"messy", i don't think so just because it's not regulation Tertia size, thickness, and roundness does not make something else a "mess", there is always more than one truth even when making a flipping pancake.....oh yeah and pankcakes are always bigger than piklets so which is it a picklet or pancake...... |

Yeah, but I have been here this long and then other folks relationsip problems seem to make mine trivial... What can I say? Sometimes I am an idiot... |

Nice list, I agree with it and no, you are NOT being unreasonable... I should have stuck to my list better... |

Happy Birthday Gurl!!!! My prayers to your parents that they are safe and sound. You just keep on going, things are going to look up real soon. Ms-Do is one of the most positive people I know. You are so lucky to have her as a friend and walking buddy. Hugz n Lub, Bebe da FairyGodMum |
from whystinger : |
Yeah, one Christmas I decided to pick on my sister. I bought her presents, wrapped them and hid them. I also bought some "revenge gifts" like chocolate covered cherries (she hate's em) a Chia Pet and something else weird. This was a few years before she married. She opened up the gifts and she tried really hard not to show her disappointment. I let her sit for a few minutes and then gave her the real presents. She ended up keeping the Chia pet for years and laughing about it... |
from ms-do : |
Your Birthday tomorrow? |

Ok do as you must missy!!! |

Yes you nasty girl, having a fat old time while i'm working and ringing me to report your status.......get fucked.....lol |
from whystinger : |
Funny, but I was more attracted to you after I saw your picture and after chatting with you that I was before I say you. I wasn't sure about your age and your picture helped. Physical attraction is not always based on beauty. I have been attracted to a few women that were not pretty by most standards. One, Sha-rill was not pretty by most standards (or so I have been told) but for some reason I was really HOT FOR HER! It was some sort of animal attraction. Oh, I have dated those pretty women in my day, but those always turned out to be really shallow and disappointing relationships. I'll take the animal attraction any day. I am attracted to Terese that way too. (Honi too). While Honi is pretty, Terese is more plain... Anyway, I find myself attracted to you:) |
from niceguymike : |
*laughing* I can totally relate to what it feels like to go without nicotine. I will eventually quit smoking, but, for now, I don't have whatever it takes. For what it's worth, I think it's really easy to make generalizations; heaven knows I make enough myself. It's just that I *always* find that generalizations don't apply to a great many folks I know. For example, virtually every woman I know says she wants to be with a really nice guy -- but discards every nice guy she meets because she eventually sees niceness as not masculine enough. However, a few women do genuinely appreciate and prefer nice guys; otherwise, I'd never get a date. The main thing that holds me back is the incredible lack of manners I find in most of the people I've met, but that's not a gender-specific thing. I simply cannot date a woman who doesn't have at least a basic concept of manners. |
from niceguymike : |
OK, wait a minute. I will not for a minute claim that I'm interested in ugly girls. And, in general, I don't go for someone who's extremely obese. However, I'm not particularly looking for a trophy. And, of the women I've dated, I treasure those who were OK-looking by most standards but exceptionally intelligent, rather than those who were conventionally gorgeous but stupid. Please be more careful of generalizations of this sort. Also, please remember that sexual attraction varies from person to person. For example, I don't prefer blondes, but others may be wildly attracted to them. Some may like exceedingly skinny girls, while I don't. Some may not like to be with a very intelligent woman, while I do. For every generalization you can make about what you think men want, I can come up with at least one generalization about what I think women want. |

Wow! Tough love - your entry about living with someone with Bi-polar is very powerful. Thanks for sharing. Can I share it with a few folks at my local NAMI? (www.NAMI.org) and happy Valentines day to you, you sweet thing!!! |

New friends and clearing clutter... Did you know that when you clear clutter in your life you make room for change? It usually works very positively for me. I believe it will work for you too - just don't do what I do - drop the clearing. Keep it up and you will feel better. |
from niceguymike : |
We are the keepers of the three Sacred Phrases: ecky-ecky-ecky, ka-tang, zooooom-ping! |
from niceguymike : |
Now you're thinking! I have all sorts of criteria. In some ways, I wonder if I will ever meet anyone who embodies all of them, and then I realize that some of them are just things it would be nice to have, like an interest in Monty Python and a love of the Seattle Mariners. I figure if 80% of what I want is there, I'm good. Of course, it depends on *which* 80% is there! |
from niceguymike : |
I don't like having my weight mentioned, either, so I know how you feel about that. I'm certainly not awful, but could stand to lose 15 kilos. However, I always let potential dates know about it up front, as it were, and tell them it's not something I wish to discuss, or I say that if it comes up. Fact is, there are plenty of men out there who don't have an issue with their partner's weight. I have found, however, that virtually every woman I've met has a thing about her partner's height. As a guy who is 5'4", I've seen a lot of "Sorry, I don't even consider a guy who's under 5'11"", or something of that nature. There are plenty of great short guys out there, as well as plenty of big women. Even if you are fine with your partner's attributes, it doesn't mean these will never come up. If a woman talks to me about how she's dieting or exercising to lose weight, I'll probably say something about it. If a woman mentions elevator shoes to me, I'll probably just laugh it off. If she mentions diet, I'll say that I prefer not to discuss my weight in those terms right now. I guess my point is, what standards are *you* setting, and what issues are *you* not setting boundaries on? If you're definite about someone who will like your body no matter what (and you should), it will take longer, you may not date as much as you want, etc., but you will likely end up with someone who's a better fit with you anyway. Please don't condemn all men, and take a look at who you might not be giving a chance to for the same kinds of reasons you might not be getting a chance. |

from niceguymike : |
First of all, congrats on the grades! How lovely that you did so well in all your classes! Secondly, ref the diets, that Atkins stuff is great -- if you can afford it. I bought up the supplies and did it for two weeks, but it had me eating something like three pounds of roast beef a week! I don't have the inclination or the funds to keep up with that sort of thing. |

Good Morning: I read about Wayne and what you went through. I am sorry to hear of your troubles. I am always sorry to hear of someone passing.....but...I am glad you have a new life for you and your son. So how goes the war from above? My squirrels still attack everytime they see me. Interesting to hear of your webcam experiences I fortunately do not own one, I fear I would become popular in all the women prisons throughout the world lol. On one particular TV show I was in I would received quite a bit of fan mail from women in prison...I always worried they might get out lol. |

Ms Nerddette: It seems we have somethings in common, a spouse that as passed on. And we both have a Son....My Son used to screen some of the Ladies I would see....Then he would lobby for the ones he liked lol. How long has it been and how are you doing? I still have a tough time now and again. Have you read my entry titled September 19th it still hurts? I don't know of your situation with your husband and when he passed, but I do know how hard it was being a single parent. I just thought of a third thing we have in common...I'm attacked by Squirrels and you Maggpies LOL. My name is Michael whats yours? |

Hello Again: I too find the opinions of Ms Do filled with Merit. What I have read of you in your diary and based on the opinions of Ms Do you are indeed Wonderful. I strongly doubt you are boring and look forward to reading your diary. How goes the attack from above? What is it the Maggpies are after? You aren't an egg snatcher are you, you didn't mess with their nest? Do you secretly despise feather winged creatures? Did you as a child hate Big Bird? Do you wear feathers in your hair or cap while running? Tell me you don't sing a loud while running " 4 and 20 black birds baked in a PIE?" Are you a Cat person, do you have the eyes of a Cat? Or is it you are so lovely the birds insist on a lock of your hair? |
from im2evil4u : |
In fact, I did figure it out - after three hours of tearing my hair out. Those marks you see on the dresser are morse code. You need to translate it for the password. |
from arc-angel666 : |
Hello: I was reading Ms.Do saw your screenname and thought...I should find out what a Nerddette is. I looked for a common ground shared by an arc-angel and a nerdette. What I found was.......... ......an interesting Woman giving up Sex and who is attack daily by a Maggpie. Common Ground you ask? Well, the sex thing doesn't apply in this case, but I am acosted on a regular basis by a herd of Insane Squirrels. I made the mistake of feeding them for about 4 days where I run. Now when spotted they give chase lol. I fed a Seal (a pup) that lived under my house (I live at the beach). I thought it had been abandoned, but thought I'd wait a day or two before calling for help from the critter rescue folks. I got some bait fish, squid and milk moush it all together in a huge bowl and set it out for the little guy...he woofed it down and on the third day would come within 3 feet of me and rock back and forth Sorry I am turning this into a novel here, pardon my manners my name is Michael and its nice to meet you. |

As you may know, I am in a big military town. There are lots of good things going on in Iraq that the press won't publish. Some friends have been emailing me with stuff like that, pictures and stories and such. Why do they (the press) always sensationalize? |

I went back into the edit entries and listed the last 50 and i just copied and pasted them into word. So they aren't lost and that is great. 4/7/04: Thanks for the note. I agree with your entry today. It struck me as incredibly sad the other day when my co-worker got in to work, went into her office right next to mine, and instead of walking over the five feet to my door to say goodmorning, she instand messaged me instead. Egads. What are we coming to? Anyway, feel free to stop by any time. :) ~Jess. |

4/6/04: I'm not sure how I found you. Maybe it was through fluidlife? Anyway, I'm glad that I did. I enjoy reading what you have to write. So much so that I added you to my favorites list. Just thought I'd let you know. |
from fluidlife : |
You're right, I have been extremely busy. Too busy even to read the diaries on my favorites list (sorry!), but I am beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. The software releases in a week, so my life should be on a more even keel very soon. Thanks for thinking of me and thanks for recommending The Bride Stripped Bare. I went straight to amazon.com to read more about it. You are right, it sounds exactly like the kind of book I would like to read. In fact, I may run down to the bookstore on my lunch hour to see if I can find a copy. It will give me something to look forward to when I get my life back! |

sorry it has taken me so long to say thank you for your kind words in my guestbook. i would think about it and then my mind would focus on something completely separate from that and i'd forget. there's that wretched add showing its face. anyway, the point is, thank you very much. |
