Thank you. The potential is definately there. Next month we have been talking about going down to Florida for Orioles spring training or sports something or other. It sure will be nice to go from this cold to the warm there. =) |

La-Blue-Eyez!! Happy Birthday! :-) With all of my very best wishes, O. |

I'm also a fan of Burt's Bees lip balm. I've tried lots and lots of lip balms because my lips are always chapped, and Burt's Bees is my all-time favorite because it doesn't feel waxy and stays on my lips for a long time. I love the way it smells, too. Every once in a while I try a new brand, but I always go back to Burt's Bees. |

I stayed mainly in Northern Italy, venturing only as far as Florence. As cliche' as it is, you really must see Venice. There's no where else like it in the world. But tied with Venice for my favorite spot in Italy was the Cinque Terre - the 5 cities on the Western coast near La Spezia that are part of a national preserve where no cars or new building is allowed. There's a walking path between the 5 little cliffside villages and everything is extremely quaint and picturesque, like you stepped into the 1800's. Vernazza was my favorite city of the five. So I tell everyone that Venice and Vernazza are a must. Besides that, Lake Como, near Milan (where all the movie stars go/live) is overrated and Florence is interesting if you're into Renaissance art and food. I hope you make it there to Italy someday! La-Blue-Eyez! Happy Thanksgiving 2006! I hope you and your family are having a wonderful Thanksgiving! :-) O! |
from falo : |
Hi Crystal. I just wanted to pop in and say hello and I hope all is well at the new job. :-) O. |
from wannagowest : |
What happened to your comments! Anyway, just wanted to tell you that I enjoy reading about your work. You have a very interesting job and it doesn't bore me in the least! I look forward to hearing more about it. |
from falo : |
Hi Crystal. I just stopped in to say I hope that your first day (and of course many more to come thereafter) at the new job goes extremely smoothly and well! |
from chakra-chick : |
I'm so happy for you my dear...you so totally deserve to be happy! Have a lovely weekend. ~smooches~ |

from wannagowest : |
DJ is such a fucker. I'll be so happy when you're able to finally leave that toxic environment. I hope your mom can get along without you, but...she's made her bed and she'll have to lie in it, right? |
from ochweidnit : |
I waited a while to see if you were going to unlock or send people passwords ... I hope I can read you again, I miss your stuff :D |
from chakra-chick : |
Hiya sweetie. Sure you can doll! Just send me an e-mail so I'll have you addy and can send it to you there. ~smooches~ |
from falo : |
Hiya Crystal. |
from heydomsar : |
hi there, just letting you know that i'd read if you're allowing readers, but it's ok if you'd rather stay private. my email is heydomsar at yahoo dot com. hope all is well! :) |
from clarity25 : |
I kept hoping you would unlock. I'm not sure if you sent me the password and I lost it. I lost all the saved passwords on my computer, but I would REALLY like to read your journal. I miss your writing. You can reach me at [email protected] if you're comfortable enough to share the password with me. Take care! I hope all is well for you! |
from foursquare : |
Are you going private for awhile, or permanently? |
from laurie2002 : |
wtf? Is everything ok? I hope so! |
from chakra-chick : |
Hey sweetie! Could I please get the password to continue reading? |
from princessreva : |
I'm another poor soul, missiong you, begging for a password, if you are inclined to be giving it out. I'm at princessreva at that hotmail thingy. |
from wannagowest : |
I'd love to get the password too, if you're willing to share it. Leave me a note or email me: jodeeee29 at homail dot com. |
from mspsyched1 : |
If you're giving out passwords, put me on your list to get it. Pretty please...with a cherry on top. :) |
from wvprincess : |
alrighty...I guess you changed the password.. hope all is well! Let me know if you are giving out the password!! |
from smedindy : |
You locked. Everything OK? |
from tommy212 : |
you're locked. I hope everything's alright. |
from laurie2002 : |
My therapist told me that old people don't like to apologize. They either want to just move on and pretend like nothing happened or plead the fifth. I know that doesn't help your situation, but I thought I should try to say something after reading your entry. I am sorry that you had to go through that and that the one person who was supposed to protect you with their own life did not. |
from foursquare : |
Not sure what to think of your mother, although if I had a guess she probably doesn't reeeaally mean it. It sounds like she's locked into her own bitter world. But as an aside, jesus that was fucked up of her about the house shooting and her brother. |
from falo : |
Hi Crystal. You definitely don't have to be on hiatus or not write because you are. It was good to hear what's going on with you. Sorry about the ignorant coworker. No worries, she has her opinions which are just hers. It's nonsense that she should be concerned about her appearance but a single woman should not?! That just makes no sense whatsoever. In the real world, I think you would find that something approximating the opposite would be more true. And as for finding a gentleman who will be a man on your behalf, well, I am sure that there are many of them. Maybe you should just pity her for being in a relationship where she has to feel like she needs to look her best for her man while he burps and tells her to buy him another six-pack while she is down at the gas station filling her car up with gas. :-) O. |
from falo : |
Hi Crystal. I have been waiting for that all day (interview results). Thinking positive and being hopeful for you. I guess that will have to wait for a short bit. |
from mspsyched1 : |
Thank you. (hugs) ;) |
from nikig : |
Thanks for checking my phlog(as becks puts it)! I am off to visit yours in a minute. That is the one downer about flickr. Yes you have to be a memeber to leave comments. I did debat over flickr or blogspot. Flickr won cause I like the set up better and like I said before its a forum for photographers. If you want to leave comments about some pics you can always send me a note through dland. So...off to see your pics! :~) |
from beckers-j : |
Yeah, you can e-mail that code to the address on my page. If you can find the code, that is. Thanks so much for your help! |
from mspsyched1 : |
Wow! Your entry was like a walk down my very own memory lane. Crystal Pepsi. I used to love that stuff. I cant listen to VanHalen's Right Now without thinking about it. It was the song in all of the commercials. Tesla. That is a flashback. Its so funny. Just this morning I was listening to the Arena Rock channel on my digital cable channel. And Love Song came on. I hadnt heard that in so long. And (gulp), I know how that dates a person. I was thinking the very same thing. Gawd, I'm getting old(er). Oh, so what part of Cali are you thinking about? |
from beckers-j : |
Oh God, I hate you! ;) Are you serious? How many of them did you meet? Did you meet Sheffield? Jeter? Bernie? I AM SO JEALOUS! ;) |
from dangerspouse : |
I like your idea for a la-blue-spouse combo Irish festival next year! As long as you don't mind my awful tendency to ruin St. Patty's Day for anyone even remotely close to me, I think we'll have a great time. Soda Bread ROCKS! Thanks for the note :) |
from heydomsar : |
probably wise. i have a ginormous head. like a watermelon. it'll probably exxplode. (which i typed sexplode on accident). so thx for thinking of my safety. :) |
from dvlsdisguise : |
My situation got taken care of, or rather, it got fixed completely out of my hands. The only thing I know of is to not blame anyone and look at it as something that wasn't meant to be. But I do blame him. I blame "them". Sometimes I blame me, but I don't know what I could have done differently. Maybe after trying to find peace about it within it won't be so hard, but something tells me that time won't erase the hurt or rememberance. You remember her due date. I'll always remember mine too. |
from dvlsdisguise : |
I know you would relate if I mentioned it, because I know you've gone through it too. I know it was for the best, but it still breaks my heart. I feel like not writing is just a cop out to not deal with how I feel, but I should be allowed to run away from it. I think. |
from mspsyched1 : |
You're right, we do have similar lives. I had asked a friend of mine if she could be my emergency contact. She's my best friend so I didnt think she's mind. At first she said yes and then later she wanted to change her mind. She said she didnt want to be the one that had to come identify my body if anything happened. I think its highly unlikely to happen, but I understand. Its a huge compliment and burden at the same time. |
from foursquare : |
Sure... Am I in trouble? :-D ... [email protected] That one's actually my "public" email, but it comes to the same place. When you write, I'll reply with my real one. |
from mspsyched1 : |
You know what? You're so right. I have a lady that I work with that is older and like a mother figure to me...and she's always telling me things like "You're not allowed to feel guilty" or "He so deserves everything he gets". And its just so much more believable when someone else says it to you. Thanks so much for the validation. I knew it, but really "knew" it when you said it. Does that make sense? (BIG APPRECIATIVE HUGS) |
from smedindy : |

Sherman has about 36,000 people. I'm not sure about Denison. Sherman is 60 miles north of Dallas - close enough to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex to access the urban amenities - yet it is still unhurried and friendly. Sherman is only 10 miles south of Lake Texoma, one of the largest reservoirs in the state of Texas. I'm not sure about apartment prices and stuff but I can find out if you want me to. Send me an email about what you're looking for. |
from kellbelle : |
Sherman is about an hour from where I live. Denison is about an hour and a half :) We go through there every year on our way to skiing (Sherman that is) |
from mspsyched1 : |
Yay! I am SO glad you're back. If noone tells you, at least I did...you were missed. I got all excited when I checked my buddy list and yours was red. Its sounds like you had a very eventful trip. Cant wait to check out your pics. |

Hey girl, I'm so sorry about the ordeal you had to endure-hope the car is repairable. It will be so wonderful if you do come over to South Africa! I promise you will not be sorry... ~smooches~ |
from kellbelle : |
Where are you going? Are you sure you need a passport? You could always ask the agent at the passport office. Here you can get a passport at the post office too. Call them and tell them the situation and see if they have any ideas. |
from invisibledon : |
did you get my phone message ? |
from heelandlass : |
Hi! I just wanted to say that I read the advice/summary of the situation that you wrote over at Clarity's diary and I agree with you 100%. And then I read your most recent update and it made me sad that you had to hear something like that. I know nothing about you, or what you're going through but I hope things get better. Nobody should have to hear someone they love talk about them like that, I hope you take positive steps from it. Take Care xxx |
from smedindy : |
Psst...I liked the template you had before this one...(maybe it's just because I'm not a foot person). Was that actually your pic? |
from jonathan : |
Thanks for coming over. Try hitting the enter@random link - it often amuses me. I get lost in my own website. I hope you'll join the 1000 diaryring too - you'll clearly get there! |

My cat is like my child. If something happened to him, I dont know what I'd do. So I know how you feel there. Good luck with the vet visit. I hope everything will be okay *HUGS* |
from kellbelle : |
Yes, still sick from the ski trip, but the pneumonia is probably a secondary infection from whatever I took skiing. I'm getting better and able to spend more and more time out of bed. Hopefully I'll be ready for school on the 17th! |

Hey bebe! Thanks for the nice note at my place, and a very Merry and Happy to you and yours also :) |

the easiest way is to put the style attribute inside the table or td tag below is an example of one of the style attributes I had used in my own design: style="border-left:1px solid #333333; border-right:1px dotted #333333; border-top:1px dotted #333333; border-bottom:1px solid #333333; padding-left: 4; padding-right: 4; padding-top: 1; padding-bottom: 1" |

Not to add insult to injury, but you have GOT to see it live. HBO doesnt do it any justice, even though its good to watch on tv. You just cant experience it the right way without seeing it live. I know this is a far out question, but do you ever get to Las Vegas? If you do, there is a show all year round in Vegas. |
from mspsyched1 : |
Oh, sorry. My email is [email protected]. As for your manwhore, I have a woman who married an older guy. When he died, she remarried his oldest son and they had a bunch of kids. So its a guy raising his brother/stepson. Its a crazy place. But that's what makes it fun. |
from mspsyched1 : |
Yeah, and I thought I was the only one who could sit at my computer for ten hours playing the Sims. It is rather addicting to say the least. I created the most dysfunctional family ever. Anyhoo, yeah I would love to read your other diary, if you dont mind :) |
from mspsyched1 : |
Wow, sometimes I read you and SWEAR I'm reading over some of my past entries. I had Bell's Palsy about 2(?) years ago. And after your heart gets out of your stomache and you realize you didnt have a stroke, it gets easier to deal with. But I totally can relate to the whole smiling thing. Even now, out of habit, I still find myself covering my mouth when I laugh. So yeah, its something I'm thankful for too. Its always the little things, right? Hope you had an awesome Thanksgiving. |
from fresh-fish : |
gr-8 thanksgiving entry, mine sucked. lol have a great week. |

from mspsyched1 : |
My day may have sdtarted off crappy, but got so much better. Thanks for the good vibes. It worked. :) |
from mspsyched1 : |
You so inspired me. Its weird though, because as I was reading your last entry, it made me think of someone else...not my ex. It is amazing how people do change so much. |
from bitchslap69 : |
hi honey - thanks for the kind words! |
from invisibledon : |
hey |
from dvlsdisguise : |
Nothing in Yahoo wants to work for me anymore... not even my messenger, lol. It's weird and is constantly telling me I'm logged into another computer so I changed all my info so whoever it is can't sign in my name anymore. I placed the photo elsewhere tho so now the link should work. I hope your sister will get her license here soon. Maybe we'll be taking it around the same time! |
from dvlsdisguise : |
Darling I just love you to pieces, you know that right? I really do appreciate all of your encouragement and the guidance you have to give. Many hugs! |
from falo : |
Hi Crystal. I certainly hope that you had a good albeit long weekend of work. Hey, is it me or did your comments feature go away somehow. :-) O. |
from wvprincess : |
I'll have to ask Alex's parents if they talked to the airlines. From what Alex said it sounded like they basically were just out of the money now..Thanks for that info though! :) |
from chakra-chick : |
The headpiece thingy is actually an adorned scarf which was pinned that way-most brides pin it so that their head is covered, but my Aunt wanted that style. For the evening function, she did wear a tiara, though. No reason for the miniature bride & groom - just though it would look cute! I'm so glad that your weekend went well...at least you have like 4 whole days off now! Take Care. ~smooches~ |
from chakra-chick : |
Thanks for the note sweetie. Yup-that is what a hookah is...it's really cool to smoke. It began in the middle eastern countries like Egypt & Turkey. It's a long pipe with a mouthpiece connected to a bottle type thing filled with water and you smoke flavoured tobacco from the top. I'll send you a pic of smoking one. |
from banefulvenus : |
got your message... really love your journal. The layout is absolutely amazing!! : ) |

Sure, take all the time you need. I'll be around, you know I have nothing better to do than click Refresh on my Buddy List page every hour trying to see who has written my scoop for the day. :) I've been meaning to mention this but always forget, but did you know there's a la-sad-eyez around DiaryLand? I saw it on the Members Area a while ago and was like, ":-O! That's almost like Crystal's name!" lol. Just thought you'd like to know you had a sort-of twinkie around here. |
from lonelylatina : |
thank you for asking my friend. i'm getting better still coughing but not as bad. today i woke up with a mean sore throat so i think i need to refill my medicine. so have you decided what to do? are you going to change your work schedule? |
from dvlsdisguise : |
I forgot to mention that I've told him I didn't know if I wanted to talk when this thing began, not to mention I told him no one was keeping him talking to me. He called me the next day tho so maybe he's like me and not wanting to let go? Or it's wishful thinking, lol. I don't know but I've given him several oppurtunities to get out of this whole deal and continue on with his life without me but yet he has chosen to still call. I know I could say something like "Don't you dare call me until Stable Mable leaves!" but I figure he's wanting/needing to talk to me for a reason. Not to mention that I prayed for him to want me (and I never pray) so I'm scared to push my possible fate away. Naive? Maybe. |
from chakra-chick : |
Hi sweetie...I know; I have been a terrible buddy-barely even keeping in touch with you! I'm glad that you had such a great time with your sister - I hope L and Cristina like their gifts you got for them. By the way- I'm not sure if you read my latest private diary entry. If you did, I would really appreciate some advice / feedback on what I should do...you always have the best advice and kindest words and I value anything that you can forward to me...I've thrown myself in the deep end with this situation! ~smooches~ |
from dvlsdisguise : |
I keep asking that question and it keeps going back to, "He reminds me of my brother" and my brother turned out to be a great catch. He ran his games but he said when he turned 30 he realized where he should be. RC has a lot of great qualities to him and if she was out of the picture I'm sure we'd still be as happy as we first were. I would love to just drop him on his behind and tell him he's on his own for my own sanity, but who else will he turn to? My loyalty has me tied but I've already voiced to him I'm reaching my brink so hopefully he realized I won't be around for her abuse and will grow a spine if he wants to keep me. |
from dvlsdisguise : |
Thanks for showing some understanding in my situation. :) You're the first person who hasn't left anything telling me the signs aren't good and he's a loser. I understand why people say those things and I appreciate it, but anyone who has read me for a while knows I take my loyalty to everyone I'm close to seriously. I just don't know how much I can take. I want to be with him, but I hate conflict and don't want Stable Mable coming at me. I'm not scared, I just don't fight unless it's necessary. I don't want to be seen as "just a piece" either. I guess I'll have to mention that if he tries anything again if we see each other. |
from dvlsdisguise : |
Laughing isn't exactly what I was hoping to be getting from this situation you know, lol. Good thing I still have Old Faithful. At least I know it'll happen SOMEWHERE, if not with him. |
from f-i-n : |
hihihi! |
from foursquare : |
Are you keeping private for good, or are you open to an old reader still keeping up? |
from lonelylatina : |
thanks...can you see everything ok on my new layout? |
from chakra-chick : |
I'm glad that you are progressing so well, but I'm sad to hear about your back! I know how you feel about yourself 'falling apart' - I went through that a few months ago - I just never seemed to get well! It was one problem after the other. I hope you feel well soon sweetie. Have a lovely weekend. ~smooches~ FAZ |
from jrie1985 : |
Actually, yes it does. I adore the rain! I could live without the 30 mph winds, but it's not too bad. I wish we could have a cooling rain that smelled like water. -sigh- I'm so ready to pack up and leave if I could. |
from chakra-chick : |
I'm so sorry about your accident sweetie. (hugs). Hope you feel better very soon. ~smooches~ |

Hiya sweetie, Great to see you are back. I'm terribly sorry about all the issues you are going through...damn I cannot believe that therapist of yours! Ditch her now! I'm so sorry to hear that you've had a rough time lately, and so happy to hear that you are getting better. Your strength and positivity are amazing :) That guy Tom sounds like a real prick, you did the right thing by going off at him. Thanks for the note you left a while back, exams went went and now I'm on holidays, whoo hoo!! Good luck with everything with your health and your family, have a wonderful day :) |
from curiouoso : |
Hello, Sorry about the delay in writing. I think you should approach her with the exact theme you left in your message to me,"I am so thrilled that she has found us and I'm sure she's trying to figure out who she is as well. All that is great and my sister and I are welcoming her with opened arms. The problem we're both having is that she's curious about our father and the memories are so painful for my sister and me." Then explain gently if possible, that like all memories the memory of your father is both pleasant and very painful. Try to come up with a great memory you had, and tell her that you will be able to explain more as time goes by. Also explain that the bad memories are the most recent and strongest so it's very difficult to get past those at this time. Explain you don't want to ruin your new family togetherness memories by putting emphasis on remembering so many painful times. Reassure her that with her understanding you will be able to confront the past better as time goes by. After all, somethings remain very powerfull for a long time; My older brother had absolutely no desire to remember anything or keep any pictures etc. even after 25 + years had gone by. In Contrast, his mother sounded somewhat "still in Love" when she told me how handsome he had been, and forwarded me many saved pictures. Good Luck, Curiouoso* |
from chakra-chick : |
What can I say, besides...Yipppeeee!!! Thats brilliant news sweetie! I'm glad that you are making progress! ~smooches~ |

I'm glad that story worked for you. It's strange how many of our experiances are in common in spite of our many differences. I'll sleep om your question, maybe I'll have a possible idea Sunday. Till then Curiouso* |

WoW! That is rather a lot to take in at once. I don't know what I would would do if I suddenly discovered I have another sibling floating around somewhere... Good Luck sweetie - but I'm pretty confident that you will make the right decision. Have a lovely weekend dear. ~smooches~ |
from jrie1985 : |
Well. DiaryLand isn't a fun place anymore with the problems it's developed. It's been months and it's STILL not fixed. Honestly, I don't know why I'd want to move other than that reason. Maybe I'm just wanting a fresh new start... but it'll always be the same writing. I just can't let go of the past. |

Thank you for the compliment! :D That was really sweet. Looking at them, I decided I should start wearing make-up a lot more because I look so droopy and plain without it, lol. I wish I knew a drag queen. Then they could help me make myself "pop" lol. |
from jrie1985 : |
Girl, you just don't know. I haven't been able to sleep so I end up sleeping from past 9am until 4pm, if not later. I need to get my sleep schedule to "normal" hours, but I just hate missing the night time. |

Hi sweetie! I'm so sorry that I have been a bit of on the scarce side of late. I was busy at work last week and I have been sick with a nasty cold these past few days. I'm terribly sorry about the kidney stones..hope you feel better soon. Thinking of you dear... ~smooches~ |
from wifemotherme : |
aww come on now! You know i am unemployed ...I was expecting you to wow me with stories of the real world so I could vicariously live thru you. I have no life so update soon. This muggy stormy weather is worth at least a paragraph |
from wifemotherme : |
I think to truly "get" Garden State one would have to have suffered from some sort of mental disorder - when you have that movie is very beautiful. A deep true love and a broken heart to "get" the Spotless Mind - there is a deeper level to be "getting" in both of those movies. And to enjoy Napoleon well I don't know what you would have had to go thru cause I didn't "get" it either. Maybe its the same with sideways - you have to get it on a level of personal experience that I never had. |
from ballet-bum : |
Thanks for adding me to your faves, I'm happy to return the favour :) I haven't read much of your diary yet, but from what I have read you seem like a lovely person! I hope J gets the help she needs, and that everything is ok when her family stays with you. Thanks again, and have a great day! |
from chakra-chick : |
So glad that you are enjoying the job. I know what you mean about kids bringing out the best in you. I wor at a pediatric medical research company, so I see kids on a daily basis as well. Their innocence and total oblivion to the problems in the world are so refreshing. It really does make one feel better about everything. ~smooches~ |
from chakra-chick : |
Hi Crystal! I'm glad to see that everyone (albeit one) is being so great to you. It's also nice to know that the hospital is so employee orientated...thats pretty rare to find! All the best for your new job and I can't wait to read about your first day on the job! ~smooches~ |
from wllybere : |
Hey there! Congratulations on the new job. I've been trying to go back and read what it is you'll be doing, and I can't tell whether it's with the derm clinic or a cable company. What exactly will you be doing? Did you not want to stay in surgery? |
from wifemotherme : |
Good Luck on your first day of work!!!! Dont forget to come let us know how it goes. |
from sillybeautie : |
that movie was awesome with a capital AW! |
from candoor : |
NYC until 1990 when I built a house just south of Disney (with some roaming to Toronto, Texas, California, and other places along the way)... been back here five years now and still wondering why :) |
from sillybeautie : |
aww thanks so much for the super sweet note!! i love your diary so i added it to my buddy list! :) |
from sillybeautie : |
im sorry about whats going on with your step- niece.. it is a really hard thought to think why a 8 year old that has so much a head of her would want to do something like that or know what it is shes trying to do... and i would be worry about what it is the parents are doing thats making her want to do it... but i wish you all the luck in keeping her safe! |
from jadedhopes : |
Ahhh...diaryland won't let me have my dose of Crystal anymore! Make it stop!! :( Why is diaryland being so mean?! Anywho, in the mean time I'll wait patiently for it to release you. :) |
from tommy212 : |
diaryland is stupid and won't let me unlock my diary. for now, username is tom, password is tom. |
from tommy212 : |
i am being held captive too. diaryland is a bitch. |
from chakra-chick : |
Thanks for the password and username. I'm so happy that I can once again read about your life. I enjoyed your '5' list - noticed that we are similar in a few ways! Take Care. ~smooches~ |
from wifemotherme : |
I am soooooooo happy that you were not able to share with your mom that your cat was molesting her suitcase. I am a mother and trust me if N found my toys I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY would not want to know. Besides these are things best shared 5 years from now when she walks in on you and your husband or something. 5 years later its funny, 5 days, 5 hours or 5 months - its just mordifing |
from lonelylatina : |
oh no you locked up :( can i please please have the username and password to your diary? [email protected] |
from foursquare : |
Ouch... That must really suck... I can't remember if you're a gold member or not, but if not, maybe you should upgrade anyway because of how notorious Andrew is for not answering help questions for non-paying members... Good luck. (Oh, don't sweat that on not giving me a "warning" for the first boring half of D.I.A. I'm still reading, even it did require a break! :-D ) |
from foursquare : |
Damn, why the heck did Diaryland do that? |
from wvprincess : |
well...that sucks..hope it gets fixed soon!! :) |
from wvprincess : |
You're locked??? Well..if it's ok I would still like to read!! Email me..and let me know!:) |
from wifemotherme : |
Locked!! But I miss you. Ok if your sharing please email me at [email protected] hope everything is ok |
from chakra-chick : |
Oh no! So, you have yourself a hostage situation? That sucks! I hope that good 'ol Andrew will be able to sort it out soon... ~smooches~ |
from chakra-chick : |
Could you kindly provide me with the username and password for your diary? |
from jrie1985 : |
So it's being held for ransom? :) I sure hope DiaryLand returns to normal soon. It's not the same without the updated members area and red "Your buddy list" when someone updates. Wah. |
from jrie1985 : |
Thanks so much for the vote of confidence! I'm really needing a shot of that right now, lol. My stomach feels invaded by every creepy crawly thing with wings, ack. I noticed your diary was locked. Will it become unlocked soon? |
from wifemotherme : |
OMG that is about the funnist thing I have ever read here on DL. Let the poor thing die and mom will be none the wiser that you ever knew. Dont say anything. ROFLMAO!!! Thanks I needed that. BTW big time congrats on the job! |
from foursquare : |
Ooooo.. I shall remember that about the book. I'm actually still in "Dragonfly in Amber". I poured through Outlander, but D.I.A. just pretty much dragged for me. I started it in December I think, and then put the book down until just recently. I'm now about 3/4 of the way through it and finding the second half a lot better. I think all the Bonnie Prince Charlie European spywork previous to the war got too tedious for me. Still love Jamie & Claire though, and I've got Voyager sitting here waiting on me. |
from lonelylatina : |
congratulations on the job, yay!!! |
from randommuse : |
Hey! I finally have a home computer again and can bug. CONGRATS on the new job!! And sorry I missed the Oscars pool...I would have blown it anyway. |
from foursquare : |
Yaaaayyyy Crystal!!! Now that you have a job I can say openly that I'm glad you were able to to get one in the medical field. And while it's not ST work yet, you'll get there and this won't be hurting you. Good for you! |
from chakra-chick : |
Thanks for the note sweetie! Mmmmm...those two are definately on my list! Thanks for you input dear. |
from lonelylatina : |
thank you :) i'm looking forward to reading about what you've been up to. it will take me a while though cause you have like 700+ entries,WOW. take care. |
from katie-kinz : |
I found your diary through a bunch of other diaries. I really like what you write and I've added you as a favorite! |
from jrie1985 : |
Guys are so weird! You're lucky to have really open guy friends tho. However, I'm sorry you've been "anointed" more than once, lol. I'll tell you what, next time that happens, I'm just whipping my right boob out of my bra and we're gonna have a show down! This is battle of the sexes and damn it, I'm leading it! |
from jrie1985 : |
No, he doesn't know. It's hard to tell 18-year-old guys that you like their friend. They tend to not care and try not to get involved playing match maker. I guess they're smart. If it doesn't work out, he knows he'll have to answer to someone! Or listen to me whine. :) |
from jrie1985 : |
I wish I were friends with him. It would be a lot easier to get him interested then. :) Actually, we don't hang out because we're more like occasional acquaintances. He's only came over twice since I met him, but that's because he was hanging out with our mutual friend. I doubt he'd come over alone. |
from falo : |
very nice. I like the new layout |
from foursquare : |
Okay, e-mail sent. I remember once quite awhile back my e-mails weren't getting to you, so if you don't see anything from me, let me know and I'll resend it from a different e-mail address. |
from foursquare : |
Don't feel bad on the "unoriginal" layout, I like it. :) By the way, I'll be sending you an e-mail shortly on the hummingbird stuff. |
from alwaysnaive : |
Glad to hear the interview went well! Hope they do make you an offer. |
from kellbelle : |
Well, if you got the job then no need to wish you luck ;) hehe Oh heck...good luck anyway. Hope it's what you want and that it brings you all you need. |
from alwaysnaive : |
I really hope everything is fine with your mom. I'll say a prayer for you and your family. xoxoxo |
from alwaysnaive : |
Good luck with the job lead from Ms. E! And thanks again for leaving me a note about my job situation (sorry I didn't see it right away). |
from ooh-awkward : |
Have you tried looking for jobs online? I did a general search on the main sites and one on a medical only website and many jobs came up. If you are interested in the websites, let me know! |

from kellbelle : |
You are so sweet to remember!!! And you're welcome. I'm glad you got it!! Happy Birthday to you, too!! I'm getting too old to remember stuff, so I'm telling you now because I"ll forget by tomorrow. LOL |
from thekirks : |
Thank you so much for your note. I got thru it ok today although it was more painful than the first one. By the way, I enjoy visiting your diary...your layout is very calming! |
from foursquare : |
I did one like that when I was reading about words that are commonly mispronounced and drive a number of people insane. It was with the word, "nuclear". It's supposed to be pronounced, "New-clear" not, "new-que-lar". Like I do... People were complaining about that and I didn't get it at first. |
from foursquare : |
And you know what my favorite part of this story is? The fact that I am not the only Midwestern/Plain States weirdo pronouncing "caramel" like "carmel". I catch so much shit from Pooky for that one. :) |
from chakra-chick : |
I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling down of late...hope you feel better soon dear. *smooches* |
from chakra-chick : |
That is such a coincidence! Just goes to show - what a small world we live in! Happy Birthday to your sister! Hope she has many more! |
from wifemotherme : |
Have you considered staying in the state and just moving a bit down the coast line? I know there are 2 hospitals down this way and a big on in P. Gorda. That way you would be far enough away from step dad but still really close to family if you need them. (or just miss them) |
from invisibledon : |
Happy New Year - sorry about the OU loss and the comment about how bad they were losing. Hope you have much fortune in the new year. Oh and very cool card that you sent too. |
from some-trouble : |
Happy New Year! I hope 2005 is a fabulous year for you. XXX |

Here's three links to Asheville pictures maybe you haven't found: http://www.consultwebs.com/ncphotos/asheville_nc_pg1.htm http://www.asheville-nc.worldweb.com/Photos/ http://www.ashevillemag.com/photos/index.html I looooovvvvvve Asheville! It's a mountainous area (but not quite smack in the middle of them as far as the city goes as I recall), I don't know if you're into that or not. Asheville is cool, it's kind of a college-hippyish town and the whole area is just so damn beautiful. Anywhere in the Blue Ridge Mountains is so pretty, and you get one of the most spectacular fall foliage seasons in the country. |
from foursquare : |
I'm so glad you took that quiz! It really is interesting. Minus a few oddballs, looks like you're a middle of the country girl eh? :) Pooky says Greenville, NC sucks but didn't give much more on it than that. You mentioned Asheville earlier, I love that town. Pooky also mentioned it just now when I told him you were a ST, I guess there's some kind of big medical center there or something. Wilmington, NC is kind of like a miniature Charleston, SC. A beachy kind of town, but, that area is prone to hurricanes if you're wanting to avoid that. I'm curious to hear more on the places that interest you. |
from thekirks : |
Thanks for sharing that link! I have it bookmarked!! |
from foursquare : |
http://www.findyourspot.com Seriously, take that quiz, it'll help a lot with finding out what areas of the country best fit your interests. It's a fairly long and detailed quiz, and they make you fill out info on yourself at the end, but it's worth it. |
from chakra-chick : |
Thanks so much for the comment sweetie. I had some rest yesterday, so I feel tons better today. I'm glad that you are finding out so much about your family...must be fascinating, hey? Have an excellent day further dear. |

Cuddly, lovey kids are the best. I just love it when my kiddo is like that, but that's only when she's sick these days! LOL She's getting too old to love on mom I guess :) |

I'm doing really well - cool kitty things you are thinking about getting :) |
from grngrl75 : |
Thanks so much for adding me as a favorite also! I'm enjoying reading your diary so far! |

It does sound a little fishy..but I don't know them so I can't really give an opinion about that..but I have heard of children that young and even younger battling depression. I don't understand it, but I have heard of cases. If she was fine last year around the time that it happened then I think it might be her mother filling her head with stuff. I really don't understand the pills being anywhere near her reach..in my house pills..even vitamins are hidden so that my son can't get to them |
from foursquare : |
Whoa... For all their sakes, I hope it's bullshit. :( Rape is my biggest fear with my daughter, I make myself sick thinking about it, and I do and will go through paranoid measures to do my damndest to never let her get into that kind of situation if I can help it. That does sound fishy about A & her daughter and the court thing... Ugh, boy. |
from nmnohr : |
First of all - get your blood pressure checked. That is nothing to screw around with. There are plenty of places to get your BP checked for free. Second - get your butt to a doctor :o) Hope you feel better soon, but don't mess around with this, k? |
from kellbelle : |
You work in a freakin hospital! LOL Ask someone about your legs and feet! It could be something really minor (like prolonged standing) or could be something more serious like a blod clot or your veins in your legs not being able to pump blood back to your heart). Some things you can do to help your legs... when you lay down, elevate your legs above your heart. Exercise your legs (helps pump the fluid from your legs back to your heart. Wear support stockings (hehe old lady stockings) or you can reduce your salt intake. Hope that helps :) |
from foursquare : |
I remember the story of her from last year when you wrote it, it choked me up again re-reading it still. *hugs* |
from kellbelle : |
You go girl. YOu can do it :) |
from kellbelle : |
Yes, it's pretty much like that everywhere. I even have European friends telling me how to vote, if you can imagine that!! That hacks me off a bit. |
from invisibledon : |
yes I'm keeping it safe I keep anything of yours safe for you for when ever you might need it and you may certainly have your motivation back I was wondering when you might come around asking where it was. |
from invisibledon : |
I found your motivation lying over here - it was lying behind the sofa it must have fallen then when you were on the phone late one night with the lights off talking to someone. :) hope that makes your day a bit better |
from invisibledon : |
The strip club thing is bunk - guys would grab if they could in those places without getting tossed out. just my thought on that one |
from alwaysnaive : |
Keep up the good work! It's nice to feel appreciated, isn't it? |
from invisibledon : |
hey I stole your list thingy :) I do that a lot |
from kellbelle : |
Sometimes it takes bottoming out for us to realize that God has been helping us all along. Keep on keeping on girl. You're in my thoughts and prayers. :) |
from sleepy-gurl : |
I'm glad things are going to get better for you. I'm also glad that you prayed for yourself, good luck and God bless. |
from foursquare : |
I was choked up reading your entry, and it's an understatement to say I'm very happy for you. Good luck! |
from randommuse : |
So glad to hear things are going well and that you'll be finishing school. And it's never selfish to ask anyone, including God, to help you if needed. |
from shewhowalks : |
You know what? I think it's perfectly, 100% okay to have doubts. It's the answers to the doubts that truely make you stronger. You're okay kid. You'll be just fine. |
from shewhowalks : |
Funny how that happens. I have the same thing happen on occasion. It's nice to know there are other's out there, who know exactly what I mean.... Thank you. |
from nmnohr : |
I agree that you need to finish school.....it's already almost October. December is just around the corner. It would be such a shame to leave, and have to make up so much for such a short amount of time. As soon as you are done with school - get the hell out of there. Your mom probably should leave the schmuck, but wanting to use you as a reason for it is ridiculous. Either she wants to leave him or not - none of that has anything to do with you or your actions. I'd be leary of moving out with Katrina too. She's so young, and like you said, has no idea how much things cost, etc. I'd hate to see it put strain on your relationship. I'm so sorry you are having to deal with all of this. You deserve better. |
from randommuse : |
I'll kick in with my two cents worth from an old lady for whatever it's worth. First, your mom's not making any sense because she's trying to use guilt to force you into a decision. "How do I deal with that?" You don't sweetie, it's her problem not yours. Honestly, I think you've already made the right decision about Katrina. She's never been on her own before and is probably just afraid. Now, here's where it gets tricky. December isn't that far away (as the other posters have pointed out) and it would seem a shame to throw away all that you've accomplished this year. You know Oklahoma as well as I do...not a lot of opportunity plus the schools, in an attempt to get more money, probably would make you retake classes and put you further away from your goal. If you can stick it out, do it. Also, make sure your mother understands the ONLY reason you're staying is because you have a goal you want to see to the end, NOT because of the guilt trip she tried to lay on you. She needs to know that things like that aren't going to work anymore. |
from foursquare : |
I have to go with what the others have said; I really, really feel you need to finish school there and on time. I just have this bad feeling if you went back to Oklahoma it would fall apart. I really do feel for you about living in an awful situation like that, but, December isn't that far away in the long run. If Katrina could hack it, would you be able to console yourself by agreeing to pay her back when you've graduated and have work? |
from invisibledon : |
I know it will be tough but you need to finish school for you, if you don't you'll be letting him take that away from you. Remember tough times don't last but tough people do and you are a tough one girl and if you ever need to call someone and just scream at the world you know the number |
from wvprincess : |
You are so close to graduating that I would hate to see you stop now..but I am not someone that tells everyone else what they should do in their own life. Do what you feel you have to do is all I can say..December isn't that far though and if you have made it this far I know you can make it a few months more! You are a strong and intelligent person and I know you will do what you know is right for you! Don't let your Mom's feelings about all this try and stop you..she is a grown woman and if she isn't happy with her husband...that's on her..not you..if she says she's going to leave him if you leave that is just an excuse to make you feel guilty..and that isn't right! |
from randommuse : |
You're not a bad person and you didn't do anything wrong. Don't forget, your mom's a human being too and, therefore, capable of incredible stupidity. She's more afraid of being left alone without a man than worrying about how his asshole behavior terrifies you. Unfortunately, women do that to their children a lot, but you're definitely getting a lesson in how not to be in the future. Hugs. |
from foursquare : |
I'd like to shoot him. And I just don't get your mom either. |
from wvprincess : |
Yeah I agree with the last statement below!!..someone needs to give him a swift kick in the ass!! You should keep your cat away from him before he does something worse than that.. |
from invisibledon : |
You want me to come kick him off a coffee table for you? |
from wvprincess : |
Wow..I would never be able to see someone's brain being operated on..you are definitely stronger than me...I would have doubled over gagging...the site of blood freaks me out..lol |
from kellbelle : |
I am so proud of you. You have come so far since I first started reading your diary! Way to go!! And keep it up...it feels so nice to read happy diaries where people are positive about their experiences! |
from foursquare : |
I had a feeling right from the start it was shut off for non payment. What an asshole he is. |
from randommuse : |
I can't tell you how many times I was told to keep my mouth shut so I wouldn't make my dad mad. Men like them are idiots and aren't worth the time. Once clinicals are finished, you'll get a great job and get out of there. |
from wvprincess : |
alrighty..two days without an entry..I'm going through withdrawal symptoms over here!! :) Hope you are feeling better! |
from randommuse : |
Enjoy the movies and get better soon. |
from randommuse : |
Glad you stayed home...better to be safe. Also, pretty weird but my family is exactly the same. My mom's family has a history of strokes in females at very young ages and none seem to make it past their fifties. My dad's family, the irritating ones, live fucking forever. No cancer either. I'm hoping that everything evens out for me. |
from shewhowalks : |
Thanks!! From both of us! I'll let every one know anything else I find out about it and ya'll can see her pretty little face on TV! |
from randommuse : |
Glad you had a good day in school and VERY GLAD Ivan is going to give you guys a pass. |
from kellbelle : |
She's probably realizing that she is married now... and you guys aren't.. and she is the one who is not "fitting in" anymore. From the way she's acting she's probably right! |
from shewhowalks : |
Emma's best friend from on here, Cassie, and her family live there. I'd love to move Emma closer to someone I think she'd really love. |
from shewhowalks : |
I don't know. I guess I'm just a sucker for rocky coast lines, lighthouses and harsh winters where you're holed up for weeks on end with nothing but snow. We used to go to my grandmothers ranch every year for Christmas, and we cut our own tree there and everything, but I hated it, it was something like 75 and that's just nuts! If I do move down there, it will probably be near the Keys, or St. Augustine. But I'm still really thinking of going to back to MD, or to Jersey. We'll see. |
from shewhowalks : |
I've got another friend who's been trying to talk me into moving down there too. And Scott's brother, Keith lives in Key West. It's not a bad idea, but I don't think I could live without winter. |
from randommuse : |
Okay, these people are idiots! Hope you're not in a hurricane path and are taking care of yourself. |
from shewhowalks : |
I promise, there was no cut and paste involved. Lots of stalking... Kidding. =) |
from randommuse : |
Geez, what a bitch C is! But, way to go you for stepping up to the plate and taking care of things. |
from falo : |
Hey Crystal Congratulations on taking the bull by the horns in surgery. Maybe it was a stroke of good fortune that you got the lazy C. 2 down, 78 to go! |
from laurie2002 : |
Aren't you supposed to get a t-shirt or something for this? |
from mammas-pills : |
Glad you made it through the hurricane okay. Sounds like it was awesome. Thank you much for the kind words you left in my diary. I appreciate it. Take care of yourself. |
from randommuse : |
It is hard to explain the beauty of storms unless you've grown up with them, isn't it? Okie-land storms are the best. |
from emiline220 : |
Glad you made it through okay. We'll be heading back home tomorrow. Hopefully, the damage in Orlando will be minimal, but I guess I'll find out tomorrow. |
from wifemotherme : |
Happy to hear your ok, i also enjoy watching the storms roll in - but if Ivan takes a trun into the gulf my butt is going home to TN - you might want to start thinking about getting the heck out of dodge too - this one is not going to be one to play with |
from emiline220 : |
I hope you are doing okay. Stay safe and good luck through all of this. |
from randommuse : |
Clinicals will get better, I'm sure. And stay safe!!! |
from foursquare : |
I'm thinking a lot about you with the hurricane. At least you're on the other side, but that storm is so huge... Stay safe! |
from invisibledon : |
CONGRATS! - see I told you all that while back that you could do this and now you have. YAY for you. |
from starwhore : |
thankyou for your note. it was lovely. yes you did read correctly, sort of, im 16 in a few months. anyway, once again, thankyou for your note. it made me smile. xtake carex Rachel |
from randommuse : |
Congrats on finishing school!!! And can't wait to hear your hospital stories! |
from randommuse : |
Yep, the meteorologists are calling for a 20% chance of rain this weekend, so you know Labor Day's gonna be wet as hell. |
from wvprincess : |
I forgot to tell you that the other day when you listed all those different things for helping to find worms etc...I decided oh what the hell..I'll try it just in case..yeah..I found like 10 trojan whatevers (I'm not exactly too sure what they were..lol) So a big thank you for posting that info!! :) |
from wifemotherme : |
WTG!!! I never doubted for a single second you were not going to pull this off. You rock! |
from shewhowalks : |
Congrats on the test and passing sweetie!! |
from randommuse : |
Way to go on your test! And you'll do just as well on the one tomorrow. And, I have to admit the first line "I still have worms" cracked me up...if someone hadn't been reading your diary and realize you've had computer problems, it's a pretty funny line. |
from randommuse : |
All kinds of good thoughts, best wishes, ANYTHING I can think of in the way of positivity coming your way. It IS all worth it. When you're a scrub tech, you'll look back on all this and roll your eyes at how much Mrs. G tried to psych you out. |
from wvprincess : |
You're going to do great on your finals I just know it!! |
from kellbelle : |
Maybe she is seeing how well you handle stress?? Just trying to be positive LOL Good luck. |
from shewhowalks : |
Ah babe, I know you can do it. You'll be just fine. And, it is all worth it. Think of the how great you'll feel at the end, knowing that you busted your butt, and that the pay off is exactly what you'd hoped. Accomplishment is one of the greatest feelings in the world!! Good luck! |
from nmnohr : |
Good Luck! I know you can do it! |

This is worth it! Your going to have a killer career that you can move any where in the world and still have a job - Your going to have a job where you have the opportunity to learn and grow on a daily basis. Your going to have a job that will give you a better than average chance at marring a doctor, but your going to have a career that you will never need to marry a doctor or depend on any man! - Yes its worth it! Now get your ass back to work! |
from randommuse : |
Sending all kinds of good vibes to you to make an A on your test. You can do it!!! |
from shewhowalks : |
Thank you. I just don't know where I'm going right now. I can't even begin to think about being mad, I'm so hurt. I don't know what I'm going to do. I hope, sadly, that I can just walk away from them, and never have to speak to them again. But she is family afterall.... and our family gets together often. Going to make for some akward holidays.... |
from randommuse : |
That Keith is a hottie, isn't he? Actually, not a bad singer, either. |
from randommuse : |
Sometimes people look for any little power-play they can make. It means their lives are pitiful so they take it out on others. |
from randommuse : |
Geez, what a bitch! Okay, just keep your head down and count those twelve days off with a calendar and red marker. |
from randommuse : |
Chicka, I know you're ready to be finished with school, but pull that F up!! You can do it! |
from nmnohr : |
I'm finally starting to get caught up. I'm so glad that you are ok and didn't get hit by the hurricane. |
from wvprincess : |
lol...ok..read it wrong then...well I sure wish they would pass a law like that up here! :) |
from wvprincess : |
If you think that 1.77 is expensive..you would hate to buy gas up here..lol..the cheapest I have seen has been 1.89.. oh..we named the puppy Sophie!! |
from shewhowalks : |
As far as we know he, and his baby (hotel) were missed for the most part and suffered only minimal damage. Mostly just a little bit of water damamge. And, that could have happened with any good rain this season. Thanks for your concern!! Glad you're okay too! |
from randommuse : |
Glad to hear Charley missed you! I've been catching up on past entries....go you and your straight A self!!! And all the stuff about paying back loans, etc. just remember...one step at a time. Prioritize (like getting out of the house as #1) and go from there. You can do it!!! |
from shewhowalks : |
Happy to see you're okay sweetie!!! |
from wvprincess : |
I'm so glad you are ok..I was worried all evening!! |
from emiline220 : |
I hope you stay safe! I can't believe he isn't doing anything when the rest of your city is being evacuated. My boss is the same way, though. We still have to go into work tomorrow. It shouldn't be as bad in Orlando, but if it hits while I am at work I might not be able to get home! Don't be scared though, I've been though many hurricanes and this one seems like it might not be too bad. Do you have a hallway without any windows? That's where my mom and I used to sit during hurricanes and I felt pretty safe there. Good luck and stay safe! |
from wvprincess : |
I will be thinking about you..I hope that you will be safe! You can always start filling up bottles of water from the tap..just in case! I can't believe he isn't doing anything..you should always be prepared for storms like these! |
from kellbelle : |
Stay safe girl! |
from shewhowalks : |
People really make me laugh. You know, if it were me, I think I'd just go ahead and pack up and go! At least you'd have an excuse for a mini-vacation! I know I need to get ahold of Keith, Scotts brother and make sure he's okay. He runs a huge hotel in Key West...... My thoughts are with you guys!! |
from shewhowalks : |
Congrats on the job. And watch out for those storms!! I was in Key West a few years ago and had to be evacuated during a hurricane, it was no fun!! |
from shewhowalks : |
Good luck kiddo!!! (You can have my job any time you want it!! I'll just sign it right over! Let me know when you're on your deathbed, we'll talk! lol) |
from kellbelle : |
Good luck with getting the job!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!! |
from shewhowalks : |
Thanks! You're a peach! |
from kellbelle : |
No worries my friend :) Any "friend" who uses those kinds of words to you (and in that manner) either thinks little of you, or little of themselves. Does she know you well enough to know how that kind of a comment could sting you? Just curious. Anyway... I'm glad you didn't let it get to you. She was just rude. |
from shewhowalks : |
You are absolutely fabulous!! Thank you so much! |
from shewhowalks : |
I would really like to know what secrets Melanie has. I'm a single mom, I make decent money, and I don't qualify for a darn thing! I guess I get a little angry at people who make enough money to live, and still use all the goverment help they can get. Let someone who really needs it have it! Okay, off my soap box now! Have a fabulous weekend! |
from kellbelle : |
Not all people with kids feel that way. There are things you will understand that someone with kids never will. It goes both ways. |
from kellbelle : |
You can feel compassion because you are a good and kind person. I think people like Tisha come along in our lives to teach us many lessons. You learned how to deal with stress, confrontation, issues of fairness... and now compassion :) |
from falo : |
Hey there Blue Eyez. Thank you for the surgery 101. I feel much better informed and capable of ensuring desireable circumstances in the OR for myself and for my loved ones. |
from alwaysnaive : |
I really hope you can get out of that toxic atmosphere at your house ASAP, but until then try to hang in there with DJ. Be strong...I know you can do it! |
from kellbelle : |
Noooo don't cut out the drama! LOL If you do that, you're just gonna have to email me...so you decide ;) hehe |
from kellbelle : |
Ohhh that was so worth the wait!! LOL As the stomach churns, so are the days of a surgical technician. |
from kellbelle : |
I'm dying to hear what happened with Tisha at the hospital yesterday! UPdate woman! LOL |
from kellbelle : |
OMG!!! I can't believe that she was at the hospital!! LOL I must say it makes very good reading in your diary though ;) hehe |
from shewhowalks : |
I think what floors me, is that I wasn't even thinking along those lines when I went to bed last night. Who knows, maybe I was more open to the thought, the realization of it, since I wasn't obcessing. And maybe, just maybe, next time it will be in real life. |
from shewhowalks : |
I just can't stop thinking that this is the person I'm supposed to be with. Forever. It's really actually disconcerting. But I think I'm just going to fly high on it for a while! I've never felt this good! |
from kellbelle : |
At least she is back to eating and isn't running fever anymore. That's the most important thing :) I'll keep happy kitty thoughts for your kitty. |
from kellbelle : |
Have you changed anything recently? Maybe her nose is just more sensitive since she hasn't been feeling well? I wouldn't over analyze it. It might be something simple that will pass. :) |
from kellbelle : |
DJ doesn't still have a beef with your cat, does he? They make animal repellant that humans can't smell. It's made to keep cats and dogs away from places you don't want them to go. Just a thought. |
from kellbelle : |
People like that are everywhere you go Crystal. If you ignore her... she will definitely go away. People like Tisha just fascinate me. Ignorance is bliss I guess huh? |
from kellbelle : |
I really have to admit that all the Tisha drama keeps me hanging on from day to day. LOL I'm so pathetic, but you haven't written about her lately... what's up with her?? LOL |
from wifemotherme : |
Wait! Dont tell God to make it stop just yet. I really really need it to rain for a few more days - and when it stops I will have time to update and tell you why it was so important that it rain these last few days. : ) |
from wvprincess : |
ok..well I just wrote a message in your guestbook..but of course it ate it..I hate that! Anyway..I don't think you should feel bad for cutting her out of your life..I have had to do that with two of my friends. Sometimes they just aren't the type of people you need in your life at the moment. You certainly shouldn't feel bad about focusing on your studies..that's such a great thing! There is plenty of time for men and if she can't understand that..well than that's her problem! Anywho..have a wonderful Friday!! :) |
from invisibledon : |
so was it a little irish jig ? or the running man. I can so see you doing the running man in your room or maybe the cabbage patch - :) Have a great weekend |
from foursquare : |
Thanks... Most of the time it's not like on the top of my mind, but, there's always that nagging little worry hiding back in there. Pooky's having a rough day today, he doesn't feel well and he's out in the same place and people are telling the story of what happened in very vivid detail. |
from foursquare : |
So what happened with Katrina and joining the navy? Did she get out of it somehow? |
from falo : |
Hi Crystal! Hey, I think the g'book cut me off. So, this may be a duplicate message, but, good luck with those professional contacts at the hospital. That is a great start toward the career after the scooling finishes. |
from foursquare : |
Christ, that fucking Tisha's got some issues. I hope things work out, somehow, before getting worse. |
from laurie2002 : |
Kick her ass!! I think men have trouble dealing with two females not getting along. I had the same experience this past year. |
from wifemotherme : |
I think I am waayyyy too involved in Diaryland. When I saw the pile up on the news you were the first person I thought of, and I HAVE FAMILY IN TAMPA! How twisted is that LOL |
from wifemotherme : |
Your updating at the same time I left the note was strange beyond words!!! But I am happy to hear your ok and getting some braless naked boobie action in class. All kidding aside dont let her jealousy cause you undo stress. I promise you when your out of school a year none of this will matter if you ignore her. Of couse you can always catch her at the walmart and smack the snap out of her |
from wifemotherme : |
Update already - heard about the accident on the Howard Franklin and been worried about you since, now that upteenhundred days have passed I am really concerned. Just put my mind at ease |
from lapland : |
"JUST FOR YOU" THIS IS A START OF A DREAM I ONCE DARED TO DREAM, AND IT'S AS GOOD AS IT SEEMS. I THINK OF YOU DAILY,AND AT NIGHT IT'S THE SAME, I HOPE ONE DAY IT'S YOUR HEART THAT I GAIN. BECAUSE I'M TIRED OF THE ENDLESS LIES, AND THE CHILDISH GAMES. THAT'S WHY I PICKED YOU, BECAUSE YOU DESERVE THE SAME. AS IN LOVE TO SHARE WITH LAUGHTER, AND SMILES. TO BE THERE WHEN I CRY,AND HELP ME TO DRY MY EYES. IT'S A THOUGHT OF LOVE THAT BRINGS ME TO YOU, I OFTEN WONDER IF YOU FEEL THE WAY I DO. YOU TELL ME NO LIES JUST THE TRUTH, AND I LOVE THAT I CAN SHARE MY FEELINGS WITH YOU. SAY AND DO AS YOU PLEASE, BUT PLEASE DON'T HURT ME, AND ALWAYS REMEMBER I'LL BE HERE FOR ALL ETERNITY. ANDY XXXX |
from lapland : |
Hello Princess sorry tohear that you spent all that time cooking only for you to only share it with your sis. have you thought about what we discussed on the phone?? cause if you have one day we will share a meal fit for a king and queen cooked by me together. |
from foursquare : |
Jesus, that fucking pisses me off. I hope you bitch your mom out about it. |
from invisibledon : |
have a great weekend !!!! |
from lapland : |
What are you like, i just readyour last diary posting about the labia, i haven,t laughed so much in a long time i must admit. i can imagine you now in surgery when the surgeon says check the colour of the patients labia to make sure they are getting enough oxygen and you lifting up the gown to take a peek lmao. crystal your a star i always liked you for being your natural no holds barred dizzy self now you have given me a reminder of why i fell in love with you all that time ago. the other classic i can remember is you saying (do you have carpets on the floor in england or is it straw lmao) i can remember that phone call shit i nearly had an asthma attack from laughing so much. can,t wait to speak to you again. take care princess Mwuahhhhhhhhhhhh love you for always Andy xx |
from invisibledon : |
YAY YOU PASSED - I knew you would - Cool stuff girl - now if I were there I would buy you mass amounts of booze to celebrate! |
from wifemotherme : |
Congrats on passing!!! WooWoo you go girl! Thank you so much for sharing the mental imagine of parting the vagina in the OR when it would have been the mouth the surgeon was asking about.....that cracked me up! and I desperately needed a laugh today |
from nmnohr : |
Congrats on passing! You deserve to feel proud......and I hope that you are. Even if it didn't go as you had planned. You still accomplished a big goal - way to go! |
from nmnohr : |
I'm just catching up on things. I'm sorry things have been so stressful. You are an amazing person, and I have faith that things will turn out great. You can do it! |
from lapland : |
Hello Princess. i never took you for a quitter i always thought you were a strong person inside even though you appear to be fragile on the outside, you get back on that horse and keep getting back on no matter how many times you fall off. as for failing well life throws a different challenge at us every day and sometimes you learn the first time then again you make a mistake and you learn by it and hopefully don,t make the same mistake again, if i had a pound/dollar for every mistake i have made i would be worth a fortune. some have been great big ones that come back and bite me on the bum but i don,t go there twice unless i really have not learnt. looks like Andy will have to make arrangements to call you so we can have a heart to heart and put the world to rights again. speak to you soon Princess. (Mahbuba tieghi qieghed nim missjak bqalbi kolla) English translation from Maltese. My Darling I Miss You With All My Heart. xxxx Andy |
from alwaysnaive : |
So sorry to hear you failed your check out. I'm rooting for you all the way! Keep up the great work; I'll be sending prayers and happy thoughts your way. |

from falo : |
Hey there Miss Blue Eyez. I just wanted to pop in and say hello. i hope that you are having a terrific day. |
from invisibledon : |
:) thank you for the post card! |
from laurie2002 : |
Oh. My. God. I am glad you and your family are okay. |
from falo : |
Hiya Crystal. And I just thought you were a bit sick and thus not writing. I'm glad to hear that you are well and okay after all of that. |
from wvprincess : |
I'm so glad you are ok..and I will be praying for you and your family! |
from nmnohr : |
Wow, I'm so glad that you are Ok. It sounds terrifying. |
from foursquare : |
Holy shit!! |
from falo : |
Woo Hoo! That car is practically 100% handled and in your driveway. Well done on getting the people in Oklahoma on your side! |
from falo : |
Hi Crystal. Boy, it's great to get an update. Hang tough! Things will get better. |
from wvprincess : |
Ok..what happened?? I hope everything is ok..let me know..I'm worried now.. |
from nmnohr : |
What's going on? Why so sad? Talk to me.......I'm worried about you. |
from foursquare : |
Whoa.... What happened? |
from invisibledon : |
Hola chica, are you still coming up to DC? |
from nmnohr : |
Wow, that's a lot to deal with all in one day. I knew that things didn't go well with G the last time, but it still surprises me that she wouldn't even call you to tell you that she had her baby. Not cool. It must have been very odd talking to Ronnie again.......I hope you are dealing with it OK> |
from falo : |
Hi Crystal. That is great, your experience with the ME. And if you can handle it once, you can certainly handle it again, should the need arise. Congratulations! |
from wench77 : |
Hmm, that is very interesting. I just googled "surgical technologist" after reading your "about me". I never really thought about it. Brilliant job. Yay! Very important! We always think of the surgeon saying "scalpel" and not much about the one who makes sure he actually gets the right thing put into his hand. Very cool. |
from wench77 : |
Hey there... I'm here via Dangerspouse's notes. That trick of cleaning up hubby's mess and then leaving and slyly coming home "early" and praising him is brilliant! My gosh! And searching for tranquility! Now there is someone with goals. I admire people who dare reach for the farthest stars! :) Tah! |
from falo : |
Hi Crystal! Hang in there. You're doing just great. Don't let the bad guys get you down. Good luck on finding your dad. |
from wvprincess : |
You should goes see the movie..it's good! :) I'm sorry that you feel like a prisoner right now..I know how that is...I feel the same way when my cousins come and visit..they drive me nuts! |
from tom-seb-jak : |
STAT! |

"How the hell can crazy people teach other people how to tell if someone is crazy" oh crazy phyc teachers are the best!!!! Dont you know it takes one to know one! |
from dangerspouse : |
You should try one of those flea collars. They make women look very sexy/subservient, and work pretty well too. My Welsh Corgi highly recommends them to all the bitches. |
from falo : |
Hi Crystal. Boy that fight story made me really mad at the taunting high school boys. And, thanks for the birthday mention in your diary. How did you figure that out? I guess I occasionally throw out facts about myself and I am surprised when someone remembers! |
from wifemotherme : |
As a female I really dont understand the male ego, but regardless of rather you understand it or not, it just is. I am sure Ronnie had no idea he was subconscience trying to prove he was tough. Its genetic. Lesson learned here, never demaculate a man -- like you I had to learn this one the hard way -- come to think of it I wrote an entry on this very same subject last year or the year before. PS AINT THIS WEATHER TO DIE FOR!!! We really do live in heaven on eart! |
from randommuse : |
He does think you're a good student, that's why he recommended you. However, he also knows enough about these types of things that if he gives you on 5 on everything, the committee is going to collectively say, "Bullshit." Therefore, he has to mark you less than perfect on something. So he actually picked the easiest one...the emotion one. If he had picked the others it might have made the committee think you're not doing well in this field. By picking emotion, he picked the vaguest one and the one least likely to affect your chances. |
from randommuse : |
Good for you! You're right, going back to school is for YOU and you have every right to celebrate YOUR graduation in the way YOU want! |
from randommuse : |
Wha?!?!? People didn't like your choice of profession and used that to stop emailing?!?! It sounds fascinating to me. Those peepul crazeee!!!!! |
from foursquare : |
It's occured to me on more than one occasion I should probably do a little behaviour modification when dealing with them. I'm really tired of dealing with certain crap from both of them. Thanks for your note, it's given me something to mull over. |
from nmnohr : |
Obviously anyone who can not associate with you because of your choice of profession, isn't worth your time in the first place. It's a sad day, when someone doesn't want to email you because you are going to be an ST, and they are afriad of becomming someone's prey? That's just plain ridiculous. Guess I should stop hanging around with my cop friend. He might take me prisoner or something. Duh. Anyway, it's their loss. You rock! |
from randommuse : |
Good for you!! See, you've learned a lot this past year :) And, loved the IRS joke, especially since, if I've figured my state taxes correctly, even though I claim ZERO I'm still going to owe. They never mention the tax situation when they talk about how cheap it is to live in Okie-land. |
from randommuse : |
1. Shopping is wonderful. 2. Your room sounds great! 3. Your uncle sounds like a real piece of work. Oh, I didn't know if you had heard, but the Sammarai (Sammarai, Sammarai) closed. Mourning in the streets, I tell ya! |
from dangerspouse : |
Quick! Throw a salmon in the microwave and shut the door! Don't even turn it on, just let it smoke gently in there. Mmmmmmmmmm....popcorn-smoked salmon..... |
from randommuse : |
Yep, I KNEW Jack and Ron would kill the homesickness : ) If you get really bad, just remember their car commercials ::shudder:: How much longer do you have in school? Glad you seem excited about your new career and know it will be worth the sacrifices you're making now. |
