I Hope your Christmas was a great one. I miss you. Drop me a line [email protected] and let me know how everyone is.
from mahvalicious :
Finally I have found another American that didn't vote for BO and doesn't believe he's the returning messiah that can save us all. I can't believe that America has fallen for his B.S. I used to write on dland - now I write under the name of Lena at http://talesfromfrostbitefalls.com. Stop in some time. I'd love to hear from you.
from cosmic :
Does this mean you don't love me anymore? I hope not.
from cosmic :
OMG! You have written many funny stories but I think this one will become a classic! I am amazed at your weight loss! Go you! I am at 186 down from 202 but being that I can't exercise, it is slow going. I am so proud of you. Send me a picture of the new you. Please!!
from cosmic :
I can't wait for CSI!! It is going to be strange without Grissom and Warwick, though. And I am with you on the minute early or late. Last year I got screwed up totally on my ER because of that. I am also in mourning. I am mourning early for the last season of ER. I have been a faithful viewer for 14 years and have never missed an episode. I will cry on the last night. Hell, I cried Thurday when they killed off Pratt!
from kirbyo :
Of course I agree with you my love. I especially agree with you that everyone should make their own choices. VOTE!!! Even if you vote for that Chicago machine toady(community organizer).
from cosmicrayola :
Merry Christmas sis! To you and yours from me and ours.
from cosmicrayola :
That bedroom came out beautiful!!! Moth sounds like me. I won't allow anyone in the room with me when I am doing a project. I sputter all kinds of things and anyone within earshot thinks I'm talking to them. I'm not, of course. but they think so.
from cosmicrayola :
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TODAY 10/29! I hope it's a great one!!
from thecrankyone :
thank you so much for the kind comment. It means alot to know others are thinking of us.

I just watched that youtube about the judge. Since when does a judge get that emotional and involved in a ruling? What an ass. Judge Judy will chew him up and spit him out over that little vaudville act.
from cosmicrayola :
Wow!! Only 39. Sad that she was probably never really a happy person.
from chaosdaily :
thanks for the comment! it wasnt two joints, just two little sticks from whatever was in the rest of the baggie. the thing i try to explain to her is that if a police officer sees that (which it was easily visible from outside) that he will search the rest of her car, and find empty 12 packs in the trunk, and she will be toast. i dont actually think shes dealing pot, the problem was that she is hanging around with 16 year old boys, and shes 19.... and i actually know who their dealer is! but i do think she is supplying the beer, and that is something she will be hearing about more and more.
from l-empress :
Diaryland has been spitting me out with regularity -- when it isn't sending me spam -- but what really annoys me is that it won't send me notifications. Haven't read you since you got off your supermeds. I hope you're doing okay.
from cosmicrayola :
I added your clip to my entry. Thanks!!
from mrcleanluver :
Oh my! If my stupid butt had paid attention I would have probably known that. I thought you worked at a PUBLIC school. Now it all makes sense. Sorry!
from mrcleanluver :
hehe a kitty! So cute! However, I think the rules go waaaaaaay the freak too far in searches. No COLORED SHOELACES? No HOODIES? No RINGS? No NECKLACES? What threat could those POSSIBLY pose? Wow. And I remember being amazed that the year after I graduated (2002) bandanas were banned at my high school. Wow. Wow. Wow.
from cosmicrayola :
I waited 17 days just to hear you fart???????????
from usmcsis :
okay, so having a big hole suddenly appear in the ceiling is a bad thing. but, on the up side, that is the coolest friggin bathroom i have ever seen. i am completely jealous. i hope you and yours have a great year, with no more holes in ceilings and other such crisis-ey things ~
from usmcsis :
i had the same exact issues when i had my tonsils and adnoids out years ago. my parents tried for years to get my doctor to take them out and they refused and they essentially rotted in place until they were forced to take them out. and the vommitting in recovery, oh, how i remember. i woke up, rolled over and puked on the nurses shoes. more than once. good times. i'm so sorry that you had such a worrysome wait. i'm sure you're taking excellant care of your girl so give her my best wishes and ya'll have a happy holiday. (((hugs)))
from cosmicrayola :
I had my T&A back when I was 19. I remember it all too well. Give her a gentle hug from me. Poor baby. And keep those popsicles coming!
from ibepiglet :
I hugged you back! :-)
from fan4 :
I clicked on your hug counter.
from blakkrayn :
Stumbled in and began from the beginning. I love your sense of humor esp. about the infections, girdles and GNC skinny pierced guy! A definete add. Take care! :)

Stopping by to say that I clicked the banner. I got to I Be (dot dot dot), I is (dot) before I clicked. :)
from juniperhexum :
Don't get so discouraged by a few pounds this early on! You didn't gain the weight overnight so you're not going to lose it overnight. Throw out the scale and don't freak out about lost pounds until a month has gone by. If you lose 5 pounds in a month, that is really something. Just keep telling yourself that this willt ake time and don't beat yourself up. Think positive!
from juniperhexum :
maybe its because you HAVE to diet now? if You didn't feel like this is it or you die, maybe you wouldn't be so miserable?
from cosmicrayola :
I left a comment for you this morning. I just realized your comments aren't working. I whish you all the luck in the world. Please let me know if there is "ANYTHING" I can do to help. Love ya, cybersis!
from alogglalala :
yes, couldn't lose the lala in some form. still loopy. better, but not normal, still trying to work out what causes it. had the tests, found nothing. figured you'd be cluey enough to suss it out! back in dland, SPORADICALLY!!! missed you all, and you especially.
from auntie-ame :
Thanks for your note! Yes, I believe we may have crossed paths at some point. I'll send you an email.
from treewillow :
Sorry I know I am early. Happy Birthday, I hope you have a wonderful day.
from juniperhexum :
Ok, so you have the flu and that sucks and all, but good to hear from your corner of the world! I've locked up - email: [email protected] if you want it - I'm not leaving it in the notes or guestbooks. :)
from usmcsis :
take care of yourself ibe. i will be awaiting your return on 9/1. though i might pop back in from time to time to see that beautiful smiling face. :) i hope you return renewed and refreshed. until then ~ webemissingyou :) ~ cindy
from usmcsis :
well, i just finished. it took close to a week but i read the whole damn thing. i think you are a wonderful person. you have a strength that i envy. i know things are somewhat rough for you right now with the withdrawls and getting on the new medication and feeling "crazy", but you have been through so much, just since you started your diary, not to even mention #1 and jackass. i can honestly say that i feel like i've met a friend despite the fact that i've only left a few notes here for you. i will continue to read your entries and i look forward to every update. i keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. thank you. ~ cindy
from usmcsis :
can i just tell you that i love you and your entire family. i have spent my spare minutes during the past week reading from day one, 8/8/2001. i am currently on 3/26/2003. if you've checked your stats you've probably seen me. lol anyway, i've cried with you, laughed with you, with your whole family, i can't even explain it. and as i mentioned before in a comment to one of your entries, despite being single and having no children, there are still quite a few things about you to which i can relate. i just wanted to thank you for putting your life out there for us to read and take from. ~ cindy
from juniperhexum :
I went through a half dozen medications over a 7 month period before I finally found the one that worked. All my doc's made me stay with them for a month to see if any changes occured. I think the thing that always got me was that side effects are insane for EVERY drug. Wellbutrin was what ended up working for me, but I took a REALLY high dosage (more than normal) and it took a good 5 weeks to get into it. The 5 weeks were rough. I was aggitated, couldn't sleep, I was constantly nauseas, etc. But then as if by magic, it all stopped. Suddenly things didn't hurt so much. I started sleeping better and my nerves got back to normal. I know there is risk of seizure, but it is a very small risk. VERY small. Side effects, like words, only have as much power as you give them. You can't focus on them or you will start to feel them. I really hope you can stick with it through the first month because I truly believe you will start feeling better. No drug is a quick fix. Your body has to get used to the new chemicals replacing ones that are missing. I know its rough, but try it. And good luck with it all. *hugs* You're like my favorite Auntie Ibe and I don't like seeing you struggle so much. Just be strong and you WILL get through all this.
from usmcsis :
thank you thank you thank you thank you! i have spent the past month wondering if i was having a heart attack or something. i have been sweating through my clothes within minutes of getting dressed. my hair stays wet all day long and i can't wear makeup because it melts right off my face. i couldn't for the life of me figure out what the problem was. but i take effexor! i had completely forgotten that the horrible sweating was a side effect until i read your entry today. thank you again. :)

Hi there, I'm just starting on The Cambridge Diet and I was wondering whether you have any exercise tips or tips on losing weight. Please let me know if you do. Anyways, happy holidays :)
from cosmicrayola :
I never got into the reality shows. I think they're all fake anyway. To me they are just a cross between a soap opera and wrestling.
from cosmicrayola :
Happy Thanksgiving from our home to yours!!

I came to your diary through cosmiccrayola and I just wanted to tell you how much I liked it. I too love Piglet but I also love Alice and she is a big part of the theme to my diary - Suburban Island. I will be coming back to read more soon!
from chaosdaily :
you cant see much detail on the pics, because of the size of the accident scene, the pics had to be taken from a helicopter. and 100 feet of roadway had to be replaced.... all due to heavy fog from lake michigan.
from chaosdaily :
be careful in the fog, about 6 months ago there was a terrible accident here because of fog, 47 cars involved, 12 deaths..... i have pics if you want to see them......
from wifemotherme :
OMG that poor chicken -now honestly wasn't that the cutest chicken you have ever seen? Bless his poor little heart! You know they lied when they said "no chickens were harmed in the filming of this spot" that poor chicken got caught up in power lines.
from quiddle :
awww! i did locks of love once too. it was like, my life's ambition. i grew my hair out from 5th grade till 8th and then cut it. it was sad, but i was so happy to help that i'm growing it out again so i can probably cut it sometime in a few years. it's a cool thing to do. thanks for letting people know about it. =)
from xenaish :
Ohhhhhhhhhh...I know what you mean about the court system, girlfriend!!! I've been there at least 15-16 times in the five years since my son was born; first for the divorce and later because the moron ex was angry and wanted to change his visitation schedule every two to three months. I kept WAITING for the judge to get fed up with these meaningless court appearances that the ex kept filing for, but when she finally did, did she order him to straighten up? NO--she simply transferred our case to a new judge. You're right--the system sucks, big time. ON a brighter note, you and your diary rock!!! :-) (p.s. write me at [email protected] if you ever want the password to my diary; had to lock it up temporarily).
from lvmahogany :
thanks LouAnne. Doug and I greatly appreciate it. And to answer your questions, we say YES. It is forever.
from avidproxy :
Thank you for signing my Guestbook! Oh, I'm sure they'll be an argument to my "repulsed by ass crack" entry... of course, it'll be from a GUY! :)
from avidproxy :
Hi there! I'm unlocked, and also flattered someone noticed! *smile* I read your entry today. Yup, me thinks there's a girl a-foot!
from waterfall2 :
Ha! You were right! Fifty Bucks was way too much! I ended up spending 32+tip for my french acrylics. And my experience was way diffrent from yours. Now did you have fake nails put on your real nails.. or did you have acrylic put on your real nails. You know that liquid stuff that is put on a paint brush then dipped in powder. That is what they did to me. They like shaped the gel unti it became hard. Kinda neat I thought. my nails don't hurt at all. And I'm very happy with them. Their pretty. It took me awhile to get used to them though. They are at medium length.I type with the nail part. Its getting easier :) well I think this is a long noet lol sorry. GB Christina
from waterfall2 :
Hi,,, I don't know if I ever left you a noet before.. but... I just read your nail horror story.. yikes!!! I'm a virgin when it comes to acrylic nails.. and I"m thinking about getting them frech style (where the tips are white and the bottom's pink) JC Penny's said they will do them for 50 bucks. But now.. after reading your story.. I might just change my mind.. Maybe JC penny's will be better though .. I don't know.. I hope your nail beds are feeling better.. you should note how long it takes for them to heal. I would be intrestead... ps .. Does diaryland have a spell check.. cause as you can see .. I need it! Christina.

Err, Jessica from Sales and Promotions says that she couldn't find your guestbook on 500,000 search engines, and wants to know if you'd like to waste money to correct this. She's hoping for a prompt and courteous response. Since I am incapable of courteous responses, I thought I would pass the message on instead. :)

I remember those darned ads...the pills were supposed to relieve pain and also do something for the kidneys...I'll bet they were aspirin and caffeine. No thanks!
from wifemotherme :
Welcome back! did you cut down the tree at safeast? CNN said someone did.
from patw-21 :
hey there, this is me letting you know!
from patw-21 :
hey, i totally would love a stamp...try to reflect my site...and it should cost either $420, or 21cents
from patw-21 :
are you a stamp designer? i totally love the idea.... let me know please
from scatcat :
Oh. My. God. Can I hire you? Your office is gorgeous. Or better yet, can I deluge you with emails, begging for instructions and tips? I much loves. Oh, and I believe Ms. I-empress is referring to a French Press. Starbucks sells them for around $20, but Tar-ghey shoppers can always find them cheaper. ;)
from l-empress :
Have you ever tried boiled coffee? No special pot - it's the way they used to do it before percolators and such were invented. Measure your water and coffee into a saucepan, and boil it till it's strong enough for you. Give it a little while for the grounds to settle, and pour off the the coffee. And when you're tired of it, well, you haven't lost your investment.
from geezo :
Thanks for signing my guestbook! And no, I actually kinda like "lo and behold." Very dramatic. Good luck with that corn starch idea. ---But beware, the beard stubble armored division will return with the liquid Eggo cannons! Verily, we are awash in an ocean of deepest doo-doo!
from tuff517 :
You know, I think it was Adventureland, now that you mention it. I was still young when they tore it down, but that big Paul Bunyon stood there for a long time, if I remember correctly. Thanks!

CONGRATS!! I hope your life together brings you everything you wish for!

Just keep "plodding along" -- you know somewhere down deep that things are just silently rearranging things inside to cope with the new "program." You'll suddenly get a big drop, and wonder how THAT happened! Remember, too, that our reproductive thingies are doing stuff long after the more obvious stuff has ceased. Give it a week...!
from fruitsalad87 :
hello! i just have to say, ibepiglet is just about the best name EVER... my old sn on AOL was Igletpay77 and my friend was Piglet4484, heh. power to the piglet
from dilettante :
I remember Zoom! Was singing along to the zip code, too. Peter was my favorite Monkee, too. My sister had dibs on Davy, and Mike wore that ugly hat, and Micky was just a no, so Peter it had to be. He was cute, despite that belt thing he had going on.

(aka Jean) I gotta share this with you... you know the good for nothing whisper thin grocery bags the supermarkets expect to hold 50 lbs of groceries each....? They are PERFECT for the handy-dandy auto-scooper you so lovingly write about. Just take one of those throw-away recepticals (at $20 for 12?!!?!?) and put one of those plastic grocery sacks in it, so that the handles of the sack are to the left and right of the whole thing. That way, the lid will close, and when it's time to empty the damn thing, just lift the handles to lift out the bag and the receptical is as clean as a whistle, still. My maiden name wasn't McKinnon for nuthin....!!!

Just read your entry from yesterday. I want to go shopping with YOU! OMG what a trip THAT would be!!! We could meet halfway in, say Pittsburg. A week-end of shopping and eating!! I'll think I died and went to heaven. But I'll have to call ahead and make sure they have Frankcheesies so you won't get ornery! ROFLMFAO!!
from cosmicrayola :
I signed your guestbook, but don't know if it regerstered. I'll check tomorrow. Too tired tonight. It was all good!, Promise! cosmicrayola.diaryland.com
