :
aaah I was wondering what was going on lol :)
from lealoo :
Hey, I love your 'A-Z'!!! Can I use that?
from disolvedgirl :
I don't know any of your cantact info off the top of my head, and this is the only way I can think to tell you... I don't know if it's just me, but your diary just loads up as a plain white blank page. Been doing it for a couple days now. I don't think it's my computer cause everyone else's diary is working fine... I dunno....
from horny-hobbit :
Rockin' you added me as a pal also! your layout is really great!
from cmkern3 :
Ok, so - where do you live again? And what company do you work for? Because I am relocating to wherever it is that you are! I work for a large credit card company, am an exempliary employee (always good reviews, etc..,) but I can't get a promotion to save my life!!!! I've posted for 5 promotions, and out of these 5 positions I've been granted 1 interview for 1 of them. And then didn't get it. The company tells me its b/c I don't have a degree. Nevermind that fact that I am smart as hell and could contribute SOO much more than I'm able to as an assistant....because I don't have a piece of paper, I'm stuck. Oh yeah - and when I asked for help with being able to start classes again (mostly financial assistance) - yeah they said no. S'great.
from cmkern3 :
Oh sweet, sweet mystical. Sweet, a bit naive regarding children, mystical! :) You know I love ya hon, but little kids just don't behave the way you'd like them to, and the way they should. Sure, sometimes they do, and its great. But most of the time, they're not thinking about grabbing your hand when they're near the street, or speaking softly when indoors...they're thinking about being a kid. Now, of course I'm not saying we should let all the children run around wild and allow them to be bratty, but we also have to cut them some slack too. Yes, they need boundaries, but they also need some room to be their own person too. They're going to make mistakes, and do many many stupid annoying things. Allowing them to not be perfect little angels is one of the biggest parts of helping them grow. :)
from jelibeary :
Sorry I missed your birthday I remember seeing it when it said you had 5 days left and I was like "I'm going to be the first person on diaryland to say happy birthday" but I ended up being the last :( Sorry I didn't make it back in time to say Happy Birthday. :)
from elliorange :
Happy, happy birthday! I hope you have a great day!! :)
from preciousgift :
Yummmmmmm! I love The CheeseCake Factory! I go to the one in Atlanta whenever I'm near there.
from jen69 :
happy birthday hope you have a great day
from jelibeary :
I understand your fustration. I don't have wic but I do have medicaid for my son. I don't work but my fiacee does right now I am looking and applying to jobs all over. I thank God everyday that they have medicaid and its not because I get out of paying for my sons visits its because I know that my son is being cared for and getting what he needs. Once I have a job and am making enough to pay the med bills believe me I am getting of medicaid what makes me mad there are people that take advatage of foodstamps, medicaid, wic. There the ones that go and get pregnant on purpose to pay for there food and stuff. I mean when I went to the place to get brendens medicaid I was stunned to see people that have like 6 kids ranging the ages newborn,1,2,3,4,5. Yes everyone deserves to have kids I just wish people wouldn't take advantage of it. It makes people like me look bad lol not really but you know what. I walk in the docters office give them my medicaid card and its like all eyes are on me. Terry gets bitched out all the time at work I mean his co-workers and all are like we are paying for your child, becuase they pay taxes. I mean I've worked every since I was 13. I have paid taxes. My fiancee when I was pregnant was working three jobs and me one so we could pay for my medical expensises. And I'm proud to say that I don't owe the hospital nothing. now. lol :) But while we were working we paid taxes, and terry is paying taxes now. but anyway I guess I'm tired of people getting pissed at terry at work. I mean I pay for my childs food, clothes, toys, rent, I just needed help with his medical bills so I could pay for all thoughs. But anyway now I am rambling but I totally agree with you I don't feel that I am taking advantage of medicaid because after paying for everything my son needs I have nothing left over and I will be off once I have a job and can take over. lol :) I'm happy not angry lol :) But anyway I just wanted to let you know I know how you feel. Larenda
from jelibeary :
Hello, I was checking out your diary today and saw that your mood said sick. I'm sorry you feel sick I hope everything is okay and you feel better soon. Larenda
from starlight42 :
I like the new layout! The A-Z thing is cool too. Where did you get it?
from starlight42 :
Have a good weekend. That's cool when you complain and a business actually listens and makes it up to you.
from cmkern3 :
OH...MY....GOD...I am FROM Waukegan, IL !!! AND, it is about 20 minutes from where I work!! Why might you have to go there??? (I am truly sorry about that by the way - hehehe!)
from aurenna :

Online mommy friends....how cute! I'm glad you didn't take offense to my comments! BTW - how do you find time/energy to write in your diary EVERYDAY???? Send sommathat dedication over my way wouldja? :O)
from cmkern3 :
Oh you're so cute...I totally didn't mean to make you feel you had to go on the defensive - I hope I didn't!!! I know that each family has their own arrangements/agreements/etc.., and I would never judge another person for a decision they've made with THEIR lives....I guess I was just giving my own personal take/experience on the matter.... for whatever its worth! BTW - I just love your diary!
from wild-crazy13 :
thanks for *creating* the happy ring! while i was looking for rings to join, i found so many depressing ones. can't diarists be happy? that's why i was so, uh... happy (!!!) when i found your ring. thanks! =D
from onebluegreen :
Thanks for filling out my survey. (I am also glad you started a Misty Diaryring.) I think what I like about being a Misty I think the name conjures up many different things from sad, to sexy, to moist weather, to mystical. I feel like many things instead of one. And it is cool to have my name reflect that.
from cmkern3 :
Um...I just realized that I've started each of my notes to you with OKAY. Wierd.
from cmkern3 :
Okay, so since you work in benefits...perhaps you can tell me how I might swing short term disability. I don't really have anything wrong with me, but I feel like I need a good 6 months off, with pay - even if it is 60%. Maybe I could use my panic attacks somehow...? :o)
from cmkern3 :
Okay okay....I just went back and checked - and you DID fill out my survey!! I'm having a bit of a blonde moment today - don't mind me!!
from cmkern3 :
Ok, so I filled out your surveys........stop by and fill mine out?? I was a tad hurt when I read your entry that said you filled many surveys out....!! :o)
