Funny how things work. Someone has been leaving spam in my comments and it was just this morning that I was clearing that away and, having a few minutes I looked to see if anybody still had me on their buddy list... and there was your name. I wondered how you were doing, and wah lah!!..you send me a note. Thank you for remembering me webster... and please, DO swim. I think there's something spiritual about it, all except for the occasional bout of pool rash. HTDB, MsL

I can't remember if I wrote to you about this before, but predinisone (IV in the hospital - so we are talking about thousands of mgs') has NO effect at all. So now my last resort, because I could always count on those steroids to get me up and going, simply do not work anymore. My heart is with you, Melanie
from politics101 :
dear Webster: you just HAVE to send me your email address. I have SO much to tell you. You had mentioned that the prednisone didn't seem to work as well. Well, as many times as I have had it, it doesn't work AT ALL. The last time I had it I was in the hospital with it IV and we are talking thousands of mgs. Nothing. Left hospital as exhausted as when I went in. Try to email me when you can: [email protected] Love, Melanie

Webster..the computer klutz is back. I tried to return several times, but they couldn't find me via my e-mail address. Hope you're ok. Hope to reconnect with you. Sheila

Thanks Webster for re-adding me to your buddy list. =]

Oh my goodness, I just read about the halo headaches! I always think in the back of my mind that I can just about endure anything that comes my way....except the loss of my eyesight! I'm so sorry you have all this struggle. You and Mel just amaze me with your upbeat ways. Take Care ~Barbara
from myexodus :
I hope things have been taken care of for you. Governmental Agencies are such a quagmire and you have to hound them constantly to be noticed. Always remember...The squeaky wheel gets oiled first.

What is a 'halo migraine w/o pain'? I've never heard of those.

Hi, I was just browsing Diaryland and came across your diary in the Multiple Sclerosis section (yes, it still does seem weird prying into other peoples personal lives!). I just wanted to say that I enjoyed reading it. I dont want it to sound like a sales-pitch, but I am hoping to get more input from individuals who are dealing with from MS on my non-commercial website called RemedyFind. Ive had CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) for about 20 years or so and am now at about 80% of the elusive normal after a relapse in 1994. A couple of years ago I decided to start a website where CFS patients could rate the effectiveness of the treatments they have tried. The idea being that over time the most effective meds, supplements and other therapies might make themselves apparent. Hard to say if well ever reach that goal, but the site has since grown to cover a number of other health conditions (including MS), and users do seem to like seeing all the various treatment options that are available, and reading other peoples experiences. Anyway, if at any time you do feel like doing ratings of some of the MS treatments you have tried good, bad and ugly it would be great. Here is the page for the MS section - http://www.remedyfind.com/hc-Multiple-Sclerosis.asp (click on All Remedies to see the full list of treatments) All the best, Brett Hodges

webster, as a fellow MS'er i follow your diary with interest. i SO know how you are feeling. about the cold war? well, you are in a hard situation there. it would be so difficult for me to live alone. do you have a friend/family that could live with you? then you could KICK HIM OUT!! email me anytime. i do so know what you are going thru. love, melanie
from journallife :
Hey you!! Hope things get a bit better at home, I am thinking of you! ((hugs))) Sueellen
from melieann :
dear webster: PLEASE send me your email address. there are so many things i want to talk with you about. if there is anyone in this world who knows what you are going thru - it is me!! you CAN get yourself up and going again. you really can. i went from a lump in a wheelchair to a person who can do most things besides drive and sit in the sun. men can be PIGS sometimes! i am probably the ONLY woman with MS whose husband RE-MARRIED me when i was at my sickest. i just recently got out of the hospital, am on that lovely prednisone, and can tell you the difference in the right physical therapist. mine came TO MY HOUSE for a month, every single day and worked with me. you can do it girl!! i did, and you can too!! please email me so we can write more privately. love you, and keep the chin UP. melanie (aka melieann)

Webster, I'm finally attempting to attempt to participate in Diaryland...You've helped to expand my vocabulary, actually had me read an entire book, taught me how to "cut and paste", encoraged me to participate in Diaryland, and I couldn't imagine why you thought I'd like to join "DAIRYLAND"...I was having a "bad eye day", or was it my dyslexia? You'd be SO impressed, I discovered the right hand shift key yesterday...NOW if they only had spell check!!! Yes, it's me SS
