Seriously? I LOVE me some mmmbop! I actually own the album and used to listen to it with incredible frequency.
from bonkrood :
Good to know you're still around.
from bonkrood :
My best friend's mom has a bunch of chickens so I get eggs off them. Guilt-free eggs! My mom used to have a guy deliver 5 dozen eggs off his farm every two weeks when we lived in Idaho. My god, that is a lot of eggs.
from krazieespy :
sorry about your grandma. Congrats on college.. Welcome back :)
from bonkrood :
Sorry to hear about your grandma. And I'm glad you're back.
from serenaville :
Condolences on your grandmother's passing, hon. Not to rudely breakneck segue, but happy belated birthday, as well. It is good to see your name lit up again. It's also good to read that J. moved in. Happy New Year, Fujiko... looking forward to reading more from you as it wears on! *HUGS*

from ducky-girl :
I just caught a cold too. As of last night. It sucks. It's one of the ones where you don't have many symptoms except that you can't help but sound like rudolf in that old animated christmas special. I will be chronically impersonating for at least a week. Hope you feel better.
from thirdeye7601 :
HA! I am exactly the same way. I put everything off til the last minute, and then when I am done, I dont' feel that sense of accomplishment. I totally understand where you're coming from.
from krazieespy :
I know it disgust me too to think we are a bunch of CLOSED MINDED FUCKS it annoys me.. It frustrates me on how we NORTH DAKOTANS can decided wheter or not two men get married doesnt that seem fucked up? Yeah it does to me too!
from ducky-girl :
agreed, to all of the 'appalled and disgusted' entry. hats off, and case closed.
from krazieespy :
Thank you for voicing UR opinion on voting NO for measure one.. I love it.. :)

from ducky-girl :
congratulations on your wedding date. =) and thanks for the flowers. hehe.
from serenaville :
"See you in December." Gads, that clenched me. You have my every sympathy, hon. I just hope you won't 'keep it inside' for very long, now that you are home. You're both firmly in my thoughts. *Hugs*
from serenaville :
*Leaving huge hugs for you* Damn, hon. My heart goes out to you, and your grandmother especially. Carpe diem, for sure. Man.
from krazieespy :
Whats most important is spend time with her before she is gone. I have lost two very important people in my life and I wish I could have had more time with them. So I hope your remember how much grandmas are special :) Night Luv!
from serenaville :
It's called denial, hon. A very real and normal reaction, considering what you're up against. It's too much for you to handle right now, so coping mechanism it is, until you can 'deal' with the situation better. Grief has many stages. Get through them as slow as you need to, but don't 'stuff things down'. That's unwise and unhealthy. Of course, I might be preaching to the choir, here. I'm very sorry for what you and your grandmother are going through. Give a holler, if you need an ear. *HUGS!!!*
from krazieespy :
I love the layout. catching up on some reads since I was gone for week. :)
from krazieespy :
thanks for the note :) HEy quick question were you in the store tonight(8-30) with your fianc?
from serenaville :
Wow! New layout, very cool. Many congratulations on setting the date, hon! Ten months isn't a lot of time, but trust that things have ways of working out in the end. And? We were married in a non-denom church, which worked out great! Best luck, always. *HUGS*
from krazieespy :
congrats on setting the date... :)
from krazieespy :
AWWWW. I just noticed you changed my comment.. That cheered me up while I'm at boring work, and I'm going insane :\ Thanks Again!
from krazieespy :

from krazieespy :
OMG. Im so happy for you. That is be coolest thing ever. I have goose bumps and im not even the one getting married. I'm so happy for you :) CONGRATS!
from veryunspiffy :
Ohmigod ohmigod ohmigod!!! I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU ^^ !!
from krazieespy :
Hey I hope your feeling better and you got some decent sleep the other night. Take Care :)
from krazieespy :
OMG. I was totally just lazy that day.. YOU SHOULD HAVE INTRODUCED YOUR SELF! I'm just never paying attention on days I work. HA HA. I'm sorry. I didnt recognize ya, I dont know if I have even seen a picture of you... I was also watching the new paris hilton video that day too.. OOooo I'm upset now that I didnt recognize ya. Hey feel free to visit me anytime.
from krazieespy :
Thank you for the comment. I sometimes feel that way too, I'm better when Im with people yet when Im alone, I feel the realization take place. Its scares me. I hope things go well for you this summer and if you ever feel like meeting a d-land person to just chat, or anything. I'm always up for a few more friends :)

WTF?
from jcesar :
My heart is beating fast; I might die tonight with no pain I have accomplished to cry through my sweat. Love

I saw Grease on VH1 just last night, (4/23) AND THAT EXACT SAME THOUGHT went through my head, during the dance-off contest!! I said "Willing suspension of disbelief must be the key, here", to myself. Wow, coincidental! As for your frame of mind, ups and downs are so expected in your case, with so much changing dramatically in terms of your relationships. However, I pray those "thoughts" firmly remain thoughts. If you ever remotely consider putting them into action, you e-mail me first. I'll happily meet you on chat or IM to talk. *HUGS!!!*
from krazieespy :
The card was BEAUTIFUL. I loved it. I wish I had a boyfriend who was thoughtful like that... I hope things work out for you two! I really do
from serenaville :
Oh, Fujiko. *Long, tight, warm hug* Is it at all possible for you to take the summer semester "off", to spend the time with J. where he interns? Or is that far too facetious a thought? It wrenches me to think of you being so unhappy. You've been such a light to me, I only wish I could somehow help you now. Favors are for returning. I'm here if you need me, just shout. *More hugs*
from krazieespy :
canada sounds good. I need a "mini break" too! Cheer up. Its nice outside
from veryunspiffy :
Hmm. I was reading your profile and you said God was the 'best-selling author of all time.' >shrug< God didn't write the Bible. Humans did. The Bible is made up of their accounts of God, Jesus, and predictions about said holy beings. >another shrug< That's why the Bible might not be so accurate: everyone has different opinions on things. John's Gospels vary from Mark's, from Matthews, from Luke's... Then all the other things in there... Yeah. I'm not blaspheming or anything, but I think you should change it.
from serenaville :
I knew. You often have that same effect on me. *HUGS!!!!* ;)
from serenaville :
I don't believe the theory about the meat, either. J's explanation could well be plausible, who knows, but it just doesn't negate the fact that iridescent meat Is All Kinds of WRONG. None shall pass these lips, I'm here to tell you! Bleah.
from serenaville :
I once purchased this brand of pre-sliced, pre-cook pot roast that all one needs do is heat it in the oven for four minutes, plate, and serve. Only... it was iridescent on exit from the package, as you described the beef in the lunchroom to be. My stomach just churned, as I promptly threw the entire thing into the trash. I didn't want to know what all that green, purple and gold coloring on the meat would do to me and my family. Guh. I hope you didn't eat it. :X
from serenaville :
That Ann Geddes picture is breathtaking. It truly IS worth a thousand words. The image evokes so many thoughts and impressions. Gorgeous. A true testament to just how much art can impact our lives. I shudder to think where I'd be, without art/music/literature. Those true artists who make it, SHOULD be revered by those of us who enjoy it. Thank you for posting it. Okay, enough effusing. And this time... no back button! :D *HUGS*
from serenaville :
*sigh* Never use the "Back" button to exit Notes. Sorry about that. Still, I got to taunt you twice. :P
from serenaville :
I'll take that bet! Not because I don't believe it. I'm just a sucker for making friendly, random bets that strike my fancy... like this one. Name the terms, sucka. YOU ARE GOING DOWNNNNNNNNN. *snrk* :D

from serenaville :
No need to name what you can do for me, you just did it, sweet. *HUGS back tightly* Thank you, Fujiko. You never fail to warm my heart. No worries, though... I can guarantee that I'll be fine. Honest. *Reassuring smile*
from serenaville :
*HUGS* for you. Hope your mood passes soon. :/ I, too, adore wearing Mook's clothes when he is out of town. It makes me feel oddly 'closer' to him, especially if it still has his lingering scent. Love that!! By the way, thank you for posting that link to Steve's blog!! I'm not sure if I am frightened by his apparent singing career post-Blues Clues, or not. It can't be any worse than his successor Joe's singing, at the least. Merciful heavens, that man couldn't carry a tune with a crane! Very interesting reading... not to mention, Steve's quite the hottie out of his television persona. You know, I can't believe I've spent this much time musing on this topic. The mother in this one is too strong, for sure. GUH. :/
from krazieespy :
Yes, I live in fargo too.. I just had to use her as a banner because for some reason this story is just too familiar for me.. Thank you for the beautiful note...
from serenaville :
OH, hon. How I can relate to hair-raising tale like that. (*ahem*) Me. Demi Moore-circa-Ghost pixie cut. Looked like a GUY for years til it grew out. Cried oceans. If it's any consolation, I adored those cute drawings you did to illustrate your entry!! Take heart, hats are tres au courant this spring. Starting now. Who needs Glamour, when you've got serena, right?? Heh. *HUGS*
from veryunspiffy :
South of LA! Y'know the movie Valley Girl? Yup... I'm from the San Fernando Valley. I swear, it was about 65 degrees earlier today, so, of course, it was already hot. Add my extreme WHITENESS (insert many exclamation points here), and you have lobster-ry lobster Asian chick.
from serenaville :
*HUGS* Oh, Fujiko. :( Here I have been, celebrating the return of my family member, when your family is moving so far away. My goodness. I don't know what else I can say, except that I can relate to what you are experiencing, in my own way. I think we all go through periods of torpor, malaise or apathy. The difference, is in the duration and/or frequency of the bouts of whatever circumstance is at hand. I hope that if this bout continues too much longer, you will reach out to someone in position to help you through. Not necessarily a professional, even family or friends. Know that you have my concern, support, best wishes, and prayers that "This too, shall pass."

I -just- read your new comment for my diary, and it choked me up!! I still have that squeeze-y feeling in my chest and throat, and am threatening to well up. Before I sap all over you worse than this, please know your comment means the world to me! Thank you, Fujiko, so much. *HUGS* :D
from serenaville :
Thank you for the link, and the kind words... both here, and in my comments. Sometimes, the best (And cheapest...) therapy is chatting with buddies, and culling from their experience. My chat room door is always open to you, if you ever have interest or need. I'm also as close as e-mail. Might not be able to help with *everything*, but could possibly chip away at what there is. Offer stands. So glad that all is happily ever after. You will keep it that way. *long, warm hug*
from serenaville :
Hi! I have a great big smile on, for noticing that my diary turned up in a Google search for "nevr-perfect"! You have an admirer, my dear! As for things between you and J., trust me when I say: There is no storm that can't be weathered, through complete honesty and communication, communication, communication. If there's been any concrete proof of that in my life, it has dropped on me today. I know you didn't ask for advice, and I originally came only to tell you about the Googling, but I felt compelled to give it for the 'mother hen' instinct kicking into high gear. Sorry. It's just an involuntary response anymore. :/
from serenaville :
Thank you for your supportive comment! It helps quite a bit, so cheering. :) The positive thoughts are much needed, as things will no doubt continue to be arduous clear through June! lol I'm blessed to have so many wonderful readers, and buddies on my list. Appreciated! :)
from serenaville :
Thank you very much for the flowers! Quite a pleasant surprise, as was your nod to me and my space. That will have me smiling for a bit, trust me on that. Appreciated! :)
from serenaville :
*laughing merrily* I do indeed get the picture, and you are of course most welcome. Thank you in return, for your kind words. I'm gratified that I can have that effect on someone. I very much appreciate the note in return!
from serenaville :
Congrats on the co-habitation plans!! Always a heady and exciting 'milestone' decision in someone's life. From now 'til May should well prove a whirlwind of activity, in preparation. I wish you and J. all the best, as you take your relationship to this new level. Great good luck! :)
