from svenhard :
hey, how you doing, been a long time, everything still ok ?
from leggierox :
Oooh, you're good, you amateur Sherlock you! Hehe. It's a bit of a long winded story, but we're sort of drifting in a no-mans-zone at the moment, between almost ending up together, and then deciding we cant be (mostly me doing that bit). At least this time we've lasted a whole week without kissing again *shifty eyes*
from leggierox :
No, its ok, don't worry. I'm ok, really. I don't expect you to say anything, there's nothing really to be said. Possibly "I told you so" =)
from leggierox :
Yikes...sounds more like a husband beater to me...
from leggierox :
I made that point when I first heard that song, but I still think its great...I first heard it a couple of weeks ago before it had been released (couresty of Adam) and thought it was simple, but great...oh well =) And whats this about Dirty Pretty Things?! Mucho jealous ;)
from maibee :
I SO agree with you concerning that song. I couldn't understand how the hell punk rock got mixed up with flowers(?!?!).. some people, I swear!
from fan4 :
get well soon!
from leggierox :
Nice! Mewants an anti-teen-repeller thingymajigg! =D x
from leggierox :
Very good review =) x
from leggierox :
Of course people are still reading *shifty eyes* =) x
from leggierox :
At least you get to be in the wedding - I only ever get invited these days, and usually half of the Indian population of Harrow turns up as well ;)
from dulcibella :
Hope the revision is going ok... I still have a recurrent nightmare that I haven'r done enough revision for my history A - level, which I took 13 years ago -aargh
from dulcibella :
Good luck with your exams. As far as the 2:1 goes, you'll probably surprise yourself. I remember getting really stressed thinking my life would be over if I got a 2:2 and ok I did get the 2:1, but you know what, I know people who got 2:2s who are doing really well with their careers, whilst I am mining the depths of mediocrity! All the best
from leggierox :
=O Sweet! Email xfm back and tell them that your junk mail filter screwed you around and see if they'll resend them!
from bluerelic :
the weirdest thing happened: as i was reading your entry there came a knock at my door, two kids wanting to know if i would donate to charity... its almost the same... but not really...
from leggierox :
Harhar there ish no escape!!! =D
from leggierox :
Hehe indeed it does help if the tracker is up, and you update more often you post-shirker, you! x
from meganwaits :
We have a new maine coon cat (not sure where the name comes from and I've heard people call it mancoon and I don't know what all). He's got a really little meow, but he's so tall and very thin and loves to wake me up at night.
from meganwaits :
Yikes, about the sleep problem. Hope it works itself out soon. You're sure a maine coon is not involved?
from leggierox :
Yeah, some of his other songs are absolutely gorgeous...I don't even NEED to know what he's singing about =) Talking of which, did you ever try to learn Greek? Cos I've been around Indians ALL my life, and barely know a word of Gujarati ;)
from dawdle :
thanks for the layout love. i like both of our designs hugely.
from dawdle :
you were a sister? that is exciting. i was too, one of the original gang. i don't remember meeting you, but i ran around there as lady pheebs, or just pheebs, not to be confused with pheobe, the other pheebs. anyway, i'm glad to have found your diary. it's an interesting read.
from dawdle :
mos def a nice looking layout. i just joined your ring. clive owen is VERY nice looking, too. the only reason I saw king arthur.
from leggierox :
Crappamoley! I might have to lock it for a while methinks...
from leggierox :
Jeezush! Talk about blasphemy! ;)
from leggierox :
Wow...*ish jealous*
from leggierox :
Mmmmm not quite...it has more to do with the weird parents thing than five minutes of fame. That was about if it gets posted, and I tell people =P
from leggierox :
"having a blast" *raised cynical eyebrows* It's an experience for sure, but it's hardly non stop partaying...pretty docile actually =P
from leggierox :
HAHA! I know! We were saying the very same thing to each other just this afternoon!
from leggierox :
Indeed, marmite is one of god's many gifts to man...Johnny Depp and ketchup being amongst others =P
from leggierox :
Lol did you actually meet him when you came?
from leggierox :
Nooo, it was a veggie sausage =D
from leggierox :
Same! I put down my email for everything, and now have got piles of come-and-officially-join-up emails in my inbox *whistles innocently and presses delete*
from leggierox :
*shifty eyes* Happy Mondays was rather fantastic though =D
from leggierox :
I think the talk was most definitely worth it... and justified. After I texted him to say I'm not interested, I thought it would be ok until one of my flatmates construed his affection to be of the going-out kind 0_o
from leggierox :
Yeah, I got a good cop of The Sight by accident (I'm not joking, it really was an accident) whilst adjusting my radio and now he keps his curtains shut until he's dressed lol.
from leggierox :
I'm really not. I don't know why you guys keep saying that! You're lulling me into a false sense of security...
from leggierox :
yeah, freaked out, definitely.
from leggierox :
Couldnt have put it better =)
from leggierox :
Aw yay! I haven't been to a wedding in ages...at least not a non-Indian one, where I don't even know the bride or groom, or any of the other four thousand people there =P
from leggierox :
Yes, in the London Dungeon. And not only was he dead, he was an actor =/ At least your guy was real...
from leggierox :
Aw you got stalked by a randomner ASDA employee whilst looking for stuff for me! That's so sweet! Thank you! =P Damnit woman you've got to take it in your stride, at least you weren't chatted up by A DEAD GUY =D
from leggierox :
You. Are. A. Genius. =D
from leggierox :
I dunno if papering over the hole is exactly what's going on, but I'm likely to say that, since I'm probably guilty of it. It's almost like it didn't happen. But what I keep saying to myself is that it really could've been a helluva lot worse. Obviously all losses are losses, but the best thing we can do is just carry on.
from slam-bradley :
I don't watch television or listen to the news, so this was the first I had heard of the attack at all. I can't believe it isn't some kind of joke. I hope everything turns out for the best, really, my thoughts are with you and London in general.
from miss-music :
I'm in the States and was up early(basically I hadn't gone to sleep) and this news was all over everywhere. Just because not as many people died doesn't mean it's any less of a tragedy. I'm glad not as many were hurt. It's just a shame that any had to be at all. Hopefully you and yours continue to be safe. We're all on severe alert over here. Tony Blair seems like a strong, competent man and I'm sure you're all in good hands.
from outre-fancy :
Thank you for asking, yes I'm thankfully okay, a bit shaken but that's to be expected. Yes my mum made it back home safely, she was really frightened because she knows my school is in Euston and they kept on showing shots of the 205 bus that I take with the top all blown off, so she was pretty relieved.
from leggierox :
Ah *blushes and rushes back to change it*...I was deep in thought about Buckbeak at the time and how mean it was for Kreacher to hurt him lol (forget about all the other evil things he did, that pretty much topped it =D)...I can't do many things at the same time, obviously lol. Cheers!
from leggierox :
That's what I did at the beginning of sixth form. Decided to start afresh with no one knowing the shady dull and embarassing bits of my past self. So I went at it, loud and brash, and I think it worked =) Although I'm sure to most people think I'm now boringly loud and brash rather than fun loud and brash =P And anyway we loves you for what you are, which is the great (quiet) MEGETH!!! *huggles* luv lainy ~x~
from slam-bradley :
My dad actually bought a tv the other day and for the first time since about the second grade I realized that the Simpsons is just a show. Not real people just a show.
from slam-bradley :
And that should have said 'yoga' not yogo. Unless yogo IS the art of teaching people to watch television. Sadly I could probably do with a lesson. I never do watch television and the last time I tried at a friends house I pulled out a book before the first commercial. I'm a failure to my generation.
from slam-bradley :
If you're looking to start a business, I suggest teaching lessons of some kind. It's simple, and you can do it pretty much anywhere. I was thinking of teaching yogo lessons. There would be a lot of freedom in that.
from rockchild16 :
Hey buddy! I'm glad I could help you out! It's been a while...how're you? <3! Beckers
from leggierox :
=( Aw no...mumps definitely not good...never had them before, but that's besides the point. I'm starting to freak out about the last week, not because of the finality and the end is near blah blah, but because digital cameras were being brought in to school as early as last week =/ I'm particularly worried about the state of my eyebrows/hair/hairy arms which might make a lasting appearance in people's photo albums =D Hoping your OK, luv Lainy ~x~
from candoor :
I ranted about government this week myself, which is rare (I think) because I try not to watch the news (following the advice of Mother Teresa)... hope life has been fun since your entry :)
from katiedoyle :
it's in the boring minutiae of life that all the really important things tend to be found. kd
from supermom3604 :
I came in through a banner ad, and wow. You are totally me at 18. I'll be back for sure.
from leggierox :
=O Have you read my mind or something?! I'm very nearly 18, and still haven't told a guy I like him either, and I get through them like every few months...I was thinking about telling Sweet Guy, but that would be all stalkerish, like um *cough* Shorty stalker =/ Anyway, I just avoid looking in the mirror cos I hate what I see sometimes, so I guess maybe it's normal? Or maybe we're both abnormal? =P Oh man I dunno...hope you're feeling better anyways, luv ya as always, *woolly hug*, lainy x
from a1984 :
Carry on my wayward son. Their'll be peace when you are done. Lay your weary head to rest. Don't you cry no more.
from leggierox :
Yuhuh I'm writing an entry now...had an icky cold, bnut am practically better now. Apart from that usual - avoiding work at all costs, wasting time on the net etc lol. And you? luv lainy ~x~
from leggierox :
:O MARRIED?! WHA?! *ahem* anyway, um I agree with you on the taking more risks thing. I was talking to Matt (yes I know, a lost cause), and I think he's trying to hook me up with the guitarist in his band. Who seems like a nice guy. But I'm UBER scared. Anyway I wanted to tell you that you'r picture's disappeared, and punctuation in your entries have been replaced by weird square things - go look =) hope you're fine etc etc luv lainy ~x~
from calimae :
Randomly passing by. I like your diary, it's scary how much I agree with what you say. ^_^
from outre-fancy :
Interesting entry. I found you on Lianne's page. I don't agree with the death penalty, but I am 100% behind the life inprisonment, because most of those people TOOK SOMEONE'S LIFE. Pedo's don't get life sentences! Mostly first degree murders do, and some may say that the only way to repent what they have done is to take away their life, and since it's illegal here to do that phyisically, they do it by putting them behind bars. Oh and also the life sentence hardly lasts all their life. If they are good and stuff, they get a reprand (sp) in around 16 years, which I seriously look down on and sometimes even makes me consider the death penalty which I know is morally wrong, but when I read about what they've done to poor victims and what they've put their families through, and I imagine that it was MY family they did it to, I want nothing more but for them to be dead. I personally am so hostile, I think that the death penalty should continue to exist, BUT they are given a very detailed fair trial such as the ones held here in England. A more detailed trial than for example, a normal offence. / Lila ^_^ PS: I am adding you!
from pinkbowshoe :
Hey there. Just came across your diary. I liked reading it and just wanted to say hey.
from leggierox :
Heh I know the feeling. I just literally in the last two weeks actually got organised and have started actually doing work. I actually get excited at the prospect of doing homework and stuff - it's quite scary...the novelty wil lwear off soon enough, methinks...
from etherealrevu :
your review is up.
from fight-club16 :
Hi..um this is Valerie, from ethereal-reviews. I was just wondering if you would still like that review (I'm sorry it's been such a long wait!) or if you'd like to be taken off the list. If you can drop me a note or sign my guestbook back, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
from leggierox :
HEHE I'm gonna try the bracelet, the belt but possibly not the head thing =D Most people don't really bother wearing theirs, but I'm now a member of the School Council (ooh) and therefore I must set a good example to the young uns =/
from leggierox :
Yo! Good to see you've updated, but I'm slightly concerned for the hammer thing =/ Trust me, just forget all work for one evening and go to bed early - I'm not normally a sleep person, but it's a beee-oootiful thing =) take care, and sleep well, luv Lainy x
from expndableyth :
Hello i like the name and for the sleep thing i understand i get about the same amount but i cant sleep on buses and at work grave outcomes so i cant suggest nothing about the sleep issue. sorry
from ibmegin :
DUDE! Lol! I HATE BUSH! he is like the devil incarnate as far as I'm concerned.. and I live in the US so i have to deal with his bullcrap! My friend and I have decided to move to canada, although that is still too close to bush! I think even japan would be too close to bush! I was so rooting for Kerry.. and to lose it by 4% of the votes! It kills me! there was one point where Kerry was only 2 electoral votes behind Bush and I saw a shine of hope, but then it was over! Lol! you should have seen my government teacher when he found out, he was so devistated! He's like a 24 year old super liberal so he was really upset. He was like "Just get to your work, I don't feel like teaching today.." lol! classic! anyway.. i know exactly how your feeling about the election, I'm a bit pissed as you can tell! Too bad I didn't get to vote this year! 5 months! If i were only 5 months older! oh well.. its over now.. but I swear when the US starts to crash and burn I won't be afraid to say... "I told you so Bush bitches!!"

MEGGIE! You updated within minutes of me, so I'm just noting to say hi if you're still online...on the site that is. OK sounding rather dumb, so I'm gonna go one last thing...GO KERRY!!!! *ahem*
from mixedbreed89 :
Happy Birfday!!!
from leggierox :
Aw man! Someone beat me to it - CHICKEN FACTORY DUDE RULES!!! Just looking at him makes me giggle uncontrollably =D HeeHee...
from photo-frame :
I LOVED THE CHICKEN FACTORY MAN. He was fucking amazing. I loved how at the end he said, "Well at least i can go back and work in my chicken factory now" like he really loved his job. Yes i hate reality tv, but singing competitions are always fun, especially the auditioning stage. Now i love the little opera group and TABBY! =] Nice diary!

from banefulvenus :

from mixedbreed89 :
Oh my God! Kerry and Edwards might be liberal, but they would never talk about their first time! *is traumatized*
from mixedbreed89 :
Johnny Depp does rock. I hope your University turns out okay!
from mixedbreed89 :
Neeto!(A little fifties slang there.haha) Cool! I really would like to see all of that Art...I love art. Oh, I understand 150% what you mean about Churches! I, myself, like all types of religioug buildings, I hang out in one myself, they are so calm and feel so safe. I'm not even Christian and I like Churches. Though another type is more of my favorite.:) Well, I hope yah get better, and I didn't know that British people cared about our politics so much! BBC had this Irish guy reporting from the Republican national convention yesterday on the radio, it was so cool. Sorry, me and new accents are just fun. Hahahahaaa. I think I smoked some floo powder. *ponders life and it's meaning, and ricotta.)
from mixedbreed89 :
Hope yah have a good time in Italy, my Mom's friend said it was nice, tell me about it!
from mixedbreed89 :
I'm glad you liked it. I thought the part when the Native American guy was singing was super funny, it was sad, but funny and true. (I think he was a famous chief or something. I knew his name! I hate it when I forget things!Grrrrr...)
from mixedbreed89 :
Hi! Oh My God! I just saw the funniest animated short ever. It's on www.jibjab.com, you must see it. It's hilarious. It's the big sign with Bush and Kerry arm in arm, with the American flag in the back. It's so funny. Think five words. "Bush is a dumb ass." HAHAHAHAAAA...
from mixedbreed89 :
HI! Britionary, now that is a neet word!(Okay, enough of the fifties-esc talking) I love reading about slang! Add more! Please. And I really didn't know 'Sod Off' was such a mean thing to say. I thought it was cute. I mean when Americans cuss, it's friggin scary, when British cuss, it's offensive, but less blood thirsty. Like this British actor I am a fan of, says 'fook' instead of the nastier American 'FUCK'. Anyway, I love the britionary, bye!
from mixedbreed89 :
THANK YOU! For the note. And you guys got to see the Chili Peppers! SWEET!
from mixedbreed89 :
Hi. Sorry about Hampy. My cat died almost 5 years ago. Now I know it was'nt a hamster, but i still miss her. bye.
from allshewas :
Tat's aren't that bad... I'd rather have 100 tats done than get 1 shot or piercing!! I have 5, and I was a chicken before my first one too. It amazed me how easy it was, though. And yes, I'm totally normal (well, maybe not totally!). I didn't turn into Jerry Springer show material. ha ha.
from my-reviews :

I think Le Petit Prince in French is more difficult than people expect because it's in passe simple. (I read it a couple years ago in my French class.)
from mixedbreed89 :
Hi! Thanks for replying so fast, didn't think you would. Anyway, yeah, my diary is only 7 entries long, it's because I just started it, and it's so boring because I've got no job to pay for it. As soon as I get a job and buy myself a Furisode, I might buy the membership thing. Anyway, awesome diary, love your humor. I got hooked on to your diary every since I first read your old entry about the anti-Sean Bean. IT WAS SO HILARIOUS!!! I almost had a heart attack in front my computer when I read that beacause I was laughing so hard. Anyway, thanks for even taking the time to look at my amazingly plain diary, and hopefully I'll learn how to spell things better. BYE!!!
from mixedbreed89 :
HI! You have a really cool diary. Anyway, how did my diary get listed in you're Diarylanders column? Even though I think that's really cool. Well, I'll know if you don't reply to this because you have a million readers, anyway, Bye!

from leggierox :
AAARRRGGHGH SHE DRIVES ME CRAZY TOOO!!!! GRRRR
from leggierox :
Heya Meggie dahling, it's Lianne. It shouldn't bother you about you favourite diaries list thing. You don't have to write FOR anybody, apart from yourself. I know that's not strictly true in that you know there are certain people reading, and there are certain things that you can't say when they're out there (i.e. Christmas present planning ;) hint hint :D) Anyway, when we were born, us geeks were DESIGNED to be social outcasts, and to cling to each other in our love for one obsessive subject. Anyway the whole favourite diaries thing, in my opinion is kinda silly cos I'm SURE that no one reads EVERY SINGLE ONE of their favourite diaries' entries...or is that just me? :) Anyway, hang tight dude, its all in the genes :D take care luv lianne -x-
from a-little-off :
Thanks, I appreciate it.

Hey, it's your fellow reviewer at Fleur. Listen, I already reviewed brdwaybebe at another site, so would you mind doing that review instead? Let me know.

Hey! Its Michelle. I've noticed that not many have really been reviewing, and I was wondering if you were going to continue reviewing here. Just let me know, so I can go ahead and get more reviewers if nessesary. Thanks.

howdy. I run the anti-make-up diaryring. I found the code myself, but I thought I'd just let you know that the link for rings on your extras page leads to your LOTR quizzes instead of rings. You might wanna change that. I'm not removing you from the ring though :o) Thanx for joining!

Not to worry, I am alive. And well, amazingly. Just a virus in the networks that keeps my computer in my dorm from getting hooked up. Alas.
from poppyfish :

from missused :
Thanks for joining my Micheal Vartan diaryring, I'll consider your offer! ;)

Your room sounds fun, man. Oh, and yeah, I rather fancy my little cartoon self too. :) If only I was that cool, alas!
from poppyfish :
;) I was just kidding ya, of course. Males are definitely males.
from poppyfish :
Aw, thanks for the guestbook messages, sweetie. So you asked guys if I was hot and they said yes? Let me guess, you kidnapped a little boy off the street and held him at gunpoint, right? "IS SHE GOODLOOKING? IS SHE?!" :p OK, sorry, just kidding. Thank you very much for the encouragement. My entry was honestly just a clever (well, sorta clever) way to whine about myself YET AGAIN. ;) But ssh, don't tell anyone!
from poppyfish :
Why, thank you for joining the Jack Sparrow diaryring, pumpkin! Yo ho and all that!
from poppyfish :
Well ... embarassingly ... I didn't know Bloom was a vegetarian to begin with, much less that he quit. So you see, I'm even more behind in celebrity news than you are. ;)
from leggierox :
Hey! Since when did Karl use dland?
from poppyfish :
Yeah, I don't know. I got confused with the meter man. It was so sudden. Oh, and you should definitely watch Priscilla. Especially if you like Weaving and want to see him in drag.
from poppyfish :
How did I confuse you? Oh, and if I didn't want to watch that movie for Jackman, I'd definitely want to see Kelly Lynch play a president. ;)
from poppyfish :
Ooh, definitely get a tattoo. I think it's a good idea to get something you like, even if you may outgrow it. Plus, those elvish designs always look stylish. ;) You can lie and say they're Celtic. :P
from ghostiness :
Welcome to the HugJonathan ring... trust me: As someone who's hugged him, it's well worth being a member. *grin* Thanks, and enjoy.
from poppyfish :
I'm so glad you had a good time. You sound like quite the party girl ... I'm jealous. :P I would have moped around sipping 7-Up and fantasizing about random British celebrities.

from poppyfish :
Yeah, S Club 7 apparently liked it in the States for a while. We got them in commercials bragging about how they got here. "Take a left at France!" And then they started chirping about never giving up. Good. Lord. They pushed my love of all things British to a limit.
from poppyfish :
What a cute new layout. Burger King! Aw! Anyway ... yes, when I die, you will definitely get my porno shoes. And you better wear them with pride, too!

I feel you about the race thing. I remember one summer I got dark from constant outdoor swimming. The questioning regarding what to "label" me was more than just annoying, but plain insulting. Anyway, I hope in however way you deal with this, it'll just make you a stronger person. My friend from London who's in University with me here in Detroit is Jamaican-Filipino...she gets tired of people greeting her in Hindu, lol. Oy. I rambled way too long. Take care and welcome to Asian Pride. (^-^)
