| hey thanks for the note. I'm glad someone noticed the banner. =) The triple moon symbol, with a full moon in the center and two crescents on the side, is a Goddess/pagan symbol. And the circle with the equal/cross attached to the bottom of the symbol for Female (or Venus in astrology terms, whichever you prefer). I tried to paint the symbol camoflauge, since I'm in the military, but it didn't work to good. |

My diary isn't up and running, but I have been reading yours on and off for awhile and I just had to tell that you and your girlfriend seem like such nice people...and funny!! I find myself rolling on the floor laughing sometimes! I am not gay, I am married with two beautiful children, but to me love is love. I have never had a problem with gay people, you can't help who you fall in love with. Love knows no boundries. I sorta, kinda know your situation..well, not exactley, but along the lines of racism...my husband is Mexican and I am white. I have never really experienced any racial problems..knock on wood, but I know people who have and it scares me. I have a son from my first marriage, he is white, blue eyes, blonde hair....and I have a daughter with my hubby now(We've been together 7 years.) She is the complete opposite of my son...she is dark with almost black hair and dark brown eyes. I worry for her sometimes, because the kids at my son's school ask him why he has a brown sister...etc. I don't understand why parents don't teach their kids tolerance, kindness, love, respect...I could go on...and on. And I don't understand why the world can't be a little kinder. Well, anyways, I will get going and stop wasting your time! | Ok, third time is the charm. I left a note in your GB but the site failed to register it, so then I tried again and it said I couldn't sign again this quickly. So, here's the third go and the message I was sending: 1) Thanks for the congrats on the house. :) 2) I remember how scary therapy was to me at first, too. Now it seems totally normal. You'll get there, if you stick with it. 3) It's normal to have an initial consultation with a new therapist just to see what your issues are and how they think those issues are best approached. There's a lot of types of therapy (including medication, which psychiatrists can prescribe but psychologists cannot), and they just want to make sure it's a good fit before they take you on. If it's not, they'll likely refer you to someone who is. 4) If this therapist is not GLBT friendly, talk to me. Because of my professional connections, I can probably help you find one who is. | actually, i am a designer at lucky designs... but i haven't seen any of my layouts reviewed, or if i have i don't remember. i guess it's just a pet peeve of mine to see a layout praised and admired (or trashed), and the diarist gets the credit rather than the designer. i'm always disappointed when i read a review and the reviewer raves about the layout, and when i check it out it's a template. just a personal quirk i guess. :) |

| hey jenne, About weight. number 1, I am 2 inches shorter and weigh about what you do. ANd I don't look like a hulk. Neither do you. number 2. Have you tried a low carbohydrate diet? High protien and fat but low carbohydrate can really be good to jumpstart weight loss. Atkins dietis one example. | Yes, you like an audience and the interaction born from that. And most diary reviews are set up to get more of just that -- an audience. But I believe that the grade of a diary review is often misleading and that often the mission purpose set out by diary reviewers are not completely accurate to what they actually do. If you think my points are valid, then perhaps a rewording your mission purpose would be better. That this grade is how well your diary is set up for audience attraction and audience retraction. And also what of my point on the extra credit problem? I am not looking for an argument, but you seem to be resisting any sort of discussion. |

| Umm. I suspect I'll be the person with the least pointful things to say to you so I apologize in advance. The most important thing is you're trying. Yeah, that's the point at which one would scoff and wonder why I even said anything so I'll say that I used to weigh 275 pounds. Between December and March I lost 60 of it and have only fluctuated within 5 pounds more or less than what I'm at now. No, I'm not advertising some miracle weight loss drug. I don't feel like I look like I lost that weight, I hated that it even took that long, and my goal had been to lose 30 more (Been failing miserably since March.). I guess I mostly wanted to say that when you're trying you tend to eventually run across the something that works for you. It's irritatingly unimmediate, but it gets you there in the end. And since that was so useless and weird I'll add this thought. Maybe you should have your tongue pierced. ;) I know.. It's just that 1) It'll mess with your eating habits and abilities anyway and 2) It's there and it keeps you occupied. I've heard it's helpful to people who have just quit smoking. I was mostly teasing, anyway. And for the record I'm not as scary as I appear in notes. |

| Hey jenne. Don't eat less...just eat healthier and try to relax. I know that sounds crazy, but if you eat less your body will automatically begin storing any food supply you give it. Its kinda like a survival thing. I learned this when I was in the hospital for an eating disorder. Trust me. That is not a fun path to take. And you don't end up healthy or happy with your body. As far as worrying about what people driving by will say and think...just remember...they don't know you...and they are more then likely alot more miserable then you with their body. And if anything get Kiki to go with you. Not that either of you need it in my opinion, but at least then you'll have a buddy and it'll be something else you two can do together! | Back when I reviewed at Diary Reviews, they were still pretty new, and there were only 2 or 3 other review sites around. The reviewers then were, in my opinion, a better quality. But Jenn, as much as I love her, was one hella slavedriver!! She'd give us 5-6 reviews per day, and it was very difficult to do that many. So most of us ended up quitting, and now, none of the same people are there. Turnover is huuuge. How it can start small, minute so that one can hardly tell if at all that something has shifted. A balance of power is slowly toppled. Girl! Are you stressin over the GRE?!? Belive me, I know how hard it can be to get back on the graduate school track after bein out and earnin some dollars for awhile! It's a lot of work and a pain in the butt, but it's worth it in the end! The GRE isn't as hard as they make it out to be. I think from reading your diary that you'll have no problem with the verbal/language/expression part of the test, dunno bout the math part, but it really isn't too bad. Since the test is on a computer now, they gear the questions to what you can answer. If you get a question wrong, the next one is a little easier, so it's something you can answer! The net is a great way to prepare for it too! You can find practice tests for free. | I too am referring to rainbow grrrls ring... What browser and version are you on, because the code has worked perfect on both Netscape and Explorer in any computer I have checked. You did try to click on it, its not a mouseover code. And why would you say that my rings page doesnt load...I dont have a rings page. I have the drop down selection box with a listing of the rings. Are you sure you checked the right page, or maybe you were confuse or something...because now I am confused. I also wanted to join this ring, and I thought I had been approved before, was I deleted with out being told? |

| Hi :o) I forget if I left you a note before or not. But, I just wanted to say "chin-up" gurlie, it's OK about your mom and you should NOT feel guilty. I hated my mom for many years too, because she was mentally ill. But, when I graduated college (last year) I realized it was doing more damage to me to spend so much negative energy on hate.
