inacrumbling here. came back to visit your diary, but it now requires a password to view. would love to continue reading if you'll let me. ~lib

"i'll come back when your happiness doesn't piss me off" is a really great line.
from redsilk :
You write extremely well! If your acting and/or singing abilities match the quality of your writing, you may yet fulfil your dreams. I certainly hope so. Take care. xx

from raven72d :
every life is its own net of stories... i hope you will write again here...
from raven72d :
where have you been?
from pondlife :
Not gone, not completely. Traveling, lots of it. Back and forth between here and England, raising children (and eyebrows) on as many continents as possible :)

from raven72d :
hope things are going well.
from pondlife :
I'm online so infrequently that there's always quite a lot to catch up on. Having read all your recent posts, here are my unsolicited, but hopefully welcomed observations. All of the pictures you posted are amazing, and the little girl is stunningly beautiful, just like her mother. And regarding spirituality, I too have wondered why believers of "something bigger than us" find it necessary to attach doctrine to something that should just simply be experienced and honoured- in whatever way feels correct to the individual. So, thanks you for expressing that. Hope your review went well.
from outer-jessie :
And I was really enjoying the story...did you ever end up finishing it?
from outer-jessie :
So glad I found you! It was definitely not a mistake...I'm up through March of 2004.
from pondlife :
Thank you. Pictures for words. The general idea is conveyed one way or the other.
from pondlife :
Mia darling, all nite diners are notoriously filthy. But fogging up the windows of my silver '09 Jaguar XF parked outside of the all nite diner, now that has appeal.
from pondlife :
Glad then. Unfortunately for me there's probably more in the post- I'm nowhere near rock bottom until I start quoting Morrissey in all night diners to women who's names I can't recall.
from pondlife :
I'm crap at recognising sarcasm, soooo...thanks? I think.
from raven72d :

depending on what one desired, i could be pressed to make a template for them, provided i could get someone to code it for me. also note that the muse is fickle and may not agree with your direction. however, we would endeavor to do our best to create something that is pleasing to your eye. (in simple terms that's a yes, i can do something for you) however, i'm still in the process of moving and may require a few weeks startup time.

I'm interested in reading your diary still :)
from pondlife :
Mia darling, so glad you noted. I'm not sure when my insanely jealous, half-Brazilian (and then quite pregnant) fiance took your address from my wallet, but much shouting and flailing of arms and fists ensued and in an act of self preservation I told her to keep it until she came to her senses. That's when the coffee table book on Tiffany's glasswork missed my head by mere inches. She's a lovely girl, really. Glad you enjoyed the video, I've liked Placebo forever. And the skirt-wearing lipstick boy who sings is quite remarkable as well. Miss talking to you.
from throwingjuly :
if it wasn't absolutely useless, i'd try to sympathize. instead i'll say good luck in figuring everything out, and my best wishes are with you.
from reikihealing :
Hi, I've just started this website for a Reiki healing group I know personally, but the site it welcome to all who practice or are interested in Reiki. Based on you being a member on the Reiki diaryring, I thought you would be interested. I only just set up the site, so there isn't much to see yet, but a newsletter, symbol pictures and descriptions, and such are all soon to come. The site will be public, anyone will be able to post to it with their experences, advice, questions, pictures, and bio-pages for members. Leave me a note if you're interested or to decline this invitation. ~Phoenix
from xradiox :
When I was 18, I had an abortion. I was 6 weeks pregnant and they made me sign a paper that said that the doctor might not get all the "pregnancy tissue" and that I might have to do it again. Two weeks later, I went back for the check-up and of course, despite the fact that it only happens to 1% of people, the worst had happened and I had to do it again. The doctor's office was so inept that they failed to explain to me that what I was having the second time was a d&c. They failed to tell me that you're supposed to be put to sleep for this operation. I thought I was just having the same thing over again. And my guilt led me to wish to stay awake. I guess I thought that I deserved the pain, deserved to feel everything that went along with it, because it was my fault or something. So I did. When I went back for my next 2 week check-up, the nurse was astounded. She told me that she'd never heard of someone staying awake for a d&c. I, at 18, wasn't very fond of standing up for myself, so I kept inside the anger I felt at the doctors and nurses there for failing to tell me any of this. It was one of the most physically and mentally painful experiences of my life. I'm sorry you have to go through the same thing. I don't know why I'm telling you this. I guess it would've made me feel better if I'd known someone who had gone through something similar. So I think that maybe you might feel the same way. Again, I'm sorry you have to deal with this. And I hope that you don't feel so alone. And that everything turns out okay for you.
from dinosaurorgy :
How did you get fired from your job? (Good luck with the new baby!)
from pondlife :
No idea how you got dropped but I was thinking today that it's been a while since you updated, so I went to look and you just weren't there. Anyway, you're back now. You've moved? All the way to another coast. How's that working?
from sutaka :
You're quite welcome, I've enjoyed reading some of your rather interesting entries. :)

Because I'm lying to myself, throwing out a few cryptic passages sprinkled with pretty imagery when what I really need is honesty, no matter how repugnant it may be. The pages on which I put actual pen to paper (a tangible ledger of offenses) spell out every flaw in painful detail. I imagine the thing spontaneously combusting when I die. But that's unlikely.

I remain terrified of being seen in the flesh. But I *always* smell good. And I've let most of my life evaporate because I've been afraid that someone would (1) make fun of me or (2) question me about what I was doing. I've given up lots of things-- including relationships or chances to travel --because family would've asked me about what I was doing.
from watercolored :
futureceo and I were recently discussing how bizarre the searches are that bring unsuspecting readers our way. I'm sure you're not a cum guzzling whore, but some porn fiend sure wishes you were. Thanks for the capy info.
from wilberteets :
That "ode to cheesy and poof" was perfect! Obviously, you've smelled the ass of rodent and experienced the night time annoyances. Funny!!
from watercolored :
I'd like those links to capybara sites if you care to share, especially the one with sound. Embarrassingly enough I know quite a lot about that particular animal and have even traveled just to see one.
from incinerated :
Thank you so, so, much. That truly meant a lot to me. I'm sure Kevin will appreciate it as well.
from raven72d :
I'll be most honored to have you reading along. And I'll be reading with you along as well.

no its just that you have some indie bands and the beatles listed and he was inspired by the beatles, Elliott Smith in my opionion is (was) the greatest musician ever. Check some of his stuff out if you have the chance. Its sad shit. He is on Kill rock Stars, Anti, Dreamworks. -BeXx

hehe. you are only as old as you feel, right? i'm quite the boring kid. the writing i usually do in my other journal is sometimes better, but only because i throw things i am really upset about currently in this journal, and i think it through before writing in the other one. yaaay.

don't feel bad honey. we all have those days when we just can't take it. i have moments when lillie does idiotic things like shove her toys at me really hard when i have a cup of coffee or something and i take the toy and hurl it across the room and scream at her. then she runs to daddy or whoever else and i feel like shit. and i can't imagine what it's like doing it alone. i had those sleepless days early one where i would just loose it. it happens to the best of us and it doesn't make you a bad mother.
from rubycoquette :
want to read it? go ahead, i abiloshed locks this week.

from irishblueyes :
Thank you, thank you for loving the layout!
from incinerated :
I sometimes let the 'whatever' in me go too far at times as well. I think you know what you're doing though, I have no doubt that you do. Nicely put by the way as I never really thought of it that way. The 'whatever' in us all.
from soror :
You have a lovely daughter! :)
from throwingjuly :
you should read anne sexton. if sylvia plath, alan ginsburg and aime cesaire had a three-way and a love child resulted from it, anne sexton would be that child. only, she was born about the same time as all of them, so they would have had to get it on mighty early in life...
from irishblueyes :
Oh...baby moments are so great. Tonight at dinner while mine was pulling the barrette out of her hair as she always does, my mom was joking with her saying she looked sexy with her all across her eye. My dad said - don't say that then she'll be saying i'm sexy...and damned if she didn't say it too! She's such an actress, anything for a laugh.
from incinerated :

from incinerated :
Ah, thank you. For both the kind words and the addition to your favourites list. I apologize for the generic comment, but I always feel it customary to show my appreciation. I must click my way over to your little spot now and browse through your diary while finishing up my breakfast. :)
from moonshine76 :
Thanks for the nice words you left in my book and for adding me to your favourites. The layout of yours is the nicest I've seen in a long time. Happiness is a warm gun just happens to be one of my favourite songs too. I'll peak around again really soon. =)

from irishblueyes :
It is weird to have that fear even though it's something that I so desperately want. Maybe that's why, because I want it so much I am afraid to get my hopes up too high. But I hope you're right and everything does work out for the best. I know the people around me who support me will be behind me no matter what which is a big help! ♥
from inacrumbling :
glad to hear that you've finally finished the move :) hope everything goes well ... a friend of mine is also in the process of moving his stuff across town into his posh new apartment above the local (in fact, the only) coffeehouse in town ... oh, and ... candied yams :)
from irishblueyes :
It sounds beautiful! I'm so happy for you!
from irishblueyes :
Glad it's going well, hope it continues to do so! ♥
from dlpochacco :
Hey! thanks for the messege. I am having trouble with html. I got a template from a designer... so I dont know how to fix it.. if you can help me .. it would be really great :). I've tried to contact the person who designed my template and they haven't written back
from thefallofart :

from inacrumbling :
*blush* i actually kind of like the text myself ... is that okay? maybe it's my use of so many ellipses and hypens. i expect a full change of template soon, anyway, so you wouldn't have to put up with it MUCH longer :)
from inacrumbling :
thanks for adding me to your buddylist! :) i'm not sure how to change the font in my diary without changing the template altogether ... i'll figure something out ...
from irishblueyes :
I'm so glad to hear things are going well. And I can relate, we are outta here in just 3 weeks now! I can't believe it, I am just hoping the time doesn't start dragging soon!
from frozen-vodka :
Aw, thank you. I'm flattered by the comment you made about me in your buddy list.
from irishblueyes :
I'm sorry to hear that someone would do that, that's crazy. But I am excited for you and this potential relationship! So, running really works, huh? Were you a runner before or did you just start this recently? I have never thought I could run, but I guess it takes time to build up to being able to do it correctly. Anyway, glad things are looking up! ~ Kris
from thefallofart :
yeah, the first thing i said to him when we came down was, "you can never get high again". thanks for your concern though, i appreciate it <3
from thefallofart :
yeah you read it right. the only thing is... we were both really high and he's one of my really good friends, and he was in total shock when he came down, and didn't even remember most of it. so i would feel really bad if i told someone. plus, his girlfriend and him have been together for two years and i know her, and she's a really sweet girl, and i don't want to wreck what they have.
from xkiwilicious :
thanks for signing my guestbook thanking me for joining your ring. you're very considerate. thank you!
from irishblueyes :
No worries it was not a weird note at all. That's terrible about your parents. We don't have that problem, ours is just that we are scared shitless of having another child right now. But we'll get past it, I'm sure. And thank you for the last note as well...I'll be sending good vibes your way with your friend coming soon, I hope you guys find the spark too! ♥
from arabella87 :
cheers chuck. unfortunately looks like i f*cked everything up already :(
from irishblueyes :
Definitely kismet! Yeah I would start a ring if I knew what the hell to call it...do you have a livejournal diary too? I have one but never use it, I just signed up when they started being free withou a referral. Anyway, I've been thinking about using it again. But I don't know anything about starting communities, do you? If so, I would definitely be interested in starting one...if we could just invite or allow the people we wanted in it of course! I'll check it out and let me know if you have any more ideas. Oh and I hope you have a good time with your new friend if and when they come to visit ;)
from wilberteets :
Um.. I meant to type "Victorian" but I went all stupid and put vixtorian. Duuur
from wilberteets :
That was Eureka Springs, Arkansas. It's a vixtorian village and an artist's colony. There are a lot of great people who live there. I love to go there and visit. People from all over the country visit there and the locals are people who have moved there from someplace else, so it's very unique with influences from everywhere. We stayed at Edgewood Manor. It has 4 suites, but the one we stayed in is called the Vintage Suite. It's the biggest and fanciest of the 4 suites. If you visit Eureka Springs, contact the Chamber of Commerce there and ask for a visitor's guide. It's a magazine that has all kinds of info about what there is to see and do. You can order it online. I'm going up again, probably this fall, to stay at the Crescent. I'm going ghostie hunting.
from irishblueyes :
You're exactly right, we should definately start a club or something. It's amazing to know that I am not the only one who is like this. I guess it just has something to do with living in this military community where no one is an individual in any way. We sort of feel like outsiders here, but we're used to it. On some level I guess we've always been the outsider types! I think maybe I'll start a diaryring..at the very least.
from irishblueyes :
Oh god you're so right! Mine's not old enough for playdough yet, but we have the odd dried up sticky banana on occassion and the floor board in the backseat of our car is pretty much covered in french fries and goldfish crackers (which i made the mistake of giving her the whole bag of once...and of course she dumped them right out) don't even get me started on the state of complete filth that her high chair stays in most all of the time!
from silveringrid :
i made a wish on a firefly that your summer will be beautiful!
from wilberteets :
Your note cracked me up. Now I shall have to read your diary. I noticed that you have me in your faves list, but you spelled wilberteets with a "u" in wilber instead of an e. If you change it, the link will show up.
from the-pala :
yep, all three are me. the main picture is me outside snapping a photo of my friends in a livingroom but because it was taken through a glass door, it also caught the reflection of their backyard behind me. i'm most proud of how that turned out - because i'm a big dork!
from irish-jack :
thanks for the message...i'll figure things out this weekend. rock.

Hey, so glad you liked the Asbury Park stuff...it really is an amazing place. And yeah there is still some of that tile floor there. I didn't even realize what it was until afterwards when I started looking stuff up online about it and then I figured it out. I was telling husband about the tile, cause he didn't see it, ... really weird...but the words, the plaza name in tile isn't there any more. I think for your icon for the ring you should think about using a pic of Tillie...If I can make a small one, I'll send it to you!
from arabella87 :
hi. yay thankyou :) i love your diary. so i added you back. ohyesidid.
from o-twinkle-o :

from irishblueyes :
Yeah I'm still hanging on to my old high school teeny-tiny jeans too! Maybe at this point I'm hanging on just to prove it to myself that I WAS ever that small and not with actual hopes of fitting back into them! Thank you for your note. It means a lot that I'm not the only one! ~ Kristina

Adbusters magazine, #51, vol.12 no.1, Jan/Feb 2004. definitly worth checking out.
from irishblueyes :
I promise to get into the whole weekend fiasco tomorrow. It probably wasn't as bad as I made it out to be...basically another one of my quite regular nights when I end up keeping my husband awake until 2am crying and talking about how I either a) don't know what I'm doing with my life or b) am completely frustrated and depressed about the fact that I feel I will never manage to lose the last of my pregnancy weight (a whopping 20 months later) and therefore hate myself and how much that is effecting every aspect of my life right now....this time it was b. But I promise to expound on that tomorrow, I just have to get my head together and figure out what I really have to say about it. But thanks for being interested and concerned! :) Kristina
from lomelinde :
Thank you for leaving me a note. :) I just sat here for a long while and read and read. I don't write at diaryland too much anymore but I'll be coming back to read, and often. You have such a beautiful way with words.
from whitekachina :
yeah, I'm kind of illiterate in the fine art of computer crap. It took me long enough just to post them. thank you for the kind words, darlin'. exoh.
from jbehrsgurl :
omg where have i BEEN?! i love thsi layout girl! lol
from irishblueyes :
Your welcome about the notes. And that's cool, if you've found a design you want to stick with - great! But if you still want me to work on something for you, I'd be more than happy to. I know sometimes it sucks waiting, and I'm not the fastest in getting them done!
from irishblueyes :
You're daughter is so beautiful! Oh my goodness what a doll!
from irishblueyes :
That was such a wonderfully beautiful entry...sadly touching and wonderful! You are such a skilled writer!
from irishblueyes :
No, it doesn't make you obsessed. Or even if it does, it's not a bad thing! I am loving it more and more too, especially the "Dandelions in bullet holes" song. It's my favorite so far. I'm sure it will be the same as with her first album where my favorite song changed week to week. The funny thing was I got that album while living in Washington state and I know she's Canadian, and it so represented that part of the world to me, the pacific northwest/british columbia type of nature I guess. It's hard to explain, but it still reminds me of that place, which is wonderful. Oh, and sorry about the picture...you can look at mine if it helps, they're under cover art in the liner notes!

from throwingjuly :
could you please tell me what it's all about then? i'm horribly confused...
from irishblueyes :
beautiful picture. can i just tell you that you have the most perfect hair ever?
from irishblueyes :
hey. sorry to hear about your easter. I know I personally can't stand formal holiday type things with the baby, it's like the older family members just have no recollection of what it was like to have a toddler. Oh, and I'd be happy to get started on your layout. I'm working on another one right now, but it's almost done, and no one pays attention to the order I do them in anyway. I'd prefer to do the ones for people I talk with regularly than the more anonymous ones first anyway. So, I think I already have some of the pictures you wanted. Did you still want the poem incorporated? You can drop me an email and let me know. =)Kris
from irishblueyes :
Oh god, don't you hate that crap? I saw one of those famous face shows on MTV and started out pleasantly surprised because the girl said she wanted to look like Kate Winslet, who's considered fat by hollywood standards, and she was just getting body work done, not her face. But then she was getting these pictures taken and said that she was a size 10 and that was still plus size! In what universe is a 10 plus size? Although I saw this thing on the news the other night about something called "vanity sizing" basically expensive stores cut things bigger so if you're normally a 10 say, you might fit into an 8 or smaller. And at cheaper stores it's almost the reverse. I think this means I should start shopping at more expensive stores. Perhaps I'd be like 6 if I spent more money! =)
from irishblueyes :
Oh, by the way I saw you've been listening to the new Sarah Harmer album, isn't it good? I heard songs from her last album while living in Washington where I only got Canadian radio and bought it online from a canadian bookstore sight and just adored it. I wish everyone knew about her, she's fantastic!
from irishblueyes :
I'm glad you liked the entry...it was frustrating at the time, but I admit very amusing to write about afterwards...I hoped everyone would get a good laugh out of it.
from foolish-boy :
ah, you with your modern technology. '98 has it just fine. resize the window and it rocks muchly. i love the gorgeous things
from therat :
no, i won't be angry, if you can explain to me how you know my writing isn't pure, when i'm the person writing them; when you hardly know me at all, except for what i put out for you to read and see.
from r-e-v-i-e-w :
your review is up! nice job.
from irishblueyes :
I can relate. I struggle with whether or not going back to school will be best for my daughter. But in the end I know it will be the best for everyone. Because for me going to school means taking care of myself, and I know if I can do that, I will be able to take better care of her as well.
from irishblueyes :
I'm so sorry about your landlord...that's so fucked up! Life is hard enough with a young child (mine is 18 months) without having to deal with that sort of bullshit! ~ Kristina
from xradiox :
I'm not sure what name shows up. Probably Rachel or something like that. The address is [email protected]. I'll send it again tomorrow.
from throwingjuly :
thank you very much; it's always nice to hear those things from people who write well themselves. p.s. you're absolutely right about poetry.com being bullshit on a stick.
from xradiox :
Did you get the email, or am I being technologically incompetent again?
from xradiox :
Hey, if you really want to know the details, I can just send you an email. I'm pretty much a night owl, so I don't know if I'd run into you on AIM at all.
from irishblueyes :
Hi. I would be happy to work on a custom for you. I currently have 4 people waiting for layouts, so it shouldn't be too long of a wait. Just drop me an email whenever and let me know what your ideas are. And I'll put you on the list. Thanks for the request~ Kristina
from silveringrid :
what a wonderful layout. that quote is one of my favorites from e.e. cummings. "for only Nobody knows/ where truth grows why/birds fly and/especially who the moon is" - another favorite.
from irishblueyes :
Thank you for the compliment on the layout...it is much appreciated. Possibly even more so than for my writing since I taught myslef the html and I never really "learned" how to write. thanks for reading.
from blackkachina :
this one's kind of the shitty, ranty, only-write-when-I'm-depressed one, but if you insist. user:star pass:fucker .xo
from wonderchai :
you are freaking adorable. :)
from jbehrsgurl :
God answers us when we pray hard enough. He's done it for me plenty of times, glad he's touched you too! ;)
from thefallofart :
thank you very much. you are kind.
from silveringrid :
i feel so lucky you signed my guestbook - your words are so eloquently beautiful. and i listened to "the blower's daughter" on repeat last night before falling asleep - made my stomach jump to see the words on your page.
from throwingjuly :
sure, i'm game...
from xradiox :
That was an excellent interview. But I didn't think your answer to the job question was weird. I want to live in a house on the beach in Mexico, and sit around with a few friends every night and have a bonfire and play acoustic guitar. Mind you, I don't play guitar, but that's what I want to do.
from throwingjuly :
nevermind. my answers to those questions were kind of uninspired. sorry.
from throwingjuly :
i wanna be interviewed...and for you to be my new best friend. anyway...thanks for the note.
from fight-club16 :
hey thanks for getting ahold of me. first, we don't grade on whether or not we would come back, so that shouldn't be a problem. second of all, as far as your journal and the topics in it, I've reviewed over 300 journals, and I can assure you I will go in open-minded. I may comment on it, but I'll focus more on things like character interactions, your voice in the writing and things like that. No fear :) it'll be up soon.
from pink-blondie :
You go twinkle! Fuck those overzealous pigs! Half the men who become cops have control issues in the first place. That's why they become cops, you know. It puts them into a position of authority where they have all the control and you have none. Fuck them. -- Blondie
from xradiox :
Okay. Here goes. 1)What do you consider your biggest accomplishment in life so far? 2)What is your favorite quality about yourself? 3)If you could be doing any job in the world, what would it be and why? 4)When your child grows up, what do you want her to be like? 5)If you could change one thing about your life, past or present, what would it be and why?
from whitekachina :
and thank you for the comment, twinkle-child. Your writing is rather... intoxicating vicious beautiful am.azing... xo (blushes) xo
from blackkachina :
I don't write here much anymore, since exiting the realms of suicidal depression, but for you darling, user: star, pass: fucker. xo
from pink-blondie :
I'm doing okay...thank you for asking! To know that you care put a smile on my face. One day, I might explain what that was all about. Maybe even tomorrow. :) Thanks again.
from aleesha713 :
hey thanks for stopping by! yes mine is mainly sandman inspired but the title is an AFI song... by the way i LOVE your writing (i dont care what diaryreviews says!) keep up the great work =)
from lint018 :
To avoid confusion, this is xRADIOx, on my other diary. And I'm dumb, so I posted the other note under this name.
from lint018 :
Thanks for the note. It made me smile.
from xradiox :
Hello. I found your diary at random, and I can't believe the diary review people thought it was boring. It's almost five in the morning, and, despite the fact that my eyes are burning from tiredness, I literally couldn't stop reading. I read the whole thing. And it wasn't boring.
from seemysite :
You want a review? I am trying to get a review site up and running, so come on over and request! seemysite.diaryland.com
from superry :
You've been rocking long before diaryland, babe...you'll be rocking long after. Forget that review...she's not the goddess of diaryland. You've got the goods. NO CAST PAGE! Su and Hedley are above cast pages!
from o-twinkle-o :
ooh. thank you so much. what an awesome note!
from jbehrsgurl :
girl reviews are just one opinion from ONE person. If I let those shits get to me I'd be a massive ball of sad. Reviewers tend to hate me. But you know what? I know I must be doing SOMETHING right because last I checked I had a popular diary according to top100 @ diaryland. You are SO not dull, far from it. Don't let those poops get you down. You rock. ;)
from o-twinkle-o :
well then, buttonfaces. no cast list for you. yeeeehaaaww!
from pink-blondie :
Oh hurray! You finally got notes. Your guestbook was giving me hell everytime I tried to sign it. It's me btw, mysterious-l. I had to abandon that diary. I just wanted to let you know. :) And for the record, you are SO not dull. I find your diary to be interesting, the way you add a new part to a continuing story and the way that you word things that happen in your life and no, I don't think you need a cast page, especially if you don't want one. -- Miss L aka Blondie
from introibo :
i already told you. i hate reviews. you're the furthest thing from dull i've ever seen ... and if you ARE dull, then i'm not sure what shiny is.
from introibo :
i miss being in love with phantom, too. it was my first musical obsession. then my mother got into it, i saw the tour when it came to hartford, and hated it ever after.
from bluechicken :
how did you know about the pomegranates? i actually had one for breakfast, peeling it in my pomegranate nightgown - stained red and blue.
