Well, because I hated high school, and present company *not* included, so many people I know use it that way. for example- huge blow up this weekend in my family over a stupid, juvenile facebook post. And I eventually got dragged into it because my name was used! Personally, I don't need the drama. Plus, for this job, it's best I don't have one. They watch you.
from muffinhead :
I know I know! you want me on FB, but I must stand on principal here! and, you don't have to update or come here simply for my sake, I would understand. BTW, AZ didn't get a clue. Emailed me back. Sheesh. More on that later, but probably on my diary page! Ha!
from muffinhead :
I agree with you. That was my thought as well. Not only is he in a dark spot, but he wants to drag me in with him. I'm not sure I'm ready for any prince charming, even if i thought he did exist!
from muffinhead :
I see I am not the only one here that might miss you judging from your notes :-) I personally miss you here, I feel like I know nothing about what is going on with you all the time anymore!!! :-( Stupid facebook!!
from cocoabean :
glad to see you back!

http://www.sparkpeople.com/resource/calories_burned.asp I work out at a 15% incline. I usually do 4 miles.
from boxx9000 :
We have a GNC. Thanks. I'll try that type of B-12. I used to NEVER take vitamins and it's only been over the last year that I started taking them. Yesterday was the last of my CHEWABLES. Now I have a big container of "MATURE MULTI" (mature? hehehehe) from Costco.
from mzbee :
(aka BoXx) Vitamin B-12? Let me go check some labels. OK, I drink ONE diet Rock Star every day, it has 6mcg. I also take a Centrum (chewable, I'm such a baby) vitamin that has 6 mcg. My beloved strawberry Ensure's say they have 25% of the vitamin B-12 recommended daily allowance. I usually have one of those for breakfast and another for lunch. Together that is 250% of the daily recommended amount. As long as my body is absorbing it properly, I should be OK. No meat. No wheat. No dairy. No alcohol. I'm limiting my fat intake to under 27g. per day.
from boxx9000 :
My son is a Sagittarian. November 23rd. Kelly keeps joking that since she is not married and the baby is due near Christmas that she is going to name is Jesus. hehehe. She finds out today if it is a boy or a girl. I hope it is a girl.
from cwerner567 :
Hey, I tried to read your diary today and no such luck! Hope everything's okay!
from brightopal :
I got your password but missing user name - email to me please? Send to [email protected]
from ideaexpress :
nice to read your blog.
from brightopal :
Your comments weren't available today so I'm going to respond here. I tend to agree with you about not wanting to know a baby's gender, except for one thing. Some folks really can't afford to get baby things after the baby is born. Knowing ahead of time helps ensure you get ONLY what you need.
from boxx9000 :
(raises hand) sorry, that was MY anonymous note. I must have hit send *assuming* my info was already input. (you know what they say about assume, right?) I misunderstood what you were saying about your job and co-worker. I thought HE was getting MORE pay for the SAME job. I still think you should become a private baker/caterer of gourmet HEALTHY treats and you would make LOTS of money.
from janedoe0 :
Hi! You'll know me as SleepyJane - I've added you to my dland fav's so I can keep up with all of your entries. :)
from brightopal :
There was no comments link on your page - I wanted to say, no reason to apologize for being unhappy or angry. That's part of what a diary is about!!! *Hugs* You deserve to be acknowledged for your accomplishments, too. It sucks when you're not and you've got every reason to be unhappy about the fact. :(
from boxx9000 :
I don't know how to put the comments on my page. I'd ask my daughter, but she messed them up last time, remember? Do you know how to put them on the page the right way? Let me know, and I'll do it. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
from muffinhead :
Sorry we haven't talked hon, but I've been in a seriously anti-social mood the past coupld of weeks. Don't feel much like talkin, nothing major going on, it's just something I do, so don't worry about me. *hugs*

11-22-07 HAPPY (healthy) THANKSGIVING
from boxx9000 :
Thanks for that vegetarian link. I'm NOT a vegan, I eat dairy. I don't consume a LOT of dairy. I don't eat meat because I don't like the idea of killing animals. The dairy doesn't hurt animals does it? Dave makes the best omlettes, but other than that I don't think I eat any eggs. I have milk on my cereal. I LOVE cheese. I don't think I could give up cheese. String cheese and brie are my two faves.
from muffinhead :
Hi sweets, I should have plenty of time this weekend to chat with ya. Hope you are well hon. *hugggsss*
from muffinhead :
lol. Silly girl. Those times are great for jogging, I'm talkin full on run as if somebody's chasing you run. It hurts like a mo fo too. Actually, ran another mile today and didn't hurt as much, but my ankle feels a bit funny. (grr) Its the upper body weight training that's kicking my ass!
from muffinhead :
I love ya girl. Sorry we've kinda lost touch lately. Since you're not gonna be writing I'll make a concerted effort this weekend to give you a call if you don't mind. *hugs*
from miame :
Thanks for the info. I don't believe I could get my husband to do anything with the word Vegetarian. I'll keep working on him though! I'll definitely be getting with you for recipes!
from yarnsmith :
Hi ya...thanks for your note and all your suggestions. I did know about the high fructose corn syrup...actually that is how I started...it was the first thing I started screening for. I am finding alot of what I need at Trader Joes. I am not a vegetarian and don't see myself going that route at least right now, but perhaps my habits will lead me in that direction. One thing I am having trouble with is I don't have time to cook. I work 11 or 12 hours per day and have an hours each way commute...What I eat has to be something I can throw in a bad and eat on the fly or nuke as soon as I walk in the door. I eat really simply and have traded in bags of chips from the work vending machine for a Pear. My mid morning snack when I am really really hungry is about 15 walnut halves and a clementine orange...afternoon snack is about 10 almonds and 1/2 ounce of cheese. I do Ok for dinner as long as I keep it simply but unfortunately the temtation to do fast food comes a couple times per week. My next habit will be to trade in Taco Bell for Subway in cases where I just HAVE to bring something home. But I will do all this slowly....one day and one habit at a time, other wise I will get overwhelmed and it won't work. Hey...can I ride you shooting star sometime?
from poolagirl :
Hey you! A lot of your links and graphics are gone from your page - hence this note. Just write about Jesus and Mary Magdalene. Your comments will scream!
from chaosdaily :
how about some juicy work stories?? everyone likes those!
from muffinhead :
Hiya sweetie. Well, I won't be getting whatever it is you sent until I get back to the property on saturday morning. That is, if whatever it is - is still there when I get back! A lesson in honesty for the staff- either that or if they didn't send it back because they didn't recognize my name! lol. Sheesh. *hugs*
from muffinhead :
Hiya hon. I woulda called you today but I still worked a bit then I went walking around the casinos for a while. Had to do laundry today too. Bleh. Chores. Anyhow, hope all is well with you hon. *mental hugs*
from muffinhead :
Oh absolutely going to get it colored in silly! It's just usually with tattoos of this size you don't often do it all in one sitting. Anyhow, it will give me (and the fireman) time to figure out how the colors *should* be. ;-) lol about coloring in Ben's tattoo. I see what you mean. Maybe he should think about getting a refresh done on it!
from muffinhead :
thanks hon. I'll get through. Hope your "meeting" went well today. *hugs*
from muffinhead :
thanks hon, I appreciate the offer. :-)

Happy 10th anniversary! The ring?! Could have used those rocks for three different rings, I tell ya! May you both have an infinite number of glittery days. You both deserve it all. =)
from maiarayne :
My Mom's middle name is Michele so there is no excuse for me to spell it wrong! LOL. I'm so sorry! My mom said that Michele is the male form and Michelle is the female form (in french) so she never liked it spelt with 1 L. I think it is prettier that way myself! Again, sorry! LOL.
from dangerspouse :
Sorry I missed your diary for a few days!! Man, that medical insurance snafu sure sucks. I hope they get it straightened out for you. Good luck!
from kristintracy :
hey girl! things are good on my end. hope all is well with you! xoxo like always! ~k.
from harakiri :
hehe sorry about that! TOM= time of the month :)
from harakiri :
Thank you for the guestbook entry :) About soda- over the past week I just got my TOM back after not having it for a year (pregnancy and all) and it brought on some nasty binging urges, including the desire for soda. I only indulged in soda a few times though, yay! For the most part I drink nothing but water all day and occasional a bottle of Minute Maid Light. My attitude towards soda is "one or none" a day, that way I don't feel like I'm not "allowed" to have any, feeling like I'm not allowed to have it makes me want it more. I actually don't desire it like I used to, and I now go weeks without drinking any :) I know cutting out the soda and drinking lots of water has played a huge part in a)making me feel better and b)helping me to lose weight :)
from marn :
My big regret is that I didn't start all this when I was your age. Kudos to you to have the great good sense to start taking care of yourself in your zygote years, eh?
from watty :
Okay, I truly believe that we are twins. I've also walked into the men's washroom by accident before... how 'bout that?! =)
from watty :
I miss Panera Bread so badly! I was particularly addicted to those cinnamon crunch bagels. Everything on their menu is terrific. Im craving those German chocolate danishes now and those sandwiches yum! Okay, I need help. I think I need to hit the States again soon. =)
from marn :
Thank you, Michele. It turns out the two people I know casually have also had this and their cases were both a lot more severe than mine. Makes me feel a bit silly, whining about it. Thanks for making me laugh with the news of the sparkly deodorant. Glitter pits. Too funny :)
from watty :
I laughed so hard reading about sparkly deodorant... tee hee! I haven't frequented the deodorant aisles these days, but I'll have to when I visit Target this weekend and have another good chuckle. Thanks for making my day! =)
from watty :
I'm glad you and everyone are okay and that you didn't blow away picking up your hubby's tools. It's funny what strong winds can do to a place in seconds. *hugs*
from larrielou :
Hi :-) Don't worry about the birthday! A postie bike is the motorcycle that the postman rides around on to deliver letters to everyone's house :-) What do you guys call it?
from blackpanty :
Hey! In responce to your question: Willow - she liked the name of the Buffy character, Blanche - our grandmother's name, she passes away Nov.2002. Sis misses her, I don't talk about her, so we don't go there. :)
from watty :
I checked out Homewood Suites and I'll need to change my reservations! Thanks so much for the tip! I completely forgot about the exercise room, and am pleased that there's breakfast. =) I chuckled when I read about your getting hit on. Coincidentally, I get the weirdest guys doing the same thing (one applied deodorant in front of me at the airport... don't ask). Have a fun day! =)
from watty :
Thanks so much for visiting and leaving such a nice message. It's always nice to hear from a Madonna fan. =) Yep, I've read "In a glass of cider" and just love Robert Frost's poetry. I've enjoyed reading your diary thus far. I particularly enjoyed looking at the german chocolate cake (one of my favourites, too), the snowman and woman (that cracked me up... cute!), and we share the same annoyances with words spelled incorrectly. Yay! Hope you don't mind if I add you to my buddy list. Have a great weekend! =)
from bethel1467 :
Hi Thank you for visiting my diary, which in turn gave me the happy occasion to visit yours. I really like your writings. I definitely be a return customer. As to your question about my banner phrase, "Prelude to a Hernia" those words just sort of came to me one late night as I struggled to set up a banner for Diaryland. So I'm not scheduled to have hernia surgery but one never knows with me these days. . . . When I write about surgery or doctor visits in my diary I'm referring to my ongoing experience with eye troubles. I've had a dozen surgeries in the past two years to save my vision. Again, thanks so much for visiting and I hope you'll visit again. And I hope your hubby is feeling better after his surgery. All the best
from marn :
Awwwww, thank you Michele. The really, really sad part is that BBQ'ing that pizza was actually the high point of that day. Sigh.
from aaronorear :
Thank you for the kind words...most days I just try to form complete sentences and avoid looking like a huge schmuck. This is a goal more easily achieved in the written word than in person.
from ericintervw :
Thanks for letting me Interview you:) http://ericintervw.diaryland.com/030522_83.html
from stwig :
You look great. Good for you for keeping with it so religiously. You make me feel so lazy! Take Care.
from larrielou :
WOW! That's so fantastic. Isn't it the best feeling, finding something you thought you'd lost? I can't begin to imagine how wonderful it must be to find something so precious.
from larrielou :
Oh my God that's terrible!!!!!!!!! What a bitch!!! I cannot believe someone could be so rude! I can't stop using exclamation marks - I'm in so much shock.... Can you get them re-done in any way somewhere?
from larrielou :
nope, don't think you've posted that one. You look really beautiful in it though!
from larrielou :
hey Michele, sorry you're feeling that way. I'm just lazy when it comes to signing guestbooks. I'm afraid I don't sign anyone's. But I read every entry you post, if that helps. I'll try to comment more. I agree with what you're saying about the too - much - coverage of the war. It is too much. Especially when they repeat footage over and over again.
from stwig :
I think Saddam would totally eat George for breakfast if they met face to face. He looks like one tough dude. Hey, keep writing. I'm reading... Take Care.
from stwig :
I don't believe it. You actually were in a bad mood for once. I didn't think it was possible. :) I hope you feel better.
from marn :
It's called Soydelicious *insert wince here* and is made by a company called NHF. I have some soy milk here, so I'll try mixing it with that tomorrow. Thanks for the tip, Michele!
from krazielala :
ok...i unlocked my diary for you so now you can see it!!! :) write me back!
from krazielala :
OK. if you start updating your diary I will read it.
from krazielala :
lol...you should be on one of those commercials for gap! So...can you tell me one more time why you like gap? j/k ok...leave me a note...if you feel the urge to...j/k but leave me one!
from larrielou :
I like #1 slightly better than #2 (they're both great). You look so comfortable and happy in that easy kind of pose.
from ilovemuffins :
Thanks for the nice note and the music fact lol. :-)
from larrielou :
Yay! It fits! It looks great on you :-)
from larrielou :
Um. Well. No, we use the same computer. I'm starting to realise just HOW odd this is, now that two people have agreed with me! Oh, and the chocolates are THE BEST! I put them in a bowl on our kitchen table for my family and they're almost all gone!!!!!!!!!

sunstarr: I loved your notes yesterday! and your diary is amazing - text, too, not just graphics! The list of 5 things is genius. And your hairstyles- what a great entry! I vote for 3 and 7. You are REALLY photogenic! You're one of my official favorite diaries for sure.
from snowstar :
Sunstarr: Your graphics flipped me out completely! Unreal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love, Snowstar

Even though you didn't catch my hint and send me a Porsche, I added you to my Links page (I too hope that's coolio~). I'm still chuckling over that hair!!!
from ms-m :
Of course I don't mind you linking to me! That's the nicest thing someone could do for little ole me... that or buy me a Porsche. It's an individual's choice really.

I stopped by your diary, and enjoyed it ^^ GOod job, and Keep it up :D

I had a great time reading your diary entries. It is always great to be in a happy mood...isn't it. *smiles*
from originalcyn :
You begged, so I had to sign. I saw your pictures, you're just adorable, and what a hunk of man you have with you! Thank you for your kind words. Believe me, everything is much better now.
from ally-gator :
I was a HUGE VC Andrews fan too! I think the Heaven series was my favorite as well, although I do still read her "ghost writer" books and enjoy them to some degree. I absolutely LOVED Summer Sisters too. Hmmmm. Let me think...my latest favorite book that I read was Bridget Jones Diary and the sequel, The Edge of Reason. I highly recommend them and think you would love them! :) Considering everything we have in common, you can definitely take my word. Hugs!
from ally-gator :
Too funny! Temptation Island is an addiction to me and my hubby too - you can live vicariously through these people and then thank God you are not them when they do stupid things. Yeah, I think Mandy is pretty too, but not when she wears her hair in those funky twisty knots on her head. Makes her look like an alien. Personally I would kill for the one chick's (pretty black girl) abs. I hope to GOD I look like that after I have a child! :)
from ally-gator :
Too funny - I am a Clinique Freak too! I use both powder AND foundation too and find nothing odd about that! The best foundation they have (I think) is the Super Fit Makeup because it stays on all day through sweat and humidity and all that other junk. The fun of being a woman. UGH! :)
from ashliana :
Congrats on the pics! What a cute cat you have!
from plf :
I can see the picture! And a very nice picture it is, too. Glad you could figure out what was going wrong. Stay frosty!
from teresa :
Rock the pic, baby!
from teresa :
yeah, my pic doesn't work because I didn't like it and deleted it. But no, it -was- uploaded and I didn't foolishly link to my hard drive. Yippie.
from plf :
Strawberry Shortcake is da shiznit :) Glad to know I'm not the only one who had the sheets (and the dolls, and watched the cartoon...)
from teresa :
Dude, your pic doesn't work because you're linking to your hard drive. you gotta upload that thang. Peace..
from paper-girl :
Hi! Ive been reading your diary awhile, and thought Id drop you a line, mostly to let you know that I used to have Strawberry Shortcake sheets too! Keep writing!
from lizzymay :
Hi, what a beautiful and unique diary you have. Very interesting thoughts too. Keep Writing!Liz
